World War 3 Afghanistan, 17 – 21 December 2014: CIA admits drone strikes don’t work! Proof it’s a Christian Crusade! Police ordered to attack Pakistan! Increasing number of female Kamikaze bombers! UN declares 2014 “bloodiest year ever” for civilians! U.S. 99% taxpayers create new 1% elites in Afghanistan!

Badakhshan Province: Police have arrested two Mujahideen whom they say cannot recite the Kalimas.  I checked on this Kalima thing and discovered it’s specific to Pakistani Islam, but even the majority of Pakistanis cannot recite all of the ‘Kalimas’.  So what is the point the police are trying to make?

Baghlan Province: In Baghlan City, two explosions targeted the local NDS office, but police say nobody was hurt.

Balkh Province: NATO ‘partner’ Georgia is sending 170 troops, to serve under German command out of Mazar-e-Sharif.

Farah Province: In Bala Balook District, police claim to have killed three Mujahideen.

Faryab Province: It’s been revealed that all the financial efforts of the taxpayers of Finland were wasted! In 2007 Finnish troops left the area, after spending millions building 10 ‘western’ style police stations and a few ‘western’ style schools.  A Finnish (former ISAF) commander (Colonel Ali Mättölä) told Finnish news sources that Mujahideen have either taken control of those buildings, or destroyed them.  He also says Mujahideen effectively control Faryab Province.

Helmand Province: In Lashkar Gah City, a bank was attacked leaving seven people (including Afghan National Army [ANA] personnel) dead and as many wounded.  Police say all the attackers were killed.

Herat Province: In Shindand District, police claim five people blew themselves up while planting a landmine.

Jawzjan Province: In Qawsh Tapa District, seven cops were killed defending their FOB (Forward Operating Base).  Police claim that five Mujahideen were killed as well.

Kabul Province: In Kabul City, Mujahideen claim they’ve killed six NATO personnel, they assume they are Norwegian troops, along with 10 ANA troops.  The Ministry of Defense is reporting battles raging across the country over the past five days, with hundreds of people killed.  The ministry mentioned Helmand, Paktiya, Khost, Uruzgan, Balkh, Jowzjan, Sar-e-Pul and Kunar provinces as being the hot spots. The National Directorate of Security (NDS) says there are at least 107 terrorism ‘hubs’ in Afghanistan, mainly within the province of Kabul.  The NDS admits that security operations have been infiltrated.  Regarding the city of Kabul, the NDS admitted there are only enough security personnel to monitor four access points at any one time, and the city has 26 access points.  Of course NDS administrators are using these claims to justify asking for more money.  As the NDS was asking for more money a Kamikaze car bomber blew up a group of Kabul City police after they tried to stop him from ramming a convoy of ANA-NATO troops.  One cop killed at least three wounded.  The European Union has extended its police ops in Afghanistan until the end of 2016.   EU members will be shelling out an additional 58-million Euros ($90-million USD) in taxes to pay for the European Union Police Mission in Afghanistan.

Kandahar Province: The provincial police chief has given the green light to local police to conduct cross border ops into Pakistan!  He claims it’s the only way they can stop attacks against his province from Pakistan.

Kapisa Provence: A motorcycle bomb targeted the provincial police HQ, the explosion wounding three cops and two civilians.

Kunar Province: In Dangam (aka Dankam) District, battles continue resulting in at least 62 people killed.  A local governor claims they’ve taken territory from the Mujahideen, however, Mujahideen claim they’ve captured nine FOBs.  Police report that a family of seven were killed when they drove over a landmine.

Laghman Province: In Dawlat Shah District, reports of artillery rockets hitting a house, killing a girl and wounding six other family members.

Nangarhar Province: In Jalalabad City, two explosions killed two cops and wounded five.  One bomb was place on a police vehicle, the other bomb was placed on the vehicle belonging to the local administrator in charge of passports.  Days later a ANA vehicle got stuck with a magnetic mine, the explosion killed at least one soldier, Mujahideen claim it was a top U.S. trained ANA special forces officer and that his three bodyguards were also killed.  In the Quram area of Shirzad District, a U.S.-NATO-Afghan drone strike killed at least 11 people in a truck.  In Achin District, battles resulted in at least six people being killed, 11 wounded.  It was a combined op of ANA, Afghan National Police and NDS against Mujahideen.

Sar-e-Pul Province: Police report they’ve arrested ten women who were building bombs for a Kamikaze attack.  The cops claim the women turned out to be “experts” and were trained in Pakistan.  Through interrogations of the women the police now believe there is a huge network of female Mujahideen.

Zabul Province: Mujahideen now claim Shahjoi District to be liberated from U.S. led occupation.

A Pakistani provincial governor is demanding that all Afghan refugees living in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province should be expelled back to Afghanistan by the end of January. He, and even Pakistan’s spy agency, believe the attack on the Pakistani army run school (that left at least 141 dead) was planned by Afghans.

The European country of Romania has promised to send an additional 450 military personnel to Afghanistan, to help support the continued U.S. led occupation.  This is on top of the 200 troops already scheduled to go.

A Reuters report says the overwhelming majority of the $108-Billion U.S. tax dollars (and counting) that was spent in Afghanistan went to “security building”.   Reuters says $61.54-billion went (supposedly) to fighting the ‘Taliban/Al Qaeda’ and building up a ‘western’ style Afghan military.

A Bloomberg report shows exactly where your hard paid taxes go to: The top ten Afghans!

Some excerpts from the report: “In the five years that Mullah Omar and his Taliban regime dominated Afghanistan, ‘foreign currency was rare. There probably wasn’t even $2 million in the market,’ says Khan Mohammad Baz, the bespectacled head of the currency exchange union at Sarai Shahzada, Afghanistan’s central exchange market. ‘By 2003 there was probably $1 billion circulating.’ These days, Baz says, about $20 million worth of business deals are made in a day. The central bank alone pumps about $60 million a week into the market to buy back the Afghan currency and keep it stable.”

“About 36 percent of Afghanistan’s 30 million people live below the poverty line. ‘If you ask people on the streets whether we have a billionaire, they will shrug and say no,’ says a senior Afghan economic official, who asked to remain anonymous because he is privy to sensitive information. ‘But I can tell you with confidence we have many. If the top 10 wealthy men in Afghanistan—I would say 9 of them products of the past 10 years—came together, they could buy this government, the bank, this whole system.'”

“He also helped deliver USAID cash to far-flung districts as part of a jobs program called Cash for Work. He started other businesses as well, importing Iranian biscuits and shampoo from Nimroz, a large border province and hub for smugglers, distributing the products across the country. He invested his earnings abroad, including putting $100,000 into a bakery in the United Arab Emirates. He had become rich—thanks to American spending.”

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) reports a 19% increase in civilian casualties since 2013, making 2014 the bloodiest year yet for the U.S. occupation.   The UN says children have become the main victims.

“This year alone, more local security forces (police and army) have been killed by attacks and in fighting than ever before: 6,000 alone by mid-November, which is more than in the previous 12 years combined. In addition, according to official figures, some 3,000 civilians have also been killed. However, the real figure is probably much higher.”-World Socialist Web Site

WikiLeaks has released a 2009 CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) report which declared HVT (High Value Target Assassination, usually by drone strike) to be “intermittent” at best, because the Mujahideen “…military structure blends a top-down command system with an egalitarian Afghan tribal structure that rules by consensus, making the group more able to withstand HVT operations… …has a high overall ability to replace lost leaders, a centralized but flexible command and control overlaid with egalitarian Pashtun structures, and good succession planning and bench strength, especially at the middle levels…”

The CIA report is very useful for those who rage against the machine, you should check it out by clicking here.

Did anybody pay attention to the ‘end of mission’ ceremony conducted by the U.S. led NATO?  It’s total proof that this is a ‘western Christian’ war against ‘eastern Islam’!  All the top NATO military administrators made it a public point to conduct a ‘western Christian’ style prayer service as part of the ‘end of mission’ ceremony, in plain view of all the Islamic Afghan dignitaries!  What happened to ‘separation of church and state’?

The Army National Guard’s 128th Mobile Public Affairs Department (Utah U.S.A.) returning from Afghanistan.

News reports say half of the Army National Guard’s 454th Engineer Company (Texas U.S.A.) returning from Afghanistan.

60 militiamen of the Army National Guard’s Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 169th General Support Aviation Battalion (Georgia U.S.A.) returning from Afghanistan.

The Army National Guard’s Bilateral Embedded Staff Team A13 (Illinois U.S.A. ) returning from Afghanistan.

The Army National Guard’s 1-230th Air Cavalry (pronounced Cav-all-ry, not cal-vary) Unit (Tennessee U.S.A.) returning from Afghanistan.  In February it was reported that the 1-230th will lose their Kiowa Warrior helicopters when they return. Major General Max Haston spoke out: “We’ve already taken significant reductions in the Air National Guard to the tune of about 200-250 people and now we’re getting ready to look at what’s going to happen to the Army National Guard. If the worst case in the Budget Control Act takes place, the state of Tennessee could lose anywhere from 8-12% of its national guardsmen. That concerns me for the security of this nation….”

U.S. Food Crisis, December 2014: “…we’ve hit the end!” No more Coca Cola? Famous burger joints shutdown on Xmas eve! Mystic make-over restaurant gets evicted? No beef in Montana, no thanks to ObamaCare? Even a Jackass (BBQ) says there ain’t no recovery!

Incomplete list of announced United States food supply shutdowns for the month of December, 2014: Many food suppliers/distributors are consolidating operations and killing jobs due to the collapsing grocery store and restaurant industries, as well as rising costs of food production.

California:  In Folsom, after only  two years Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill shutdown without explanation.   Jamba Juice revealed it will layoff 23 people (including three senior vice presidents) at its Emeryville support center in 2015.  Company administrators say the economic situation is forcing them to reduce costs.   Only a year after ‘expanding’ Berkeley founded Peet’s Coffee & Tea shutdown all six Ohio shops, plus three in Pennsylvania and two in Michigan, without warning! 70 jobs lost, company administrators said only that those stores “…are not performing to our sales expectations and didn’t have a promising future…” Peet’s also shutdown seven former Caribou Coffee House stores in August, killing off 150 jobs!  After eight years award winning restaurant Hatfield’s shutdown.  No explanation, but the owners swore they’d be back with a new restaurant.  In Rancho Mirage, Acqua Pazza California Bistro at The River shutdown due to not renewing the lease.  Jerry Keller, co-owner, pointed out how risky the restaurant business is saying “It’s been a great 10 years and when you think that 90% of restaurants here close in two years, that’s a pretty good run.”    In Santa Rosa, after nearly 40 years Arrigoni’s Deli & Cafe shutdown.   Safeway announced they will shutdown one of their  Vons grocery stores in Hemet by January 2015, at least 55 jobs lost.  And in Pleasanton, Safeway HQ will layoff at least 26 people by 13 February 2015, due to the takeover by Cerberus owned Albertsons.   Uniform and food service contractor Aramark issued several WARNs saying they are shutting down ops across the Golden State, at least 570 jobs lost!

Georgia: Atlanta based iconic Coca Cola announced it is cutting $100-million AUD from its Australian ops in 2015, killing off at least 250 jobs in the Land Down Under!  Coca Cola already killed off at least 157 Australian jobs for 2014!  But wait there’s more! Coca Cola is also killing off 2-thousand jobs in the United States, before the end of January 2015!  Company administrators say the U.S. economy is so bad they’re forced to cut $3-billion USD by 2019!

Dying food court (The Courtyard), only zombified Orange Julius and Mario's Pizza left. The obligatory pretzel joint moved to center court. Mrs. Powell's, Dairy Queen, the corn dog place and others all died.

Dying food court (The Courtyard), only zombified Orange Julius and Mario’s Pizza left. The obligatory pretzel joint moved to center court. Mrs. Powell’s, Dairy Queen, the corn dog place and others all died.

Idaho: In Chubbuck, Mario’s Pizza and Orange Julius announced they will shutdown their Pine Ridge Mall stores in 2015.  Local TV station KPVI said company administrators told them the economy was so bad in the Pocatello/Chubbuck area that it wasn’t worth keeping the decades old pizza joint and juice blender open any longer.

Illinois: In Chicago, anti-2nd Amendment Pepsi laid off an undisclosed number of North America Nutrition (Gatorade, Quaker, Tropicana) employees.  Pepsi also extended its cost cutting plan (originally to end in 2014) to 2019, saying it now needs to save $8-billion!  A Panera Bread store shutdown.  Company administrators said the city’s recent minimum wage hike, to $13 per hour over the next five years, was the final straw that broke their Beverly store’s back.  Rumors say the company will simply open a new store just outside city limits.  The owner of Beverly’s Original Rainbow Cone warned she is contemplating a similar decision.   In Urbana, after only one year a Kroger owned Ruler Foods discount grocery store shutdown without notice.  For some reason Kroger built three Ruler Foods stores in Urbana in the space of two years, apparently that was one too many.  Company administrators refused to talk to local news media.  In Mount Prospect, the owners of Randhurst Village shopping center forced the three years old The Billy Goat Tavern to shutdown. Basically the shopping center owners found a new tenant who’s willing to pay more in rent.  In Oregon city, after four years Jackass BBQ shutdown with little notice, the owner is pissed about the lack of any economic recovery, he’s now forced to auction off his personal tools: “Business is slow here in Oregon…Most people from Dixon do not drive here anymore….We will have lots of Craftsman tools and toolboxes, antiques, household items and furniture. We have a welder and oxygen acetylene cutting torches, along with several steel industrial work benches.”-Andy Riegel

Iowa:  In Cedar Rapids, after nine years Cranky Hank’s pizza joint shutdown.

Michigan:  Battle Creek based cereal maker Kellogg was forced by union members to admit they are shutting down two major cereal making factories.  It’s blamed on crashing cereal sales.  However, company administrators refuse to say which factories will die.

Minnesota: After only nine months Boneyard Kitchen and Bar shutdown, some customers told local news that they were not happy with the menu items.

Missouri:  In Kansas City, 65 years old Golden Ox steak restaurant shutdown.  News reports said the owner wanted to retire, but could his retirement have been influenced by the skyrocketing prices of beef?  In Florissant, after 95 years (surviving the Great Depression and numerous recessions) Yacovelli’s Restaurant to shutdown on New Year’s Day.  In Columbia, the Marconi Grill shutdown without notice.  A local news source discovered it when they spotted moving vans at the property.  Reports said a few months ago it was rumored the restaurant would close, but employees said it was for remodeling. Those loyal employees are now eating crow, as competing restaurants are now being flooded with applications from former Marconi Grill employees.

Montana: The state’s Department of Livestock warned of layoffs and unpaid furloughs due to increased spending on brucellosis testing on cows, and increased employee insurance and retirement funding mandated by Obama Care!  To make things worse, state administrators have actually cut overall funding for the Department of Livestock.

New Jersey: Rumors that after 15 years Stanley’s Prime Meat Market shutdown.  In Hoboken, after 78 years Helmers’ Restaurant shutdown.  Reports say the German themed restaurant has been in trouble ever since a fire in 2006.  The property owner has reportedly rented out the space to a new tenant at $15-thousand per month!

New York: In Ithaca, after more than 40 years Manos Diner shutdown.  The news was revealed by an employee.

North Carolina: In Willmington, Golden Corral all you can eat at the Monkey Junction shutdown without notice on 29 December.  Local news reports said company administrators wouldn’t talk to them, but an employee said sales had crashed.  In Fayetteville, after 57 years Vick’s Drive-In restaurant shutdown by the North Carolina Department of Transportation to make way for the rerouting of the nearby Rowan Street bridge.

Ohio:    In Waverly, 78 years old Lake White Club restaurant shutdown.  After months of spending money on renovations, the bad economy forced the current owners to put the restaurant up for auction in October, but nobody bid on it.  Iconic White Castle burger joint shutting down all five restaurants in Cleveland and Akron!  To top it off, they’re being shutdown on Xmas eve!  Administrators of the family owned burger joint says the economy is so bad in Cleveland and Akron that they can’t afford to continue operating in those cities.  In Lakewood, the World of Beer bar shutdown, apparently with no explanation.  In Hilliard, after only two years the Auddino’s Bakery & Cafe on Fishinger Boulevard shutdown.  The bakery owners say the property owners didn’t promote the business as promised.

Oregon: In Ashland, only one month after getting a Restaurant Impossible TV show make-over Mystic Treats shutdown, without explanation.  Prior to the make-over the landlord was in the process of evicting Mystic Treats.  In Portland, after 35 years the Hunan Restaurant shutdown “Due to personal health issues”.

Pennsylvania:  In Kingston, after more than four years the owners of Vanderlyn’s Restaurant announced that New Year’s Eve is their last day of operations.  They said they need more “family time”.  In Centre County, after nearly 100 years (surviving the Great deflationary Depression and numerous recessions) the Mount Nittany Inn shutdown. The restaurant has been for sale for the past three years, but nobody wants to buy. A co-owner blames the lack of ‘recovery’ and evil Too Big to Jail banks: “We tried our best! There just isn’t enough cash flow….”-Nancy Silvis

Tennessee: After 17 years the GollyWhoppers sandwich shop shutdown the day before xmas.

Utah: In Ogden, after 38 years the family owners of Sandy’s Fine Foods restaurant announced they will shutdown by the end of the month.  It will end with a yard sale of restaurant memorabilia.  The family will focus on their catering business.

Vermont:  In Burlington, after five years Das Bierhaus German restaurant shutdown: “Renewal time had come and, as the dust of negotiations and exploring other options settled, I was fortunate enough to have been presented with an offer I could not refuse.”-Nick Karabelas, owner

Virginia: After only seven months Dash Kitchen & Carry restaurant shutdown! The owners admitted they were ignorant of the bad economy saying “…we misjudged the demand for it in that market and failed….Dash will either be sold ….or will be reimagined…”  In King George, after 18 years the owner of Howard’s Bakery & Restaurant announced they will shutdown after Xmas.  Local news reports said the owner blamed the past three years of suck-ass sales.  In Richmond, the co-owner of ‘adult themed’ Tiki Bob’s club announced they will shutdown in February 2015, blaming competition and lazy city administrators:  “After 16 years we’ve hit the end! You see all the great food and stuff going on in Richmond. There’s no more room for just a club anymore. I’ve waited a year for the city to get the ballpark. I can’t wait any longer….I don’t know if I want to put another 200-300k in the bottom without the city doing anything down here.”-Erik Brockdorff

Wisconsin:  In Madison, after 22 years Jolly Bob’s Caribbean restaurant shutdown.  The owner, Tim Erickson, blamed the lack of economic recovery: “The last five years have been really difficult, not that the first 17 years were easy, but especially the last five years have been really tough. And I’m not a young man anymore.”

U.S. Food Crisis, November 2014

Sears & Kmart closing update, 31 December 2014: Sears & Kmart accused of selling stolen children’s clothing! A secret Kmart closing revealed! Executive officer involved with killing off other retailers?

Lawyers for a California based clothing supplier have filed a suit against Sears Holdings saying that since 2010 Sears “routinely and deliberately” stopped payment after clothing orders were shipped out.   The defunct clothing maker formerly known as Sprockets (now being called SCI Apparel) says they’re owed almost $4-million USD!  Essentially, Sears Holdings sold children’s clothing they never paid for!

A four decades old South Carolina Kmart to shutdown in January 2015.  Interestingly this shutdown actually began back in November, but only now is being publicly reported (because they finally put up the “store closing sale” signs).  A local news report said employees were ordered not to tell anybody about the shutdown.

The day before Xmas it was revealed that the Executive Vice President and President, Online, Marketing, Pricing and Financial Services (aka e-commerce) for Sears Holdings issued his resignation.  The guy was listed as a top executive with Sears Holdings, but that he was pursuing other interests.  But wait there’s more!  This guy, Imran Jooma, worked as the e-commerce executive for the now long dead Circuit City, and the now merged with Office Depot and shutting down stores left and right OfficeMax!   In other words, this guy might have been involved with the destruction of two other major retail operations before he was hired by Sears Holdings.

QZ8501 proof that MH370 was False Flag op!

30 December 2014 (14:15 UTC-07 Tango)/08 Rab al’Awwal 1436/09 Dey 1393/09 Bing-Zi (11th month) 4712

The discovery of bodies and debris, just days after AirAsia (Airbus 320-216)  QZ8501 disappeared, is more proof that Malaysia Airlines (Boeing 777-200) MH370 didn’t crash into the ocean.

Administrators in charge of the search for QZ8501 confirm that at least ten pieces of the plane have been found along with luggage and bodies.  So far no debris, luggage or bodies have been found in connection to MH370, which disappeared in March 2014.  Taxpayers in dozens of countries are still paying for the ongoing search for MH370.

crash of new expensive U.S. Air Traffic Control computers revealed to be False Flag op!

Obama first to say where MH370 went, last to offer condolences!

if there ain’t no wreckage then the plane ain’t there!

Pennsylvania: UniTek Global Services now chapter 11 bankrupt busted and is preparing to be taken over by creditors.

Texas: In Houston, Too Big to Jail Capital One announced it will layoff 100 ‘processing’ employees during the 1st quarter of 2015!

30-31-october-2014

The U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) doesn’t count the hundreds of layoffs involving less than 50 people each, in its mass layoff reports. It also doesn’t count all the little ‘mom & pop’ businesses that shutdown. It doesn’t count people who get a severance for being laid off.

Regarding the school bombing in Pakistan, Afghan Mujahideen suggest it was a False Flag op by government personnel saying  “…Taliban have no voice. The so called spokespersons & statements are from the foreign intelligence services…”  Remember, it was a Pakistan Army run school, so how could such an attack be so successful (141 people killed)?

160 militia-personnel of the Army National Guard’s 136th Engineer Company (Maine U.S.A. ) notified that they will be deploying to Kuwait in 2016, in support of operations in Afghanistan.

A Reuters report says Afghanistan wants international taxpayers to give them a $537-million USD bailout loan, or better yet, grant!   Another report says many ‘up to date’ Afghans now get paid in one of two main ways; check or PayPal.  The problem with PayPal is that it refuses to deposit money directly into Afghan banks.  Afghans must go through a third party called PayOneer in order to get their money from PayPal.  A Kamikaze bomber attacked Estiqlal High School, killing one German and wounding ten Afghans.  Estiqal is the second oldest private school in Kabul City, managed by the the French Foreign Ministry.  A report reveals the possible reason for attacks on schools; privatization.  It’s called operation Private Education Institutions (PEI) and critics say it will create a huge social class divide.  They also claim that privatization of schools is only undertaken by failed state systems.  An Afghan foreign minister claims Iran will provide 500 university scholarships per year for Afghans to study in Iran.  Outgoing U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel made a surprise visit and announced that the Obama regime will keep at least 10800 personnel in-country through 2015, that’s 1-thousand more than first promised.  Hagel then swore that there will be only 5-thousand U.S. personnel in-country by the end of 2015.  Hagel revealed the Obama regime’s so called troop reduction plan is being delayed because other NATO members are not willing to take up the slack (in other words, the overall NATO troop levels are supposed to be unchanged).    From January to November more than 46-hundred Afghan government personnel have been sacrificed for the United States, making 2014 the “bloodiest year” yet for the U.S. occupation of Afghanistan.  NATO’s International Joint Command (IJC) officially ended operations: “IJC will be subsumed into a coalition that is soon downsizing to about 13-thousand personnel.”-U.S. General John F. Campbell.

Kandahar Province: In Maiwand District, Mujahideen attacked a police compound killing at least 10 people.

Laghman Province: In Alishang District, just days after villagers reported that government security contractors (mercenaries) assassinated several people in a taxi, local government administrators reported they called in a U.S.-NATO airstrike (drone).  Two missiles were fired at a home, killing four people.

Nangarhar Province: In Haska Mina District, local police say four people were killed by unknown gunmen. In Bati Kot District, a Toyota Corolla was car-jacked, with everybody inside.  Mujahideen claim they successfully chased down the car and rescued the occupants.

Nuristan Province: In Waigal District, local government administrators reported they called in a U.S.-NATO airstrike (drone), killing six people and wounding dozens more.

Parwan Province: In Ghorband District, the villagers of Syagard report that a U.S.-NATO drone attacked a group of teenagers, killing five of them.  However, NATO administrators swear the group of teenagers were actually militants and that they killed 17 of them!  To make things more convoluted, unnamed local government administrators in Shenwari District say a U.S.-NATO drone strike killed at least 12 people.   The U.S. Obama regime claims to have shutdown their infamous Bagram prison.  The Obama regime also claims the U.S. is no longer detaining anybody in Afghanistan, but that’s because the U.S. is now transferring their prisoners out-of-country.

In a U.S. federal court in the state of Pennsylvania, two food contractors pled guilty to war profiteering.  Switzerland based Supreme Foodservice GmbH and United Arab Emirates based Supreme Foodservice FZE overcharged U.S. taxpayers in providing food for their military personnel, by as much as 125%!  The two contractors used a third company (JAFCo) in a shell game to hide the exorbitant markups.  The contractors were fined only $389-million, and prohibited from doing business with the U.S. government for only five years.

New Mexico: In Albuquerque, after 41 years Dee’s Cheesecake Factory restaurant shutdown.

New York: More proof the internet is not the cause of the demise of brick-n-mortar stores: Internet seller vente-privee issued a WARN saying they will cease their NYC ops in January 2015, at least 133 jobs lost!  Nutritional supplements maker NBTY issued a WARN saying they are getting rid of dozens of their in-house janitors at their Holbrook, Bohemia, Bayport and Ronkonkoma operations by January 2015.  The Visiting Nurse Service of New York Home Care (VNSNY) added more people to their Obama Care job culling; dozens of healthcare workers at 13 locations will become jobless in January 2015.

North Carolina: In Durham, after 37 years Leo’s Seafood shutdown. The old owners blame the skyrocketing cost of fish, saying “Fish used to be one of the cheapest meats you could buy, it’s not like that anymore!” By the way neither one of the owner’s name is Leo.

Ohio: RockTenn announced it’s shutting down their 7 decades old Oakley cardboard factory at the end of December, at least 63 jobs lost.  Company administrators blame new EPA rules, saying it’s not worth it to upgrade the factory to meet the new regulations.

Virginia:  In Manassas, after 49 years iconic Kline’s Freeze soft serve ice cream shop killed off by greedy property owner: “We have been informed by our landlord that the Kline’s Freeze property is being sold. It’s all part of Amgen’s plans to kill off a total of 29-hundred jobs by the end of 2015!

Wisconsin: CNH (aka CASE, International Harvester, New Holland) is joining competitor Deere and shutting down farm tractor production.  150 second shift employees will become unemployed on 01 December, at the Mount Pleasant factory!  Xten Industries issued a WARN saying they’re selling off their plastic molding factory in Kenosha, resulting in 120 people becoming unemployed between December 2014 and January 2015!   What’s interesting is Xten has been declared to be a fast growing company (150% from 2012-13!). Reports I read said company administrators refused to say why they were selling off their Kenosha factory.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) doesn’t count the hundreds of layoffs involving less than 50 people each, in its mass layoff reports. It also doesn’t count all the little ‘mom & pop’ businesses that shutdown. It doesn’t count people who get a severance for being laid off.
