Opium production in Afghanistan hits record levels, again! Blame the United States and United Kingdom

In 2001, liar, and former Prime Minister of U.K., Tony Blair said: “The arms the Taliban are buying today are paid for by the lives of young British people buying their drugs on British streets. This is another part of their regime we should seek to destroy.”

According to the United Nations, right now 90% of the drugs on the streets of Britain come from Afghanistan.  In 2001, 185 tons of opium was shipped out of Afghanistan, in 2011 it hit 5,800 tons!!!

In the last few years Russia and Iran have openly blamed the United States for increased drug trafficking out of Afghanistan.

Since the United States is the boss in Afghanistan, then shouldn’t they have a handle on the opium trade?  The latest numbers from the UN proves the United States must be complicit in drug dealing, in order for such a huge record setting increase in opium production to take place.  Either that, or the United States actually has no control over anything that goes on in Afghanistan!

Some idiot warmongers are using the increasing opium numbers to justify keeping U.S. and European forces in Afghanistan, yet those drug numbers are up precisely because the U.S. and Europeans are there!

Resolution against Syria passes UN General Assembly, France pushes for new Security Council Resolution

The United Nations General Assembly passed a non-binding resolution calling for Syria’s president to step down.  However, since it is non-binding the UN can not force the issue.

France is making a new push for a new UN Security Council resolution.  This new resolution is focusing on using UN Peacekeeping forces to enforce access to humanitarian aid.  Russia might support such a resolution.

12 countries voted against the UN General Assembly resolution. They are: Bolivia, Belarus, Cuba, China, Ecuador, Iran, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Venezuela and Zimbabwe.

15 countries abstained: Angola, Armenia, Fiji, Cameroon, Comoros, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Saint Vincent, Suriname, Tanzania, Tuvalu, Uganda and Vietnam.

Red Horse & Evil United States: U.S. backed Libyan Rebels make Gaddafi look good

“A year ago Libyans risked their lives to demand justice. Today their hopes are being jeopardized by lawless armed militias who trample human rights with impunity.”-Donatella Rovera, Amnesty International

Amnesty International has documented cases of torture and murder of Libyans, by the U.S. and European backed rebel forces.

A year ago the United States, and European countries, revealed their support for rebellion in Libya.  The reason, they claimed, was to bring freedom and stop human rights violations.  A year later Amnesty International says things are even worse under the rule of the U.S. backed rebels!

“Militias in Libya are largely out of control and the blanket impunity they enjoy only encourages further abuses and perpetuates instability and insecurity.”-Donatella Rovera, Amnesty International

In the past few weeks Amnesty International visited prisons in Libya.  They found people who had been tortured to the point of confessing to crimes they did not commit.  They also found evidence that at least 12 people had been tortured to death.  The torture included beatings and electrocutions.  So much for the promise of U.S. style freedom and an end to human rights violations!

Observers even witnessed the torture, that’s how confident the U.S. backed rebels feel.  They saw people being beaten mercilessly, one rebel doing the beating said it’s that or kill the prisoners: “…those from Tawargha will not be released or we’ll kill them.”

Rebels are taking revenge on the people of Tawargha, for their support of Gaddafi.  The ineffectual, and U.S. backed, Trans National Council government is not doing anything to stop rebel militias from wanton tortures and killings.

Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other.

Iran unveils homemade Nuclear Fuel Rods, Nuclear Drugs, Nuclear Cake and 3,000 new Centrifuges

A few days ago Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, said he would reveal Iran’s latest nuclear achievements.

Today, it was revealed that Iran makes its own nuclear fuel rods, radio-pharmaceuticals, and has added 3,000 centrifuges to its program to produce enriched uranium.

Iranian made nuclear fuel rods were placed in the Tehran Research Reactor.  The fuel rods were made under the supervision of the International Atomic energy Agency.  This is the last step in Iran’s nuclear fuel cycle.

Iran has also increased the number of centrifuges from 6,000 to 9,000.  This increases Iran’s ability to make uranium “yellow cake” by 50%.  Iranian officials say that their Isfahan Uranium Conversion Facility is under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Iran has also begun production of several pharmaceutical drugs using radio isotopes (like cancer treatment drugs).

Iran says they don’t trust the latest negative reports from the IAEA, preciously because the IAEA has been openly watching their nuclear program, and has never lodged a formal complaint directly with the Iranian government.

World War 3: Iranian media reports suggest that Iran is about to cut off oil to 6 European countries, lack of Human Rights in Europe being blamed

February 15, 2012, confusing reports in the Iranian media.  Unofficial sources (like PressTV, it is not an official Iranian media source) are saying that Iran has blocked oil shipments to six European countries.

However, official sources (like Islamic Republic News Agency [IRNA]) say only that ambassadors from six European countries have been summed to the Iranian government, to discuss “issues”.

The six countries are Italy, Spain, France, Greece, Portugal, and Netherlands.

The IRNA is quoting Iran’s Director General of West Europe Affaires at Foreign Ministry, Hassan Tajik: “Our response is that sanctions cannot affect Iranians’ will, rather, it will have an adverse impact on European people. Europe is in a difficult economic condition and is facing a harsh winter. Iran cannot remain indifferent towards EU oil ban. We do not have any problem in terms of finding customers for our oil and selling it to other countries. However, based on humanitarian policies and given the conditions of European countries, we have decided to send a serious message to the Europeans which are parties to oil contracts. We can instantly replace oil customers.”

In other words it seems like Iran has identified which European countries it would cut off, and has given them warning, but they have not actually cut off the oil at this point.

It’s interesting that Iran is implying that violation of human rights within Europe is a main factor in their decision to possibly cut off the oil.

White Horse, Red Horse & World War 3: More proof the United States is in bed with al Qaeda, al Qaeda supports war on Syria!

I’ve pointed out in other postings how more and more evidence is coming out that supports conspiracy theorist’s claims that al Qaeda works for the United States.

How about this one: al Qaeda just announced they support the West’s war on Syria!   “Continue your revolt and anger, don’t accept anything else apart from independent, respectful governments.”-Ayman al-Zawahri, successor of Osama bin Laden

A Middle East analyst told Russian media that al Qaeda and the U.S. are definitely working together: “It seems that al Qaeda and the Western bloc are working in the same way and they have the same target, which is to destroy the regime in Syria and to collapse it.  Al Qaeda never denied its presence in Syria.  Al Qaeda never denied its support of insurgents in Syria.”-Hisham Jaber, Center for Middle East Studies

Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other.

I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

White Horse & World War 3: Pentagon wants “urgent” upgrade for MAP Bombs, for use against Iran

“…are trying to ensure that 20 of the bombs are battle ready, possibly for use against Iran, though officials have been tight lipped on potential targets.”-Fox News

The Wall Street Journal reported that the 30,000 pound bunker buster bombs, known as Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MAP), were designed especially for use against Iran.  The 20 MAP bombs have already cost U.S. taxpayers $330 million!

Now Boeing, the contractor who makes the bombs, says they aren’t good enough and need to be upgraded!  Pentagon officials say it’s “urgent”, which implies they need the MAP bombs upgraded right now, for war with Iran.

Congress agreed to spend another $82 million to upgrade the MAPs.

I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

White Horse & World War 3: Germany wants war with Syria

Germany’s Defense Minister, Thomas de Maiziere, basically said in an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine that war is the only option for Syria: “The actions of the Syrian government against the people must be condemned internationally with a resolution of the United Nations….must isolate Assad….we must help the opposition in Syria.”

Maiziere says Germany and other countries do have the right to go to war with Syria: “International law does provide for a right to intervene to protect people in other countries against the violence of the rulers.”   (you think that might happen to the U.S. if Obama starts using his Republican Congress sanctioned national military police?)

I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

World War 3: Germany & Turkey say Israeli war against Iran will be disastrous

Germany’s Defense Minister, Thomas de Maiziere, said in an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine that if Israel attacks Iran’s nuclear industry: “A success would be highly unlikely, and result in obvious political damage.”

Maiziere said the European Union sanctions should be allowed to go into effect before any military action takes place.  The EU sanctions will not be in place until July 2012.

Turkish officials also say war would be a mistake: “A military strike is a disaster. It should not be an option. Especially at a historic turning point in our region, we do not want to see another huge tension.”-Ahmet Davutoglu, Turkish Foreign Minister

War Were Declared (almost): Arab League wants war, demands the United Nations invade Syria! Russia demands to see proof of AL claims!

February 12, 2012, the Arab League (AL) is calling for an end to “all forms of diplomatic cooperation”, and “tighter economic sanctions”.  Instead they want war with Syria!

In a new AL resolution, they are demanding military action by the United Nations. The resolution also says all forms of communication with Syrian rebels should be opened up.  (‘communications’ is a military term that also means supplies, like weapons and ammo)

Saudi Foreign Minister, Saud al-Faisal, backs that up saying the AL should “give all forms of support” to the rebels.

Russia doubts the sincerity of the Arab League, and says the AL observers weren’t in Syria long enough to collect viable evidence: “We would like to know why they are treating such a useful instrument in this way. I would support an increased number of observers. We are surprised that after a decision was taken on prolonging the observers’ mission for another month, some countries, particularly Persian Gulf countries, recalled their observers from the mission.”-Sergei Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister

The AL’s resolution will be presented to the UN on the same day that the Human Rights Commission is to make their report, February 13.  It’s been reported that the Human Rights Commission will make charges of war crimes against the Syrian government.  (think we’d see such charges brought against the U.S. government?)

The UN General Assembly could go around the UN Security Council, on the grounds of human rights violations.  Russia and China vetoed the UNSC resolution against Syria.
