Over the weekend of 13-15 OCT 2017 a WMD training event was held in southeast Idaho.  It took place near the small city, and supposedly Idaho’s “Oldest Town”, of Franklin (located southeast of Napoleon Dynamite’s city of Preston) and involved the Franklin County Emergency Medical Services, Utah’s Davis County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team and Utah Air National Guard 151st Medical Detachment-1’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and high-yield Explosive (CBRNE) Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) team.

An investigation into the mysterious fire, that claimed the life of the first female M1A1 Abrams tanker in U.S. history, concluded it was the result of an explosion.

The fire happened on 30 JUN 2017, at the Tamarack Resort in Idaho.  Four people were killed; Master Sergeant Erin Smith and her daughter, another Idaho Guardsmen James Harper and his son.  Smith’s husband survived.

The investigators say the fireplace in the resort cabin was at one time fueled by propane.  It was converted to wood fuel but for some reason the propane line was left in place, and apparently still flowing the gas.  However, they’re calling it an accident.  No comment was made concerning who converted the fireplace from propane to wood fuel.

Idaho Army National Guard is serving in eight of nine global regions designated by the U.S. Department of Defense.   Besides taking part in war-games across the United States, for fiscal year 2017 Idaho Army National Guard personnel will spend time in Bangladesh, Cambodia,  Canada, Germany, Guatemala, Korea, Malaysia, Morocco, Nepal, Romania, Taiwan and Tanzania.

The U.S. Virgin Islands has its own National Guard unit, but it’s not enough to deal with Irma.  They’ve been operating at least five Point of Distribution (PoD) centers for several days now, handing supplies to thousands of people in the U.S. territory.

Fracking quake swarm hits east Idaho?

Update, 11 SEP 2017:  U.S. Geological Survey reports as of 10 SEP 2017 more than 260 earthquakes rocked Caribou County, Idaho!  The USGS believes the quakes will continue but gave no reason why. A professor at Idaho State University claims the swarm quakes are “a whole series of aftershocks”.    USGS quake data is higher than reported by University of Utah, which operates its own seismograph stations independent of the USGS.

A swarm of earthquakes that hit an area east of the rural east-Idaho city of Soda Springs (at least 58 in less than 24 hours) fits the M-O of what the U.S. Geological Survey calls Induced Earthquakes caused by the oil industry’s hydraulic fracturing (fracking).

The individual quakes ranged in magnitude of 2.5 to 5.3, beginning in the late afternoon on 02 SEP 2017 and continuing until late afternoon the next day.   The same area was hit by quakes in October 2016.

In 2016 the Idaho Department of Lands swore that no fracking was taking place in The Gem State, or at least no applications for fracking had been submitted.   Even local news media blow off the skyrocketing quake swarms as signs the supervolcano Yellowstone is coming back to life.  However, I’ve been tracking these swarms for a few years and noticed they coincide with the resumption of petroleum exploration, including fracking.

One of my old Guard alma maters returned from mission Keris Strike in Pahang, Malaysia.

1st Battalion of the 148th Field Artillery Regiment, based in Pocatello, Idaho, was in Malaysia for a ten days war game (I mean natural disaster response training) connected to United Nations’ military ops (so called UN Peace Keeping) and led by the U.S. Army-Pacific Command.

The 1-148th Field Artillery Regiment is part of the Idaho Army National Guard’s 116th Calvary Brigade Combat Team (I served both with 1-148 as a 13F in Pocatello, and with 2-116 as a 19K in Burley). The unit has artillery batteries located in Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Rigby, Blackfoot, Rexburg, Preston, Saint Anthony and Burley.

According to Wikipedia, Malaysia has a lot of petroleum oil.  The state run oil company Petronas is the 69th largest company in the world and generates 30% of the Malaysian government’s income.  Malaysia also sits in the militarily and economically strategic ocean going trade route called Strait of Malacca, which sees most of the world’s Middle East oil shipments by sea.

The sky around eastern Idaho is socked in with smoke as the 2017-18 wildfire season roars up (I don’t think I’ve ever seen it so smokey around here, and I’ve been here 20 years).  The water bombing aircraft based at Pocatello Airport were busy during daylight; non-stop landings, reloading, take-offs, for hours on-end until dark.

There are two main lies being propagated by unAmerican corporate America (and the government that supports those corporations): Not enough ‘qualified’ U.S. citizens to fill vacant positions, and internet competition.

On 20 July 2017, Mitt Romney co-founded wunderkind Staples announced they will shutdown their Pocatello, Idaho, location in August.  They blame “customers” for shopping online.

Remember, Staples sells online as well as in brick-n-mortar stores.

I’ve pointed out before that online sales aren’t that big.  Just this year Karen Edwards, instructor at University of South Carolina’s College of Hospitality Retailing and Sport Management, stated to local news media that internet sales make up only 10%-15% of all U.S. retail sales!  This is really part of a conspiracy by the retail industry to shift to internet only operations, mainly because the cost of operating a brick-n-mortar store (especially rent and utilities) now outweighs sales at those stores.

Idaho Mormon politician says you don’t need healthcare!

In May 2017,  god was completely powerless to stop ‘his’ mormon ‘elected’ U.S. congressman Raúl Rafael Labrador from stating “Nobody dies because they don’t have access to healthcare.”

In a video taken in a church(?) where mormon (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, LDS) Labrador was taking ‘town hall’ questions from the public, he was asked many questions about the poor quality of healthcare for low income people in the United States.  Not only did Labrador claim the U.S. has the best healthcare in the world for poor people (proven to be false by the United Nations World Health Organization) but he added “Nobody dies because they don’t have access to healthcare.” 

I personally know somebody who died because she was refused access to healthcare, and she had insurance!  She was suffering from delusions and physical problems caused by her prescription meds.  She was the mother of my children, and my son and I took her to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for emergency help.  The ER staff told us they believed she was suffering as a result of addiction to her meds and under Idaho law they could and did refuse medical help.  They kept saying “she won’t die”, the next morning she was found dead in her mobile-home by the mobile-home park manager, and a nurse that admitted to me that she was personally concerned by her condition and for some reason was compelled to check on her that next morning.  My adult children tried to get legal help but were told that unless it was an “open and shut case” the laws in Idaho made it almost impossible to sue the healthcare industry.  Lawyers were willing to take the case if my children paid cash up front, but being a poor family that ain’t gonna happen.  So to all you ‘christians’ who say ‘nobody dies from lack of healthcare’ I say I hope there is a Hell and you burn in it forever!

In 2016, Kenneth Krell, director of Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, testified to state politicians that Idaho’s version of ObamaCare is being directly blamed for the deaths of 1-thousand Idahoans since 2013, by denying access to healthcare: “And I kept asking myself, how could this be? How, in a state like Idaho where we care about each other, could I be seeing deaths and really damaging illness on a nearly daily basis as a result of failure to expand Medicaid that cost tangible lives? It’s difficult to understand.” 

By the way, idiot mormon Labrador is hoping to be ‘elected’ the next govna of Idaho!

1st ever U.S. PanzerFräulein killed by mystery fire!

In June of 2016, Erin Smith became not only Idaho National Guard’s first ever M1 tanker (MOS 19K), but the first ever female tanker in U.S. history!  One year later (30 JUN 2017) Master Sergeant Erin Smith, along with her daughter, and two other people, died in a house fire at the Tamarack Resort in Valley County, Idaho.

The resort ‘cabin’ was being used by three National Guard personnel;  James Harper the Third, Erin Smith and her husband William Smith.  James Harper brought his son and the Smith’s brought their daughter on pre-4th of July weekend vacation.

Investigators say the house was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, they suspect a propane (aka Tricarbane, a type of LNG) fueled fireplace is the origin of the blaze.  William Smith was the only one to survive.
