Notably, the founder of ebay, Pierre Morad Omidyar, helped to create the ‘Censorship Infrastructure’ system!  Remember, ebay bought-out PayPal in 2002.

Forbes, October 2022: “A part of PayPal’s user agreement that says any customer in violation of the platform’s ‘acceptable use’ policy is subject to a $2,500 fine has been in place since at least 2013, according to the website’s archive. The fine had largely gone unnoticed until earlier this month when PayPal updated its acceptable use policy…”

Self driving car hits metro bus! Accident kept secret for 2 weeks?

In what could be the first ever recorded accident caused by a self-driving car, a Google self-driving Lexus bumped into a bus in California.  And in what sounds like a conspiracy, Google was able to keep the accident from public view for two weeks!

It happened on 14 February 2016, in Mountain View. Perhaps they waited for the official police report to be issued before publicly admitting their mistake?

The Google car hit the city bus at two miles per hour while pulling away from the curb, after stopping on the side of the street supposedly to avoid sandbags.   Google admitted their idiot and arrogant luxury “AV (autonomous vehicle)” thought the lowly mass transit city bus would yield: “Our car had detected the approaching bus, but predicted that it would yield to us because we were ahead of it……  Our test driver, who had been watching the bus in the mirror, also expected the bus to slow or stop.”

My question is why should a city bus stop for a vehicle waiting on the side of the street?  I’ve never seen a city bus do that, if you’re sitting in your car on the side of the street you have to yield to the traffic that’s already traveling by before you can pull away from the curb!  That’s common driving rules!

This is a fine example of what I’ve written about before; when it comes to accidents who’s responsible, the humans who own the AV, or the company who makes the AV?

California: In Redlands, after ten years Treasures Antiques shutdown.  Albertsons-Safeway issued yet another layoff WARN for Pleasanton, this time 37 people to be unemployed in September. ObamaCare forcing nursing home operator Hank Fisher Properties to layoff 242 people between September and December!  ObamaCare forced Abbott Vascular to layoff 244 Californians!  In Paso Robles, the SPS Distribution Center will shutdown in September. In Ripon, Ruan Transportation is shutting down by September, 78 jobs lost.  In San Juan, Armstrong Growers shutting down in September, 56 jobs lost.  In Salinas, Driscoll’s Strawberry Associates shutting down in September, 38 jobs lost.  In Los Angeles, Turf Terminators laid off 94 employees.  In Santa Monica, Buca Restaurants 2 issued a shutdown WARN for September, 61 jobs lost. In Trona, CR Briggs laying off five employees in September.  In San Diego, United Technologies issued a shutdown WARN for September, 21 jobs lost.  Boston Scientific announced they’re shutting down their Fremont and San Jose operations in October, 455 jobs lost!  In Mountain Pass, Molycorp Minerals laying off 474 people by the end of the month!  In Oakland, Owens-Brockway Glass Container shutting down by October, 202 jobs lost! The Hilton San Francisco Union Square laying off 78 people in October.  In Orange, Binder & Binder shutting down in September, 70 jobs lost.  Bankrupt busted Anna’s Linens announced they’re shutting down their Costa Mesa store in September, 29 jobs lost.  It’s part of their plan to shutdown 2-hundred stores across the U.S.

Massachusetts: In Boston Weak, after 96 years (surviving the Great deflationary Depression and numerous recessions) Quinzani’s Bakery shutting down next week, and being sold-off, 90 jobs lost.  Local news reports say the area has become a revolving door of failed businesses (“rapidly gentrifying”).

Michigan: According to local news reports dozens of protestors accuse the administrators of Saginaw of skin colorism after several ‘black’ owned businesses were suddenly shutdown!  Lonnie’s Lounge and Terry’s Place were shutdown after a triple shooting that took place in the same neighborhood.  Security camera video shows the bars were already closed for business when the shootings happened! Protestors say city administrators made the decision in secret: “I understand the police and the city have the right to shut down businesses, but I feel it shouldn’t be a closed session. There should be something more public and more people should have a say.”-Tobias Young

In addition access to a popular gathering spot, Ojibway Island, has been blocked by police after 16:00 hours: “It seems like we are being profiled and grouped together as violent and disrespectful, and I feel there are more of us that are tax-paying citizens than the few bad apples…..They are subconsciously telling African Americans that they are not welcome on the island….”-Irie Sample

New Mexico:  The administrators of Google aren’t that smart after all, they just have too much money to play with.  Google suddenly pulled its Titan Aerospace solar powered drone program from Moriarty Airport, the problem is that state taxpayers shelled out $955-thousand USD upgrading the airport just for Titan Aerospace.  State administrators claim they’ve successfully forced Google to pay back the “economic assistance funds”.  Yeah, like Google needs economic assistance?

New York: What housing market recovery?  In Geddes, after 45 years Jerry’s Carpets shutdown.

North Carolina:  What automotive industry recovery? In Raleigh, Advanced Auto Parts laid off 50 former General Parts International employees.  In Durham, the Foster Street Daisy Cakes bakery shutting down next week, supposedly a popular donut shop is moving into the shop sometime this winter.

Ohio: In East Cleveland, Too Big to Jail KeyBank shutting down their office on Euclid Avenue, by November.  It’s part of their plan to shutdown 30 offices across the U.S.

Oklahoma: ObamaCare forcing residents of Broken Arrow to choose between the city’s new subscriber only LifeRide emergency medical services or paying outrageous ambulance fees.  City administrators say forcing residents to pay a “subscription” for ambulance service is the only way they can address skyrocketing costs.  Most residents will be automatically forced to subscribe as part of their city utilities service, while others have until the end of the month to “opt out” and hope they never need an ambulance.

Virginia: What automotive industry recovery?  Roanoke based Advanced Auto Parts laid off 50 corporate level employees, and will begin eliminating certain store “projects”.  It’s blamed on their take over of General Parts International.

Under the order, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) must cut its current budget by more than $30 million, 5 percent of the current 2013 appropriation, by September 30, 2013. In order to help achieve these savings and protect core programs, the BLS will eliminate two programs, including Mass Layoff Statistics, and all ‘measuring green jobs’ products. This news release is the final publication of monthly mass layoff survey data.”

The Executive Chairman of Google, Eric Schmidt, has been documented as attending three Bilderberg meetings in a row.   Now the tool of the globalist elites is making available an app (on Google Play) to allow police state martial law lovers to accuse their neighbors of being gun owners!

It’s called Gun Geo Marker: “These locations are typically the homes or businesses of suspected unsafe gun owners, but might also be public lands or other locations where guns are not handled safely, or situations where proper rights to own or use any particular type of firearm may not exist. Electronically marking these locations can help others in the area learn about their geography of risk from gun accidents or violence. No matter what your safety concern with firearms might be, you should feel free to use this tool to provide the most accurate information you can such that others can make their own safety decisions.”

Note: This app automatically accuses any gun owner entered into its system as “unsafe” or “Dangerous”.

Who does walkingtools think are dangerous gun owners? “First time gun owners or others who may not have not taken basic gun safety training, or who were not raised in a culture of gun safety, represent a real and present danger to their community, themselves and their family members. Their locations may be marked at any time.”  Here’s a question:  How would the user of this app know if someone was a new gun owner, or had not taken a gun safety course, or was a danger to the community, without behaving like a neighborhood spy?

Also: “If a gun owner…..demonstrates a cavalier attitude toward gun safety, or becomes angry when you ask about it, then the location at which they store or use their guns should be marked….”  This statement suggests that the user of the app should interrogate their neighbors, because how else would they get such a response?

Also: “….someone who frequently displays or brandishes weapons, or those reveal their gun ownership status during normal conflict resolution.”  Guess what?   I believe such threatening behavior is already illegal, so you should call the police!

Also: “….any neighbor whose children speak frequently of their parent’s gun ownership…”  Wow!  That means me and my many High School acquaintances from 1978 to 1982 would have unknowingly ratted on our parents, because we always talked about guns, including the ones we owned as teenagers!!!!   I miss my Ruger Mini-14 that I owned as a teenager, it’s a better .223 shooter that the crappy AR-15/M-4, and way easier to maintain.  Had to sell it for financial reasons (no thanks to a failing marriage). Oh well, economic times were actually better then, I can’t buy a gun now even though I want to.  I can’t believe how expensive a Ruger Mini-14 is now compared to the late 1970s, and a crappy AR-15/M-4 type is now outrageously expensive, I saw one at my local Walmart for $1500!  Back in 1982 I paid less than $600 for a new CAR-15 (short barrel/ telescoping stock).  This is the kind of stuff me and my High School buddies would talk about, but according to the Gun Geo Marker app, that makes us and our parents “Dangerous” and “unsafe”!!!   (by the way, in my 45+ years of life I’ve never been arrested for anything!!!)

Walkingtools actually instructs the user of the app to use their neighbor’s kids as spies: “Talk to your kids and their friends! Younger kids in particular will talk about the things their parents frequently discuss, and they will tend to enact parental attitudes…..is a way that you might find out about insecure weapons in your neighborhood!”

Here are more NAZIistic instructions from the walkingtools Gun Geo Marker site:

“There are many locations, such as remote public or private lands where the discharge of firearms is legal [note they said legal gun shooting sites!]. If you frequent such a location, you are likely a gun owner yourself….”

“Bumper stickers or other public displays supporting gun ownership…..combined with radical anti-government propaganda and/or….paranoid political beliefs….”

“…potential medical condition that might alter their judgment or make them unable to tell right from wrong may well be worth marking…”

“….if the site is an active location for criminal activity (for example drug dealing), then you should not involve yourself in any way.”  So are they only after non-criminals?

Finally, walkingtools admits the real purpose of their app; gun control: “If enough members of your community take the time to mark dangerous gun sites and owners, then this crowd-sourced data may serve to save a life or perhaps even influence national policy.”

Sounds to me like this will be used by police to come take your guns, because of people who can’t exist without a big brother/sister beast of a government controlling their every action.  But, you know who else would love this app?  Criminals, because in study after study repeat convicted criminals say the biggest deterrent to their criminal schemes is the possibility that a potential victim is armed with a gun!  Now they’ll know who they can safely victimize!

Government/Corporate Evil: DARPA director joining Google, more proof that Google is spying on you, PRODIGAL to be civilianized?

Regina Dugan is leaving the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency for a new job at Google.

Dugan helped create all kinds of new weapons for the so called war on terror, including internet programs to spy on our own soldiers. In December 2011, it was revealed that DARPA will spend $9 million to spy on the emails of U.S. personnel!

It’s called Proactive Discovery of Insider Threats Using Graph Analysis and Learning, or PRODIGAL.

Isn’t it interesting that three months later one of the DARPA officials behind it is now going to work for Google?

And don’t forget Regina Dugan’s own company, RedXDefense.  It’s a company totally dependent on military contracts, and totally about control freakism.

Government Evil: United States makes the official list of Human Rights violators, Corporate America to be sued for Human Rights violations!

The Obama Administration, and the Republican dominated Congress, love to use data from the United Nations to justify attacking other countries, like Libya, and soon Syria.   But, what about when the UN points the finger at the United States for Human Rights violations?   Will our leaders attack themselves?

Recently the UN’s Human Rights Council began its 19th session in Switzerland.  Of course Syria is topping their list of concerns, but guess who else is making their list (again)?  The United States!

“Over the past year, I have also expressed concerns about the rights of detainees held at Guantanamo Bay, and my deep disappointment at the failure to close this detention facility.”-Navi Pillay, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights

One of the big upsets is President Barack Obama’s reneging on his promise to close Guantanamo Bay prison.  The UN documented that in March 2011, Obama stated to the international community that the United States would close down the torture facility known as GITMO.

Sri Lanka even pointed out that they’ve closed all but one of their military run prisons, since 2011.

Some UN member countries accused the United States of violating the Human Rights of immigrants.  Ecuador even demanded action: “…time to end impunity for those who continuously violated the human rights of migrants.”

Others demanded that the United States be investigated for Human Rights violations.

“The United States was not a guardian of human rights and should reflect on its own record in committing human rights violations inside and outside the country before pointing at other countries.”-Right of Reply from North Korea

“China was gravely concerned about the failure of the United States to close down Guantanamo Bay and urged the United States to review its own human rights record before criticizing others.”-Right of Reply from China

Russia said that the so called interventions by the United States and Europe violated Human Rights: “…acts intended to protect human rights did themselves sometimes lead to mass violations, including deaths of civilian populations.” 

Cuba pointed out that the United States was violating the Right to Express yourself, by controlling the internet. They claim that only 30% of the World’s population has access to the internet, and that internet governance is directly controlled from the U.S.

Norway said the U.S. dominated internet is being used by governments to violate Human Rights.

Others pointed out an increasing desire to criminalize the use of the internet, the United States being one of those countries doing so!

William Echikson, a representative from Google, admitted that his company routinely “takes down content” and “discloses information” when ordered to by U.S. courts.

UN officials are also watching the U.S. Supreme Court case, in which people are  demanding they be allowed to sue corporations under a 223 year old U.S. law (Alien Tort Statute), that’s apparently been ignored.  The law allows people to sue international corporations for Human Rights violations, among other things.

The latest reports indicated that the pro-Corporate America judges would deny such cases!

Who Owns the Moon? United States declares no fly zone over the Moon, The New Space Race is On! Space War next?

There’s a new space race, thanks in part to Google’s Lunar X Prize, but also because the Moon is indeed full of mineral wealth.

But the new race is not for exploration, it’s for exploitation. The Moon has titanium, trace amounts of water, and rare minerals used in high tech electronics: “In our case it’d be people prospecting for the best places to mine the water, or mine the metals…”-David Gump, Astrobotic Technology

China has a lunar satellite in orbit, and hopes to put an unmanned explorer on the Moon by 2013.  India also has a satellite orbiting the Moon.

You might think Republican Newt Gingrich is crazy with his plans for U.S. domination of the Moon, but he’s not too far off from official policy!

NASA (National Aeronautics & Space Administration) issued a report (dated July 20, 2011) titled How to Protect and Preserve the Historic and Scientific Value of U.S. Government Lunar Artifacts.

It’s not just about artifacts brought back from the Moon, but it recommends that the Apollo sites on the Moon should be declared “no fly zones”, and that the U.S. must make every effort to get back to the Moon: “…we’re coming into an age of exploitation…because of the changing environment, and much more use of space by other groups…we’re beginning to think about it.”– Robert Kelso, author of NASA report

The U.S. government has also declared that the United States is the only country that should have exclusive access to the Moon, simply because it was the first to put people on the Moon!

Corporate Incompetence: Voting with your wallet works; Verizon reverses $2 fee, GoDaddy does one eighty on SOPA

A day after announcing a $2 one time bill payment credit/debit card fee, Verizon reversed course after being flooded with thousands of complaints, and threats to cancel service.

However, Verizon officials are keeping such a fee in mind for the future: “At Verizon, we take great care to listen to our customers. Based on their input, we believe the best path forward is to encourage customers to take advantage of the best and most efficient options, eliminating the need to institute the fee at this time.”– Dan Mead, Verizon CEO

GoDaddy has been losing domain names ever since it voiced support for SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act).  According to one source, 32,000 websites, in 36 hours, were transferred away from GoDaddy’s service. Keep in mind GoDaddy lost thousands of domain names even after they publicly reversed course, now officially opposing SOPA!

One reason that GoDaddy is still losing customers is because it’s involved in rogue website/domain lawsuits, in which federal courts have been using GoDaddy to hold web sites that’re being challenged in court.  Most of those sites are being transferred, by court order, from Google and Yahoo to GoDaddy.  In many of these cases the accused never have their day in U.S. courts because they live in another country.

The lesson is that consumers, like voters, must never let their guard down.  Corporate America is not working for your best interest, they’re working for their best interest.

NAZI-land: If you think SOPA is bad check out what is already happening in U.S. courts, it’s called ‘rogue website lawsuits’ and they can take all your money without you ever showing up in court! PayPal involved

The proposed Stop Online Piracy Act, or SOPA, has a lot of web users concerned, but what about what’s already taking place in U.S. Federal and State courts?  It can be called ‘rogue website/domain lawsuits’ and does not involve any true due process for those accused.  They can seize your domain name/website and any funds they claim is associated with it!

In most cases only the attorney’s for the accuser show up in court: “Nobody has showed up in any of these cases to contest his motions in court.”-Eric Goldman, associate professor of law at Santa Clara University

Attorney Eric Goldman has been following the big three cases, involving Chanel, True Religion clothing and Philip Morris.  They all claim that thousands of websites/domains are ripping them off by offering “counterfeit” products or services.  The problem is that the courts are hearing the cases without any response from those accused.

Something else that Goldman noticed is that in cases brought by Chanel and Philip Morris, only one attorney is being used; Stephen Gaffigan from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

It appears True Religion is using a law firm called Greenberg Traurig.

In one Philip Morris case their only proof was a written statement from a private investigator saying he bought fake Philip Morris cigarettes off a such ‘n such website.

Many cases involve courts sealing documents, meaning the accused, or the public, can never see what’s in them: “For example; in the True Religion case, the entire action was sealed for a couple of weeks. Even without the seal, I don’t know how to find these ex parte rightsowner enforcement cases against foreign rogue websites other than laboriously reviewing every federal filing, having readers tip us off or serendipity.”-Eric Goldman, associate professor of law at Santa Clara University

The courts are ordering websites removed from Google and Yahoo, only to be ‘given’ to GoDaddy.  They also ordered Western Union to redirect customer payments to three individuals.  PayPal has also been forced to freeze at least 84 accounts.

These cases involve hundreds of websites/domains, and some of the cases specifically name Chinese individuals.  While they might have merit, the problem is that the courts have established the practice of rendering judgment without the accused having their day in court, or even allowing an appeal.

What Economic Recovery? Netflix says 2012 will be so bad they will not make any profits. Looking to investors to float them. Blame competition & inflation

Netflix announced on November 21, that they do not expect to make a profit in 2012.  The on demand movie service went from having $366 million in cash, to almost nothing predicted for 2012.

Netflix officials blame it on several things; a huge subscriber loss, increased competition and a huge jump in licensing fees (inflation).

Like most of Corporate America, Netflix thought it could trick its customers into paying more for less. It backfired, company officials now estimate they will lose one million subscribers as a result.

Netflix says it’s seeing a jump in competition, not just from Hulu and Redbox, but from Amazon and Google.

Now comes the licensing fees.  In 2010 Netflix paid $180 million, now that’s jumped to $2 billion for 2012!!!  Company officials say they can not pay the fee upfront and will have to spread payments out over several years.

Under text book economic rules Netflix should pass on the increased licensing fees to its customers, but they already tried that and lost a huge amount of customers.  Netflix will try to ride out 2012 by issuing a crap load of stocks and bonds.  They hope they can get investors to buy at least $400 million worth of stocks and bonds, even though they admit they’re not going to make any profit for 2012.
