Barack Obama is threateneing to block any lawsuits against Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over the 11 September 2001 attacks on the United States (15 of the 19 attackers came from Saudi Arabia, none from Afghanistan or Iraq or Iran or Syria or Libya or ….)!  The U.S. Congress passed a bill allowing lawsuits against Saudi Arabia, but the Obama regime has threatened to veto the bill on the grounds that the terrorist nation is “a key U.S. ally”.

After a supposed end to combat missions years ago, the Obama regime has been quietly increasing combat troop deployments to both Afghanistan and Iraq (06 September 2016: 1400 U.S. troops deploying despite the fact that homicides in Obama’s homie town of Chicago exceed the number of U.S. personnel killed in Iraq and Afghanistan), even though those countries had nothing to due with 9/11.  Fact: The alleged 9/11 attackers came from Saudi Arabia (15), United Arab Emirates (2), Egypt (1) and Lebanon (1).

Today the Illinois National Guard sent 19 personnel to Texas for deployment training for Afghanistan.  The ignorant governor blamed it on 9/11.

NEC (formerly known as Nippon Electric Company) created artificial intelligence software used to sort resumes, job applications and employment test results. Now the company wants to create a robot interviewer!

NEC claims their employee screening AI tech will reduce the chances of a person being hired simply because they know the employer/recruiter.

Their new robot interviewer will not only consider your answers to its questions, but your body movements as well, utilizing technology similar to NEC’s new NeoFace facial recognition program now being used for electronic payments in Tokyo, Japan.

It’s all part of the Japanese government’s FinTech (financial technologies) plan.  NEC conducted a large scale Walkthrough Facial Recognition System test on its own employees back in April.

NEC won the 2015 Gold Award, for using facial recognition AI to create a concert ticket ID system, from the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence.   Such facial recognition systems require that your image data is already stored in a corporate or government computer system.

In Australia, NEC recently won a contract to develop CrimTrac’s new biometric identification system: “The Biometric Identification System will not only integrate with existing law enforcement systems, but advance as our nation’s biometric capability advances. This is vital in the current national security landscape, because it is essential to have robust and efficient cross-border information sharing to support the law enforcement agencies that protect our communities.”-Michael Keenan, Minister for Justice-Minister Assisting the Prime Minister on Counter Terrorism

Hitachi calls it Human Big Data

Soon your nagging first line supervisor could be replaced with a nagging AI boss, in the form of a name tag-dog tag worn around your neck.

Japan based Hitachi is testing a new artificial intelligence ‘boss’ under the guise of “tracking employee happiness”.  Hitachi is not the first company to do so, many companies are testing such big brotherisms all under the guise of making sure their employees are happy.  But news reports out of Japan reveal the truth behind these AI bosses; the tiny computers will be able to boss you around through your smartphone or tablet (apparently employees working for companies employing the big brother-sister technology will get “advice” on how to better do their jobs, sent to them in their off-time)!

Right now 6-hundred Hitachi employees are using the AI name tag ‘dog tags’ and are being commanded to do things like “you should talk to your colleagues more often.”  Here in the United States that command will most likely be changed to ‘you talk too much, get back to work!’  The Hitachi prototype works by tracking every little thing that you do while on the job, not one microsecond of privacy!

In 2015, WARABLE published an article questioning how Hitachi’s AI program would determine ‘happiness’ by tracking “…how much you sit, stand, nod, type and walk around at work. ….and collects data on your movements an incredible 50 times a second throughout the day.”  Back then Hitachi justified its efforts by claiming that sales at a test call center went up an incredible 34% on days that employees were “happy”.

U.S. farm equipment maker Deere is also testing similar devices, but they’ve been more accurately described as Motivation Metrics, in other words it’s not really about the happiness of the employee, but about how to get the employee to do more work.  It also means the end of first line supervisor positions for humans.

According to Springbuk Health Analytics, a promoter of electronic ‘wearables’ in the workplace, 54% of employers would love to track every little thing that you do on their time!

Software company Salesforce claims that 86% of U.S. employers will ‘invest’ more into AI wearables this year!  40% of employers admitted it was not about employee happines, but about managing employee time and communications!

And now for something as old as ‘civilization’: Lawsuits.  Already tracking device maker Fitbit has faced several lawsuits. In 2014 a lawsuit against Fitbit claimed that the wearable caused allergic skin reactions (many people have allergic reactions when certain metals are worn).  Two lawsuits filed this year claim the heart rate data collected by Fitbit trackers (the second lawsuit also targets Apple) is not accurate, about 20 beats per minute off.   Research by California State Polytechnic University-Pomona showed the fitness trackers actually became inaccurate once you started exercising (they were accurate when the person was at rest).  Gee, whatever happened to checking your pulse the old fashioned way, with your finger?

Another lawsuit (filed in 2015) claims Fitbit’s sleep tracker is wrong as well.  Gee, are people so disconected and/or whacked on prescription drugs they can’t tell when they’re asleep and when they’re awake?

The defense ministers of U.S. led NATO members Bundesrepublik Deutschland and République Française wrote a six page document outlining the creation of a permanent European Union military headquarters for future deployment of European NATO troops outside of Europe!

The plan (supposedly written in August) calls for synchronizing taxpayer funding to create joint recon, medical and logistical support units in preperations for a new War on Terror.  European military academies, and state run schools, will promote the idea of a unified EU military.  Article 44 of the EU Lisbon Treaty will be implemented.  New weapon systems will be jointly developed. It’s expected to be adopted at the upcoming EU summit in Slovenská Republika.

News media in Deutschland blame this latest martial development on the United Kingdom’s Brexit (Britain exits the European Union) plans.  Apparently past proposals for a unified EU military had been vetoed by the United Kingdom (which is also a member of NATO).

MAFFS: Wildfire season 2018 going to be a hot one?

Apparently the U.S. Forest Service and the Department of Defense (DoD) think the 2018 fire season is gonna’ be big because they’ve just added another MAFFS C-130 firefighting unit to their western states inventory.

MAFFS stands for Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System.  The Forest Service owns the MAFFS, the DoD (through USAF Reserve and state militias) provides the C-130s and personnel to operate it.

Currently there are three MAFFS units operated by the state militias of California, North Carolina and Wyoming, and one MAFFS Air Force Reserve unit out of Colorado.  Since early August MAFFS have already flown 142 firefighting missions, dropping more than 3.5-million pounds (1.6-million kilos) of fire-retardant in Idaho, Nevada and Oregon.

Nevada’s 152 AW High Rollers will be used to augment the units from Colorado and Wyoming, and will be based in Reno.  While MAFFS fly missions across the country, the U.S. Forest Service wanted a new MAFFS unit whose home base is in the fire prone Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.  The MAFFS equipment is being transferred from North Carolina Air National Guard’s 145th Airlift Wing to Nevada’s 152nd Airlift Wing.

This year’s official fire season began MAFFS on-job-training for crews of the High Rollers: “The actual drops have been challenging and exhilarating. It’s a great feeling to see your immediate results whether we are dropping a protective line of retardant between the fire and someone’s property or dropping ‘mud’ directly on flames leaping from the tops of trees in an effort to slow the fire’s progress.”-Lietenant Colonel Tony Machabee, first member of the High Rollers to co-pilot a MAFFS mission

The U.S. Forest Service wants the new 152 AW MAFFS unit ready to launch for the 2018 wildfire season.  The Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences predicts that by 2050 the official U.S. wildfire season will be three weeks longer, and for several years now the Pacific Northwest has been dealing with major fires in the official off-season.

Bill & Hillary Clinton claim they paid 34.2% of their income to federal income taxes.  They also claim they paid 9.8% of their ‘adjusted’ income to charity, mostly to their own charity informally called Clinton Family Foundation (which, by the way, is how they keep their daughter Chelsea employed, it’s officially called the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation).

Flip-Flopper Hillary: According to The Washington Times, Hillary Clinton helped create the not-so-free Obama regime’s free trade deal known as Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), but now as a presidential candidate Hillary Clinton claims she will cancel TPP becasue it’s not free or fair to the working class!

The Washington Post revealed that despite Donald Trump claiming his golf courses are worth tens of millions of U.S. dollars his state tax filings are claiming otherwise, but only because Trump is trying to reduce paying his fair share of taxes.  

California: Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority laid off 13 people.  VVWRA is paid by how much sewage water flows into their privately run treatment plant, and sewage flows crashed by 22% (since 2010), forcing VVWRA to conduct across the board layoffs.  VVWRA blames the city of Victorville for diverting one-millions gallons of sewage into the city run treatment plant.  The city of Victorville counters by blaming delayed construction of a new pipeline on VVWRA.  That pipeline is supposedly functional now, and was 94% funded by taxes from the federal government (through FEMA).  Not only has Cupertino based Apple avoided paying its fair share of taxes to the not-so Golden State, as well as the United States, but apparently failed to pay the equivilant of $14-million USD in taxes to the European Union!  The Guardian reports that the Obama regime is threatening the European Union (an ally of the U.S.) for demanding U.S. companies like Apple pay their fair share in taxes!  And San Francisco based Uber failed to pay Taiwan the equivilant of $6.3-million in taxes!  The government of Taiwan (an ally of the U.S.) says Uber hasn’t paid taxes since 2013!

Colorado: The Colorado Weekly Homebuyers List reports at least six property owners/businesses facing federal and state tax liens, just in Boulder County.

Delaware: Illinois based HVS Convention, Sports, and Entertainment Consulting ties Delaware with Idaho for the 8th highest hotel tax rate in the U.S.

Florida: Brevard County Court warning of layoffs due to state taxpayer funding cuts.  The county Clerk of Courts told local news that 28 jobs could be eliminated between now and January 2017.  Local news reports say Brevard County Court has been eliminating jobs since 2008; from 480 to now less than 3-hundred.

Idaho: A Fourth District Judge has thrown out a lawsuit challenging the 2014 law that heaps huge taxpayer funded incentives on companies moving to The Gem State.  Tens of millions in tax breaks (supposedly in the form of “reimbursements”) have already gone to companies like California based Amy’s Kitchen and Ireland’s Glanbia Foods. Agricultural news source Capital Press also revealed that an undisclosed food producer was recently given a $15-million tax credit for creating a piddly 80 jobs in Boise.  The state Depatment of Commerce claims that tax ‘reimbursments’ helped create 4,737 new jobs. But if companies aren’t paying their fair share of taxes how are the state and local governments going to make up for it?  By hitting Idaho residents with jacked up taxes and fees, of course.

If you’ve got a family and you’re thinking about moving to Idaho to get a job with one of those taxpayer subsidized companies, think again.  The Gem State is one of the worst when it comes to affordable child daycare, and the state government does nothing about it.  Economic Policy Institute says the average Idaho family spends $6-hundred per month per child on daycare.  Child Care Aware says from 2013 to 2014 childcare costs in Idaho skyrocketed by 19.9%!  Even a daycare operator says it’s not worth it to raise a family in Idaho: “Ultimately, when you do the math, and mom is only making X amount, how much of that money is going toward lunches out, and extra clothing, and taxes, and gas to get to and from? You have to look at all of that and see if it’s cost-effective.”-Megan MacCleary, Megan’s Munchkins Preschool, whose income from her daycare operation is so low she qualies for Medicaid (even though daycare rates have gone up Idaho still ranks third lowest for daycare operator/worker pay)

Indiana: Ball State University economist Michael Hicks warned that taxpayers are being raped in the name of saving the corporate retail industry: “We are in the fourth or fifth iteration of government subsidizing new development at the urging of property developers, consultant firms and bond attorneys. Each time a shiny new strip mall is opened, a small-business owner somewhere else is eventually put out of business. The cycle continues. Consultants get rich, local economic developers claim jobs and local taxpayers get struck with empty retail infrastructure they didn’t need, and not enough money to fix the schools…”

Kansas: More proof of Failed State-ism; yet again monthly state tax collections failed to cover state government expenses.  August tax collections were $10-million USD short of what was needed!  Blame unAmerican corporate America: “Individual income taxes beat estimates for the second month of the fiscal year, which is encouraging, but corporate, sale and use tax receipts continue to lag pulling down the overall totals.”-Nick Jordan,  Secretary of Revenue

Kentucky: Illinois based HVS Convention, Sports, and Entertainment Consulting says Kentucky experienced a 19.32% hotel tax revenue growth, the biggest growth in the U.S.

Massachusetts: The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority warning of mass layoffs due to being ‘in the hole’ by $100-million USD!  At least 60 MBTA janitors are being laid off, for a start.

Michigan:  Proof of Failed State-ism; Montcalm County Sheriff Department warning deputies of possibly layoffs due to the county being in the financial hole by $1.5-million USD.  County administrators revealed that since 2012 tax collections have fallen behind expenses by an average of $2-million per year!  (if the private sector can’t pay people enough, then people can’t pay taxes)

New Jersey: More proof of Failed State-ism; The city of Paterson shutdown 36 taxpayer funded summer camps, warned of 250 layoffs, forced furlough days for remaining employees, and  intentionally increase police issued traffic tickets to generate cash!  Even with the layoffs, and forcing police to arbitrarily issue 30-thousand (80 per day) additional money generating traffic tickets, city administrators whine that they will still be short $2.1-million USD!  The New York Times revelaed that when Chris Christie became governor he reduced the $30-million in taxes owed by the now dead Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort to just $5-million!  Now we know the reason why Trump went from being a Democrat to being a Republican; bribery!

New Mexico: Cibola County prison shutting down by October, 3-hundred jobs affected!  The prison has been operated by the evil for profit Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) since 1998, CCA refused to say why they’re shutting the prison down.  It might be connected to the fact the federal government’s own study shows “They do not save substantially on costs and … they do not maintain the same level of safety and security.”

New York: The town of Oyster Bay is $700-million USD in debt, 103 employees have been retired early and another 150 will be laid off!    John Venditto, town supervisor for 18 years, warned “Everything is on the table. There will be a proportion between non-exempt employees and exempt employees. No one is safe.”

By the way, former Oyster Bay commissioner Frederick Ippolito had his federal court sentencing delayed. He pled guilty to failing to pay taxes on a $2-million consulting fee he was paid while serving as the town’s planning and development commissioner.

Ohio: According to Crain’s Cleveland Business the Internal Revenue Service has filed federal tax liens against 21 businesses.

South Carolina: Illinois based HVS Convention, Sports, and Entertainment Consulting says South Carolina experienced a negative 3.22% hotel tax revenue ‘growth’, the biggest decline in the U.S.

Washington DC: The Congressional Budget Office says within ten years taxpayer spending on military and civilian government jobs will hit a 53 years low, due to crashing tax revenues and skyrocketing costs of operations (especially due to ObamaCare).  Already the Internal Revenue Service has eliminated 17-thousand tax collecting jobs in the past six years!

Up until the end of the 2nd World War the United States was officially anti-imperialist, but that all changed no-thanks to Winston Churchill and the Anglophiles that have dominated the U.S. government/corporations since then (British empire-Commonwealth nations are the biggest foreign ‘investors’ in U.S. corporations, Stop Blaming China!). California: San Francisco based internet ‘ride sharing service’ Uber lost $1.3-billion USD in the first half of 2016!  Uber pays its ‘contracted’ drivers a subsidy in order to keep ride fares low, and that’s supposedly what caused Uber’s massive loss. Uber now wants to shift to more dangerous driverless cars.  Digital comedy portal Funny or Die shutting down their San Mateo office and eliminating 37 tech jobs.    San Jose hit hard, starting with Cisco Systems which suddenly laid off 899 employees, as part of their new plan to eliminate 14-thousand jobs worldwide! Cisco administrators blame crashing sales of computer hardware.  Despite signing a contract to update San Jose city lights to L-E-D, Sweden based Ericsson issued a shutdown WARN for their San Jose operations, 435 jobs gone by Halloween!   Also in San Jose, computer chip maker Micrel issued a layoff WARN, 195 jobs gone by the end of September! San Jose based solar panel maker SunPower eliminated 1-thousand 2-hundred jobs due to crashing demand for solar power products!  SunEdison suddenly laid off 16 people.  Possibly due to Tesla’s take-over bid SolarCity eliminating 108 jobs in San Francisco and San Mateo!   For some unknown reason state employment administrators finally published the fact that Broadcom and Avago eliminated more than 1-thousand jobs back in March!  State employment admin records show Broadcom and Avago gave the state the mass layoff notices back in January!  Speaking of Broadcom, they just issued another WARN, this time 50 jobs in San Diego gone by mid-September.  It’s been revealed that maker of the new Ghostbusters video game, FireForge (not connected to FireForge Games), went chapter 7 bankrupt busted back in July!   Chapter 7 usually means they’re dead. In Milpitas, cyber security company FireEye laying off 80 employees in October, and the new CEO warned of another 4-hundred layoffs at a yet to be determined later date!  QLogic laying off 69 employees in Aliso Viejo, by mid-October.  In Los Angeles, Xerox laying off 11 people by mid-October.  Glendale based Disney Imagineering laid off an undisclosed number of employees: “Walt Disney Imagineering is a project-based organization, and we continually evaluate and adjust our resources to support the design and development of Disney theme parks, resorts and experiences around the globe.”-official vague explanation

Connecticut: France owned Altice USA-Cablevision Systems Corporation/Optimum shutting down a call center and a customer support center, eliminating more than 5-hundred jobs (some reports say 6-hundred) between October and December!

Georgia: Colorado based EchoStar Technologies shutting down their Atlanta metro area operations, 137 jobs lost by October due to “many factors”!  Internet based Ditech Financial laid off 80 people in the Atlanta area, and another 1-hundred people will lose their jobs in North Carolina and Texas!  Ditech’s parent company, Walter Investments, lost $232-million USD in its 2nd quarter.

Hawaii: Oahu Publications revealed it laid off eight people, there was also news that the owner of the building where Oahu Pubs is HQed has put the building up-for-sale.

Idaho: Idaho National Laboratory (INL) lost its attempt to become the site for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Frontier Observatory for Research in Geothermal Energy, or FORGE: “Although our Idaho site was not selected, INL still has the opportunity to participate in the FORGE effort through our role as a member of the University of Utah-led team and in other funded proposals.”-Rob Podgorney, INL geothermal

Iowa: Iowa State University eliminated 30 InfoTech jobs. At the same time, university administrators claim their reorganization of their IT department actually created eight jobs.

Michigan: Dialog Direct (Novo1) shutting down their Grand Rapids call center, 106 jobs gone by mid-October!  According to local news reports, in 2014 Dialog Direct was promised $1.5-million USD in taxpayer funded “investments” to establish a call center in Grand Rapids and hire 287 people.  There was no explanation in the official WARN as to why they’re shutting it down, or why they hired only 106 people.

Missouri: The Kansas City Star laid off 12 people, local news reports say for the past few months there’s been non-stop layoffs at the struggling newspaper.

Mississippi: Another example of what I call Ripple Effect Layoffs; bankrupt e-Fitness & Wellness shutdown their Biloxi location.  The operators blame a payments collection company in Utah for going bust and as a result cutoff funding for e-Fitness.

New Jersey: Japan owned OKI Data Americas eliminating 38 jobs in Mount Laurel by the end of September.  In Red Bank, California based Qualcomm Atheros eliminating 76 jobs by the end of September.

New York: New York Life eliminating numerous in-house InfoTech jobs across The Empire State, between November 2016 and April 2017.  France based Altice USA laid off 1-hundred people in Bethpage, that’s where Altice took over Cablevision Systems!  News reports say news magazine Time Incorporated will eliminate 110 jobs in an attempt to “optimize” growth!  Advertiser MDC-KBS eliminated an undisclosed number of jobs while at the same time claimed “we’re growing and hiring too”.

Oregon: Software “localizer” Sykes issued a shutdown WARN for their Eugene ops, 418 jobs lost by the end of October!

Pennsylvania:  Thorley Industries-4moms, a company that prides itself on using computers and robots to design and build products for babies, revealed it laid off 53 people back in June. 

Texas: Austin based Revolve Solar now chapter 11 bankrupt busted. Interestingly company administrators stated that their financial numbers filed for the bankruptcy were wrong, and that the company was “fine”.

Washington: In Seattle, advertising-analytics company Marchex laid off about 40 employees after a $68-million USD loss in its 2nd quarter.  And video game maker Z2 laid off an undisclosed number of marketing and administrative employees, probably in connection with being taken over by two differnet companies last year.  Still in Seattle, tech company QuoteWizard suddenly laid off 20 people after spending money on a new office in Colorado, administrators admitted “With such fast growth, we lost some focus…”.   Also in Seattle, software company Moz laid off 60 people after a failed attempt to increase its market diversity: “Increasing the breadth of the product suite added a lot of complexity to the business, but didn’t result in the growth we expected.”-Sara Bird, ceo

‘Minority Report’ programing for Insurance Policies, after Japan takes over U.S. companies!

Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company announced plans to create an artificial inteligence (AI) program to predict a person’s likeliness to get sick and die.   Electronics company Hitachi is working on the ‘minority report’ program for the insurance company.

Japan’s Dai-ichi Life will use the AI program to analize the medical records of 10-million clients, and then adjust their policies!   Company administrators are promoting the new AI ‘minority report’ style program as a way to provide insurance coverage to people who currently don’t have insurance!

This news comes a couple of weeks after Dai-ichi Life (through its U.S. subsidary Protective Life, which Dai-ichi Life took over in 2015) took over Florida based United States Warranty Corporation.  USWC’s primary service is asset protection, specifically selling you insurance for unexpected car repairs:  “….our Asset Protection line of business has been performing well and this transaction is a great way to grow the line of business. Japan & U.S. prep to evacuate Africa!

You might know that the United States has an Africa Command and you might know that U.S. puppet Japan has troops deployed in South Sudan, but did you know that neo-imperialist Japan has a base in the Republic of Djibouti?

It’s called Camp Lemonnier and is shared in conjunction with U.S. AFRICOM’s Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.  During the last weekend of August, Japanese and U.S. military leaders planned for mass evacuations of their personnel, and citizens, from the Horn of Africa.

This comes more than a month after civil war in the newly created oil rich country of South Sudan escalated.   

The Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa evacuation planning focused on route planning, logistics, medical support and use of air and ground transportation.
