Incomplete list of healthcare related layoffs and shutdowns, announced in March 2017:

Israeli based drugs pusher Teva announced it will eliminate 6-thousand jobs globally, including within the United States (that’s on top of the hundreds of U.S. jobs they’ve already killed)!

Alabama: Highlands Medical Center suddenly laid off 26 people directly blaming “… the Budget Control Act of 2011 and Affordable Care Act. The cost of providing healthcare has risen drastically in recent years. We are receiving reduced payments from Medicare for the care we provide, while at the same time we are treating an increasing number of uninsured and underinsured patients.”  (note that even with ObamaCare hospitals are seeing even more people who don’t have insurance!)

Arizona: Banner Health laid off “a small number” of doctors as part of ongoing layoffs in connection with the shutdown of its cardiology clinics.

California:  Stanford Health Care eliminating 123 jobs due to the ‘everchanging healthcare climate’! Non-profit Rideout Health laying off 106 people and discontinuing home-health and hospice services by the end of June due to ObamaCare payment reductions!  Pfizer issued a shutdown WARN for its Palo Alto operations, at least 38 jobs lost by the end of April.  Ambulance service Paramedics issued a shutdown WARN for its San Leandro ops, 465 jobs lost by the end of April!  Drugs maker PL Developments issued a shutdown WARN for its Lynwood ops, 53 jobs gone by May.  Ireland based medical device maker Medtronic issued a shutdown WARN for its Sunnyvale ops.  In Thousand Oaks, drugs maker Amgen killing about 450 jobs as it moves operations to Florida later in the year!

Connecticut:  Drugs maker Alexion Pharmaceuticals laying off 210 people in an effort to prepare for the long term!

Florida: Clinical Pathology Labs eliminating 73 jobs in Orlando, between May and September.  EmblemHealth Services issued a WARN, 221 jobs in Hollywood gone by the end of April!

Idaho: After 17 years Affinity, one of the largest mental health services provider in the Boise area, was shutdown following a raid by the IRS. Hundreds of employees now unemployed and at least 8-hundred patients with nowhere to go.  Local news media reported that the federal Internal Revenue Service has yet to explain the raid.

Illinois: The state prison system notified 124 nurses that their jobs were ending in June!  It’s probably in retaliation for the unionized nurses filing an unfair labor practice lawsuit against the state.

Indiana: Insurance company MDwise no longer paying for state Medicaid related healthcare!  MDwise also laid off 79 people.  Roche Diabetes Care eliminating 157 jobs due to increasing competition!

Iowa:  Shenandoah Medical Center suddenly laid off 14 people, blaming Medicaid reimbursement changes.  13 employees had their work hours reduced.  Tax sucking federal contractor General Dynamics eliminating 220 jobs at its Medicaid call center ops in Coralville, in May!   Administrators directly blamed ObamaCare open enrollment demand saying “The call centers are staffed to handle the demands of open enrollment periods. As has been done in previous years, we will continue to manage staffing levels throughout the year to meet consumer demand.”

Kentucky:  ‘Cloud’ based ZirMed suddenly laid off 60 people, blaming healthcare market trends.  Louisville based insurance company Humana warning of mass layoffs in Kentucky and Wisconsin after failing to take over competitor Aetna.   God powerless to stop ‘his’ Baptist Health Kentucky from eliminating 288 jobs!

Maryland: HealthStream shutting down its internet based patient interview operations in Laurel, 134 jobs gone by the end of June!

Massachusetts: North Shore Medical Center warning of mass layoffs due to being $48-million USD in the hole, no thanks to ObamaCare.

Mississippi:  University of Mississippi Medical Center eliminating 195 jobs and will not fill 85 vacant positions due to ObamaCare reductions to patient care reimbursement!

Missouri: Healthcare software company Lumeris warned of more layoffs as it spends more money taking over competitors.

New Jersey:  In Logan-Swedesboro, drugs pusher Walgreens shutting down its 18 years old e-commerce distribution center, 133 jobs lost in June!  Walgreens is consolidating its internet operations.  Express Scripts issued a WARN, 66 jobs in Franklin Lakes gone by mid-April.

New Mexico: Gila Regional Medical Center suddenly laid off 12 people, and will not fill seven vacant positions due to ObamaCare causing lower patient volumes and dwindling reimbursement.

New York: Drugs pusher CVS eliminating 99 jobs in Chestnut Ridge.  Beth Abrams Nursing Home suddenly shutdown, 580 jobs gone due to being taken over by a competitor! Drugs pusher Linden Care eliminating 28 jobs in Woodbury by mid-June.  Bankrupt Virginia based specialty anatomic pathology laboratory Bostwick Laboratories issued a shutdown WARN for its Uniondale ops, 128 jobs gone by May!  Public Health Solutions issued a shutdown WARN for its Early Intervention Service Coordination Program, at least 80 jobs gone by June.  In NYC, ComplexCare Solutions Medical Practice eliminating at least 113 jobs by the end of May, due to loss of contract!  California based Pfizer issued a shutdown WARN for its Rouses Point ops.

North Carolina: Arrow, a subsidiary of medical device maker Teleflex, eliminating 17 jobs in June, as part of a plan to move jobs to Mexico and Czech Republic.

Ohio:  Cleveland Clinic shutting down maternity unit in Medina Hospital in June. Local news media reported that it is the last maternity unit in Medina County!   Local news media reported that unnamed employees revealed that as many as 50 Affinity Medical Center workers were laid off without warning.  Affinity administrators confirmed they eliminated jobs due to ObamaCare reducing patient volume.  Nurses also warned that Affinity was reducing the amount of food provided to patients! 

Oklahoma: God powerless to stop ‘his’ Missouri based Ascension Health from eliminating an undisclosed number of jobs with Saint John Health System.

Oregon: PeaceHealth eliminating an additional 85 jobs.

Pennsylvania:  Highmark Health Solutions suddenly laid off 52 people in an effort to ‘find efficiencies’.  Express Scripts issued a WARN, 210 jobs in Trevos gone by the end of May!

Rhode Island: Care New England announced an undisclosed number of employees will soon become unemployed.

Texas: God powerless to stop ‘his’ Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) from laying off 459 people in The Lone Star State!  Another 161 vacant positions will not be filled.  BCFS Health and Human Services warned it could lay off  95 call center employees due to lack of funding.

Virginia: Specialty anatomic pathology laboratory Bostwick Laboratories bankrupt busted.

Wyoming: In Cheyenne, decades old Hoy’s Drugs shutdown by legal battles.

But wait, there’s more!  KSA’s Aramco gets full ownership of 24 distribution terminals and has the exclusive right to sell Shell brand fuel in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and in most of Florida and the eastern half of Texas!

On the morning of 25 APR 2017 what’s being called an improvised nuclear bomb exploded near Butlerville, Indiana.

Nearly 6-thousand active duty, reserve and militia personnel from all branches of the service were called in to conduct massive search and rescue ops.

 Wounded silly-vilians also had to undergo CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) decontamination procedures, before they could be treated for their more obvious injuries.

Fake!  It was part of the massive Guardian Response 17 war-game at  Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Indiana.  However, this was just one of dozens of CBRN (back in the Cold War we called it NBC, nuclear biological chemical) training events held across the U.S., and with other NATO ‘partners’, so far this year!

Incomplete list of U.S. Federal/State/Local Government self-destruct announcements for February 2017:

Alaska: Taxpayer owned Alaska Railroad Corporation laid off 31 people and eliminated 29 positions, blaming an un-recovered economy for creating a forecasted loss of $4.9-million USD for 2017.

Arizona: Marana Hooters restaurant shutdown not by protesters, but by a $148-million USD state taxpayer funded road project.  Local news reports say the road project will block both access points to the restaurant.

California: Taxpayers in the city of Covina forced to pay to re-develop a former Kmart property into a housing project and bus terminal! Tax sucking maker of parts for inflatable boats, Wing Inflatables, warning that 1-hundred jobs in Arcata could be lost, if they don’t win a multi-million USD tax-sucking contract from the U.S. Navy for Special Warfare Boats!   Washington based port operator Puglia Engineering suddenly backed out of its deal to take over a former British empire BAE pier in San Francisco, 184 jobs suddenly gone!  Administrators blame the U.S. tax-sucking British empire’s BAE for selling them a pig-in-a-poke as they discovered $9-million USD in damages to the pier caused by BAE!  Local news media reported that under BAE the pier employed more than 2-hundred people.   Tax-sucking Rockwell Collins issued a WARN, 44 jobs in Irvine lost by the end of April.

Colorado:  Missouri based prescription ‘benefits’ company Express Scripts shutting down its call center in Pueblo, 320 jobs lost by the end of April!  City leaders say Express Scripts still owes local taxpayers $2.8-million USD that was loaned to the prescription company, and never mind that Express Scripts also got about $3-million in tax incentives to build a call center in Pueblo!

Idaho: In the overwhelmingly christian (Mormon) dominated south eastern part of The Gem State, some christians actually campaigned against Pastor Jacqualine ‘Big Momma’ Thomas’ planned homeless shelter in Pocatallo! After a local Muslim doctor started the financial ball rolling in favor of the homeless shelter (waking up true local Christians who had money to donate), a group of christians went to the city council to point out that the Sublette Street property was not zoned for “transitional housing”.  The Mormon dominated city promptly revoked the temporary operating permit.  Pastor Big Momma commented to local news media that she’s taking this as a sign that god has a better location in mind.

Iowa: The state Department for the Blind eliminating ten jobs in March due to massive taxpayer funding cuts over the next two years.

Kentucky: Privately run but taxpayer funded probation and parole company Kentucky Alternative Programs lost its contract with Boyle and Mercer district courts due to failing to meet new rules established by the state supreme court.

Maryland: Baltimore based, evangelical founded, World Relief warning of layoffs across the U.S. due to the new President of the United States of America Donald Trump.  You see, christian founded World Relief gets paid by federal taxpayers according to how many refugees they take in.

 New York:  U.S. Army contractor L3 Technologies laid off 44 people, other employees are being transferred to Mississippi, due to cuts in taxpayer funding.

Ohio: Enginetics issued a shutdown WARN for its factory in Eastlake, at least 28 jobs lost by July. Enginetics’ main customer is the tax-sucking U.S. military.

Nebraska: In Omaha, after only two years Grane Whiskey Dispensary shutdown. Local news reports say the owner is fighting legal claims over alleged unpaid taxes concerning a different booze business.

Pennsylvania:   CNX Coal Resources-Consol Energy laid off 2-hundred people due to a state Environmental Hearings Board restriction!    Soda pop seller ShopRite laying off 3-hundred people because sales crashed by 50% due to the city of Philadelphia’s 1.5 cents per ounce tax (on top of existing food taxes)! New Jersey based Canada Dry Delaware Valley eliminating 20% of its jobs in Philadelphia, because their soda sales crashed by 45%, again, due the city of Philadelphia’s 1.5 cents per ounce tax (on top of existing food taxes)!

South Carolina:  Tax-sucking maker of fabric armor, DuPont-Kevlar, shutting down its six years old factory in Berkeley due to lack of sales.  Local news reports say DuPont claimed to have invested $500-million USD in the factory, but is now consolidating the work to other factories, resulting in 113 jobs lost in Berkeley County!

Tennessee: After only one year and U.S. taxpayer funded incentives to build a $22-million USD factory in Kingsport, British empire Canada owned Pure Foods now chapter 11 bankrupt busted!  The company also promised to hire 275 Tennesseans, but local news media reported that food production at Kingsport was suddenly halted in October 2016 after the Canadian owners suddenly decided to consolidate operations.

Texas: In Plano, Forex Capital Markets eliminating 56 jobs in April, blaming federal regulators.

Vermont:  It was revealed that state tax collectors forced Flanders Market/North Tunbridge General Store/Chelsea’s Pizza House to shutdown in November! The owner of the stores re-opened them in December after settling the taxes, but then suddenly shutdown them all down in January/February, saying “Everything is financial”.
