Ethiopia invades Korea?

“We knew there was going to be sacrifice. But this sacrifice was not for nothing. It was for peace and liberty. My friends, they gave their lives for history and for the freedom of human beings…. In America, young people are going to forget the Korean War…”-Melesse Tessema, Kagnew Battalions veteran

Back when the Horn of Africa country of Ethiopia was still ruled by a monarchy, and having survived the Italian occupation during the Second World War, they decided it would be fun to join the new United Nations (UN) in its ‘police action’ in the divided East Asian country of Korea.

U.S. Army photo, 1951.

The Ethiopian troops sent to Korea were called the Kagnew Battalions.  It was the first time Ethiopians were involved in combat outside of their country.  It was also the first time Ethiopian soldiers encountered snow and ice: “I remember the snow and the cold. We were really suffering in the war because of the cold.”-Asfaw Abebe, Kagnew Battalions veteran

Apparently, of all the UN allied nations volunteering to go to Korea, Ethiopia was the first (besides the U.S.) to send complete battalion sized elements.  However, they were equipped with ‘new’ U.S. (World War Two surplus) weapons and vehicles: “We went with Americans to the front line and fought together. From that, we helped a great nation, Korea, to survive…. When you went on patrol, you depended on (U.S.) support for artillery and air support…. The longest fight I saw was Triangle Hill, almost a month we were fighting on that one, you could see bodies rolling down to the bottom. A great fight was done there. We fought continuously day and night.”-Yilma Belachew, Kagnew Battalions veteran

During that ‘police action’ all UN allied vehicles were marked with white stars, U.S. style.  U.S. Army silent film, by Sergeant T. Lau, showing Kagnew Battalions inspecting their U.S. taxpayer funded jeeps, August 1951:

According to United Kingdom sources, more than 3-thousand Ethiopians went to Korea, more than 120 were killed, more than 5-hundred were wounded.

This Arirang News video report says the actual number of Ethiopians who fought in Korea is 6-thousand (despite the official number being accepted as 3,520), and that South Korea is sending taxpayer funding to help build infrastructure projects in Ethiopia:

Even communist North Korea does business with Ethiopia, yearly exports hit 15-million U.S. dollars worth in 2012!

Korean news sources say the Ethiopians began arriving in April 1951. They took part in 236 battles and claimed victory in every one. They ended the war without one Ethiopian becoming a PoW (prisoner of war).

South China Morning Post/Associated Press reports that on 10APR2022, the People’s Liberation Army-Air Force flew six of their relatively new Y20 transport aircraft, through NATO airspace (Turkey and Bulgaria), packed with military equipment, to the traditional ally of Russia; Serbia.

PLA photo by Su Feng, 26APR2021.

The report claims the six Y-20s delivered Chinese made HQ-22/FK-3 antiaircraft missile systems.  Communist China’s Y-20s landed at the Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade. Associated Press says Serbian officials refused to comment.

PLA photo by Liu Shu, 04JAN2021.

The Serbian government purchased the HQ-22/FK-3 missile system in 2019, the United States government protested the purchase in 2020.

PLA photo by Liu Shu, 04JAN2021.

China claims the shipment of the HQ-22/FK-3 system, using six fuel guzzling air-transports, was just about delivering “regular military supplies”.

Interestingly, in the past day Serbia has announced intentions to buy fighter-jets from NATO France and drones from NATO Turkey.

In this video report, dated 07MAR2022, a Y-20 pilot states that civilian airports in China must be ‘upgraded’ to support military aircraft, in the name of disaster response:

The Y-20 made its first flight in 2013 and reported for duty with the PLA-Air Force on 06JUL2016. Video report dated 26JAN2022, about the 9th Anniversary of the Y-20’s first flight:

The Y-20 has also made global deliveries of China’s anti-Pandemic vaccine, as well as other Pandemic “prevention and control materials”.

U.S. World War Two documentary says Ukraine & Crimea are Russian!

10 April 2022  (22:53-UTC-07 Tango 06) 21 Farvardin 1401/08 Ramadan 1443/10 Jia Chen 4720

During World War Two, the United States government commissioned the creation of an anti-German/Japanese documentary called Why We Fight, supervised by Hollywood legend Frank Capra.  The first episode focused on explaining the military history of Russia leading up to the Second World War.  This included the Battle of Poltava, Poltava is a major city in Ukraine. It also mentions the Russian state of Ukraine and the Crimea during the First World War, saying “And only the ultimate collapse of Imperial Germany saved Russia from losing the Ukraine and Crimea.”

Here is an excerpt from the first episode of Why We Fight, up to the Battle of Poltava:

Here is an excerpt from the first episode of Why We Fight, including the part where it is stated that Ukraine and Crimea are Russian, and ends by saying “Yes, for seven hundred years Russian people have had to fight, to defend their land against would be conquerors. Why? Why have all these attempts been made to conquer Russia?”:

In this excerpt, Why We Fight explains the true reason why Russia is the target of global control freaks; natural resources:

Why We Fight also focuses on the people of Russia, referencing Ukraine and its residents as “Little Russians”:

The Why We Fight documentary series was the result of the U.S. Congress voting to force men into the military by drafting them (yes, despite what we are told, at least half the people of the U.S. were anti-war).  Through their own surveys, the U.S. War Department knew that even with a draft they would have a hard time building their forces, so they commissioned Hollywood to create a propaganda film series called Why We Fight.

Today, why do they still fight over Russia/Ukraine?

1989 7.3IDI Diesel Ambulance Cold Start

My daughter Aryssa made this ‘cold start’ video of my 1989 International Harvester powered 7.3IDI diesel ambulance.

For most of the 1990s it was used by at least two ambulance services in the Salt Lake City area of Utah.

You can barely see the residue from the Idaho State University logo on the side of the ‘box’.

Then it was used by my Alma Mater (Idaho State University) as a ‘static’ vehicle (because it did not run) for EMS training from about 1998 to 2012 or maybe 2015, then was left to rot in their vehicle maintenance yard. I bought it for $750 in 2019. I replaced the fuel, engine oil, fan belts, found an air cleaner assembly (the original was missing), bought a new expensive oil dip stick (the original was broken in half), new batteries (it takes two), and new tires (6 expensive tires that cost more than what I paid for the ambulance). It runs strong, and several diesel mechanics told me the 50-thousand miles on the odo-meter is correct.

I also replaced the forward facing red lenses with amber lenses.  I’m still struggling to figure out why the tail lights suddenly went haywire after I got the new tires (they come on, but randomly and they do weird things when I step on the brake pedal and have the turn signal on). Replaced two flashers, checked all the bulbs, fuses are good, tearing apart the steering column now to see if the wiring in there is still good.

On 23FEB2022, U.S. taxpayer funded, Israeli designed, 120mm mortar illumination rounds were given to Peshmerga.  The U.S. Army switched to the Israeli designed rounds in the 1990s.  They were tested on U.S. Army bases in Arizona and Utah.  Illumination rounds typically contain minerals like phosphorus, which burn when exposed to air. All militaries around the world use such illumination rounds, as long as they are not intentionally used as ‘weapons’ they can avoid the international ban on phosphorus weapons.
