The United Nations’ Human Rights Council (UNHRC) passed a resolution banning “the sale, transfer and diversion of arms, munitions and other military equipment to Israel, the occupying Power…to prevent further violations of international humanitarian law and violations and abuses of human rights.”

Resolution A/HRC/55/L.30 also denounces the use of artificial intelligence (A-I) in combat as it might be a cause of international human rights crimes.

But the UNHRC is a paper tiger, any resolution adopted by the UNHRC has no legal standing.  

28 UNHRC countries voted in favor, six against (including the United States), and 13 abstentions.
