Medical Martial Law: South Korea uses MERS as excuse to round up thousands of people!

04 June 2015 (01:26 UTC-07 Tango 01)/14 Kordad 1394/16 Sha’ban 1436/18 Ren-Wu (4th month) 4713

U.S. ally Republic of Korea (South Korea, aka RoK) has quarantined more than 16-hundred people, and now has shutdown more than 230 schools, all because 35 people are infected with Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS).  At least three have died.

Unconfirmed news reports say the first infected Korean had returned from operating a farm equipment company on the Middle East island of Bahrain.  Most of the people now infected are healthcare workers who came into contact with the infected man.

So far there are no reports that can justify the lockdown of more than 16-hundred Koreans and 230 schools.

It should be noted that RoK has been in a declared state of Martial Law since 1972.  Martial Law was declared by U.S. backed  Park Chung-hee, who took power in a coup in 1961.  He established the Martial Law Command to enforce it.  The current president of RoK is Park Geun-hye, daughter of Park Chung-hee.

False Flag: Pro-vaccine government blames a single case of diphtheria on rejection of vaccines!

04 June 2015 (01:01 UTC-07 Tango 01)/14 Kordad 1394/16 Sha’ban 1436/18 Ren-Wu (4th month) 4713

Vaccine pushing Spain is reporting its first case of Corynebacterium diphtheriae in 29 years, and health administrators blame a growing rejection of vaccination by the general public.

A six years old boy is infected.  Spanish administrators even begged Russia to send them the drug needed to treat him, as vaccine addicted Spain did not have the drug!

Diphtheria is spread by direct contact or through the air. It causes a condition known as Bull Neck, as it causes swelling of body parts.  The bacteria is assumed to have a 10% fatality rate.  In fact, it’s not that common of a disease with the UN World Health Organization reporting 4-thousand 7-hundred cases worldwide in 2013.

The Spanish Ministry of Health has officially labeled people who refuse vaccines as “irresponsible”.  90% of Spaniards are considered ‘vaccinated’.

ObamaCare Self-Destruction: Healthcare costs to skyrocket 80%! Six million U.S. citizens about to lose health insurance!

04 June 2015 (00:41 UTC-07 Tango 01)/14 Kordad 1394/16 Sha’ban 1436/18 Ren-Wu (4th month) 4713

“…it does look like premiums are heading upwards.  And it’s for a combination of factors….health care costs, which have been growing very slowly recently, are increasing faster, particularly for prescription drugs. And insurers are for the first time under Obamacare setting premiums based on actual experience with enrollees.  Up until now, they were guessing at how much health care people were using. …..in many cases people are ….sicker than insurers expected.”-Larry Levitt, interviewed on PBS News Hour

The soon to be concluded U.S. Supreme Court case, King v. Burwell, could result in 6.4-million U.S. citizens losing their taxpayer subsidized Obama Care (Affordable Care Act, ACA) health insurance.  The lawsuit states that the ACA does not provide for subsidies for those who can’t afford the outrageous insurance industry rates.

Currently $1.7-billion U.S. tax dollars are spent helping people get healthcare insurance, after Obama Care made it a crime not to have insurance.  Even more could be spent once the insurance industry jacks up their rates (something that was promised wouldn’t happen by supporters of Obama Care).

New studies by the Kaiser Family Foundation, and the Commonwealth Fund, say insurance/healthcare costs will increase by as much as 80% in 2016!

Bottom line is that Obama Care clearly is not going to increase access to healthcare, but is actually restricting access, and is not reducing healthcare costs to individuals, but is actually increasing it.

U.S. Job Losses & Store Closings, 15 – 17 May 2015: “We’ve noticed an exodus…just vacancies….and lots of for rent signs…” No more Oreos? No more guns in Utah?

Incomplete list of publicly announced layoffs & shutdowns:

Alabama: In Mobile, 37 years old Book Stop shutdown, the owner said she had to care for her mother.

Arizona:  Texas based Blue Bell Creameries is closing three Grand Canyon State distribution centers, more than 1-hundred jobs lost!

Florida: What automotive industry recovery?  Iconic Estero based  Hertz car rental company announced they are shutting down 2-hundred stores across the U.S.! Company administrators said rentals are so bad they need to cut $10-million USD per year in operating costs!   In Tampa, US Foods issued a shutdown WARN saying 206 people will become jobless by August! The company is consolidating ops and is trying to merge with rival Sysco. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is challenging the merger.  Obama Care forcing Panama City’s Crothall Healthcare to issue a WARN saying 167 people will become unemployed in July!

Illinois: News reports say Deerfield based Oreo Cookie bakery Mondelez International will eliminate at least 6-hundred people at their Chicago operations!  News reports also say the industrial baker is considering shifting work to Mexico.  Ironically, company administrators said even if they decide to stay and expand operations in Chicago at least 3-hundred jobs would still be eliminated!

Louisiana: In Lafayette, after more than 40 years the owners of Whole Wheatery Eatery announced they will shutdown in June. Owners Jean Goodman blame the landlord for jacking up the rent and “We’ve had poor sales for the past year. We’ve noticed an exodus of offices, just vacancies of offices and lots of for rent signs in the area.”

Minnesota: What housing market recovery?  In Saint Cloud, after five years the owners of home furnishings store Accents announced they will shutdown at the end of June, blaming competition.    H5N2 causing Rembrandt Enterprises egg farm to layoff 231 employees, due to “quickly declining” production!

Missouri: Golf Galaxy suddenly shutdown their Brentwood store.  News reports said it’s being replaced with a booze store.

New Jersey: Trenton Board of Education announced they must eliminate 162 jobs!  Administrators blame competition with charter schools.   Paterson School District eliminating 547 jobs!  That’s 60% more than what was being discussed!  The state appointed school superintendent said the district must cut at least $21-million from its budget.

New York: At John F. Kennedy International Airport, DAL Global issued a WARN saying they must layoff 46 baggage handlers due to loss of contract.  News reports say NYC based The Meredith Vieira Show laid off an undisclosed number of employees “Due to the changing and evolving format of the show….”.  Digital First Media continues to slash & burn, this time an undisclosed number of employees at their Record, Capital Region and Saratogian newspapers were let go.  Also in NYC, Toys R Us shutting down the iconic FAO Schwarz store in July, blaming greedy property owners (Boston Properties) who jacked up the rent: “The decision to vacate this space is due to the continuing rising costs of operating a retail location on Fifth Avenue in New York City.”

Crain’s New York Business reported that the rent for FAO Schwarz was jumping from $3-hundred per square foot to $2-thousand per square foot!   FAO Schwarz is 150 years old, Toys R Us claims they will find a new location.

North Carolina: Charlotte based FairPoint Communications announced they are shutting down call centers, 219 jobs lost in Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire! FairPoint is also cutting another 41 jobs across 17 states.  CEO Paul Sunu admitted, in a round-a-bout way, that there is no recovery: “Faced with the realities of the industry and the competitive landscape in which we operate, we must be keenly focused on managing costs and enhancing productivity…”

Pennsylvania: After 35 years Rubinstein’s Kennett Square office supply store shutdown.  Management blamed competition with the internet, but then also stated that business was so good customers were having a hard time finding parking spaces.  Operations are being consolidated to another store with a bigger parking lot.

South Carolina: Luxembourg based ArcelorMittal announced it will shutdown its Georgetown steel wire mill by summer, 226 jobs lost!  This is the second time the factory has been shutdown since 2009, administrators blame competition.

Texas: Brenham based ice cream maker Blue Bell Creameries is now killing off 1,450 jobs, plus furloughing another 1,400 employees, plus reducing pay and hours for the 1,050 employees who will remain working, for a grand total of 3,900 jobs affected!  What automotive industry recovery?  In Waco, after 105 years (surviving the Great deflationary Depression and numerous recessions) Bill Miller’s car lot shutdown.  The owner blames his cancer treatments: “The radiation that cured the cancer did a number on my neck and throat.”

Utah: Gun maker Vector Arms now chapter 11 bankrupt busted.  Sales crashed 50%, possibly a result of the company’s involvement in violating a U.S. Army contract to supply the Afghan government with guns & ammo.

Washington: KapStone Paper and Packaging laid off 33 people at their Longview factory saying “Relative to other companies in our industry we have too many people….”.

Wisconsin:  Plover based frozen snack food maker Golden County Foods now chapter 11 bankrupt busted.

13 – 14 May 2015: “When does this stop?”

WARN=Worker Adjustment & Retraining Notification

The U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) no longer issues mass layoff reports: “On March 1, 2013, President Obama ordered into effect the across-the- board spending cuts (commonly referred to as sequestration) required by the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act, as amended. Under the order, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) must cut its current budget by more than $30 million, 5 percent of the current 2013 appropriation, by September 30, 2013. In order to help achieve these savings and protect core programs, the BLS will eliminate two programs, including Mass Layoff Statistics, and all ‘measuring green jobs’ products. This news release is the final publication of monthly mass layoff survey data.”

World War 3 False Flag: New deadlier anthrax spreads across the U.S. from Mormon Utah! Canada has known since 2006, kept quiet until now!

03 June 2015 (15:13 UTC-07 Tango 01)/13 Kordad 1394/15 Sha’ban 1436/17 Ren-Wu (4th month) 4713

“We have concern that the inactivation procedures, when followed properly, are inadequate to kill all spores, and the U.S. government is developing an approach to securing such possible samples from misuse.”-Daniel Sosin, U.S. CDC

The Obama regime’s Department of Defense (DoD) now says at least 17 U.S. states have been hit by live deadly weaponized anthrax, sent with love from Dugway Proving Ground in the state of Utah.  Deputy Defense Secretary Robert Work warned “We expect this number may rise.”

DoD investigators also say that it appears the Army’s standard procedure of using radiation to kill live anthrax does not work on this new deadlier version, and that the test to ensure the anthrax is dead didn’t work either!

Here’s a conundrum; in order for military bio-weapons detectors to identify anthrax in the environment they actually need live samples inside the machines for them to function properly.

The states now confirmed to have received the new strain of bacillus anthracis are California, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Ohio, North Carolina plus Washington DC.

The British empire NATO member Canada now confirms that Utah has sent live anthrax to two Canadian laboratories as early as 2006.   What’s interesting is that the Public Health Agency of Canada claim they knew then that it was live anthrax, but said nothing about it until now.  They add that they still have the live anthrax.

The Canadian labs involved are the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg (2006 shipment), and the Defence Research and Development Suffield Research Centre in Alberta (two shipments in 2007).

And what timing: The U.S. FDA is looking at a new treatment for anthrax.  U.S. Food and Drug Administration is reviewing a new drug called Anthim.  The FDA has given Fast Track development status to the drug, which was developed by the Biological Advanced Research and Development Authority.

Utah spreads weaponized Anthrax to British empire!

U.S. Job Losses & Store Closings, 13 – 14 May 2015: “When does this stop? What’s next…?” Christians continue to throw their cash to the Money Changers in the Temple! ObamaCare killing streak continues! “…we will have deaths related to the closure of Doctors Medical Center.”

Incomplete list of publicly announced layoffs & shutdowns:

California: What housing market recovery? In Alhambra, after 76 years Potts Plumbing Parts announced it will shutdown in June.  The owner blames crashing sales on the internet and ‘Big Box’ stores, as well as lazy people: “What we do is becoming obsolete. People don’t think to repair things anymore unless it’s something they can’t change without a remodel. If it’s something like a faucet or sink, they just take it out and replace it.”-Joe Potts

What was that about Obama Care increasing access to healthcare?  In San Pablo, Obama Care forced taxpayer funded Doctors Medical Center to shutdown at the end of April, and failing to find a new owner/operator it will be carved up and sold-off.  80% of the customers are on Medicare or Medicaid (Medical in California) and Obama Care drastically cut reimbursements, and even forces Medicare/Medicaid recipients to stop going to hospitals.  Local news reports said the loss of the hospital results in the residents of West Contra Costa County losing 79% of their access to healthcare: “The mortality rates will increase, we will have deaths related to the closure of Doctors Medical Center.”-Maria Sahagun, registered nurse

Obama Care forced Western Dental Services to stop taking low income patients at 13 California offices, a shutdown WARN indicated 237 jobs could be lost: “…the extremely low funding and reimbursement levels …..have finally proven impossible to bear.”-official Western Dental Services statement

In San Ramon, AT&T Global Customer Service issued a layoff WARN for July, 89 jobs lost.  In Oakland, Owens-Brockway Glass Container issued a layoff WARN saying 67 people will be laid off in July.  In Redwood City, EA owned video game maker Visceral Games “made a small staffing change in our Visceral studio today to support the needs of the studio’s two current development priorities”.  Monterey Peninsula Unified School District warned that at least 17 employees will be laid off, due to lack of money.  PTA leaders and parents are pissed off and called Bull-Shit on the money issue: “We already pay for half of these positions! In the PTA we pay for science lab, the PE teacher. When does this stop? What’s next, the office clerk? Recess, instruction? Is this all going to fall on the parents? Why don’t we go to a private school already?”-unnamed mom and PTA member

Florida: In Tampa, US Foods issued a shutdown WARN saying 206 people will become jobless by August! The company is consolidating ops and is trying to merge with rival Sysco. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is challenging the merger.   In Lake Mary, Obama Care medical device tax forced Access MediQuip to layoff 84 people and shutdown, without warning.

Indiana:  Packaging maker Essentra announced they’re consolidating to North Carolina in October, 150 employees will be abandoned in Evansville!  Basically the new owners of the factory said the economy is so bad in the “Americas” that they can’t justify their recently purchased Evansville ops.

Maryland: In Baltimore, after less than two years the Shoo-Fly Diner is about to shutdown, the owner is trying to work a deal to keep the place open during summer. Critics have written that the food isn’t that good.

Michigan: God refused to stop ‘his’ Calvin College from bribing seven employees to quit, and warning that outright layoffs are coming.  The Christian college has been relying on debt financing and is fighting to pay it down.  Christians have already donated $25-million USD to pay down the debt, and the school is trying to cut $4.5-million in costs by 2017.  News reports from 2013 said ‘Christian’ administrators overspent on new construction and made bad investments with donated money.  In one case, $5-million that was supposed to pay down the debt was used to buy real estate instead!  This is a clear case of Christians putting their faith into the money changers in the Temple (capitalist administrators) rather than in their God: “The former administration, the former president certainly had a reputation as someone who understood finances and business. He came from a banking background. And so I think there’s some bewilderment at the scope of the problem.”– David Diephouse, professor (who is obviously of ‘Blind Faith’)

Missouri: What housing market recovery?  After 25 years the Long Lighting Center shutting down.  The owners blame crashing sales, but they blame that on the internet and ‘Big Box’ home improvement stores.

New Jersey: Sears Holdings announced the Closter Kmart will shutdown in August, 102 jobs lost!

New York: Oneida Savings Bank issued a shutdown WARN for offices in Oneida and Rome, as least 63 jobs lost by July.  In Dewitt, after 29 years Daugherty’s Masquerade (aka The Masquerade Store) has ended full time operations and will be open seasonally.  The owners blame increasing competition.  In Amherst, after 40 years Boulevard Mall Bootery shutdown, the owner blames crashing sales on the internet and ‘Big Box’ shoe stores.

North Carolina: For profit student rip off artist Brookstone College of Business suddenly shutdown, administrators admit they can’t comply with new federal education rules that require higher education to prove its students can find jobs after they graduate!

Ohio: In Mansfield, after 59 years the owners of Weidle’s Meats and Delicatessen announced they will shutdown in June. It’s been up for sale since October 2014.  In Columbus, repair and logistics support company Decision One laid off 75 people due to losing their contract with Microsoft.

Oklahoma: Sears Holdings announced the Tulsa Kmart will shutdown in August, at least 51 jobs lost!

Pennsylvania: Russia owned pipe maker OAO TMK revealed it has laid off 115 U.S. citizens, and reduced working hours for the rest of their employees!  Company administrators originally planned to layoff 75 people, but they blame the U.S. oil industry for massively reducing orders for steel pipe.

Texas: In Houston, Obama Care medical device tax forced Access MediQuip to layoff at least 80 people and shutdown without warning.  Fort Worth based oil well operator FTS International said it is consolidating operations, resulting in layoffs in Louisiana and in Longview, Texas.  In Edinburg, Ignite Public Schools has been shutdown by the Texas Education Agency.  TEA administrators said the charter school failed at academics and managing their own budget.

Wisconsin: In East Tosa, after 29 years North Star Music store shutdown.  The property has been for sale for a while, yet nobody seems interested.

11 – 12 May 2015: “I didn’t see this coming….everything was really good…”

WARN=Worker Adjustment & Retraining Notification

The U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) no longer issues mass layoff reports: “On March 1, 2013, President Obama ordered into effect the across-the- board spending cuts (commonly referred to as sequestration) required by the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act, as amended. World War 3: Mormon Utah spreads weaponized Anthrax to British empire! Cases dating back to 2008!

02 June 2015 (00:35 UTC-07 Tango 01)/12 Kordad 1394/14 Sha’ban 1436/16 Ren-Wu (4th month) 4713

At least two whistleblowers within the Obama regime’s Department of Defense revealed that the weaponized anthrax ‘mistake’ is much bigger than first reported.  It turns out that live cultures were also sent to Australia and Canada.  Please note these countries are NATO members or associates.

The weaponized live anthrax was sent by Dugway Proving Ground, in the U.S. state of Utah.  The latest claims have been published by USA Today and The Guardian.  But wait, there’s more!

It turns out these ‘mistaken’ live anthrax shipments have been ongoing since March 2014!  In one case, Pentagon administrators admitted they shipped live weaponized Bacillus anthracis to Australia in 2008.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have already urged four people in the U.S. to get treatment for anthrax exposure “as a precaution”.

Utah spreads Anthrax to 9 states! Part of war games currently underway?

Sears Kmart Closing update 02 June 2015: Finally, stockholders rebel against Eddie Lampert! Sears franchise owner says he can make more money as a lowly assistant manager!

Back in 2013, a Michigan Kmart distribution center shutdown and was sold-off for $17-million USD, now it’s finally getting a new tenant. Snowmobile and electric cart maker Polaris Industries will rent out a fraction of the building to use as their new parts warehouse. No Polaris is not expanding, rather they are following the corporate trend of consolidation, moving their other warehouse ops into the old Kmart facility (meaning the old warehouses will shutdown).

In Texas, the franchise owner of a Sears Hometown store has quit, saying he’ll be better off working as an assistant manager at a local Dollar General store!  The Palestine Sears Hometown store has shutdown.  Local news reports say nobody at Sears Holdings would comment.

Finally, individual stockholders of Sears Holdings have filed a class action lawsuit against Eddie Lampert (majority stockholder), claiming everything he’s done is only to line his wallet with cash, and has nothing to do with saving Sears and Kmart from oblivion.

The final straw was when Lampert recently announced he would create yet another REIT to ‘sell’ Sears properties to, as a way of raising $2.5-billion cash for Sears Holdings.  Sounds like a complicated pyramid scam to me, but apparently it’s legal.  The lawsuit accuses Lampert of making these deals for himself, saying “The proposed transaction is a financially and structurally unfair deal.  Sears and its stockholders would receive a severely inadequate cash payment that the defendant Lampert-controlled company may use to cover operating losses and debt obligations for another year or so, before stockholders are left holding the bag in an insolvency widely viewed as inevitable if the proposed transaction occurs.”

Seritage Real Estate (Seritage Realty Trust) is just another smoke & mirrors operation by Sears Holdings.

Lampert has reportedly already made $150-million in this latest self financing shell game.

More taxpayers paying for abandoned Kmarts!

Latest news from inside sources say Sears Holdings will not comment on any plans to expand the small amount of Craftsman products already being sold at the Kmart, or shift the Kenmore products line, from the closing Chubbuck Sears to the Pocatello Kmart. Christian ObamaCare hospital killing off black babies, allowing teenagers to play doctor!

02 June 2015 (23:20 UTC-07 Tango 01 June 2015)/12 Kordad 1394/14 Sha’ban 1436/16 Ren-Wu (4th month) 4713

A hospital who got little attention after getting caught, back in January, allowing a troubled teenager to play doctor for a month is now in the spotlight, for killing babies.

Saint Mary Medical Center in Florida has an infant death rate that’s at least three times higher than the national average, and if you pay attention to the video in the CNN report you’ll notice the overwhelming majority of the deaths involve ‘black’ babies, followed by Hispanic baby deaths.

White babies have been paralyzed.  It’s all under the guise of saving the babies’ lives by performing heart surgery.  The ‘child sacrifice’ began when a new doctor who claims to be able to perform heart surgery on babies weighing as little as 400 grams took overthe pediatric open heart surgery program in 2011.  The deadly surgeries continue.

I noticed, from reports, that almost all of the deaths were the result of massive infections after surgery.

An independent investigation, that has been squelched by the hospital, resulted in the investigators blasting the hospital for its policies, and even recommending that they stop all such surgeries on babies.  The result of the investigation was presented to state administrators, but even Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration is protecting the hospital; CNN had to force the release of the investigation by taking legal action.

But wait there’s more!  This isn’t the first time Saint Mary Medical Center has gotten away with what should be considered a crime.

In January of this year it was revealed by local news sources that for a month a troubled teenager was allowed to waltz around the hospital claiming to be a OB/GYN doctor, and even given access to secure areas. A real doctor finally caught the teenager right in the act of performing an exam on a patient.  Police arrested the fake doctor, but no charges were filed, either against the teen or the hospital.

The boys mother told local reporters he had an ‘illness’ and was refusing to take his meds.

U.S. Job Losses & Store Closings, 11 – 12 May 2015: “I didn’t see this coming at all. We’ve been assured repeatedly…that everything was really good…”

Incomplete list of publicly announced layoffs & shutdowns:

California: In Trona, evil gold miner CR Briggs issued a WARN saying 39 employees will become unemployed in July.  The city of Shasta Lake laid off three firefighters due to lack of tax payer funding.  The fire chief was upset: “It’s horrible, I told three friends of mine they don’t have a job anymore…”-Dennis Bech

Colorado: Zenith Education Group continues mass kill-off of jobs, this time in Thornton.  131 call center employees were laid off!  It’s the result of Zenith’s takeover of failed Corinthian College, as well as what I call Disappearing Student Syndrome (DSS): “We had a reduction in the student population and we are merging some call centers to the one located in Tampa.”-Krissy Humenesky

Florida: Darden Restaurants laid off 30 people at their Orlando HQ. They laid off employees last year as well. Administrators say the economy is forcing them to “streamline”. Darden operates Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Yard House, Eddie V’s Prime Steakhouse, The Capital Grille, Seasons 52 and Bahama Breeze.

Georgia: In Augusta, after 35 years Ming Yat Chinese Restaurant shutdown.

Illinois: God refuses to stop the shutdown of the 44 years old  Sunshine Preschool based in the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church.  It’s blamed on the need for renovations and The Rapture, I mean Disappearing Student Syndrome.  What automotive industry recovery?  In Decatur, Allied Recreation Group laid off more than 50 recreational vehicle (RV) employees due to crashing sales.

Maryland: Unilever announced it is moving its vegetable oil and margarine (like Country Crock and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter) ops from Baltimore to Kansas, 137 jobs lost by June!  Company administrators blamed it on crashing demand, resulting in too much supply (which they called “over-capacity”).

Michigan: In Parchment, paper products company Georgia-Pacific announced they’re shutting down their Dixie factory in December, at least 57 jobs lost.  Parchment mayor Rob Heasley reacted as any ‘merican who doesn’t pay attention to economic reality does, saying “I didn’t see this coming at all. We’ve been assured repeatedly by the plant staff that everything was really good and the place was very profitable.” If he really paid attention he’d realize that corporate America always claims things are going good right before they shut things down, it’s standard propaganda.

New York: In Cheektowaga, second run Movieland 8 Theatres (note the British empire way of spelling theater) shutdown, apparently without notice. The owners said they couldn’t afford to upgrade to digital.  Theaters are being forced to upgrade to digital because more and more movies are available only in digital.  The owners tried to raise money through crowdsourcing, but it failed.  Lackmann Culinary Services issued a WARN saying they’ve lost their contract with Stony Brook University’s Kelly Dining Center, 386 jobs lost by the end of June!  In Bronx, Amertex Textile Services issued a WARN saying 95 laundry workers will become jobless in August, due to the bad economy.  In North Syracuse, Seneca Data Distributors (owned by Arrow Electronics) amended their 2014 WARN, yet again, this time pushing their shutdown to September. They are joining the mass exodus from The Empire State and moving to Arizona.  What automotive industry recovery? In Tonawanda, British empire Canada owned auto parts wholesaler Uni-Select issued a WARN saying they’re shutting down in August, 33 jobs lost.  The assets of the U.S. Uni-Select operations are being sold to U.S. based Icahn Enterprises, which will affect 38 warehouses, 240 stores and 3-thousand 5-hundred U.S. employees across the country!    It’s part of Canadian owned Uni-Select’s plan to get out of the suck-ass U.S. market!   The Delaware and Hudson Railway Company is no more!  They’ve issued a shutdown WARN that affects nine locations, and at least 3-hundred jobs will be lost by August!

North Carolina: Employees of computer company Lenovo reported that the company is laying off people.  Local news reports say Lenovo administrators refused to talk at first, but then admitted they were eliminating the jobs of 235 former IBM employees!  It’s the result of  Lenovo’s purchase of IBM’s System X ops.   Software company  ChannelAdvisor admitted it laid off employees, but refused to say how many.  Local news reports say the company hasn’t filed a WARN, yet.

North Dakota: In Bismarck, After almost 80 years Corwin Churchill Appliance shutdown.  Bruce Whittey, the president of the appliance chain store, blames the greedy landowner who sold the property out from under their feet!

Oklahoma: Cinemark shutdown its Tusla theater.  The movie venue had degraded to a ‘second run’ operation in recent years, and apparently Cinemark didn’t think the Tusla market was worth upgrading their 26 years old eight screened theater.

Pennsylvania: Camden City School District laid off 92 employees due to funding cuts caused by what I call DSS.  Superintendent Paymon Rouhanifard called it “a brutal process”.

Texas: In San Antonio, specialty grocery store Gaucho Gourmet shutdown. It will continue to sell on the internet.  Maritime diesel engine maintainer Kirby laid off 2-hundred people, due to crashing demand for the service!

Washington: In Spokane, aircraft interior manufacturer Triumph Composite Systems laid off 25 employees.

West Virginia: Only 18 months after emerging from bankruptcy, Patriot Coal is again chapter 11 bankrupt busted.  The mining company has $1-billion of debt.  Kanawha Eagle Coal, Patriot Ventures and Highland Mining Company also went chapter 11 bankrupt.

08 – 10 May 2015: “I love the business….I’m just not making money.”

WARN=Worker Adjustment & Retraining Notification
