Exceptional Failed State: The Hell of ObamaCare Lies! People paying for ObamCare insurance yet to actually pay for it!

30 January 2014 (10:46 UTC-07 Tango)/28 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/10 Bahman 1392/30 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

CNN has polled insurance companies across the United States: Only one in five people who have to pay for Obama Care insurance have actually paid.

CNN is calling those who have failed to make their first Obama Care payment “ObamaCare Deadbeats”!

This means (by CNNs estimation) that at least 70-thousand people who signed up for insurance (that they have to pay for up front) through Obama Care will now be dropped, or at least be refused when they seek health care.

Also, it turns out that if you’re paying for your Obama Care insurance you have only ten days to make the payment from the time you get the bill!

Officials in Nebraska and Iowa said at least 18% of people who have to pay for their Obama Care insurance failed to make the deadline for the first payment.

Exceptional Failed State: The Hell of ObamaCare Lies! Secret court documents reveal plan by Idaho hospital and Blue Cross to jack up costs by 60%! Reveals Idaho insurance payments higher than national average!

30 January 2014 (09:22 UTC-07 Tango)/28 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/10 Bahman 1392/30 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

“By 2012, Saint Luke’s had three of the top five highest paid hospitals, and its top hospital was receiving reimbursements 21% higher than the average Idaho hospital.”-statement made during secret federal court trial

A federal judge ruled that Boise’s Saint Luke’s Regional Medical Center violated antitrust laws when it took over the Nampa’s Saltzer Medical Group.  On top of that, the now public court documents show the takeover was part of a sinister plan by the ‘Christian’ Saint Luke’s to jack up health care costs by as much as 60%!

The scam was revealed by a lawsuit filed against Saint Luke’s by Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, and the Federal Trade Commission.

The secret trial revealed that Saint Luke’s had been advised by consultants (from health insurance company Blue Cross) that if they killed off Saltzer Medical Group, thereby forcing many Idahoans in the area to go to Saint Luke’s, they could increase their billing rates.

The trial was kept secret at the request of Saint Luke’s and Blue Cross.  Both Saint Luke’s and Blue Cross begged the court keep the details of the trial secret once the trial concluded, but U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill ignored that request and “unsealed” the court documents!

The trial also revealed that for some reason Blue Cross pays Idaho hospitals and doctors much more than the national average: “Across the United States, the average commercial insurance plan pays about 120% of what Medicare pays. For overnight hospital stays in Idaho, (Blue Cross) pays between 150% to 200% more than Medicare pays. For outpatient hospital services, (Blue Cross) pays 300% more than Medicare. For routine office visits, (Blue Cross) pays 140% more than other commercial plans.”

Blue Cross and Saint Luke’s have appealed the ruling.

Influenza: Obama Care can’t help toddler with H1N1! Doctors intentionally infecting people to see if vaccines really work! Hospital officials give warning!

27 January 2014 (01:48 UTC-07 Tango)/25 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/07 Bahman 1392/27 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

Alberta, Canada: Influenza death toll now at 15.  More than 2500 confirmed cases, 600 hospitalizations.

Saskatchewan, Canada: Provincial health officials say more people have died from H1N1 than during the 2009-10 pandemic; 16 deaths and 1102 laboratory confirmed cases.  75% of infected people have other health problems.

Mexico: The Secretariat of Health reports 135 influenza deaths since the beginning of January.  1517 cases, with 180% of those happening since 16 January, and the overwhelming majority being H1N1.

The U.S. CDC says for the week of  12-18 January 2014, 96.8% of confirmed flu cases across the U.S.A. are H1N1.

Arizona, United States: A 2 and half years old girl, born with medical problems, is in a medically induced coma after getting H1N1.  Her parents brought her into the hospital when she had trouble breathing, a sign of H1N1.  The girl’s mother is now in the hospital as well, but doctors diagnosed her with Valley Fever.  Doctors said the girl is on as many as 17 medications to try and fight off H1N1. The family needs financial help, so much for Obama Care.

California, United States: State health officials confirmed 95 influenza deaths, and are investigating another 51.  In Turlock a fast food store manager, and mother of two, is in the hospital with severe H1N1.  The Emanuel Medical Center of Turlock is now restricting children from visiting patients. In San Diego, Rady Children’s Hospital reports that since 01 January 2014, 13 children put into ICU  with severe flu.  Hospitals in Los Angeles are expecting a spike in cases.  Cedars-Sinai now requires visitors to wear masks. Hospital officials say they are not seeing a drop in the number of flu infected people coming in, and they expect the next few weeks could see worsening cases.

Illinois, United States: Department of Public Health reporting 122 people in intensive care fighting severe influenza.

Maryland, United States: Want to make $3-thousand USD getting sick on purpose?  The National Institutes for Health is conducting a study to see if vaccines really work.  Yeah that’s right, all that hyperbole about how effective vaccines are is BS: “As mind-boggling as it is, we don’t know the answer to that. We made some assumptions that we knew everything about flu.”-Anthony Fauci, NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases

Massachusetts, United States: Alere Incorporated claims they have a flu test that can give you results in 15 minutes.  The U.S. FDA is reviewing it.

Michigan, United States: Department of Community Health reports 232 lab confirmed flu cases since 30 September 2013.  The overwhelming majority are H1N1, and have been hospitalized.

North Dakota, United States: A 30 years old woman was the first to die from H1N1 in the Peace Garden State.

Tennessee, United States: At least 19 people dead from influenza, surpassing the death toll from the 2009-10 H1N1 pandemic.

Texas, United States: The doctor who came down with H1N1 and was initially misdiagnosed by fellow doctors as having a bacterial infection, and then had to be put into a coma for almost a month, has woken up.  His wife and adult daughter also got sick and recovered.

Norovirus Vomiting Bug: Cruise ships hit hard! Japan hit hard, again! Hospital infections & deaths being hushed up? Using too many drugs can make it worse!

26 January 2014 (01:50 UTC-07 Tango)/24 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/06 Bahman 1392/26 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) can cause norovirus like symptoms.  Most tumors are detected after misdiagnosis.

India: A new medical study, to be published in February, shows that the more prescription drugs you use, the harder it is to deal with tummy infections.  Specifically the vomiting bug bacteria known as shigellosis.  Researchers warn against using nalidixic acid, ampicillin, co-trimoxazole and ciprofloxacin.

Italy: A study says giving your baby probiotics will reduce the chances of it getting some types of gastrointestinal diseases.  Probiotics are ‘good’ bacteria that help your stomach.

Aomori Prefecture, Japan: At least 77 people with symptoms of norovirus after eating box lunches (bentos) they bought at a store. The store has been ordered to stop selling the lunches.

Gunma Prefecture, Japan:  At least 2800 people sickened after eating frozen foods laced with malathion.  An arrest has been made.  Company officials have apologized.  Police suspect the employee they arrested deliberately poisoned the frozen foods, over the course of four production runs, because of issues regarding his pay.  The employee denies the accusation.

Hiroshima, Japan: 303 Junior High School students, and 20 teachers from ten schools got sick.  Health officials suspect norovirus.  Lunches for all ten schools are supplied by the same food service contractor.

Kyoto, Japan: Four people dead at Soseikai General Hospital.  Officials finally revealed the seriousness of the outbreak, saying it’s been going on for the past five weeks!  At least 101 patients and employees of the hospital have been infected with norovirus.

United Kingdom:  Health official are telling people that if they’ve been sick with norovirus symptoms, they need to stay away from hospitals for at least 48 hours after feeling better. Norovirus continues to close hospital wards with  Wigan Infirmary and Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

Georgia, United States: Reports of 30 people down at the Warner Robins Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  Both patients and employees are sick.  Tests are being done to determine the cause.

Florida, United States: Indian River County revealing that “Norovirus has been identified as the culprit in several recent outbreaks in long term care facilities….”-Cheryl Dunn, Florida Department of Health

Minnesota, United States: Many students at schools in Hermantown were out sick due to an outbreak.  A school nurse noted that most of the locals were calling it a flu outbreak, when in fact it is probably norovirus.  They are suspecting self serve lunches in the schools’ cafeterias.

New Jersey, United States: The Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas ship halted its voyage to the U.S. Virgin Islands shortly after leaving Cape Liberty.  303 passengers and crew became violently ill.  The ship had to be “sanitized” in Puerto Rico.  The U.S. CDC will investigate.

New York, United States:  Duchess County Department of Health warning of increased gastrointestinal diseases.   Specifically norovirus.

Virginia, United States: In Midlothian, it’s been revealed there was an outbreak of norovirus at the Bon Secours Saint Francis Medical Center.  Between 30 to 40 hospital employees got sick after eating food brought in by a contracted food service.  The actual cause is still being investigated.

The U.S. CDC says norovirus accounts for as many as 800 deaths in the United States, every year.

Norovirus (aka Norwalk Virus), is a surface contact bug, meaning you pick it up by touching or eating it.  It is not influenza and there is still no vaccine for fast evolving RNA norovirus.  The only ‘treatment’ is to keep the sick person hydrated.

Exotic anti-biotic soaps can’t kill norovirus, or any other virus for that matter, because anti-biotics are only for bacteria.  Despite that, even hand ‘sanitizers’ made with alcohol can’t totally get rid of norovirus.   Guess what apparently works?  According to the U.S. CDC old fashioned hand soap is best.  Consumer Reports says to leave the soap on your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds.  Also, in public restrooms use a paper towel to turn off the faucet and to open the door, do not touch surfaces with your bare hands after washing them.

Wash household surfaces with bleach.

The worse thing is that you can be infected and not have any symptoms.  An infected person can spread norovirus, yet not feel sick themselves. If you think you might be infected do not cook food for other people. People recovering from traditional symptoms of norovirus can continue spreading the bug for days after feeling better (some reports say weeks).

Influenza: H1N1 hits Vietnam! Yet another study links vaccine with Narcolepsy! County health officials say Vaccine has 40% failure rate! Over the counter meds spreading the flu?

23 January 2014 (08:08 UTC-07 Tango)/21 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/03 Bahman 1392/23 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

Ontario, Canada: Researchers at McMaster University have discovered that widespread use of off the shelf/over the counter non-prescription cold medication is actually spreading influenza: “When they have flu, people often take medication that reduces their fever. No one likes to feel miserable, but it turns out that our comfort might be at the cost of infecting others. Because fever can actually help lower the amount of virus in a sick person’s body and reduce the chance of transmitting disease to others, taking drugs that reduce fever can increase transmission.”-David Earn

Seoul, Korea: A former California native died from H1N1.  The 32 years old English teacher died just 24 hours after phoning friends and family in the Golden State, to tell them she was sick.  The Sacramento family needs financial help to bring her body home for burial.

Stockholm, Sweden: Researchers at the Karolinska Institute say the vaccine specifically for H1N1 causes narcolepsy.

Alabama, U.S.A.: Doctors at University of Alabama are resorting to an extreme treatment to fight H1N1.  It’s known as ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation).  It involves a machine that bypasses your heart and lungs in order to provide oxygen to your body.  It’s considered a last resort treatment.   H1N1 kills by depriving your body of oxygen, if you’re sick and you have trouble breathing and feel tired (caused by lack of oxygen) get to a hospital fast.

Arkansas, U.S.A.: Department of Health reports a total of 24 flu deaths.

Arizona, U.S.A.: State health officials report a 50% increase in flu cases in the past week.  If you have signs of H1N1, shortness of breath and tired from lack of oxygen, there’s a reason you need to get to the hospital fast: “If someone seeks medical attention and gets on an anti-viral medication within the first 48 hours, we can usually truncate the illness and mitigate the symptoms. After 48 hours, the medicine doesn’t usually work.”-Kurt Solem, Scottsdale Healthcare

California, U.S.A.: Sacramento County reports a total of 14 flu deaths. Madera County reports their first H1N1 death.  Santa Barbara County reports a 20 years old woman died of flu, but they’re not sure yet which version of flu.  Officials have confirmed three people sick with H1N1.  Fresno County reports four new deaths. Contra Costa County reports three new deaths.  San Francisco County reports one death. San Mateo County reports one new death.  Sonoma County reports one death. In San Diego, Scripps announced that at all their five hospitals visitors will be screened for flu before they can visit loved ones. Visitors who test positive for flu will be turned away. Many hospitals across California are restricting visitation. Doctors are advising that people start wearing masks.  Flu season now considered worst in past five years.

Connecticut, U.S.A.: Westport Weston Health District out of vaccines.  This contradicts the main streamer news media constantly harping that not not enough people are getting the flu shot.

Florida, U.S.A.: A flu death at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, and a flu death at University Hospital in Tamarac.

Idaho, U.S.A.: Kootenai Health, in Coeur d’Alene, had to turn people away due to overcrowding: “At one point we were short of critical care beds and running short of ventilators for life support.”-Walt Fairfax, Chief Medical Officer

Kansas, U.S.A.: Sedgwick County health officials report continued increase in influenza cases, despite the fact that about 40% of the residents have been vaccinated.  Officials now say the vaccine is only 60% effective.

Kentucky, U.S.A.: Veterinarians from the University of Kentucky are warning that the use of NSAIDs pain killers will interfere with influenza vaccines! The warning concerns horses being given flu shots, and pain killers.  The NSAID could prevent the horse from developing anti-bodies to the flu vaccine.  If this could be a problem for horses, what about humans?

Nevada, U.S.A.:  State health officials report nine flu deaths so far, more than the number of flu deaths at the same time last year.

North Carolina, U.S.A.: Alamance County reports their first flu death, a child.  So far 28 people have died from influenza in the Old North State.

North Dakota, U.S.A.:  Sanford Hospital in Bismark is asking children to stay away: “Since we’re in the peak season we need to protect our patients. It seems to be a little more aggressive in the middle-aged patients than in the past so it’s our responsibility to protect those that we can and those are the patients housed in our institution here.”-Anthony Tello

Ohio, U.S.A.:  A 29 years old man became the 5th person to die from H1N1 in Lucas County.  The father of the man said they took him to an urgent care center, where doctors told him his son did not need to be hospitalized because “he is young, he’ll bounce back”.  He was sent home, only to get worse.  He went to hospital when he could hardly breath.  He died of double pneumonia.  It was only a matter of a few days from the time he got sick to when he died.  H1N1 kills by depriving your body of oxygen, if you’re sick and you have trouble breathing and feel tired (caused by lack of oxygen) get to a hospital fast.

Oregon, U.S.A.: A woman in her 50s is in a medically induced coma at OHSU.  Her boyfriend said it hit her hard, going into pneumonia shortly after going to the hospital. Her breathing was reduced to 10%! Doctors said her only chance for recovery was to be put into a coma.  H1N1 kills by depriving your body of oxygen, if you’re sick and you have trouble breathing and feel tired (caused by lack of oxygen) get to a hospital fast.

Tennessee, U.S.A.: Vanderbilt University Medical Center reports 17 influenza deaths.  Metro Health Department out of vaccines (this shows you that a lot of people are getting the flu shot).

Texas, U.S.A.: Local news reports say many health clinics have run out of vaccine.  Pharmacies are reporting they have plenty of shots, however several people interviewed by local TV news reported that they tried to get a shot at a retail pharmacy a couple of weeks ago and were told they were out of stock.

Washington, U.S.A.: Four Spokane hospitals had to turn people away due to overcrowding.

Hanoi, Vietnam: 41 students from Tri Duc High School were hospitalized with H1N1.  Health officials say most have recovered but a few are still sick with fever.

Influenza: H1N1 hits Cyprus! Florida fighting epidemic! Medical incompetence could kill doctor! Europe planning for 2014-15 pandemic? FEMA preps for pandemic?

22 January 2014 (18:32 UTC-07 Tango 21 January)/20 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/02 Bahman 1392/22 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada:  A second person has died from H1N1.  Health officials report that overall flu cases are well below last year’s numbers.

Ontario, Canada: A 16 months old infant in North Bay died from H1N1.  927 confirmed flu cases in the province.

European Union: The European Centre for Disease prevention and Control (ECDC) says influenza is now hitting Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal and Spain.

Germany reports only four confirmed influenza cases at this point (H3N2 & H1N1).

Across all of the European Union (EU) 62% of flu cases are H1N1, 38% are H3N2.  Despite the common belief that flu is a cold weather bug, European health officials point out that the flu is migrating north as temps warm up.  Influenza season in Europe actually begins in the much warmer Mediterranean countries.

In Cyprus, two people have checked into a privately run hospital with H1N1.  Health officials told Cypriots not to worry as H1N1 is now part of the “…seasonal influenza which is circulating in other European Countries.”

The ECDC is also warning that there is not enough flu shots in the EU.  Not because there is a shortage, but because EU members have failed to stockpile enough.  Most EU members are only at 40%-60% of what is planned to be a mass influenza vaccination program in preparation for the 2014-15 flu season.  Mmmm, why the concern for such a massive vaccination program?

The U.S. FEMA is also preparing for pandemic: “The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is seeking to augment its market research……..bio-medical waste collection and removal services during emergency response events…..Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with one or more contractor(s) for a base period of 1-year plus four twelve-month option periods.”

Florida, U.S.A.: State health officials say influenza is now at epidemic levels.  H1N1 is the dominant version, and it’s hitting pregnant women and people in their 40s hardest.  There are now an average of about 400 new cases per week in the Sunshine State.  Officials admit many counties do not track influenza related deaths.

New York, U.S.A.: Madison County reporting their first H1N1 death.

Texas, U.S.A.: A doctor with the Heart Institute of East Texas, is now in a medically induced coma because of H1N1. His wife is also hospitalized, and suffered a heart attack because of H1N1.  Their adult daughter said H1N1 hit her father hard and fast, and his own fellow doctors misdiagnosed the problem: “He was making his rounds and became nauseous. He went to the emergency room and they told him they thought he had an upper respiratory infection and sent him home with an antibiotic. My mom began to get sick the next day after caring for him.”-Rebecca Gill

Anti-biotics do nothing against flu viruses!  They are for fighting bacteria only. Rebecca Gill says she is sick now, as well, and is asking for financial help.

Wisconsin, U.S.A.:  Reports of 397 hospitalizations.

Influenza: H7N9 medical martial law! U.S. CDC issues directive!

22 January 2014 (17:32 UTC-07 Tango 21 January)/20 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/02 Bahman 1392/22 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

China: National Health and Family Planning Commission now coordinating closely with other national and local government departments to stop the spread of deadly H7N9.   The UN World health Organization reports at least 47 confirmed H7N9 cases in China since the beginning of January.  Most are hospitalized in critical condition.

Since March 2013, there’ve been at least 200 human cases in China, with at least 55 deaths.

Health officials continue to claim H7N9 is not a human to human virus, despite that fact that more and more cases involve people who’s only contact with H7N9 is with infected humans.

Also, The South China Morning Post says an unnamed hospital official confirmed that a 31 years old surgeon who recently died from H7N9 had no contact with birds.  The unnamed hospital official thinks the doctor got sick from hospital patients infected with H7N9.

Back in August 2013, it was confirmed that a woman caring for her sick father caught H7N9 from him.

Japan:  Japanese health officials have been warning for a long time that H7N9 has become a human influenza.  Now the Japanese government is preparing for medical martial law.

The Tokyo Quarantine Station and Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department held a drill in which 35 people were locked down at the Haneda Airport, for being infected with H7N9.  Japanese health officials say the only way H7N9 is going to get into their country is from sick travelers.

Taiwan: Health officials know what Japan is fearing, as two people who traveled to Taiwan, from mainland China, brought H7N9 with them.  One of those has just died.

An 86 years old man who arrived in Taiwan, in December, sick with H7N9 has just died.  Interestingly he died six days after being released from medical quarantine.  The official cause of death is septic shock.

The first person to bring H7N9 to Taiwan was a man returning from a business trip to China, in April 2013.  It took one month of intensive care before he recovered.

United States: “Potential cases of human infection with influenza A (H7N9) virus should also be investigated, using current case definitions and testing recommendations for avian influenza A (H7N9) virus.”-U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Influenza: H1N1 epidemic now official! More pregnant women going down! More evidence vaccines can make you sick!

20 January 2014 (21:15 UTC-07 Tango 19 January 2013)/18 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/30 Dey 1392/20 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

Alberta, Canada: Health Services reporting 10 deaths and 22-hundred confirmed influenza cases.  Don’t blame it on people not getting the flu shot, the province is now rationing their remaining flu shots for children who need a second dose, and for an even bigger outbreak.

New Brunswick, Canada: Health officials report four flu deaths, 300 confirmed flu cases, 50 hospitalizations.  Health officials admitted they do not know how many people have been vaccinated versus those who haven’t been.

Saskatchewan, Canada:  Health Ministry officials report 12 deaths, but they’re not 100% sure if they are flu related.  797 confirmed influenza cases since October. Vaccines are being rationed to children under five years of age, pregnant women and people in ‘high risk groups’.  100-thousand nasal vaccines are expected from the United States.

Mexico: Health Ministry reports 32 deaths from influenza, and 556 confirmed cases (468 confirmed H1N1).  30 of those who died did so from the H1N1 version of flu.  They died within six days of getting infected.  Officials say at least 800-thousand people have been vaccinated.

Spain: The number of H1N1 hospitalizations have jumped to 279, and 11 people have died.  Just a few days ago it was around 43 hospitalizations with two deaths.

The U.S. CDC has declared the influenza an epidemic in the United States.  Interested in becoming an influenza spy?  Apply now for the CDC’s Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS).      At least 20 children have died from H1N1 (the CDC does not track adult deaths from influenza).

Arkansas, U.S.A.:  A 29 years old Fort Smith woman is in critical condition with H1N1.  She went down fast, only a matter of days from first symptoms to a medically induced coma.  She was 20 weeks pregnant but lost the baby.  Family members say her body automatically delivered the baby, in response to the infection.

California, U.S.A.:  State health officials report spike in deaths.  Current deaths are almost at the number of all Golden State influenza deaths for all of the 2012-13 flu season.

Idaho, U.S.A.:  Department of Health and Welfare declared the influenza outbreak to be at “widespread” level.  H1N1 is the dominate strain.

Illinois, U.S.A.: McLean County reports two influenza deaths.  One of the men who died was confirmed infected with H1N1.

Iowa, U.S.A.: Department of Public Health reports a child died from H1N1.  They refuse to give the age or sex, or name of the victim.  They also said there were several adult deaths that could’ve been caused by influenza.

Louisiana, U.S.A.:  An 18 years old senior at Oak Hill High School, in Rapides Parish, died from H1N1.  His family says he was hit hard, laying still in his bed, then a few days later he died.

Montana, U.S.A.:  Department of Health and Human Services reports 19-hundred influenza cases, 150 hospitalizations and three deaths since the start of the 2013-14 flu season in October.  Realize that Montana is a sparsely populated state, and you can see their number of cases are relatively high.

Ohio, U.S.A.:  Toledo-Lucas County health officials are warning that they could see record H1N1 deaths this flu season. Seven deaths in the Buckeye State so far.

Texas, U.S.A.: In Denton, a 46 years old mother of two is now in a coma with H1N1.  Doctors say they were forced to induce the coma, to try and save her.

Researchers from Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report that their study shows that giving children the flu shot along with the pneumococcal shot can make them sick: “Parents should be made aware that their child might develop a fever following simultaneous influenza and pneumococcal vaccinations…….For the small group of children who must avoid fever, these findings provide important information….”-Melissa Stockwell, Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons

Ontario, Canada: The Sudbury and District Health Unit warned of increasing cases of Norwalk virus at day care centers.

United Kingdom: Multiple hospitals have wards closed due to vomiting bug.  They include Warwick (strange because on the same day there was a report saying restrictions had been lifted), Borders General Hospital, Dumfries Infirmary.

California, U.S.A.: Baywood Court Retirement Community reports an outbreak of severe gastrointestinal illness.  People are being told to stay in their rooms.  The dining hall is closed.

Florida, U.S.A: A Royal Caribbean cruise ship docked with at least 68 sick passengers and crew.

Louisiana, U.S.A.:  The U.S. FDA is warning that oysters from Copano Bay are giving people norovirus.  Remember the BP oil spill?

Oregon, U.S.A.: Rock Creek Elementary shut down after 100 kids and several staff got sick. Washington County Department of Health and Human Services suspects norovirus.  One parent lamented “I had them wash their hands. I don’t know of any realistic precautions you can take.”-Molly Brown

Virginia, U.S.A.:  Saint Francis Medical Center reports that at least 32 employees are sick. There are no reports that patients are sick, hospital officials blamed children without any proof.  The hospital is now using a ultra-violet light robot to sanitize rooms.

More and more studies concerning autism are making connections to gastrointestinal problems.  One study said 43% of their autistic subjects had GI problems. Researchers also made GI connections to families that have a history of anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders.

Germany’s Haribo sugarless gummy bears are making people sick, at least that’s what self proclaimed victims are reporting on Amazon’s Customer Review page.  People are reporting gastrointestinal problems after eating just a handful of the bears.  One man admitted he ate one pound worth in one sitting, then suffered “Gastrointestinal Armageddon” Anybody remember those fat free cookies and chips, that acted like intense laxatives if you ate just a handful? Stay away from junk food that’s made with fake sugar, or fat substitutes.
