4-hundred New York Military Force (National Guard, Naval Militia and New York Guard) personnel were called up to respond to back-to-back north east storms.

In Pennsylvania the National Guard was also called up.

About 150 Pennsylvania Guard personnel responded.

Pennsylvania Air National Guard bosses are warning personnel they better not misuse prescription drugs.  Believe it or not, using expired drugs is considered misuse/abuse, even if it’s your prescription!

“I think all Airmen in the Pennsylvania Air Guard need to know how serious of a matter prescription abuse and sharing is.  An old prescription or your friend’s prescription for the same issue you are facing isn’t a valid prescription. The health and welfare of our Airmen – our most important asset – is of utmost importance to our force, but they need to make sure they are taking care of themselves and their medical issues in acceptable ways.”-Brigadier General Mike Regan, Pennsylvania Air National Guard

If you have expired prescription drugs don’t throw them away, take them to a pharmacy or local police for proper disposal.

Alabama Militia preps for hurricane using world’s largest Alabama map!

“TSR [Tropical Storm Risk] predicts Atlantic hurricane activity in 2018 will be slightly above the long-term norm and close to the last 10-year norm.”-Aon Benfield, University College London

Climate Forecast Applications Network predicts 80% chance of above ‘normal’ hurricane activity for 2018-19.

Colorado State University predicts no ‘El Niño’ developing, which usually prohibits hurricane development.

The Alabama National Guard is already prepping for the next hurricane season, and they’re starting out by using a giant map of The Yellowhammer State.

The plan is to synchronize the state militia with other Alabama Emergency Management responders before the next hurricane season.

This use of a large scale map, at Joint Force Headquarters in Montgomery, is called a Rehearsal of Concept.  Actual disaster drills will take place closer to hurricane season.

It’s the U.S. Navy’s ICEX 18, and they’re motto is Serving Silently Beneath the Ice.

There’s something under the ice of Alaska’s Beaufort Sea, the Undersea Warfighting Development Center Arctic Submarine Laboratory (UWDC ASL), the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation, and even the British empire’s Queen’s Royal Navy are spending a lot of time there.

Oregon militia responds to Contamination event in Montana!

Nearly 2-hundred Oregon National Guard personnel deployed to Montana after an earthquake and flood resulted in undisclosed ‘contamination’.

Oregon personnel joined Montana’s own Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) team in Great Falls, it was all part of a U.S. Northern Command training event called Vigilant Guard 18.

Wyoming invades Alaska!

Wyoming Army National Guard’s Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 297th Infantry Regiment invaded the arctic state of Alaska.

They joined militia personnel from Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont and Washington as part of  Arctic Eagle 2018.

The war game was part of a FEMA/Homeland Response Force mass-emergency response training event, that included soldiers sleeping outside of shelters as temperatures dropped to minus 30 Fahrenheit, last week.

Installation Strategic Action Plan: New massive military bases for state Militia units

At the end of February the North Carolina Army National Guard quietly off-loaded one of its Armories onto the city taxpayers of Woodland.  It’s part of an operation called Installation Strategic Action Plan/Readiness Center Transformation Master Plan (RCTMP).

Ostensibly North Carolina is trying to save state taxpayers money by consolidating its Army National Guard Armories into larger state-run military bases.   According to military sources it’s really about dealing with North Carolina’s changing population demographics and the acquisition of the latest Army technologies: “The RCTMP is a consolidation effort to better serve the state and meet the needs of a modernized force.”-Lieutenant Colonel Rodney Newton

Interestingly, in reference to demographic changes, in 2017 Lieutenant Colonel Rodney Newton blamed the influx of females into the National Guard for the push to abandon old Armories: “We didn’t have very many females in the military back then, they didn’t really influx until the late 70s, so you lack female restrooms.” 

The RCMTPs being built in Morganton and McLeansville are costing state taxpayers at least $70-million USD.  Many other states are attempting their own RCMTPs, but apparently are not able to raise the local taxpayer funds to do so.

Only eight Texas Air Guards-‘men’ were chosen for the 2018 Texas Military Department Best Warrior Competition, one of them is a woman.

“The ruck has been the most challenging thus far. I don’t think I was as prepared for the last four miles of fatigue, but it’s something you have to learn and power through on your own. The obstacle course was the most fun. It was hard at points, but the competition is about challenging yourself. Getting over the fear factor.”-Technical Sergeant Jennifer Brown, more than fifteen years combined USMC and Texas Air National Guard

The Texas Best Warrior Competition involves warfare simulations, written and physical exams, as well as things like a 19km (12 miles) march, followed by M4 (M16) and .50 caliber machine gun qualification.  Personnel from the Texas Army National Guard, as well as personnel from Czech Republic and Republic of Chile, also participated.
