ARIZONA: Flagstaff Mall Sears store and Auto Center shutting down by Thanksgiving.
CALIFORNIA:64 employees of the Clovis Kmart arrived at work only to find out they’re being shutdown, the only thing local news media was told was that the Kmart would shutdown in time for the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. It’s been revealed that the still active Manchester Center Sears store, in Fresno, has leased out half its active space to an unnamed retailer, who will occupy the north half of the building by Summer 2019. The real estate agency handling the deal also revealed that active Sears store downsizing efforts are taking place with the Sequoia Mall, in Visalia, and at the Merced Mall. All stores are owned by Sears Holdings’ REIT spin-off (and Warren Buffett funded) Seritage Growth Properties. Spring Valley Kmart, Antioch Kmart and Los Angeles Kmart (on West 3rd) all shutting down by Thanksgiving, 152 jobs killed according to WARN (Worker Adjustment Retraining Notice)! Capitola Mall Sears store in Santa Cruz shutting down by Thanksgiving.
COLORADO: Grand Junction Sears store and Auto Center shutting down by Thanksgiving.
CONNECTICUT: Milford Kmart shutting down by Thanksgiving.
DELAWARE: Newark Kmart shutting down by Thanksgiving.
GEORGIA:Sears stores and Auto Centers in Savannah(Oglethorpe Mall),Atlanta (Cumberland Mall) and Brunswick shutting down by Thanksgiving.
IDAHO: The Sears Hometown Store in Moscow is for sale, a very incomplete local news report gave no details.
ILLINOIS:Steger Kmart and Bloomington Sears and Auto Center (East Empire Street) shutting down by Thanksgiving. The 16 years vacantLake Zurich Kmart is being torn down by the property owner, under threat of a taxpayer funded court order. The Kmart property owner apparently promised to redevelop the property in 2017, claiming it would turn it into a massive apartment/retail shops complex. The city is demanding construction on the massive complex must start by March 2019.
KENTUCKY: Florence Sears shutting down by Thanksgiving.
LOUISIANA:Hammond Sears store and Auto Center shutting down by Thanksgiving. The still active Clearview Shopping Center Sears store and Auto Center, in New Orleans, was just purchased by the family owners of the mall. The Sears store will supposedly continue operating, but will be reduced in size as most of the 14 acre Sears space will be carved up into smaller retail shops.
MARYLAND: The Westfield Montgomery Sears store, in Bethesda, shutting down in March 2019. The store was bought by the mall owner last year, for $105-million USD, their plan is to tear it down and replace it with a multitude of smaller brick-n-mortar shops.

The 23 years old Chillicothe Kmart/Little Caesar’s Pizza shutting down by the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday, local news media said they were alerted to the shutdown when customers were being told that layaways were halted. It was also discovered that the Kmart property had been sold at the end of July to Rural King Realty for $4.7-million USD.
OREGON: Happy Valley-PortlandSears store and Auto Center shutting down by Thanksgiving.
PENNSYLVANIA: Store closing signs confirmed that the McMurray Kmart is shutting down in October, employees were told last month, but also were told not to tell anybody. After more than 20 years, the Pine Township Sears HometownStore shutdown at the end of July, no reason was given.
TENNESSEE: The taxpayers of Clarksville being forced to give a property developer a tax abatement incentive (amount undisclosed at this time) to redevelop property that has a vacant Kmart on it. The developer is promising that 427 new jobs will be created.
TEXAS: Houston-Memorial and College Station-BryanSears stores and Auto Centers shutting down by Thanksgiving.
UTAH: West Jordan Sears shutting down by Thanksgiving.
VIRGINIA: FairfaxSears shutting down by Thanksgiving.
WASHINGTON:Vancouver MallSears store and Auto Center shutting down by Thanksgiving. The Sears Hometown Store in Toppenish suddenly shutdown, the owners said they couldn’t renew the lease and will focus on their stores in Sunnyside, and in Hood River (Oregon).
WEST VIRGINIA:Scott Depot Kmart shutting down by Thanksgiving. Kmart used flooding as excuse to layoff employees at Crossings Mall in Elkview, according to lawsuit.
WISCONSIN:Eau Claire and La Crosse (Valley View Mall)Sears stores and Auto Centers shutting down by Thanksgiving. The five years old Appleton (Grand Chute) Sears Outlet store shutdown on the 19th, the owner didn’t say why, only that he was consolidating the remaining inventory to his new store in Germantown.
WYOMING: Gillette Kmart shutting down by Thanksgiving.

Sonoma West Medical Center said despite recent layoffs and its slightly improved cash flow, it can’t cover its mountain of debts and operating costs, on top of that its minimum debt payment is expected to double to almost half-a-million dollars per month in Autumn, and wait there’s more as health insurance company Anthem is suing the hospital, so it will most likely shutdown by the end of the year. Coalinga Regional Medical Center suddenly shutdown, about 175 jobs gone due to lack of revenue! California Medical Business Services issued a shutdown WARN, 64 jobs in Arcadia gone by the end of August. Tri-City Healthcare issued a shutdown WARN for its Oceanside location, 80 jobs gone by the end of August. In Palmdale, Antelope Valley Hospital issued a layoff WARN, 137 jobs gone mid-August! In Long Beach, Molina Healthcare eliminating 106 jobs by July! In Los Angeles, Cedars-Sinai suddenly laid off 187 people! Generic drugs maker Impax Laboratories issued a shutdown WARN for its Hayward factory, 533 jobs gone by August!
COLORADO: Non-profit Mental Health Partners suddenly laid off 17 people, blaming “continuing changes in the healthcare landscape”.
CONNECTICUT: Medical and drugs supplier McKesson shutting down its Rocky Hill facility, 105 jobs gone! Purdue Pharma laid off 350 people due to lawsuits over the opioid crisis: “Purdue has ended its sales force engagement with prescribers for all of its medicines…”-Bob Josephson
FLORIDA: Transitions Optical eliminating nine jobs in Pinellas Park.
Three Rite Aid locations shutdown in Hall County due to the take-over by British empire owned Walgreens Boots Alliance. Chestatee Regional Hospital shutting down at the end of July, to be sold-off to a competitor who in turn plans to sell it to state taxpayers (Georgia Board of Regents), resulting in 141 jobs killed!
Pleasant Hill Healthcare issued a shutdown WARN for its Girard location, 66 jobs gone by September.
INDIANA: Saint Vincent Health suddenly laid off 85 people, the hospital operator laid off 75 people earlier in the year and 1-hundred people last year. Syneos Health issued a layoff WARN, 98 jobs gone by the end of July.
IOWA: After less than three years christian owned Keokuk Medical Center shutting down by the end of August, administrators say it was just a stop-gap clinic until bigger and better centers could be built. Mercy Medical Center eliminating 43 jobs as part of its consolidation ops. Wellmark eliminating 30 jobs in Des Moines, by August.
Pikeville Medical Center laid off 1-hundred people and forced another 30 to quit or be fired! Hospital administrators claim the decision was made 45 days prior: “So what happened is in 2016 we had the best year we ever had at the end of the 2016 year, but in 2017 we had the worst year we ever had.”-Donovan Blackburn, CEO
LOUISIANA: Tennessee based HCA Healthcare announced it will sell Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Lafayette. University Health Conway forced to temporarily shutdown clinic ops due to a broken water line.
MASSACHUSETTS: Flex Pharma eliminating 60% of its jobs due to the failure of one of its experimental drugs!
In Jersey City, Majestic Rehabilitation and Nursing Center eliminating 166 jobs by September!
NEW YORK: Jewish Board of Family & Children’s Services’troubled youth treatment center Hawthorne Cedar Knolls eliminating 107 jobs as part of its pending shutdown due to never ending security problems (like formerly sex trafficked children escaping almost daily)! Metro Athletic Medicine and Fitness issued a layoff WARN for its Brooklyn-NYC location, 54 jobs gone by September due to loss of contract. Millennium Medical Staffing shutting down ops in Bronx-NYC, 135 jobs gone by the end of August, due to being taken over by a competitor! First Care of New York, also in Bronx-NYC, eliminating 851 jobs by August, also due to being taken over by a competitor!
Premier Health’s 491 bed Good Samaritan Hospital, in Dayton, shutting down mid-July, 1-thousand-6-hundred jobs affected! Premier Health said it’s because it has another hospital just five miles from Good Samaritan.
OKLAHOMA: Tennessee based Community Health Systems selling AllianceHealth Deaconess, a 291 bed hospital in OK City, to a competitor.
TENNESSEE: Big South Fork Medical Center eliminating 20 jobs, admitting they’ve been overstaffed since their grand opening last year. Meharry Medical College suddenly laid off 55 employees.
TEXAS: The state Fire Marshal’s Office investigating the cause of an explosion at the construction site of Coryell Memorial Healthcare System, which killed one person and wounded 15! Medical supplies provider Arjo shutdown its San Antonio location, 54 jobs gone due to “A global decision has been made to co-localize research and development…” Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital warning of mass layoffs and bankruptcy due to $11-million USD of debts. Huntsville Memorial eliminating its Joe G. Davis School of Vocational Nursing due to increasing competition from area nursing schools. Stamford Healthcare System suddenly shutdown its Regional Services Department and laid off 29 people, directly blaming lack of ObamaCare-ACA insurance reimbursements: “Unfortunately, the refusal of insurance companies to pay for the healthcare services provided has decreased the viability of the program.”-statement made to Jones County Regional Healthcare System board of directors

Active pharmaceutical ingredients maker Lannett-Cody Laboratories eliminating 50 jobs in Wyoming by moving them to New York, despite last year promising to expand Wyoming production.

Do your research, you’ll find that Florida is the main dumping point for drugs ‘captured’ by the U.S. government. The federal government claims the drugs are used as evidence in court cases. or destroyed. Florida was also the cocaine dumping grounds for Oliver North’s Iran-Contra Affair.
As such, the Florida National Guard and local municipalities are struggling to fight illegal, and prescription, drug use through the Civil Operations Program (COP). Saint Johns County alone reported that they collected 943 pounds of prescription medication in just four hours, during national Take Back Day!

The 180 crew members of the Coast Guard Cutter Mellon, homeported in Seattle, divide their illegal activity patrols (like illegal fishing by foreigners and drug smuggling) between the central American country of Guatemala and the U.S. state of Alaska.
Washington DC: The federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) reports that for April’s Take Back Day 430480-kilograms (474 U.S. tons) of drugs were collected nation wide. I’ve pointed out before that the phrase Take Back Day used by the government implies that it was the government that gave/sold you the drugs.
