The Journal of the American Medical Association just published the results of their study into why health care cost so much in the United States; it’s price fixing by the entire health industry, from your doctor to hospitals to legal drug pushers!

The JAMA study says high health care prices have absolutely nothing to do with consumer demand, because consumer demand is actually crashing!

The study also found that many hospitals never reveal to their patients, and not even to doctors, how much they are charging: “This is not a market. It is far from a market. Few prices are known. They are not well publicized.”-Hamilton Moses

As far as Obama Care goes, since the law forces almost everybody in the U.S. onto privately run insurance cost will only go up.  That’s because the JAMA study found that a major factor in high health care costs was the insurance industry itself.  The administrative costs of dealing with insurance companies is increasing at a rate of at least 6% per year.

Exceptional Failed State: Obama regime lackey, Jack Lew, says “there was never an economic crisis”!

Today, in an interview with Japan’s NHK (Nippon Housou Kyoukai/Japan Broadcasting Corporation) U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, Jack Lew, responded to questions about the government debt crisis, 18% False Flag federal government shutdown and the U.S. economy by stating “It’s important to remember that there was never an economic crisis.”

Lew also said the U.S. economy is growing: “…we’re seeing a lot of signs in a lot of parts of the economy of strength……we see signs of increased growth on the horizon.”

Of course he didn’t give specifics, and he obviously hasn’t been reading Blind Bat News!

Exceptional Failed State: More Kmart Sears closings! Corporate America want’s crazy “power tripping” workers! Investors love it!

The following quotes partly explain what’s going on with unAmerican Corporate America.  They were found in the Ohio based derf magazine.

In San Clemente, California, a Kmart that was turned into a Sears, and then back into a Kmart in 2012, is being shut down.  A Kmart in Oceanside is finally being closed, it’s closing was announced back in December 2011. No word on when the final days are.

North Carolina losing another Kmart.  This ones in Garner. Local news media reports say no final closing date has been given.  Apparently the store has been on the closing list since 2012.

A Kmart in Sterling, Illinois, will close in January 2014.

The Rochester, Minnesota, Sears in the GGP owned Apache Mall to be sold off.  Sears Holdings officials gave the same BS statement about the fate of employees: “They will have an opportunity to apply for positions at other Kmart and Sears stores.”-Howard Riefs

Sears Canada selling off eight shopping centers!  The properties were sold for $315 million CAD.

Sears is trying to kiss up to military veterans offering them free shipping and extra bonus points in the Shop Your Way scheme.

Investors love what Sears Holdings is doing, the price of Sears Holdings shares remain above $55 USD per stock.

Alabama: Gadsden Kmart (50 jobs lost), Mobile Sears (at least 40 jobs lost), Auburn Kmart (at least 40 jobs lost), Anniston Kmart (no word yet on how many jobs lost), Birmingham Eastwood Kmart (70 jobs lost).

California:   El Monte Sears (at least 40 jobs lost. Damien Arrula, El Monte’s economic development director, said the store manager had lied about what was going on: “The general manager of the store had just indicated to me that they were remodeling.”), two San Diego Sears (at least 80 jobs lost), Pleasant Hill Kmart (more than 50 jobs lost), Torrance Kmart,  Fairfield Kmart (63 jobs lost),  Lampert owned OSH taken over by Lowe’s home improvement in bankruptcy court, at least 17 of 99 stores to be closed down (935 jobs lost!), Rancho Cordova Kmart (97 jobs lost), recently revealed San Clemente Kmart/Sears/Kmart on Camino de Estrella (58 jobs lost), placed on an official hit list in 2011 the Oceanside Kmart on College Boulevard finally being shut down.

Or, maybe it’s preps for Shop within a Shop, or one of those domestic spy data storage centers?  On 07 November 2013, GGP sold off the Pine Ridge Mall for a paltry $9 million USD.

Kansas: Lawrence Sears (at least 40 jobs lost).

Kentucky: Middlesboro Sears (in September 2012 the Sears store re-opened under independent ownership, official grand re-opening scheduled for November), Winchester Kmart (back in May, Rankin Paynter bought out what was left of the inventory and gave it to charity), Hazard Kmart (at least 40 jobs lost), Lexington Fayette Mall Sears (114 jobs lost!).

Maine: Lewiston Sears (60 to 70 jobs lost), Presque Isle Sears (80 jobs lost).

Oregon: Roseburg Sears (at least 40 jobs lost), Tualatin Kmart Center (new property owner from California is tearing everything down for new shopping center, so far no indication the Kmart will be part of the new shopping center), Milwaukie Kmart (61 jobs lost), Coos Bay Kmart (25 jobs lost), Bend Sears (48 jobs lost).

On top of that, Sears Holdings sold stores to General Growth Properties (GGP), of which it has been reported that most of those stores will be closed.

Texas: The Woodlands Mall (this does not involve the two repair centers being closed by Sears)

Utah: Fashion Place, and Provo Towne Centre (note the evil British empire way of spelling town & center. Due to a favorable lease agreement the GGP owned Provo Sears will continue to stay open under Sears Holdings management)

Oklahoma: Quail Springs Mall (it’s official, the Sears closed, see above)

Hawaii: Ala Moana Center (closed, see above)

Washington: Bellis Fair Mall (Bellingham store, see above)

Exceptional Failed State: U.S. job losses & store closings 22-27 August 2013. Hundreds more laid off due to Obama Care. California hit hard, once more! Jobs moving to Mexico to avoid Obama Care tax!

Incomplete list of announced closings and layoffs.

California: In Fresno GAF laid off nine people.  Tax sucker Boeing laid off 11 people.  In West Hollywood, local internet advertising developer CityGrid Media laid off 108 employees!  The company’s New York based parent, IAC, blames it on the bad economy, saying revenues could no longer support their California staff.  CityGrid laid off employees last year, too.  In Fountain Valley, memory card maker Kingston Technology laid off 55 people.  Production is being moved to Taiwan/China.  In San Clemente, Southern California Edison laid off 600 people!  It’s blamed on the shut down of the damaged and leaking San Onofre nuclear plant.  In Mountain View, Areva Solar laid off at least one person.  The Christian God can’t stop Obama Care layoffs. Christian medical university/hospital Loma Linda laid off 113 people! Loma Linda has been cutting pay and laying off employees since 2009.  In Arvin, medical device maker Salter Labs laid off 87 people. Salter Labs moving production to Mexico to avoid Obama Care’s tax on medical devices. Arvin has the highest unemployment rate in Kern County, in May it hit 29% unemployment before the Arvin layoffs were announced!  In Visalia, Medical Billings Technologies laid off 21 employees. In Alameda, Caliper Life Sciences laid off 60 employees.  In Cerritos, medical biller Revcycle+ laid off 189 people! In Redwood City, Abbvie Biotherapeutics laid off 63 employees.

New York: In White Plains, Pearson Education laid off 55 employees.

Ohio: What Obama Care? Blue Cross & Blue Shield laid off 159 people!  In Columbus, DialAmerica shut down a call center, 143 people unemployed!  The closure comes one month after DialAmerica claimed it would be hiring 170 people, local news media were refused an explanation.

South Carolina: What Obama Care? In Columbia, Medicare and Medicaid payments processor Palmetto GBA (a subsidiary of Blue Cross & Blue Shield) laid off 126 people!  Palmetto has been laying off employees since 2007, this after claiming to start hiring as many as 1-thousand people in 2004.

Tennessee: In Memphis, local shipping company ARL Memphis East laid off 89 employees.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) doesn’t count the hundreds of layoffs involving less than 50 people each, in its mass layoff reports. It also doesn’t count all the little ‘mom & pop’ businesses that shut down.

Incomplete list of announced closings and layoffs.

California: In Fresno GAF laid off three people.  Symantec laid off 160 people throughout the Golden State.  In Pittsburg, United Spiral Pipe let go 89 employees.  In Oxnard, Aerotek laid off 164 people!  In San Diego, Bridgepoint Education laid off 47.  Obama Care being blamed for 61 people becoming unemployed; Palomar Health and Mills-Peninsula Health made the cuts.

Kentucky: In Hawesville, Century Aluminum shut down, 750 people now unemployed!

New York: In Hicksville, Bunzi New York closed down, 30 jobs lost.  In College Point, Time Warner Cable laid off 75 employees.  In Middletown, the Acme Bus Company shut down, 164 employes on the street!

Wisconsin: In Beloit, Southeastern Container ceased operations.  In Milwaukee, the Urban Day School laid off 40 people.

Exceptional Failed State: British empire controls United States, and Idaho, through evil Christian G4S? South Africa accuses Christian G4S of torturing prisoners!

Ever hear of G4S?  They claim to be the “leading security company” in the United States, but the private prison concentration camp/private police state operator G4S is based out of the British empire’s United Kingdom.

G4S started out in the 1980s when four British private security companies merged.  Then they merged with a security company in Denmark, becoming Group 4 Falck in 2000.  In 2004 the name changed to G4S.   They took over the U.S. private prison concentration camp operator GEO (which used to be known as Wackenhut).

Their U.S. operation is also known as G4S Secure Solutions USA.

G4S has offices all over the U.S., including Boise, Idaho (aka Idaho Security Services).  Interestingly, GEO still operates as GEO even though they are now part of the G4S family.

GEO/G4S were planning to offer a bid to take over the operations of the evil Idaho Gladiator School (Idaho Correctional Center).  The latest news reports say GEO/G4S suddenly backed out, and even the current concentration camp operator, Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), is jumping ship.  MTC is apparently the new operator of the Idaho Gladiator School.

Idaho has been hit with lawsuits concerning mistreatment of prisoners, including claims of outright torture at the Gladiator School.  Don’t think the accusation of torture is far fetched.  South Africa (a member of the British empire, aka The Commonwealth) recently kicked out G4S, directly accusing G4S of torturing prisoners!  Not only that, but G4S mistreated 300 of their South African prison guards as well!

BBC interviewed one of the prison guards turned whistleblower, who said it is G4S (and possibly all private prison companies’) policy to torture prisoners who complain about mistreatment. The BBC report also says prisoners were forced to take drugs, similar kinds of drugs that the perpetrators of recent mass shootings in the U.S. were on.  Watch the disturbing BBC report here, it includes video shot by prison guards.

GEO (owned by G4S) runs concentration camps in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington state.

CCA runs concentration camps in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho (soon to go to MTC), Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington DC.

I know of at least one Boise area Fred Meyer that has drastically cut their employee hours, below 24 hours per week.  An employee there told me the cuts were unexpected, her hours were cut to 16 per week and she lost her Fred Meyer health insurance.  (Idaho is a Right to Work you over anti-union state) This was in mid-October.  It turns out the insurance was actually cut before then.  She had nine cavities filled and when the dentist filed the insurance claim they were told by the insurance provider that the policy had been canceled on 30 September!

She told me the majority of the employees at the Boise area Fred Meyer, where she works, are scheduled for only 20 hours per week.  There are three Fred Meyers in Boise.

Back in October a Fox.news report stated that as many as 30-thousand grocery store workers were preparing to go on strike in Washington state.  This was because they learned their employers were about to slash and burn their hours and benefits, to take advantage of Obama Care.  The report named Kroger Company’s Fred Meyer and QFC as some of those companies preparing to rip off their employees.   Albertsons and Safeway were also mentioned.

Kroger Company is a massive operation based in Ohio, and includes Baker’s, City Market, Dillons, Food 4 Less, Foods Company, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, Gerbes, Harris Teeter, Jay C, King Soopers, Kroger, Owen’s, Pay Less Super Markets, QFC, Ralph’s, Ruler Foods, Scott’s, Smith’s and numerous jewelry stores, dairy operations, bakeries, delis and meat plants all across the United States.

Obama Care (aka Affordable Care Act, aka Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act) allows companies to cancel health benefits for any employee working less than 30 hours per week.

On 06 November, Sears Holdings announced they will sell off even more U.S. and Canadian stores (at least five Canadian stores to close) into 2014.   Investors initially liked the news sending Sears Holdings stock prices up 12% (before backing back down), despite the fact that many investor analysts continue to repeat the mantras “Avoid Sears” & “Get Out Now”.

Sears is also closing a distribution center in Regina, Saskatchewan Canada.  276 jobs lost.

Sears Holdings also announced it is considering spinning off Land’s End and Sears Auto Center, as stand alone operations.

According to reports out of Massachusetts, Kmarts across the United States are being hit with bomb threats.  So far none have proven to be legit.   Apparently on 01 November, at least three Kmarts in Massachusetts were hit with bomb threats.  Anybody see the mainstream news report this?

Sears Holdings officials announced they will start a lease to own program through Kmart.  People who can’t afford to pay up front, or don’t have credit cards, can rent to own expensive merchandise.  It’s a sign of the bad economy.
