What Economic Recovery? One step closer to One World Government, IMF proposes international co-op, hints at Global Great Depression

“It’s not a crisis that will be resolved by one group of countries taking action. It’s going to be hopefully resolved by all countries, all regions, all categories of countries actually taking action.”-Christine Lagarde, IMF Managing Director

The director of the International Monetary Fund made that comment in a U.S. State Department conference on December 15.  Christine Lagarde also used the word “retraction” which is another way of saying economic depression.

Lagarde said she is greatly concerned because recent efforts to ‘save’ Europe have failed, and there is growing economic protectionism, and political isolationism, which will only make the global economy worse.  These are all things that helped cause the Great Depression of the 1920s-1930s.

She is calling for a new global financial co-operative system to prevent the coming Global Great Depression.

World War 3: Canada pulls out of Kyoto environmental pact, blames U.S. & China. Durban Deal a failure? Japan may be forced to follow Canada’s lead.

“The Kyoto Protocol does not include the world’s two largest emitters, the United States and China, therefore it can not work!”-Peter Kent, Environment Minister of Canada

Canada is the first country to officially exit from the Kyoto environmental protocols.  This follows the end of the second round of ‘Kyoto’ (aka COP 17) talks in South Africa.

The COP 17 talks acknowledged that the goals set at Kyoto would most likely not be met, and they extended the deadline for those goals to 2018.  This latest round of talks is being referred to as the ‘Durban Deal’.

Edna Molewa, UN Water and Environmental Affairs Minister, called the Durban deal a “watershed” moment.  However, Canada is raining on that moment, and Japan has been warning of leaving the Kyoto Protocol as well.

“The Kyoto Protocol is not the right path.”-Masahiko Horie, envoy from Japan

Japan can no longer meet all the agreed upon goals because of the fact that 85% of their nuclear plants are shut down, or damaged.  Even before the loss of so many nuclear plants (for various reasons) Japan was still the number 5 polluter in the world!  Think what will happen as they switch back to electricity generated by coal and petroleum fueled power plants.

The following countries either refuse to take part, have quit, or are threatening to quit the Kyoto Protocol: Brazil, India, New Zealand, Russia, Japan, Canada, China (number 1 polluter) and the United States (number 2 polluter).

World War 3: Proof that war with Iran is a done deal; British & Canadian Media begin official War Propaganda

Media sources in the United Kingdom and Canada (members of the Commonwealth, aka British Empire) have upped their pro-war rhetoric against Iran.

Reports said that Iran was preparing forces for “potential external strikes”, and that Iran was “isolated” from the rest of the world (despite the fact that Russia and China have repeatedly told the U.S. and U.K. to stay out of Iran).

Other statements and terms include “war on Iran a step closer”and “Plans for a US strike are currently being drawn up”.

Apparently the Commonwealth media are basing their claims on official statements like the one made by the U.S. State Department’s arms advisor Robert Einhorn: “The U.S. favours a diplomatic solution but, if we cannot achieve it soon, inevitably interests will grow in a different kind of solution.”

What else could a statement like that mean?

Government Incompetence & World War 3: Russia & China say the West is foolish to ask them to embargo Iranian oil! China willing to fight for it!

Russia and China have said they will not join any embargo of Iranian oil.  For Russia the reason is simple: “…we are not consuming Iranian oil at all!”-Sergei Shmatko, Energy Minister of Russia

You’d think the leaders of Canada, the U.K. and U.S. (the countries pushing for an embargo of Iranian oil) would already know that.

For China the reason is personal: “Iran is a very important supplier of oil for China. I believe there would be a massive conflict between America’s prohibition from, and China’s interest in, the Iranian crude. China won’t certainly do what the United States says!” He Jun, Anbound Information Consultancy

Put it another way; China is willing to go to war over it!

Corporate Hypocrisy: FMC spends money to take over companies that clean up pollution, yet refuses to clean up Idaho Super Fund site? FMC issues millions in debt notes, to join the growing trend of stock buybacks by Corporate America.

From 1949 to 2001, U.S. based FMC operated a phosphorus processing plant in southeastern Idaho, just west of Pocatello and Chubbuck.  Ten years later that plant is now an EPA Superfund site, and locals are still waiting for FMC to clean it up!

The hypocrisy is that FMC has been going around spending money buying up companies that specialize in environmental clean up!  The most recent purchase was Canada’s Adventus Intellectual Property: “Adventus presents an exceptional opportunity for FMC to broaden its growing portfolio of advanced specialty solutions serving the global site remediation market.”-Mark Douglas, FMC Industrial Chemicals

FMC site, west of Pocatello and Chubbuck, south of Fort Hall Reservation

So if FMC can buy up companies that specialize in environmental clean up, why can’t FMC clean up it’s old phosphorus plant in southeastern Idaho?

FMC claims to have annual sales of approximately $3.1 billion!  Yet FMC has just completed the sale of U.S.$300 million worth of debt notes.  Why does it need to do that?  According to FMC officials they’re jumping on the new trend of Corporate America buying back their stocks.  FMC wants to buy back at least $200 million of their own shares!  Instead, shouldn’t they spend that on cleaning up their Idaho Superfund site?

Recently the Environmental Protection Agency held public meetings in southeastern Idaho, to discuss ways to clean up the old FMC site.  Capped ponds at the site are emitting toxic phosphine gas.  There was also decades of dumping before the EPA was created. There is concern that contamination is leaking into the ground water, and nearby rivers.

Media Incompetence: Some media calling new flu outbreak H1N1 Swine Flu, FAIL! The new flu is an old version of H3N2

Recently several media outlets have reported that people in the midwestern U.S. have been infected with H1N1 swine flu.  They’ve even reported that instead of spreading from pigs to humans, it’s spreading human to human.

Well that’s because it isn’t H1N1!  According to the United Nations World Health Organization, and the U.S. Center for Disease Control, it’s an influenza A virus of the H3N2 subtype, a type of flu virus that circulates between humans.

Since July 2011, 10 people in the United States have been infected with it.  Why are some media outlets reporting it as H1N1?  If you read the USA Today, and ABC News articles, you’ll notice that H3N2 is only briefly mentioned.  For some reason the articles focus on the 2009 scare caused by H1N1.  More text is dedicated to talking about H1N1 than to this latest form of H3N2.  Call it a case of fear mongering by the U.S. media.

The problem is some international media outlets have picked up the story as an new outbreak of H1N1!

Corporate & Government Incompetence: Fake parts found in U.S. military weapons! Blame China, Canada & Britain

“…just the tip of the iceberg.”-Carl Levin, U.S. Senator from Michigan

The Washington Post reporting that counterfeit parts have been found in weapons used by the U.S. military.

A Senate Armed Services Committee investigation found 1,800 cases of more than one million fake parts in U.S. weapon systems!

70% of the parts have been traced to Chinese factories.  20% came from Canada and United Kingdom.  Most of the parts are electronic: “We can’t tolerate the risk of a ballistic missile interceptor failing to hit its target, a helicopter pilot unable to fire his missiles or any other mission failure because of a counterfeit part.”-John McCain, U.S. Senator from Arizona

Here’s a solution: The U.S. military industrial complex should stop using supplies from outside the United States!!!

What Economic Recovery? Honda to slash North American production, Toyota cutting work hours

Honda wants to cut north American production by 50%, and they’re blaming the latest flooding in Thailand.

Output at all six of its factories in the United States and Canada will be cut in half from November 2 through 10.  Also, they will stop all production in North America for one day on November 11.

Toyota announced they will cut overtime hours at all 13 north American factories, again because of a lack of parts caused by flooding in Thailand.

World War 3: Canada being urged to arrest George Bush Jr

“Canada is required by its international obligations to arrest and prosecute former president Bush given his responsibility for crimes under international law including torture.  As the U.S. authorities have, so far, failed to bring former president Bush to justice, the international community must step in.  A failure by Canada to take action during his visit would violate the UN Convention against Torture and demonstrate contempt for fundamental human rights.”-Amnesty International

Bush Jr is expected to attend an economic summit in Surrey, Canada, on October 20.

Corporate Incompetence: Netflix says internet speeds in the United States sucks!

Earlier this year Netflix tested internet connection speeds in several countries, the United States sucked!

Apparently Netflix ranked the U.S. at 32.  Countries like Canada did much better.

The thing is that much faster connection speeds are available in the United States, it’s just that most people can’t pay the outrageous fees.  Also, most internet service providers don’t guarantee a faster connection rate, their fine print misleadingly says “speeds up to”.  This means they aren’t able to consistently provide faster connection speeds.
