World War 3: U.S. accuses Venezuela of cyber war, Venezuela closes consulate in Florida

Livia Acosta Noguera, Venezuela’s consul general in Miami, Florida, was accused by U.S. President Barack Obama of being a cyber terrorist!  She left Florida this week.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez says he will now close down their consulate in Florida.  Chavez said his intelligence officials discovered that Obama was going to make the accusation back in December: “We already knew this was going to happen.”

Red Horse & False War on Drugs in Mexico: 13,000 people killed in the first 9 months of 2011. Prepare for U.S. invasion

Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other.

The Mexican attorney general released an official death toll for the first nine months of 2011. It’s 11% higher than the same time in 2010.  2010’s death toll was 70% higher than 2009!  So far the official death toll in the so called Mexican war on drugs is 45,515! That’s not a war on drugs, that’s an all out civil war!

In May, 2011, I wrote that what was going on in Mexico was actually a civil war between the pro-U.S. government, and ultra right wing nationalist.  One reason is that the majority of people getting killed are not drug dealers or police, but migrant workers from Central American countries, as well as a few tourists from the United States!

In a 1998 book (called The Next War), co-authored by former U.S. Secretary of Defense under Ronald Reagan, Caspar Weinberger listed which countries the United States was going to go to war with (so far he’s been right, one being Iraq, the other [most likely] being Iran), and that includes Mexico!

“…an American expeditionary force invades Mexico to topple a corrupt and recalcitrant drug-running regime…”-Amazon book review

Weinberger’s scenarios are based on actual Department of Defense war scenarios.  In the case of Mexico, the scenario says that nationalist drug lords take over Mexico and begin nationalizing the oil industry (which the U.S. oil companies had worked so hard to take over).  Under the pretext of stopping masses of refugees flowing into the U.S., and to restore democracy, the United States invades Mexico.  The invasion is launched from Texas.

By the way, Weinberger also says we are going to attack Russia, Korea and Japan.  The 1998 book also talks about cyber warfare and Arab uprisings (what is now called The Arab Spring in the West).  Mmmm, are our leaders using this book as a guide?

White Horse & World War 3: Russian navy protects Syria, Turkey seizes ship and trucks with ‘banned’ weapons

I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

After a 48 hour stop over in a Syrian port, the Russian navy is now conducting maneuvers in the Mediterranean Sea. The Russian fleet is led by the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov, which carries Su-33 fighter jets and Ka-27 anti-submarine helicopters.

The five ship fleet traveled 6,000 nautical miles (6,904 miles) to protect Syria. It also took part in war games with the Greek navy.

Also being reported is that a Russian cargo ship might have delivered military equipment to the Syrian government.  Turkish officials seized the Russian ship after it left Syria.  Turkish port authorities have only stated that they found “dangerous cargo” on the ship, which violated current European Union arms sanctions against Syria.  Because the Russian ship tried to dock in Turkey, Turkish officials say that gives them the right to seize the ship under EU arms sanctions (Turkey is not a full member of the EU, it is an “associate member”).

This action comes after Turkish Customs officials seized four trucks heading to Syria from Iran.  They claim the trucks were carrying weapons.  This is confusing info because the Iranian media continue to issue reports that Turkey supports Iran and Syria!

White Horse & World War 3: U.S. Troop build up in Kuwait, 15,000 at least. Why for? Army officials admit its to prepare for coming wars. New York National Guard suddenly diverted from Afghanistan to Kuwait

I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

“What we had in the past, we had forces to provide security as we rotated units in and out of theater….Now it’s a platform, a final destination, so to speak, for contingency forces that can be used in the [Central Command] theater.”-unnamed U.S. military official quoted in the ArmyTimes

The ArmyTimes reporting that 15,000 U.S. troops are being added to those already based in Kuwait. The combat troops are coming from active Army units as well as the Minnesota and Maryland National Guards, with more to come from New York National Guard.

“The initial purpose for them was to provide security as we were pulling back units in Iraq.  Now….They do provide a capable force that could be used elsewhere if necessary.”-unnamed U.S. military official quoted in the ArmyTimes

The ArmyTimes is calling the deployment of troops to Kuwait a “response force”.

Also reported in the ArmyTimes is the fact that the New York National Guard has suddenly been diverted from its mission in Afghanistan to Kuwait.  The New York National Guard unit includes about 1,800 soldiers from New York and 300 from South Carolina.  They are scheduled to arrive in Kuwait in late February.

Corporate Incompetence & What Economic Recovery? Hoku Materials begs for money from China, to pay its overdue Idaho Power bill

Pocatello, Idaho’s, polysilcon factory, run by Hoku Materials (which is a subsidiary of Hoku Corporation, which is 60% owned by China’s Tianwei New Energy Holdings Company Limited) continues to have trouble paying its electric bill.

Hoku has paid part of its November Idaho Power bill (still owes interest), but has failed to pay its December bill.  As a result Hoku has turned, once again, to China for financial help.   At least $1.9 million will be wired from the Bank of China.

Idaho Power says it’s tired of the games Hoku is playing, and will end power supply on January 26 if the balance isn’t paid in full.

You know, the utilities have no problem cutting off power to individuals who can’t pay their power bills, so why not when it comes to a corporation that owes millions of dollars?

This might be the final nail in the coffin for Hoku, which is years behind schedule and hasn’t even started polysilicon operations yet (although its Chinese owners jumped the gun and announced such production start up back in December).

CORPORATE INCOMPETENCE:  IDAHO’S HOKU POLYSILICON FACTORY, LOOKS MORE AND MORE LIKE THE DEAL IS OFF!

Black Horse & Political Chicanery: Idaho Republicans rip off Idaho taxpayers. One gets paid to sleep on his office couch, the other gets paid to sleep in his parents home!

“…there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”

The Associated Press revealed that at least two Idaho state lawmakers were being paid as much as $122 per diem to sleep in their office, or parent’s home!

Those lawmakers are Republicans John McGee and Curt McKenzie.  McGee has already made the news back in 2011, when he was arrested, and charged with grand theft and drunk driving!

According to the Associated Press, both Idaho state Senators were being paid $122 per day even though they live less than 30 miles from Boise! Gee that’s nice, there are many more Idahoans driving more than that to get to work, and they don’t get paid for it!

It’s not just that they were being paid $122 per day but it was the fact that they were actually staying in Boise; McKenzie took the money even though he slept on his office couch, and McGee claimed the money even though he was staying with his parents.

But don’t think this report by AP will end the scandal, both Idaho Republicans told the Associated Press that they will still claim per diem, but at a smaller rate of $49 per day!

White Horse & World War 3: U.S. sanctions on Iran target Chinese company, China pissed

I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

In the name of sanctioning Iran, the United States has imposed sanctions on a Chinese company, the Zhuhai Zhenrong Corporation.

U.S. State Department claims that Zhuhai Zhenrong is Iran’s largest supplier of refined petroleum products. China is not happy:  “Imposing sanctions on a Chinese company based on a domestic U.S. law is totally unreasonable, and does not conform to the spirit or content of UN Security Council resolutions about the Iran nuclear issue. China expresses its strong dissatisfaction and adamant opposition.”-Liu Weimin, spokesman for China’s Foreign Ministry

The U.S. action comes as China is increasing oil deals with Arab Peninsula countries, and reducing oil imports from Iran.

Pale Green Horse & Red Horse: Greed for Oil and Cattle Rustling shuts down international health care services for people of South Sudan. U.S. involved

Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other.

I looked and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him.  They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

Since the United States lifted its economic embargo on South Sudan in July 2011, the young country has been spiraling out of control.

Recently South Sudan officials accused Sudan of stealing its oil.  In the latest case they say Sudan stole 650,000 barrels of oil, which was loaded onto a Sudan ship.  Sudan replied by saying South Sudan failed to pay import duties on the oil.  Currently South Sudan must ship its oil through Sudan to ports on the Red Sea.

To make matters worse, South Sudan is in a civil war.  More than seven groups claim that the pro-U.S. government of South Sudan has no intention of living up to its democratic promises (typical of pro-U.S. governments).

But the fighting has gotten so bad that it has international health care providers, and innocent people of South Sudan, running for their lives: “Thousands of people in Lekongole and Pibor fled in the last week and are now hiding in the bush, frightened for their lives. They fled in haste and have no food or water, some of them doubtless with wounds. Now they are hiding on their own, beyond the reach of humanitarian assistance.”-Parthesarathy Rajendran, Medecins Sans Frontieres (French for Doctors Without Borders)

On January 13, the UN World Health Organization announced that fighting in the northern state of Jonglei had destroyed all international health facilities in that area.  So far more than 200 international health care workers have been airlifted out.

In one report, the fighting in the state of Jonglei is being blamed on two rival tribes, who accuse each other of cattle rustling.

Pale Green Horse: Cambodia first H5N1 human case for 2012

I looked and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him.  They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

Cambodia’s Ministry of Health confirmed that a 2 year old boy has H5N1 (aka Bird Flu).  The boy became sick on January 3 with fever, cough, runny nose and vomiting.  He was transferred to a hospital on January 9, and is in critical condition.

Officials say the boy had been in contact with sick, or dead, birds before falling ill.  H5N1 seems to be more deadly in Cambodia.  So far 19 people have become infected since the H5N1 outbreak a few years ago.  16, of those 19 infected, died.

White Horse & World War 3: China may be moving away from Iran. Making deals with pro-U.S. Saudi Arabia, Qatar & UAE. Cuts oil imports from Iran

I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

The Chinese Premier, Wen Jiabao, is visiting several Arab Peninsula countries, signing major oil deals with Saudi Arabia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates.

Saudi Arabia is already China’s biggest supplier of oil.  The new deals include building a 400,000 barrel per day refinery just for China, and Chinese companies expanding the infrastructure of the Arabian Peninsula countries.

This comes after China announced it would cut oil imports from Iran, blaming contractual issues (not pressure from the U.S.).

However, Premier Wen said China and Saudi Arabia needed to deepen their cooperation “…in the face of changeable and complicated regional and international trends.”
