It has been more than a decade since I hiked up the City Creek Trails in Pocatello, Idaho. I had gotten out of shape and gained a lot of weight, but I’ve recently lost some weight and felt like getting back on the trails. Unfortunately I discovered that my favorite part of the trail is now permanently closed to allow for ‘natural restoration’:

Model Gift Build: LATE #4 IS DONE, BAD REVELL, BAD!
On 22MAR2024, my middle daughter Aryssa, along with my dog Struppi (and I) took a hike through the thawing Cherry Springs Nature Area, in Southeastern Idaho.
The Cherry Springs Nature Area is part of the larger multi-state Caribou-Targhee National Forest (Idaho, Montana, Utah & Wyoming), and is located in the Westside Ranger District of Southeastern Idaho. It is two miles of hiking trails, a north trail and a south trail.
There was a heavy-wet snow storm a few weeks prior, causing power poles and trees across the region to snap, the South Trail was littered with downed branches and trees:

I went through U.S. Army basic training in 1982 (Fort ‘Lost-in-the-Woods’, Missouri), and at the end of a rough day the Drill Sergeants would yell “Attitude check!”, and we would always respond “Fuck it!”. In many ways those were better days than today.
On the 15th-16th of March 2024, Idaho State University (ISU)-College of Technology Automotive Program held its ‘Chrome in the Dome’ car show. This is just a couple of the many Hot-Rods in the show.

The United Nations’ Human Rights Council (UNHRC) passed a resolution banning “the sale, transfer and diversion of arms, munitions and other military equipment to Israel, the occupying Power…to prevent further violations of international humanitarian law and violations and abuses of human rights.”
Resolution A/HRC/55/L.30 also denounces the use of artificial intelligence (A-I) in combat as it might be a cause of international human rights crimes.
But the UNHRC is a paper tiger, any resolution adopted by the UNHRC has no legal standing.
28 UNHRC countries voted in favor, six against (including the United States), and 13 abstentions.

More proof God is Evil as Israeli military leaders are now blaming their never ending, and obviously specifically targeted, war-crime attacks on civilian charities operating in Gaza.
The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) is calling their Artificial Intelligence (A-I) assassination machine ‘Lavender’. They admit the computer brain ‘Lavender’ has an error rate of ten percent!
Did an Israeli program Lavender to consider everybody in Gaza as a terrorist? Remember, A-I is created by humans.
According to a British news media report, apparently the IDF’s A-I terminator system labeled the 37-thousand Gazans, so far killed, as all being ‘Hamas’! The report also claims that IDF intelligence officers using Lavender were told it was okay to kill civilians!
Knowing this, it becomes insulting when IDF officials now claim the deliberate targeting of U.S.-based charity World Central Kitchen (WCK) was a mistake! The convoy of food workers were not in a crowded area, they were clearly marked, they had been in communication with IDF troops, and yet they were attacked several times (three times by IDF drones) by the IDF, before finally being killed!
WCK founder José Andrés demands and investigation, and states the food workers were “targeted deliberately, nonstop”:
The IDF’s own website claims A-I is “the Key to Modern-Day Survival.”

In December 2023, The Guardian reported on an IDF A-I system called ‘The Gospel’, which was being blamed for turning Gaza into an “assassination factory”!
In March 2023, a Lieber Institute-West Point article stated that the IDF was using A-I “to determine if a target is a military or a civilian one.”
The Jerusalem Post, February 2023: IDF Unit 8200 Data Science revealed to have used experimental A-I to kill at least two people in Gaza, in May 2021.

We would like to thank Assistant Secretary-General for the Middle East Khaled Khiari for his speech detailing yesterday’s events in Damascus.
Switzerland condemns the air strike against the Iranian consulate in Damascus, which killed and injured several people. This strike considerably increases the risk of a major escalation in the region. The spiral of escalation must stop immediately. This includes a halt to militia attacks in the region and the implementation of Resolution 2728 demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Switzerland also recalls that Resolution 2254 calls for a national ceasefire in Syria.
We call on all parties and those with influence over them to exercise the utmost restraint. All channels of communication must be used to avoid any misunderstandings. A single miscalculation can have
disastrous consequences. A further deterioration in the situation must be avoided, and we collectively have the means to prevent it.
