United Police States of America: Video shows rich White cops hunting poor black man in New York

Almost reminiscent of the British killer cops who started riots in poor London suburbs by killing an unarmed father, white New York City cops intentionally stalked a poor black man, and it was caught on video.

Ramarley Graham, 18, died last Thursday after NYPD broke into his grandmother’s home, went upstairs and held his grandmother at gunpoint, in the bathroom, while they shot her unarmed grandson point blank in the chest!

Officially the cops said Graham was running from a drug bust, however the apartment’s security camera video shows Graham calmly walking into the apartment.  Suddenly two cops run from around a corner and start kicking the door.  One cop is trying to conceal his identity with is hat and hoodie.  Witnesses say the cops never identified themselves.  The racists cops had their guns drawn almost from the beginning.

The liar cops also said, just like in the London case last year, that Graham had a gun as well as drugs.  One cop was said to be heard yelling “gun, gun” just before they shot Graham.  Guess what? No gun or drugs were found on Graham, or in his grandmother’s home!!!

United Police States of America: Anonymous political cartoonist to be arrested for posting cartoons about bad cops

Mr Fiddlesticks is wanted by the Renton Police Department, in Washington state.  The anonymous cartoon poster’s crime?  Stalking police by making cartoon parodies of real life cases of bad police behavior.

A local Washington media source broke the story.  The actual court documents show that the local police department is simply out to avenge the parodying of actual cases of cops who got caught misbehaving: “…discussed a past incident that has already been investigated….regarding a dating relationship (a female detective) had with a suspect.”-from the actual search warrant

An attorney who specializes in cyber law says the police action is pathetic and the case won’t stand up in court: “The cyberstalking angle doesn’t pass the laugh test.  It’s a serious stretch and I’d be surprised if somebody looked at it and realistically thought these acts actually fit the statute and we could make somebody criminally liable.”-Venkat Balasubramani

This tells me that the Renton Police Department are afraid that Mr Fiddlesticks might reveal some bad cop behavior that has yet to be made public, and they want to stop him before it happens.

British bobbies (police) could have the power to charge, just skip arrest go directly to jail

In a move to save government money, some British officials want to put the power of the courts in the hands of the police.

British Home Secretary Theresa May,  says the plan could save the U.K. 2.5 million hours of bobby time, equating to huge savings of money for the government.  The way she wants to do that is to allow bobbies to skip the patrolling, detaining and arresting phase of police work, and allow the cops to simply charge the suspects, like a hybrid police/prosecutor.

It would apply to minor offenses, but the radical changes go beyond allowing police to act as street prosecutor.  Anybody wanting to file a complaint about the legal system would have to deal directly with a bobby.  The intent of forcing people to deal directly with police, with legal issues, is to reduce court costs for the government. May admits this would put a lot more power with the police, and is a definite move towards a police state: “We will take a different approach, we will trust the police.”

Officials with the British Shadow government  (yes, such a thing, aka Shadow Cabinet or Shadow Front Bench) say this will not only put a lot more power in police hands, but with a lot less police officers.  Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper (May’s counterpart) says that May plans to fire thousands of bobbies under the police/prosecutor plan.  The result of giving police the power to act as prosecutor, and then cutting police staff, will greatly increase the work load of the bobby.  Cooper says this will act as a double whamming for security; people will feel even more threatened by the power of police, and and the cops will be stretched thin.
