On 08FEB2018, U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions attended the Opioid Summit, hosted by U.S. Southern Command (SouthComm).
The Department of Defense led Opioid Summit was trying to find a way to bring together healthcare organizations, local law enforcement and the military in an attempt to create a national ‘collective response’ to the record level of drug abuse in the United States, without the President having to declare Martial Law.
The pseudo-martial-law organization was referred to as the U.S. ‘interagency’.

Alaska: State senator David Wilson in trouble not only for alleged sexual harassment, but for ‘retaliation’.
Alabama: After years of complaints and no action by the state Department of Public Health and Department of Environmental Management, researchers with Auburn University have declared the wellwater under Fruithurst in excess of federal EPA limits for radon and heavy metals. It was noted that there are several illegal trash dumps in the area. The state Attorney General ramping up training of law enforcers in how to deal with opioid overdoses.
Arizona: State representative Don Shooter facing censure, and possible expulsion, over accusations of sexual harassment. As a result of sexual harassment claims, state lawmakers are considering banning the consumption of alcohol within the state House. The state militia is being attacked by the Regular Army! The Arizona National Guard’s 1-285th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion is being shutdown by the end of 2018.
Colorado: Tax-sucker Northrop Grumman eliminating an additional 38 jobs (on top of the 1-hundred) due to losing a contract at Schriever Air Force Base. In Denver, after 16 years Mile High Doggie Daycare shutdown and unable to refund money to customers who ‘pre-paid’ for services, the owners blame the lack of sales on the city’s ‘gentrification’ of the area.

Delaware:An independent review found that taxpayer funded Vaughn Correctional Center is a potential time bomb as there are not enough guards to manage the prisoners. The prison guard union said guards are tired of working constant overtime and don’t feel safe. New Castle County paid $1.4-million USD in overtime for emergency response calls, mainly due to opiod drug overdoses.

Indiana: After getting $7-million USD in state tax incentives Trump’s buddy Carrier continues killing jobs, this time 215! Supposedly it’s the last round of layoffs connected to Carrier moving some production to Mexico.
Maryland: A new survey says the piddly weekend federal government shutdown revealed that the people of Maryland are the second most dependent upon federal taxpayers.
Michigan: West Shoreline Correctional Facility shutting down in March, 174 jobs gone due to a “significant decline in the prison population statewide”! The implication is that either crime is way down in the economically depressed and corruptly run state, and/or residents are ‘getting the hell outta Dodge’. New Jersey: The city of Hackensack challenging the non-profit tax exempt status of Hackensack University Medical Center, in an attempt to impose $19-million USD in property taxes. Since 2015 cash strapped cities have challenged the tax exempt status of more than 35 non-profit hospitals! In some cases judges ruled some non-profit hospitals are actually for-profit enterprises.
New York: State taxpayers raped of more than $10-million USD by their own state lawmakers in order to settle at least 88 cases of sex-crimes by the state government! Does settling a sex-crimes lawsuit turn the ‘victim’ into a ‘prostitute’:
North Carolina: Taxpayer funded defense contractor ARMA Global eliminating 99 jobs by the end of March. After getting $475-thousand local tax dollars in incentives Absolute Plastics issued a layoff WARN eliminating 1-hundred of its 150 jobs due to crashing sales! Local politicians claim they’re trying to get the money back.
Oklahoma: In Oklahoma City, Kaiser’s Grateful Bean Cafe shutdown due to the city’s $131-million USD public transportation project, which has killed 80% of the restaurant’s business.
Pennsylvania: More proof that Philadelphia’s job killing soda-pop tax is a failure; first year tax collections are $19-million USD below what was projected. Capital Area Transit-Cumberland-Dauphin-Harrisburg Transit Authority laid off five people and is consolidating operations to cut costs. The largest east coast refinery, Philadelphia Energy Solutions, now bankrupt busted due to federal government imposed Renewable Energy Credit (RIN) which cost the refinery $217-million USD in 2017.
Tennessee: Oak Ridge National Laboratory laying off at least 1-hundred people, this after 232 employees were convinced to voluntarily quit!
Texas: In San Antonio a popular restaurant, Pollos Asados Los Nortenos, was shutdown by ass-hole health inspectors who said the smoke from the grill was polluting the air, even after the restaurant owner spent $250-thousand USD to upgrade the grill to be in compliance with state laws! 50 jobs gone due to the ass-holes TCEQ and the Attorney General’s Office.
Utah: In Lehi, after 47 years iconic Porter’s Place steak joint shutdown because the city is not willing to spend $30-thousand USD to repair corroded sewer lines (the restaurant was leasing the building)!

For awhile now I’ve been suspecting that the ongoing earthquakes in southeastern Idaho could be the result of secretive fracking operations by the petroleum industry. But this time it might be due to a sudden increase in activity around the Pacific Ring of Fire.
23JAN2018, in Japan, northwest of Tokyo, a volcano (Mount Kusatsu-Shirane) suddenly erupts. Cell phone video shows the eruption occurred in a new area not associated with the volcano, on the slopes of a ski resort. One soldier killed while taking part in ski training, 11 people injured.
One volcano can destroy all human attempts at curbing human caused air pollution, so stop trying to waste your taxpayer funding on trying to stop climate change. But volcanoes cause Ice Ages, not global warming, so mister-almost-was-president-of-the-U.S.-if-he-hadn’t-of-given-in-to-George-Bush-Jr-threats Al Gore, it looks like Mother Earth is taking care of ‘global warming’!

On 16JAN2018 U.S. Secretary of Defense James N. Mattis paid a visit to Mountain Home Air Force Base, in Idaho.
The researchers studied Of Mice and Men, I mean mice and humans. They intentionally put micro-parasite filled crap (shit, doo-doo, poo, feces, caca,) from exercised mice into the guts of sedentary parasite free mice. To their surprise the micro-parasites from exercised mice produced healthy butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid needed to regenerate your intestines!

It’s official, Syria, with help from Russia, is on the verge of defeating the U.S.-EU-NATO created Islamic State (DAIISH=DA for al-DAwla, I for al-Islamiya, I for al-Iraq, SH al-SHam)! Only the DAIISH occupied city of Raqqa is left and the Syrian Arab Army plans on fully overrunning it.
At the same time, Syrian officials sent letters to the United Nations Secretary General, and the Security Council, complaining that Israel continues to bomb civilian economic areas of the Province of Homs: “The Government of the Syrian Arab Republic calls upon the UNSC to condemn the blatant Israeli aggressions and calls on the international organization to adopt firm and immediate measures to stop those attacks and hold Israel accountable for its support of terrorism which would inflame the situation in the region and the world.”
While DAIISH is on the run, Syrian towns are still being attacked by Israeli backed Nusra Front (Jabhat al-Nusra). Today, nine people were killed, and dozens wounded, by a Nusra Front car bomb in the town of Hadar.

Also, Russia used aircraft and submarine launched cruise missiles to bomb DAIISH command posts and depots around the town of al-Bokamal-Abu Kamal, southeast of Deir Ezzor, near the border with Iraq. Russian military leaders in Syria said it was a major step in creating an environment that will allow the Syrian government to fully liberate eastern Syria.
Today, Russia openly accused the United States and NATO of committing war crimes by deliberately preventing humanitarian aid for refugees near al-Tanfnear the Syrian–Iraqi border: “By having organized there its military base and prohibiting anyone from approaching it closer than 55km, the U.S. bears responsibility for the situation, where dozens of Syrian internally displaced persons, staying at the al-Rukban camp nearby, are deprived of a chance to receive humanitarian assistance.”-Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in Syria

Just a day before the victory in Deir Ezzor, Syria and Oman signed an ‘understanding’ with the future goal of expanding, and even fully nationalizing, their oil industries.
After reporting yet another quarter of crashed sales, Sears Holdings was given the go-ahead to sell-off an additional 140 properties in order to provide cash to the failing Sears-Kmart retired employee’s fund! Remember, properties sold-off are not counted in the official Sears Holdings shutdown announcements.
A third round of mass Sears-Kmart shutdowns (45 Kmart, 18 Sears) announced, to take place by January 2018. News reports say at one time there were more than 5-thousand-6-hundred full-sized Sears-Kmart stores, but after this latest round of shutdowns they’ll be down to about 1-thousand-2-hundred. Sears Holdings officials continue to ignorantly tell local news media that affected employees can apply for a job at other Sears-Kmart stores!
Alabama: 35 years old Albertville Kmart, local news media reported it is the last Kmart in the entire state. Tuscaloosa Sears, leaving only two full-sized Sears stores in the state.
Arizona: Casa Grande Kmart. Mesa Sears store and Auto Center at Fiesta Mall.
Arkansas: Sears operations in Fayetteville and Fort Smith.
Connecticut: Employees of the Sears Appliance & Hardware in Shelton told customers the store was being shutdown right after Xmas. Local news media confirmed when a hand written sign appeared at the entrance of the store a week later, but no comment from store management.
Florida: Kmarts in Clearwater, Milton and Sebring. Local taxpayers in Titusville getting stuck with the redevelopment bill for a vacant Kmart. The property has been vacant since 2009, a property developer told the North Brevard Economic Development Zone that the only way it would take on the job of redeveloping the vacant Kmart was if it got ten years worth of tax breaks!
Georgia: Kmarts in Dalton, Macon and Tifton. Sears operations in Lithonia and Valdosta (ending 76 years of Sears ops in Valdosta).
Idaho: The Ammon Kmart.
Illinois: Effingham Kmart. The Pekin Sears Hometown Store shutting down before Xmas.
Kentucky: Kmarts in Henderson, Glasgow, Versailles and Frankfort.
Maryland: The Baltimore-Dundalk Sears at Eastpoint Mall.
Massachusetts: Sears in Lanesboro-Pittsfield’s Berkshire Mall (local news reports say the mall has massive vacancies even before the Sears is supposed to shutdown, the value of the mall has dropped by $41-million USD since 2006) .
Michigan: Kmarts in Battle Creek, Clinton and Mount Pleasant.
Minnesota: Thief River Falls Kmart.
Missouri: Kmarts in Independence, Popular Bluff, Sedalia and Saint Louis.
Montana: In Great Falls, a Sears Hometown Store employee facing sentencing for stealing more than $3-thousand-7-hundred USD through fake merchandise returns, police say she confessed. But here’s the kicker, she was fired before she was arrested because her employee background check finally came through, which showed she lied about her lengthy criminal record.
Ohio: Kmarts in Austintown, Cleveland (69 jobs gone), Hillsboro, Oregon and Saint Marys. Commercial property dealers are sounding a warning about the growing number of vacant retail space in Ohio: “That’ll take years for the market to absorb.”-Pete Shawaker, Reichle Klein Group

Texas: The last Kmart in El Paso, on Sunland Park Drive, shutting down in January 2018 (apparently this store is not officially part of the latest round of mass shutdowns), at one time there were six Kmart stores in El Paso. The Kmart in Texarkana. Sears operations in Lufkin and San Angelo’s Sunset Mall. Local news media reported earlier in the year that the Sunset Mall Sears store was actually experiencing increased sales: “Sales in tools have grown 5% year-over-year. In Cebu City four people were recently arrested for shooting and killing a retired cop while he was driving a taxi. The shooting happened last week. Also in Cebu City, today a man was arrested in a cemetery because he was in possession of an illegally made revolver.
In Mandaue City, a female cop was shot multiple times and killed. Local news media report that the Mandaue City Police Office said the female cop was shot in the Consuelo Village-Basak area of the city, but they currently don’t know why she was in that location.
Back in June, a retired soldier was arrested for gun-running after being caught a checkpoint in Barangay Taytay area of Danao City. Also, seven people were arrested and 17 guns captured, four of which were ‘homemade’ guns. In July, police claim they shot and killed an illegal drugs-gun running ‘hit man’ after a gun battle, however, witnesses say they saw the cops plant a gun and drugs on the man’s body after they killed him. Then in August, a businessman in the Suba Village area of Danao City was arrested for illegal possession of guns, and for financing the illegal manufacture of guns. In September, a man in the Sitio Dancar area of Danao City was arrested for possession of an illegal shotgun. The reports of illegal gun busts and arrests take place almost on a weekly bases.
I’ve written before that the Philippines has some of the toughest anti-gun laws, but at the same time they have one of the highest gun ‘ownership’ rates in the world. That’s because people make their own guns in illegal factories known as Danao Gun Factories. So much for words written on piece of paper called a ‘Law’.
