Got a nasty surprise when I decided to go through one of my storage tubs in a storage shed. The 40+ years old sheds decided to start leaking this past Winter during the snow melt. Still making scary discoveries even after months of clean-up.

This is why people in the United States refer to the rear storage area of a car as a ‘trunk’. In the early days you could buy a rack to mount your ‘steamer trunk’ (used mainly on steam-trains or ocean going steam-liners) on the back of your automobile, hence the trunk.

On 03NOV2023, the U.S. air force released this report about New Jersey Air National Guard’s F-16 deployment. Notice that instead of calling it a deployment, it is now called a “realignment”:
On 01NOV2023, The Times of Israel revealed that U.S. special operations units have been deployed to Israel, supposedly to help rescue hostages!
Israeli news outlet Haaretz revealed that not only has the U.S. deployed a massive naval fleet to the area, but so has the United Kingdom and other NATO members as well! Officially, the massive NATO/U.S. naval deployments are for evacuating citizens from Israel/Palestine.
Nebraska Army National Guard’s 1-134th Cavalry Squadron currently has units in Kuwait.
