The U.S. Department of State warns U.S. citizens traveling to or living in Turkey that the U.S. Consulate General in Adana has been authorized to draw down its non-emergency staff and family members because of threats against U.S. government facilities and personnel. The Department of State recommends that U.S. citizens defer non-essential travel to southeastern Turkey.

On September 6, the Department of State permitted the drawdown of U.S. government non-emergency personnel and family members from the U.S. Consulate General in Adana, Turkey. U.S. citizens seeking to depart Turkey are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. There are no plans for charter flights or other U.S. government-sponsored evacuations.

U.S. citizens traveling to or residing in Turkey should be alert to the potential for violence. We strongly urge U.S. citizens to avoid demonstrations and large gatherings. Even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and escalate into violence. There have been no direct attacks on U.S. citizens………..

On September 6, the Department of State drew down non-emergency personnel and family members from Embassy Beirut due to potential threats to U.S. Mission facilities and personnel.  The Department of State urges U.S. citizens to avoid all travel to Lebanon because of current safety and security concerns.  U.S. citizens living and working in Lebanon should understand that they accept risks in remaining and should carefully consider those risks.

U.S. citizens concerned for their safety should consider making plans to depart by commercial means.  U.S. citizens will be responsible for arranging their own travel out of Lebanon.  Beirut International Airport is open and commercial flights are operating.  Travelers should check with their airlines prior to traveling to verify the flight schedule.  

Those who remain should prepare to depart at short notice.  This includes ensuring that travel documents for all family members are available and up to date.  U.S. citizens with valid passports and foreign dependents with valid passports or visas should not/not contact the Embassy for travel arrangements.  Rather, they should make their own arrangements directly with transportation companies or travel agents.

U.S. citizens should be aware that the Embassy does not offer “protection” services to individuals who feel unsafe.  U.S. citizens with special medical or other needs should be aware of the risks of remaining in Lebanon given their condition and should be prepared to seek treatment in Lebanon if they cannot arrange for travel out of the country. U.S. citizens traveling or residing in Lebanon who choose to remain should be aware that the U.S. Embassy’s ability to reach all areas of Lebanon is limited.  The Embassy urges all U.S. citizens in Lebanon to monitor the media for the latest developments.

There are no plans to conduct a U.S. government-sponsored evacuation at this time……..Evacuation assistance is provided on a cost-recovery basis, which means the traveler must reimburse the U.S. government for travel costs………

As staff levels at the Embassy are restricted, our ability to assist U.S. citizens in an emergency and provide routine consular services is limited and may be further constrained by the fluid security situation.  The safety of our visitors and staff is our highest priority.  Due to disruptions caused by the current environment, consular services could experience unusual delays……..

World War 3, West Asian Front: Italy evacuating citizens from Lebanon, in preps for war with Syria!

Italy’s new destroyer, Andrea Doria, along with the frigate Maestrale, has been deployed to Lebanon to evacuate Italian citizens.

The crews of the Andrea Doria and Maestrale will also conduct coastal recon of Syria.   There are already 11-hundred Italian troops taking part in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.

Officially Italian leaders say they will not act militarily against Syria, unless there is a mandate from the UN.

Unconfirmed reports that Jordan’s Hashemite King, Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein, ordered the arrest of several mid-level army officers, for refusing to co-operate with U.S. CIA!

At least six colonels, and four other officers, were arrested after giving CIA spys false info about their Syrian friends.  The Jordanian officers have contacts with their Syrian counterparts and the report says CIA agents demanded they use those contacts to collect intell for the United States.

World War 3, Asian Front-Afghanistan, 26-27 August 2013: China makes new demands for Afghan copper! More U.S. airstrikes!

ISAF reported “An International Security Assistance Force service member died following an improvised explosive device attack in Southern Afghanistan today.”  

Ghazni Province, Mujahideen report that after 13 days of battles they’ve taken control of Zana Khan District. In Gilan District, Mujahideen report that U.S. led forces tried to retake the district.  One civilian and one Mujahid killed.  Mujahideen say they killed eight of the invaders.

Maidan Wardak Province, yet again U.S./NATO forces bombed a police checkpoint.  According to the governor one cop was killed and five wounded.  No comment from U.S.officials.  Mujahideen say they witnessed the U.S. airstrike on the cops.  They say seven cops were killed and five wounded.

Kapisa Province, Tagab District, Mujahideen attacked an Afghan National Army base.  A suicide car bomber blew himself while trying to crash the gates.  A six hours gun battle followed.  One ANA soldier killed, two wounded and two local cops were wounded.  Four Mujahideen killed.  That’s according to Afghan government sources.  Mujahideen claim that at least 50 people were killed.

Kunar Province, Watapur District, reports that U.S./NATO air forces bombed a village during the night.  At least seven people killed.

Kandahar Province, Ghorak District, reports that U.S. led forces conducted Israeli style home invasions in Weshtan village over a two days period.  People were beaten, valuables taken and at least five people kidnapped.

Nangarhar Province, Jalalabad City, U.S. led forces conducted an Israeli style home invasion, kidnapping three people.

Kabul Province, Kabul City, a suicide bomber tried to enter the compound of the Ministry of Interior Affairs.  He was shot and killed, yet his bomb exploded anyway.  Local police did not report any casualties.

At least 19 cops joined the Mujahideen in Faryab, Kandahar, Zabul and Uruzgan provinces.

Afghanistan’s Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation reporting 12 people killed in connection with infrastructure projects.  President Hamid Karzai said it was a foreign plot to keep Afghanistan “impoverished and underdeveloped”.  However, Mujahideen admit they killed six of the people.

The China Metallurgical Group and Jiangxi Copper are demanding a revision of their copper mining contracts with the government of Afghanistan.  The current agreement requires the Chinese to build a new power plant, copper smelter and railway.  The Chinese companies now say they can not afford to build the power plant, smelter and railroad. The copper deal is estimated to be worth $3 billion USD.

Turkish TV news reports showed convoys of wheeled army vehicles heading towards two locations along the border with Syria.  The reports also said that six military field hospitals were set up.

Reports said among the vehicles were NBC (Nuclear Biological Chemical) detection vehicles.  I also identified tactical recon, radar equipped and anti-aircraft vehicles armed with heat seeking Stinger or Sidewinder type missiles.

World War 3, U.S. Economic Front: Another study shows dumb ‘mericans are like frogs in boiling pots! Youth are income delusional!

Recently Gallup conducted a survey to see how much money most people in the U.S. think they make.  58% said they are making more money now than five years ago!

A study by Sentier Reseach (Household Income On the Fourth Anniversary of the Economic Recovery: June 2009 to June 2013) says yes and no.  It depends on who you are.

Lets break down the study’s government supplied data:  Since the official ‘end’ of the recession in 2009, incomes of people with no more than a high school education actually dropped 9.3%.  The average person with a two year college degree saw a drop of 8.6%.  People with four years of college saw an income drop of 6.5%.  People living in the West, South and Northeast are experiencing reduction in average incomes.

So actually most working age people in the U.S. are making less money than they did at the official end of the Great Recession, just four years ago!

Who saw an increase in income?  People ages 65 to 74 saw an increase of 5.1%.  People 75 years or older had no change in income levels.  People living in the Midwest (and still employed) had no change to average incomes.

The recent Gallup survey also showed 46% of people said they were making less money, and 18% claimed no change in their incomes.

The Sentier report and the Gallup poll shows that young ‘mericans are the dumbest frogs in the slowly boiling over pot.  Gallup reports that 55% of young adults think they’re making more money now, yet, the Sentier study shows that average incomes for people under age 25 dropped 9.6%.  Incomes dropped 4.5% for people 25 to 34 years old.  Clearly the young adults of America are income delusional.  Researchers say this is because young workers have yet to develop the ability to gauge the affects of inflation on their incomes (basically when they get a piddly pay raise they think they’re makin’ big money).

World War 3, U.S. Economic Front: Expert study says economic life will suck in the U.S. until the year 2050!

A Cornell University economist, Richard Burkhauser, and economist Jeff Larrimore, of the Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation, say the average paychecks are going to remain low for at least the next 30 years!

The Russel Sage Foundation will publish the complete study soon.  It’s part of their U.S. 2010 project, in conjunction with Brown University.

The income trends study looks at actual incomes from 1979 to now, then projects where they will be until the Gregorian year 2050.  The study is yet another confirmation that paychecks for the average person in the United States have been getting smaller, not bigger.  (the IRS has confirmed this with its own studies based on tax returns)

The study warns that things are going to get worse for Blacks and Hispanics.

More Fukushima Fallout: Japan misleads with latest radiation report! TEPCo so incompetent it must be ‘taught’ how to measure radiation!!!

Japan’s Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA) announced that it has finally begun to take part in regular safety inspections at Fukushima Daiichi, on 04 September 2013, more than two years after the nuke melt downs began!

The NRA has also released Pacific Ocean contamination data, collected by Tokyo Electric Power Company over the past six months.  However, when you realize how the two major North Pacific Ocean currents work, you’ll realize the collection points are fallacious.

TEPCo collects ocean water samples at two dubious points; along the coastline north of Fukushima Daiichi, and along the coastline south of Fukushima Daiichi.

Collection point north data shows cesium 137 (Cs-137) hit 3.3 becquerels per liter in June, and tritium (H-3) hit 8.6 becquerels per liter, also in June.  Collection point south data is considered “under limit of detection”, which does not mean there is no radiation, it means it’s at a level officials believe is safe.

Collection point north is 30 meters (98 feet) from the cooling water outlet for Reactors 5 and 6.  Back in 2011 the public was told those reactors were OK, but, they were suffering cooling problems as well.

Collection point south is 1.3 kilometers (0.8 mile) from the cooling outlet for Reactors 1, 2, 3 and 4.  Reactors that are in slow burn melt down.

These reported radiation levels are perplexing to me because it seems the groundwater under Fukushima Daiichi is reported to have much higher levels of contamination, and it’s pouring right into the Pacific Ocean.  This brings me to my point: TEPCo’s collection points are bogus.

The collection points are north and south of the reactors, but, the contaminated groundwater flows out northward at first, then eastward to Canada and the United States.   This is due to the convergence of the North Pacific Ocean’s main current called Kuroshio (Black Current or Black Tide) coming up from the south, and the Oyashio (Parental Current or Parental Tide, aka Kurile Current) coming from the north.  They converge, conveniently, at Hokkaido and the north eastern end of Honshu (where Fukushima Daiichi is).

This northward then eastward flow of water, from Fukushima Daiichi, could explain why radiation levels at the southern collection point are lower than the northern collection point.  Also, collection point south is too far away from the disaster site to affected by the contaminated groundwater anyway!

Collection point north, while almost 100 feet from the site, could still be far enough away from where the aquifer is entering into the ocean.  Both northern and southern collection points are outside the man made breakwaters along Fukushima Daiichi’s Pacific front.  The northern collection area is actually blocked by the northern breakwater.

Independent testing done by individuals and NGOs, at places like the mouths of rivers flowing into the ocean, and further out to sea, shows radiation levels are much higher than what TEPCo has been reporting.   Now that the NRA is in charge will we get more accurate reports?
