World War 3: Proof the coming global war will be against China, U.S. sending 60% of naval fleet to Asia-Pacific region! Blame South China Sea oil fields!

“…make no mistake, in a steady, deliberate and sustainable way, the United States military is re-balancing and brings enhanced capabilities to this vital region.”-Leon Panetta, U.S. Secretary of Defense

2 June 2012, U.S. Defense Secretary, Leon Panetta, announced that the United States is now sending most of its Navy to the Asia-Pacific region, with the goal of having 60% of U.S. naval forces in place by 2020!

Panetta made the announcement at the annual Shangri-La Dialogue conference, in Singapore.  He stressed that the bad economy, and U.S. government budget cuts will not affect the buildup of U.S. military forces near the South China Sea.

The coming full blown global war could be between China and the West, not between Christians and Muslims. It will be centered on controlling the immense oil fields at the bottom of the South China Sea.

The U.S. has been there before, it was called (unofficially) the Vietnam War.

Decades ago, while doing research in a community college library in California, I came a cross a little black book, published only once.  It was a chronicle of U.S. and European oil companies who were attempting to explore the South China Sea.  They concluded that there was massive oil reserves there, but the technology needed to get at it was not worth what oil was selling for. Believe it or not the average price per barrel of oil, from 1958 to 1970, was only $3.00 USD!!!

According to the book (of which I forget the title), the oil industry’s decision not to spend anymore money on South China Sea exploration was a key factor in U.S. President Richard Nixon’s decision to get out of Vietnam (the peaceful anti-war demonstrations had nothing to do with it).

Since the end of the Vietnam War, China has laid claim to the entire South China Sea.  In the past few years several other countries have as well, such as; Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Philippines and Japan.  Why? Because the current price per barrel of oil makes drilling in the South China Sea worth it!

Already China has secretly built natural gas rigs in the Sea.  They were discovered by Japanese recon planes sent to investigate the sighting of huge fire balls shooting into the sky.

To enforce how important the South China Sea is to the Whore of Babylon oil industry of the United States, in November 2011 a U.S. Asian political analyst said: “If we are going to move out of this recession, Asia is going to be part of that equation. Asia is where we are going to grow.”-Ernest Bower, Southeast Asia Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies

This newly announced U.S. naval buildup in the Asian Pacific is on top of the U.S. military buildup in Australia.

What Economic Recovery? Fast oil money, and a big wind farm, brings Hyper Inflation to Kanasas

“Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas any more.”-Dorothy, MGM’s 1939 movie version of Wizard of Oz

Just as North Dakotans are dealing with hyperinflation thanks to their exploding economy, which in turn is no thanks to their oil boom, now Kansans are experiencing the same thing: “It’s like a gold rush. No one knew this little area was worth anything, and now all of a sudden there’s all kinds of business going on, and everyone wants a piece of it.”-Kathy Smith, motel owner who turns away 25 customers per day!

The oil industry has been busy in Kanasas, and the result is that in the past three years the cost of living there has tripled, at least.  Oh and don’t forget the new wind farm that was built.  The result is a population boom, caused by the wind farm and the oil industry, and that has caused prices, like rent and even food to skyrocket.

Sure there are lots of good paying oil jobs in Kansas now, but those oil workers are paying thousands of dollars in rent, for homes that were costing only hundreds to those living in them before the oil boom.

In fact, just as in North Dakota, the Kansans living in those rental homes were actually kicked out by the property owners, so that much much higher rents could be charged to the incoming oil workers: “We’re one of the ones forced out of our home. We lived in our home 11 years and four months, we received a certified letter in the mail saying we had one month to get out.  There was no where to go.  That month was a holy hell!”-Eileen Morris, Harper County resident

Here’s what a real estate “entrepreneur”, who caters to the oil industry, said about the housing situation: “My goal was to get housing available as quickly and efficiently as possible.”-Bobbie Oliver

To give you an idea just how high rents have gone, mobile homes (aka “modular” homes) that would normally rent for several hundreds of dollars per month, are renting for as much as $2,100 USD per month!

But what about those Kansans who aren’t working for the oil industry?  Here’s what a local county official in Kansas said about that: “…people are charging higher rent prices and so these guys that have jobs that are paying $12 to $15 an hour, it’s a hardship for them.”-Mike Lanie, Economic Development Harper County

Some of the oil companies, like Shell, are actually paying holding money on homes that were forcefully vacated, in order to ensure that their oil workers have a place to live when they get there.  So far no one’s said what’s happened to those Kansans who were kicked out of the homes they were living in.

And just like North Dakota, Kansas is seeing a skyrocketing crime rate.  According to Tracy Chance, Undersheriff of Harper County, the biggest increase so far has been car accidents and public intoxication.

Isn’t the promise of fast easy money wonderful?  Welcome to the false Christian run western Whore of Babylon oil industry!  Like Peter Voser, current CEO of Shell, who will be attending this year’s Bilderberg beast conference in Virginia!  Like Edward P. Cross, current president of the Kansas Independent Oil & Gas Association and a paid lobbyist for the oil industry!  Like Tom L. Ward, current CEO of Oklahoma based SandRidge Energy, which holds horizontal drilling rights in Kansas!

Global Economic War: India & Iran to push forward with new oil deal! Iran “key” to world economy!

“Iran is an important neighbor and crucial trade partner for India, and also a major source of our energy supplies.”-S M Krishna, External Affairs Minister of India

31 May 2012, after a meeting between Iranian and Indian officials, India made it clear that Iran was India’s number one source for oil!

Indian officials are looking to Iran for other economic deals, as India considers Iran the economic gateway to Central Asia.  S M Krishna said Iran was also the economic key to the whole world!

The two countries also discussed “threats” being made against them.

Iran has invited India to attend the upcoming Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit in August.  NAM consists of countries that do not kowtow to the United States/British Empire.

Bridgestone Tires says they’ve created way to make tires without petroleum. Biomass!

31 May 2012, Japan’s Bridgestone Tires, and a food company call Ajinomoto, have worked together to create rubber without the use of oil or rubber trees.

The process uses fermented starches, and other sugars, from food waste, or biomass.  The process is able to extract a necessary ingredient in making rubber; isoprene.

If everything works out Bridgestone hopes to mass produce the fermented tires by 2020.

World War 3: U.S. occupation of Afghanistan; May 28-30. 5 more U.S./NATO troops killed. Several Dozens of Afghans killed. Proof the War on Drugs is a joke!

30 May 2012: International Security Assistance Force reports two U.S./NATO personnel killed by Mujahideen attacks, and explosions in southern Afghanistan.

At least 172 occupying personnel killed since the beginning of 2012.

According to local security officials in Badakhshan Province, at least eight cops were killed and two wounded after an attack by Mujahideen.  Several police officers are missing.  The attack began late on 29 May and continued into the early hours of 30 May.  Local police officials claim they killed six Mujahideen. The Mujahideen launched coordinated attacks on three police check points.

In Herat Province, Mujahideen attacked an Afghan army check point, killing one soldier and wounding four others. Officials claim they killed four Mujahideen.

In Farah Province one Afghan soldier was killed, and another wounded after an explosion.

In Nangarhar Province about eight civilians were killed.  Five people were killed after their house was attacked with grenades.  Three other people were killed when they drove over a mine.

Afghanistan’s Ministry of the Interior reports that in the past 24 hours 30 Mujahideen were killed or wounded in battles in the following provinces: Kabul, Nangarhar, Faryab, Helmand, Uruzgan, Logar, Ghazni, Paktika and Paktia.

29 May 2012: Another school was targeted with poisoning of the female students. At least 120 girls became sick. This is the third school poisoning in Takhar Province in the past two weeks.  The “Taliban” are being blamed, however, “Taliban” reps swear they’ve had nothing to do with the poisonings.  Public health officials say blood tests are not revealing what poison (if any) is being used.  “Taliban” reps say the Afghan government is behind the poisonings.

Another tribal elder was assassinated while praying in a Mosque in Ghazni Province. Also, in Ghazni city, Mujahideen attacked the eastern part of the city and wounded between three and seven people.

The United Nations reported that only 5% of the Afghan population is involved in producing more than 5,800 tons of opium, or 90% of the World’s illegal opium!  The UN also said that so far less than 2% of the opium produced is being captured and destroyed.  That’s par for the course when you study the lack of success in the 30+ years of the U.S. War on Drugs!

In Nangahar Province two potential suicide bombers were killed, and three wounded after the car they were in exploded.  Officials think there was a mechanical problem which caused one of their bombs to go off too soon.

International Security Assistance Force is claiming they killed an al-Qaeda “leader” in Kunar Province.  They said he was from Saudi Arabia, an ally of the United States.

In Baghlan Province, Afghan officials claim they killed two Mujahideen “commanders”.

28 May 2012: International Security Assistance Force said at least one U.S./NATO soldier was killed by Mujahideen attack, in southern Afghanistan.  Two other U.S./NATO personnel were killed when the helicopter they were in went down in eastern Afghanistan.

Five police officers in Baghlan Province were killed when they drove over a mine.

An Afghan government official was arrested on murder and rape charges. The former deputy chief of the Afghan Passport Department is accused by several people from Badakhshan province of raping and killing women.

In Helmand Province, at least three people were killed when they drove over a mine.  Local officials said they arrested a man suspected of planting the mine.

ISAF, Afghan Ministry of Defense, and Ministry of the Interior, report six Afghan soldiers killed, and between 21 and 38 Mujahideen killed in the past 24 hours.  The battles took place in Laghman, Paktiya, Baghlan, Kabul, Kunar, Nangarhar, Kunduz, Faryab, Kandahar, Ghazni, Khost, Helmand, Uruzgan, Maidan Wardak and Logar provinces.

International Security Assistance Force claims two “leaders” were captured in Kandahar and Paktiya provinces.

Oil & Gas Prices: Disparity in fuel prices; Eastern U.S. vs Western U.S. It’s all about supply vs demand! Western U.S. fuel supply lowest since 1999! Expect U.S. fuel prices to drop in long run!

I was upset by a Memorial Day report on one of the mainstream U.S. national TV news programs, ’cause they reported gas prices down across the country!  Wait a minute, I live in the United States and gas prices actually went up where I live!

I noted that the mainstream media report focused only on the eastern half of the United States. I checked the internet for reports concerning the western half, and sure enough fuel prices have been going up here!

In the Pacific Northwest U.S. state of Idaho gas prices average $3.64 USD, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA).  But here in eastern Idaho it’s more like $3.77 per gallon.  In Mackay (pronounced Mac-Key), Idaho, it’s $3.90.

In the U.S. state of California prices are more than $4.00 per gallon. Gas prices have not come down in the past few weeks, even though oil prices have!

What’s going on? Why have fuel prices come down in the eastern half of the U.S. and, in some cases, actually gone up in the western half?

For one, the eastern half has a glut of oil, from the fields in the U.S. state of North Dakota, and from the northern country of Canada.  However, in recent months there was a lot of predictions that fuel prices would actually go up for the eastern half of the U.S., because several major refineries were being permanently shut down.

Two of those refineries are located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.  Fears of skyrocketing fuel prices turned to joy when it was revealed, towards the end of April, that Delta Airlines and Energy Transfer Partners will buy those refineries, and keep them up and running!

Also at the end of April, it was revealed that a new refinery, also in Pennsylvania, was up and running on the Delaware River!  It’s primary source of oil is shale oil from North Dakota and Texas.  This is important because it turns out that many of the older refineries can not handle refining shale oil.

Another important fact is that finally new oil pipelines are opening up, helping to get that bottlenecked glut of oil in North Dakota, and from Canada, down to refineries along the Gulf of Mexico, and to ports in Portland, Maine.

Finally, there was a recent report that a new diesel fuel refinery will be built near Williston, North Dakota!

So what’s happening in the western half of the U.S.?

On 22 May it was reported that U.S. oil supplies were at a 21 year high. However, when you look at refined gasoline and break it down between eastern and western U.S. you get a different picture, because you’ll see that having a lot of oil does not translate into having a lot of gasoline.

The very next day, 23 May, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) released a report which stated: “PADD 5 gasoline inventories at 24.1 million barrels on May 18, about 5.1 million barrels (17 percent) below typical levels for that date, the lowest for the region since March 1999.”

The DOE explained: “Abnormally low refinery runs on the West Coast since February tightened local gasoline markets, causing both wholesale and retail gasoline prices to rise.”

The DOE blamed reduced fuel supply to the western U.S. on that fact that several refineries were shut down for maintenance.  One of those refineries, British Petroleum’s Cherry Point, in the U.S. state of Washington, should be re-starting.

The DOE also explained that the western half of the U.S. sees higher fuel prices because of a lack of pipelines: “While unplanned refinery outages generally cause retail product prices to rise, the West Coast market is especially sensitive to such shutdowns. That is because the West Coast market is relatively isolated. Given the West Coast’s lack of significant pipeline connections to other markets and relative distance from the active physical trading markets….”

According to the DOE, it takes six weeks for any change in the price per barrel of oil plus any shortage or surplus of refined fuel, to be reflected in western U.S. fuel prices at the pump, but, if there are no further interruptions in western refinery operations prices should start coming down.

World War 3: U.S. occupation of Afghanistan; May 23-27. 5 U.S./NATO deaths in 2 days. More civilian deaths. Civilians fighting back. Politicians cave to U.S. bribes. Cops stealing oil and running drugs. France will keep troops in country after all!

“Afghanistan would sign long term partnership agreement with the People’s Republic of China and the agreement will probably be inked during President Hamid Karzai’s participation at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit on June 6-7 in China.”Zalmai Rasoul, Foreign Minister of Afghanistan

China will join United States, Britain, Germany, India, Italy and Australia in long term “strategic” pacts with Afghanistan.

27 May 2012, local officials in Paktia Province are now confirming that a U.S./NATO airstrike, on the night of 26 May, has killed eight civilians, and that not a single Mujahideen was killed.

Earlier, reports said as many as 20 Mujahideen were killed by the U.S. led airstrike, but when local officials investigated all they found were the bodies of one man, his wife and their six children!

Also on 27 May 2012, Afghan Ministry of Defense says five of their soldiers were killed, and 13 wounded in battles in the following provinces: Kapisa, Kunar and Laghman.

The Ministry of the Interior claims that six Mujahideen were killed, two wounded, and nine captured in the following provinces: Kapisa, Kandahar, Maidan Wardak and Khost.

International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) says three U.S./NATO personnel were killed by Mujahideen attacks in eastern Afghanistan, on 27 May.  ISAF also confirmed that four U.S./NATO personnel were killed by explosions on 26 May.  ISAF did not give much info (SOP) other than the explosions were separate incidents.

About 169 occupying personnel have been killed since the beginning of 2012.

In Baghlan Province, five people wearing police uniforms tried to steal a truck hauling oil. They were arrested.  Owners of the oil tankers are praising local authorities because hi-jackings of tankers by people wearing police uniforms has been ongoing on Baghlan-Samangan highway.

26 May 2012, in Kabul Province two police officers were arrested and accused of helping alcohol and drug traffickers. Officials say one of the arrested cops is a high level officer.

The counter-narcotics and intoxicants court, in Kabul city, says in the past month at least 50 people have been detained.  Compare that to last year when a total of 53 people were detained.  Now realize that those 53 people included 33 cops!

Also on 26 May, officials in Ghazni Province say local civilians, and the local Mujahideen group Islamic Party of Afghanistan (Hezb-e-Islami), repelled an attack from an outsider group.

The local civilian militia, and Hezb-e-Islami, claim to have killed 12 and captured 15 of the outsider militants.  The report also says the attacks took place in at least five villages.  Other sources say the attacks took place weeks ago and are only now being reported.

The new French President, Francois Hollande, has pulled an Obama! Just weeks ago he sounded like he was getting France out of Afghanistan altogether.  Now he admits that even after the official French withdrawal there will still be 1,400 French troops in country, to help the United States with training and logistics.

On 23 May, one member of the Afghan Parliament (National Assembly of Afghanistan), Qorban-Ali Erfani, said the United States was bribing officials with money and promises of immigration to the U.S., if they would approve the midnight military pact signed by Obama and Karzai on 1 May.

On 26 May the parliament approved the pact.  But wait, there’s more!  Of the 249 members of parliament only 183 were present, and only six of them voted against it. Where were the other 66?  Unnamed sources say the 66 who were no shows were threatened because they were openly against the Obama/Karzai pact.

One Year Later: At least 900,000 TBq of Iodine and Cesium spewed into the environment by Fukushima Daiichi! Radiation samples were taken last year!

24 May 2012, Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCo) is now estimating that 900,000 terabecquerels of radioactive iodine-131 and cesium-137 have spewed from Reactor 1 and Reactor 3, from March to September, 2011!

That’s an estimate that’s as much as 80% higher than official Japanese government (Nuclear Safety Commission, and the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency) estimates!

TEPCo based its estimate on samples taken near the GE designed nuclear disaster reactors.  However, the results from air samples were only from March 12 to 31, 2011!  The water samples were from March 26 to September 30, 2011!  In other words it’s not up to date!

1 terabecquerel = 1.0 × 10+12 becquerels

Becquerel is an internationally accepted measurement for a unit of radioactivity, equal to one nuclear decay or other nuclear transformation per second.  Named after Antoine Henri Becquerel.

1 terabecquerel = 27 curies

Curie is a non-internationally accepted way to measure radiation, named after Marie and Pierre Curie.  1000 Curies of a radioisotope can produce serious health effects after only a few minutes of exposure.

World War 3: Afghan Parliament rejecting U.S. military pact. U.S. bribing Afghan politicians with promises of Green Cards.

23 May 2012, two parliamentary committees have rejected the military pact signed in a midnight meeting between Afghan President Hamid Karzai, and U.S. President Barack Obama.

One of those committees is the Judicial Committee, which ruled that the military pact violates the national interests of Afghans.  The pact must be approved by the Afghan parliament.

Qorban-Ali Erfani, a member of the National Assembly of Afghanistan (parliament), said officials from Karzai’s administration, and the United States government, are busy trying to bribe politicians into approving the Strategic Partnership Agreement.

The bribes include money and promises of paperwork allowing them to immigrate to the United States (Green Cards).

Erfani also said that U.S. statements about the Afghan police and army being ready to take over are all propaganda. He claims that in the past 11 years nothing has been done to make Afghan security forces truly self-sufficient.

World War 3: General Allen issues statement proving that U.S. will be “in Region” for long time to come

The following is ISAF commander, U.S. General John R. Allen’s 21 May 2012 statement following the NATO/Afghanistan summit in Chicago. It shows that not only will the U.S. stay in Afghanistan, but considers the whole region vital to U.S. national interest.

I am grateful for the overwhelming commitment from the international community to support Afghanistan through 2014 and beyond. I was proud to join in the NATO Summit in Chicago that sent three unmistakable messages to the world:

• To the Afghan people: we are committed to your future,
• To the Region: the international community will not abandon Afghanistan; and
• To the Taliban: you cannot wait us out.

Among the important outcomes of this event was the resounding commitment by the ISAF partner nations for the long term support of an Afghan National Security Force that is sufficient, capable, and sustainable in the post-2014 period.

This historic summit took place at a time of considerable operational progress in our shared campaign. Because of the extraordinary courage and skill of our ISAF coalition partners, and the Afghan National Security Force’s fighting men and women, this spring and summer, the insurgents have come back to find that many of their caches are empty; their former strongholds are untenable; and a good many of their foot soldiers absent or unwilling to join the fight. And, most importantly, insurgents are facing a battle-tested and increasingly capable Afghan National Security Force that is also serving as a source of pride to the Afghan people and a symbol of unity for this country.

During the last 12 months, the Afghan security forces have expanded from 276,000 to 340,000. They will reach their full surge strength ahead of the scheduled deadline in October. Additionally, Afghan forces are increasingly in the lead throughout the battle space, and the Afghans were in the lead for planning of this year’s campaign plan, Operation Naweed.

The expansion and professionalization of Afghan security forces now allow us to recover the remaining 23,000 U.S. surge troops by this fall, enable us to continue to pressure the Taliban to reintegrate and reconcile, and make possible security transition to the Afghans in accordance with our Lisbon commitments – and on time.

President Karzai’s historic announcement of Tranche 3 of the transition process is a significant milestone in our progress. The coming transition of every provincial capital and the Afghan National Security Forces providing security lead for three-quarters of the population marks the ever-increasing authority and capability of the Government of Afghanistan.

This summit, with its unambiguous commitment of long term support for the security of Afghanistan, is the clearest message yet the Taliban and the enemies of the Afghan people will not win this war. The Afghan National Security Forces, with the unwavering support and tangible commitments of the 50-nation coalition, grow stronger every day. Additionally, the Summit was a powerful signal of international support for an Afghan-led process of reconciliation; and in this process resides the greatest hope for the Taliban for the future. In the wake of this historic NATO Summit, as the Taliban see that their time grows short, they can choose to be part of the prosperous future of Afghanistan, but they can never prevail through violence and intimidation.

This campaign has been long, it has been difficult, and it has been costly. But I believe that ISAF’s campaign is on track. I see it every day – tangible evidence of progress. We are making a difference. We are fulfilling the Lisbon Roadmap of Transition, and the international community is standing with the noble Afghan people and Afghanistan now and into the Decade of Transformation.
