May 2023 is National Beef Month. Here is yet more incomplete list of links to recent news reports, and video reports, affecting the cattle/beef/dairy supply in the United States.
Did you know that nine states have more cows than people? Apparently the most recent U.S. Census of Agriculture data claims they are Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wyoming.

Boise based Micron started life in 1978. My first experience with Micron was in the Idaho Army National Guard, in the mid 1990s. Micron was supplying complete computer systems to the military, most of which were used for administrative tasks. Micron made a variety of computer products, but it seems that in the early 2000s company leaders decided to focus on computer memory (microchips, semiconductors), and stopped making complete systems. In the two-thousand-teens, more than a thousand Micron employees in the Boise metro-area were laid-off as Micron focused on taking over global competitors in the memory chip world.
Micron’s Boise operations are now so massive you literally need a vehicle to get around the campus.
Today, Micron is considered to be the leading memory maker in the United States, with operations in more than eight other countries, and it is now considered a national security threat by The People’s Republic of China (communist China).
Here is an incomplete list of links to the latest reports about the global influence of Idaho’s Micron Technology:
Micron Technology, the world’s fourth-largest semiconductor manufacturer, began eliminating jobs in Taiwan, February 2023. Micron is the largest foreign employer in Taiwan (Republic of China):
.
In October 2022, Micron took advantage of taxpayer funded government grants to bring production to the evil state of New York:

2018:
In August, Micron gave a video tour of their operations in Japan:
In February 2023, the state of Arizona put under consideration a similar bill (HB2762) to mandate that consumers be notified if the meat they were buying had mRNA!
But record levels of snow also hit Bannock County, where I live. According to the National Weather Service, the cities of Chubbuck and Pocatello (both in Bannock County) got at least 19 inches of snow. Since 01APR2023, several towns and cities through out East Idaho and Southeast Idaho set new snow records.

“The F-15QA aircraft is the most advanced version of the fighter ever built. It brings to its operators next-generation technologies such as fly-by-wire flight controls, digital cockpit, modernized sensors, radar, and electronic warfare capabilities, and the world’s fastest mission computer. Increases in reliability, sustainability and maintainability allow defense operators to affordably remain ahead of current and evolving threats. The F-15QA’s advances will enable it to bolster the U.S. and allied coalition’s ability to project lethal force and protect allied forces and locations.”-Boeing
Essentially, the F-15QA is a Qatari version of the new F-15EX.

On 14MAR2023, the military leaders of the Qatar Emiri Air Force paid a visit to Mountain Home Air Force Base (AFB), in Southern Idaho. The purpose of the visit was to scout-out a new U.S. based home for a Qatari Air Force unit!

This is connected to Qatar’s recent purchase of the new Boeing F-15QA. The F-15QA is a new Eagle built specifically for Qatar. In 2017, Qatar ordered 36 F-15QAs. It is also known as the Falcon-5.

“The Biden rule would lead to sweeping changes to the federal government’s authority to regulate what is considered a navigable water, with enormous impacts on small businesses, manufacturers, farmers, home and infrastructure builders, local communities, water districts, and private property owners. Cloaked under the guise of clean water, all this rule does is expand the federal government’s control over states, localities, and private landowners, making it harder to farm, build, and generate economic prosperity. I encourage the Senate to pass this commonsense resolution to push back against onerous rules like this one.”–Sam Graves, U.S. House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee
What is WOTUS? Waters of the United States (WOTUS) is part of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Clean Water Act (CWA), it determines which water, and water conveyances, fall under federal and state control.
WOTUS is also known as the Clean Water Rule (CWR-2015) of 2015. CWR-2015 is an attempt by both the EPA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to clarify federal regulations regarding water usage by industry, academia and individual citizens. President Joseph Robinette Biden Junior altered the CWR-2015/WOTUS, the new rule goes into effect on 20MAR2023. However, on 09MAR2023 the U.S. House of Representatives voted to block (227 to 198) what is now called The Biden WOTUS Rule.
The U.S. Senate is also poised to block The Biden WOTUS Rule, but Biden has vowed he will veto any such blocks upon his version of WOTUS!
The Biden WOTUS Rule is the result of a more than a decade long federal lawsuit brought by an Idaho couple against the EPA and USACE, in 2008. In October2022, the federal Supreme Court heard arguments, for a second time, concerning the lawsuit, the Court is supposed to make a decision in early 2023.
Biden’s WOTUS Rule was finalized on 30DEC2022. One controversial rule says that water ‘adjacent’ to ‘protected’ water is subject to the new WOTUS, there was no wording clarifying any amount of distance from such ‘protected’ water. Another rule states that ‘permanent’ flows of water in local ditches, waste water treatment ponds, artificially created lakes or ponds, are now under the control of the EPA! The new WOTUS uses ‘environmental justice’ as an excuse to take control of local water, restricting industries including food production!

Many Idahoans don’t know that recently The Gem State was invaded by NATO units from Germany, they were busy calling in airstrikes on Southern Idaho!

From 11FEB2023 to 22FEB2023, artillery forward observers from NATO-Germany occupied the Saylor Creek Range, practicing calling in airstrikes by Idaho Air National Guard 124th Fighter Wing/190th Fighter Squadron’s A-10C Thunderbolt-2s.

Apparently the cost of dental work is so sky-high and hard to come-by (since The Pandemic) that the Idaho Army National Guard now offers free dental services to its militia members!
Idaho National Guard public relations employee, Crystal Farris, reported that on 05MAR2023 The Gem State’s militia opened its first Field Dental Treatment Facility on Gowen Field (part of the Boise airport complex).

The official reasoning is to increase the medical readiness of Guard units for future deployments (never mind that Idaho has been taking part in revolving door deployments for years, and currently has combat troops in Syria!): “Now we have the ability to complete exams and provide limited treatment. This allows Soldiers to receive dental care within our dedicated dental treatment rooms on Gowen Field rather than sending them to a civilian provider at a later time for follow-up care.”-Captain Trey Wanty, Deputy State Surgeon
Also, it turns out that ‘contracting’ with civilian dentists was not saving taxpayers any money! Idaho joins Arizona, and Nebraska, in taking part in the new federal National Guard Bureau’s Limited Dental Treatment Program: “When the National Guard Bureau asked which states wanted to become a pilot state in this program our state’s leadership jumped at the opportunity. It is going to save our organization significant money, while also providing our Soldiers quicker assistance and improving our medical readiness.”-Captain Trey Wanty, Deputy State Surgeon
The new Limited Dental Treatment Program does not apply to militia members in the Tricare (apparently Tricare is not an acronym, it is a made-up name for a Department of Defense healthcare system) program, and does not offer dental services requiring sedation.
