Inside the cargo compartment of space-freighter Tianzhou-1
Aboard China’s new and just launched Tianzhou-1 space-freighter an experiment like no other is taking place; making space babies!
Among other experiments Chinese scientists are using human stem cells to test the viability of Earthlings being able to have sex, I mean conceive children in a weightless environment.
To make it even more interesting, the scientist conducting the experiment are still on Earth. They’ll be using remote sensing technology to ‘get-it-on’ in space.
On top of that, they hope to discover the ability to help Earthlings regrow new organs and limbs: “Maybe scientists will be able to induce stem cells to grow into certain tissues or organs in space in the future to serve people on earth. In another scenario, if a human is injured and loses organs in future space migration, the lost organs might be regenerated……We expect to continue our research into embryonic stem cells on China’s future space station. We aim to try to culture functional tissues, such as heart, kidney, liver and spleen tissues.”-Lei Xiaohua, Chinese Academy of Sciences

In the BAT ‘cave’ at Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center, Iowa.
According to the following video report there are only two BAT (BLACKHAWK AIRCREW TRAINER) in use, and the Iowa National Guard is the first state militia unit to get one of them:
By the way, one BAT costs taxpayers $9-million USD, which is cheaper than flying the real thing.
“We look forward to this joint training with our military and civilian partners. Training together with all four MAFFS wings alongside U.S. Forest Service and other wildland firefighting agencies here in Boise provides a significant opportunity as we prepare for another challenging wildfire season.”-Colonel Bryan Allen, Air Expedition Group

More than 4-hundred state National Guard and federal Reserve personnel from California, Colorado, Nevada and Wyoming arrived in Gowen Field, Idaho, for a week of U.S. Forest Service training: “MAFFS have played a critical role in wildfire suppression for more than 40 years by providing surge capacity when commercial airtankers are fully committed or not readily available as they frequently are during periods of high wildfire activity.”-Kim Christensen, USFS

But wait, it’s not what you think. The UTA doesn’t stand for The Walt Disney Company’s United Talent Agency, it stands for Unit Training Assembly. The Disney Award is a food service competition named after Senior Master Sergeant Kenneth W. Disney, also known as the Disney Food Service Excellence award.
