During the Cold War, Yugoslavia developed their own version of the Soviet T-72, using NATO targeting systems, called the M-84. Now, Serbia is using the new MS (MC in Serbian Cyrillic) version of the T-72.

The Serbian Defense Ministry claims the T-72MS is a joint development between Russia and Serbia. However, all 30 T-72MS tanks were made in Russia. They are described as having ‘special protections’, and is basically an upgraded T-72B1. The deal was announced in 2019, with the first Serbian ‘White Eagles’ arriving towards the end of Gregorian 2020.

On 28NOV2022, as many as 1-hundred Greek vendors attended the Thessaloniki Vendor Outreach Fair, put-on by the United States Army, and the U.S. Consulate General, and the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was a workshop to teach local Greek businesses how to get their share of the U.S. taxpayer funded military-civilian contracting system.

The U.S. Army’s 266th Finance Support Center admitted that already $2-billion worth of contracts have been issued to Greek contractors since the Ukraine Crisis started, in 2014 (remember, the U.S./NATO instigated coup in Ukraine where U.S. politicians, both left & right, actually went to Ukraine and egged-on the coup leaders)!

Since that 2014 coup, U.S. led NATO launched Operation Atlantic Resolve, ostensibly to counter ‘Russian aggression’. NATO-Greece became a major port of disembarkation for the U.S.-NATO forces assigned to Atlantic Resolve: “We’ve been doing this at Alexandroupoli for years now. This meeting was helpful… because they received all the guidance they need to get registered and examine the platforms the U.S. government uses. This is always good, to get local business involved with the military operation. We have the approval of the community because they gain something. The U.S. Army revealed that troop and material shipments through Greece will only increase, and that more permanent operations are planned, meaning even more taxpayer funded business for Greek vendors: “The continued increase of U.S. and NATO presence at Alexandroupoli, has leveraged positive impacts to the community, bolstering the economy to include jobs. On 17DEC2022, North Carolina Army National Guard’s 2-130th Airfield Operations Battalion held a deployment ceremony, in Salisbury. They are deploying to support operations of the U.S. Africa Command (AfriCom).

About 25 administrative soldiers (Financial Management Technicians) are deploying in 2023 for Operation Inherent Resolve, the apparently never ending war against so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (and other places).

Don’t forget, another North Carolina Army National Guard unit, the 258th Engineer Utilities Detachment, held a deployment party in November, they are also deploying in 2023, not to the Middle East but to the African continent.

The North Carolina National Guard, in 2022, deployed multiple units for federal missions in Europe, The Middle East, and Antarctica, and 560 Soldiers and Airmen spent a total of 9-thousand-355 days on State Active Duty.

In August 2020, the Serbian Armed Forces announced a “major step forward” with the full production of a new 8×8 Armored Personnel Carrier (APC); the Lazar-3.

The motor is located in the front. The armor is claimed to be of ‘modern’ type, which includes anti-mine armor. The vehicle is air conditioned. Maximum speed is 110-kilometers per hour. It can drive a 60% gradient, a 30% side slope, overcome half-meter tall vertical obstacles, cross 2-meter trenches, and ford 1.6-meter deep water obstacles.

Cold War Vehicle I-D: Ultimate Gun-Truck, 20mm Vulcan

In the mid-1980s, a company called Standard Manufacturing (not to be confused with today’s firearms manufacturer of the same name) created what might be the ultimate ‘gun-truck’; the Excalibur, armed with a 20mm Vulcan gun.

The photos were taken on Fort Eustis, Virginia, in May 1985. It was then that the U.S. Army (USA) held a technology exposition called Progress in Logistics, officially called ProLog ’85.

The Vulcan gun was used for anti-aircraft defense. The Excalibur had a patented independent suspension system, was lighter and faster than the M113 based Vulcan gun system.

The original Excalibur Vulcan gun system was a tracked vehicle proposal (based on the M551 Sheridan) in the early 1970s, by a company called Sperry. Sperry ceased to exist in 1986.

Apparently the USA decided to go with its then new HMMWV M998, towing a Vulcan gun, as a lighter weight anti-aircraft gun system, just in time for Desert Storm.

Ever hear of the non-governmental organization (NGO) EcoHealth Alliance? Most people haven’t, but on 06DEC2022 a former vice president of the NGO released a ‘tell-all’ book about how taxpayer funded EcoHealth Alliance was directly involved with gain-of-function at the Wuhan Lab in China!

Andrew G. Huff, the former VP of the NGO, who is also a disease specialist (epidemiologist), and a U.S. military veteran, stated in his book “The U.S. government is to blame for the transfer of dangerous biotechnology to the Chinese.I was terrified by what I saw. We were just handing them bioweapon technology.”

The book is titled The Truth About Wuhan.

To be fair, on 05DEC2022 EcoHealth Alliance issued a statement about the damning book, essentially call it a lie, and calling the author a liar. They also refer to the former VP as just an “employee” who worked for them for a couple of years.

EcoHealth Alliance was founded by a United Kingdom born scientist who has a passion for what we now know of as Gain-of-Function; the intentional laboratory manipulation of natural diseases to make them more powerful. The excuse has always been that by doing so you could prepare for a disease’s natural evolution (mutation) into new strains. This has never been proven!

Peter Daszak not only founded EcoHealth Alliance, but is still the current president. The NGO is based in New York City. Daszak helped the Wuhan Lab get U.S. taxpayer funding, yet adamantly denied his organization was doing anything wrong. However, just days after the book The Truth About Wuhan was released, Daszak proudly published photos and videos of he and his EcoHealth Alliance team capturing bats in Thailand.

South East Asia (including Thailand and Cambodia) is known as the region with the highest concentration of coronavirus infected bats!

In October 2022, the U.S. National Academy of Medicine (NAM) claimed there was no evidence that Daszak had violated their ‘code of conduct’. Realize that gain-of-function does not violate most scientific codes of conduct!

In November 2021, the journal Science revealed EcoHealth Alliance’s history of taxpayer funding, and how the Trump Administration canceled the funding as soon as it was connected to Wuhan, yet the author of the article still considers Daszak a “prophet”!

Cold War Vehicle I-D: Vulcan, 70 years later!

Cold War: Approximately 1947 (due to U.S. President Harry Truman’s Truman Doctrine) to 1991 (Operation Desert Storm, collapse of Soviet Union).

The Avro Vulcan was a Cold war era NATO-United Kingdom nuclear bomber, first flying in 1952 (70 years ago).

By 1968, the Royal Air Force (RAF) realized the bomber, intended to carry nuclear bombs, was not able to reach targets inside the Soviet Union as a ‘strategic bomber’. In the 1970s it acted as a tactical nuclear bomber. By the 1980s it switched to carrying conventional bombs and missiles.

In 1982, the Vulcan was finally used in combat, during the Falkland/Malvinas War (40 years ago).

Vulcan B.2 XH558 retired from military service in 1992, marking the end of the undeclared Cold War. It was operated by a private organization for air shows, until 2015.

Vehicle I-D: Canada’s British Empire M113, not your Uncle Sam’s M113

Canada began using the original M113A1 (Diesel powered version) in the late 1960s, it is not to be confused with the earlier M113 Command & Recon Lynx, which was a shortened, lightweight version of the gasoline powered M113.

The original M113 was developed by the United States based FMC, then continued under United Defense, then taken over by the British empire’s BAE Systems. The BAE upgraded M113s are known as Mobile Tactical Vehicle Light (MTVL), or also as Tracked Light Armoured Vehicle (TLAV). And to confuse you even more, each ‘fit-out’ (version) of the MTVL/TLAV has its own special acronym.

A major visual difference between a new NATO-Canadian M113 and the old NATO-U.S. M113 can be seen in the types of tracks and drive sprockets used, and the fact that they have six roadwheels as opposed to the U.S. M113s with five roadwheels!
