Vehicle I-D: What happens when both sides use the same weapons?

Ukraine is the birthplace of Russia.  Today’s larger Russia expanded out of Ukraine.  In the 20th Century the new Union of Soviet Socialist Republics allowed the creation of a separate Soviet Republic of Ukraine. It was during the time of the Soviet Union that Ukraine became a major manufacturer of weapon systems for the U.S.S.R.  In 1991, Ukraine lead the collapse of the Soviet Union by declaring independence.  Then there was the creation of the European Union (EU).  Both the EU and NATO have been actively involved in ‘behind-the-scenes’ influence of the Ukrainian government, for decades now.  Despite that, even today Russia and Ukraine use the same type of major weapon systems.  How do you tell them apart during combat?

This T-64BV is not marked, but carries large Russian and Donbas militia flags.

Russia has obviously thought about that because their ground vehicles, along with the military ground vehicles of Donetsk Republic and Lugansk (Luhansk) Republic have been given unique operational markings.  They look like Latin alphabet letters but are not.  They also indicate the Area of Operation (AO); North in Kiev Oblast, or South in Donbas.

Video from the end of February 2022, Donbas-Lugansk Republic militia and their trucks, BMP-1s and 2S1 SP Guns, all marked with ‘Z’, waiting for orders to move-out:

Somewhere in Donbas.

In the Southern, Donbas area of operation (AO), Russian, Lugansk and Donetsk tracked and wheeled vehicles are marked with a ‘Z’.

Ukrainian made KrAZ armored car, in use by local Donbas forces.

Video of Russians meeting with Lugansk Republic troops, 03MAR2022:

T-64BV somewhere in Donbas.

Video report, posted on 03MAR2022, Ukrainian Ground Forces abandoned a T-64BV, Lugansk Republic forces quickly claimed it by spraying ‘Z‘ symbols on it, and working to repair it for their own use (it was one of two abandoned T-64BVs, the video also shows an abandoned BRDM-2):

Abandoned Ukrainian T-64BV, now in the hands of the Donbas militias as indicated by the ‘Z’ painted on the skirts.

In the Northern Kiev Oblast AO the vehicles are marked with a ‘V’. Video of ‘V‘ marked Russian BMPs, BRTs and T-72B3s entering the Kiev Oblast of Ukraine from Belarus, the road sign gives the location away as the Gomel (Homiel) Oblast, Belarus-Kiev Oblast, Ukraine border crossing (heading towards Chernobyl Exclusion Zone?), 03MAR2022:

When you see a Western news report about Russian activities, if they are talking about Kiev AO (Area of Operation), but the images show vehicles with ‘Z‘ on them then the images are actually from the Donbas AO.

What many people in the United States don’t know is that under President Barack Obama, Iraq was allowed to get weapons from countries considered ‘not friendly’ to the United States, like Iran and Russia.  In fact, Iranian Sukhoi 25 aircraft operated inside Iraq, from Iraqi air bases, to help Iraq fight the so-called Islamic State.  When Iran left they ‘gifted'(?) the Su-25s to Iraq.  These were in addition to the Russian Su-25s acquired by Iraq.  They are Su-25KM single seaters and Su-25UBKM two seaters.

World War 3, False Flag: China warns Ukraine Crisis is a diversion, true goal of AUKUS is war with China!

“What the U.S. report says about China’s Taiwan region is a gross interference in China’s internal affairs and violation of the one-China principle and the basic norms governing international relations. We are firmly opposed to that.”-Senior Colonel Tan Kefei, China’s Ministry of National Defense, 24FEB2022

“If a nation’s defense authorities are obsessed with confrontation and deliberately make waves in the South China Sea, what it will lose is not just the next decade, but also its international credibility and the opportunities to cooperate with regional countries.”-Senior Colonel Tan Kefei, China’s Ministry of National Defense, 24FEB2022, referring to the recently created U.S., U.K. and Australia military pact called AUKUS (Australia United Kingdom United States)

On 18FEB2022, communist China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) published an article essentially calling Joe Biden a war monger, because ever since he took-over from Donald Trump the number of U.S. military deployments overseas has increased (despite the sudden withdrawal from Afghanistan) especially in the Indo-Pacific, and for ulterior reasons: “Meanwhile, as it always views Russia as the most pressing realistic threat, hyping up the Russian threat to Ukraine can fuel up the tension between Russia and European countries, make Europe more dependent on America’s security protection, and therefore justify its reinforcements to the continent.

America’s obsession with the power of force and insistence on sending more troops overseas despite its overall decline is neither good for itself nor conducive to world peace and stability. It will only find itself the target of more criticism and objection if it continues to cling to the Cold War mindset…”

On 16FEB2022, the PLA published an article criticizing the U.S.-Australia alliance, saying it was a continuance of the Cold War: “…both the US and Australia adhere to the Cold War mentality and narrow geopolitical concept, hyping the so-called China threat to seek excuses for the strengthening of their alliance. This is against the trend of the times, not conducive to regional security and stability, and against the will of most countries in the Asia Pacific region for peaceful development…”

World War 3: China develops/deploys military systems specifically for Uyghur Autonomous Region!

China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has released information that reveals that China’s military is digging in its heal in the contested Uyghur Autonomous Region; military war games and equipment designed specifically for operations in that region.  The following is just some of the information that has been released.

On 25FEB2022, the PLA-Xinjiang Military Command revealed that they have developed new tents for use “in plateau area”.  Xinjiang Military Command (which falls under the PLA-Western Theater Command) is the command structure in charge of military operations in Uyghur Autonomous Region.

The new inflatable shower-point tent system is designed for high altitude use, using a low-power consumption 10-kilowatt diesel generator to provide light, and heat for the water tanks: “This tent is expected to solve the problem of troops taking shower on the plateau. It only takes 18 minutes to install and 16 minutes to uninstall with troops of one platoon.”-Wang Yuan, PLA Army Research Institute

Old system shower tents had heated water tanks, and designers admitted that the new system takes just as long as the old system to employ, but this new one uses the latest in insulation and can keep water above the freezing point for 12 hours at an outside air temperature of -41 °C.

On 11FEB2022, Xinjiang Military Command released this video, edited by Li Weichao, showing night operations using new night vision equipment, in the Karakoram Mountains:

On 07SEP2021, Xinjiang Military Command released video, edited by Xu Yi, showing troops using a new wheeled self-propelled artillery system.  The system has a lot of automated functions, in an attempt to reduce high altitude sickness that would be suffered by the troops during physical exertion:

Armament load-up exercise on high altitude air base somewhere in the Western Theater Command area, January 2022.

In September 2021, Xinjiang Military Command’s Kashi Military Sub-command began helicopter operations in areas that were previously considered ‘no-go-zones’ due to Chinese helicopter crews inexperience with such high altitudes and weather conditions.  Kashi Military Sub-command claims they successfully established ten high altitude helicopter routes.

In May 2021, Xinjiang Military Command units began training with their new Type 15 Light Tank (aka ZTQ-15), which was developed specifically for high altitude use; it is equipped with an oxygen generator.

This is a result of a North Korean general, working at their consulate in Vladivostok, who was arrested by Russia for illegally extending work visas for Koreans already in Russia.  The news reports also say that North Korea has moved its spy agency, known as  Enemy Collapse Sabotage Bureau, out of Russia!

It also turns out that the North Korean general tried to defect to Russia in July, however, Russian police arrested him on the 20th of September for violating Russian law regarding work visas, but since then he has ‘disappeared’!
