Egypt recognizes Rebels as new government of Libya, admits they supported rebels from the beginning

Egypt’s Foreign Minister Mohammed Kamel Amr, has announced that Cairo recognizes the Libyan Transitional National Council (rebels) as a legitimate representative of Libya.

Not only does Egypt recognize the rebels as the government of Libya, but Egyptian officials have revealed that they have been supporting them from the beginning.

Proof of this is that as many as 38 Egyptians had been arrested by Gaddafi’s forces, after they were caught helping the rebels.

One Libyan rebel official confirmed that the Libyan rebellion is connected to the regime change in Egypt: “We thank Egypt that has helped make this revolution succeed, because the Mubarak regime’s downfall helped Gaddafi’s downfall, for they are allies.”-Abdul Mon’em al-Houni

Libyan embassy in Japan raises Rebel flag, Rebel flag clue that monarchy could return to Libya

The Libyan embassy in Japan has replaced the all green flag with the flag of the rebels.  Japanese media say the embassy staff reported that the government of Libya had changed.

The flag of the rebels is also the old flag of the Kingdom of Libya, which lasted from 1951-969.  The Kingdom of Libya fell because the king was so greedy that most of the oil wealth went to him (as well as European countries) while many Libyan’s suffered.  Some accounts show that Libyan’s suffered more under the king, than under Gaddafi.

During the time of the Kingdom, the United Kingdom was the main developer and controller of Libya’s oil.  The United Kingdom is currently one of the NATO members bombing the crap out of Libya.

The United States also maintained a huge air base, called Wheeler Air Base, in the Kingdom of Libya.

The rebel’s use of the flag of the old Kingdom of Libya suggests that this is just an attempt by Europe and the United States to regain control in North Africa.  After all, even the U.S. Marine Corps hymn mentions attacking Tripoli in the past.

Emergency Press Conference in Libya, NATO and rebel forces killed 1,300 people in past 11 hours

The Libyan government holding emergency press conference.  They say that Tripoli has been under constant attack by rebel and NATO forces for the past 11 straight hours.

They say the hospitals are full of dead and dying.  At least 1,300 residents of Tripoli are dead, another 5,000 are wounded.  Libyan officials say that is far more than what they have in military forces in Tripoli, and it is proof that U.S. led NATO does not care about civilians.

They say their hospitals are now overwhelmed, even the International Red Cross is unable to handle the situation.

The Libyan government warns that if the rebels win then Libya will be turned into another Afghanistan.  The Libyan rebels are made up of tribalists and al-Qaeda, the very thing the United States is fighting in Afghanistan (at least that’s what U.S. officials claim as the reason for being in Afghanistan).

End near in Libya? Gaddaffi Sons captured, emabassy in Brazil lowers Libyan flag

Libyan western supported rebels claim they’ve captured two of Muammar Muhammad al-Gaddafi’s sons.  This after days of ground fighting in Tripoli.

There were also rumors that Tunisia offered Gaddafi asylum.  Gaddafi says he will stay in Tripoli “until the end.”

In Brazil, the Libyan embassy lowered the Libyan flag, and raised the flag of the Libyan rebels.

Iran, Libya & Zimbabwe slam United Kingdom, demand human rights investigation, says Cameron is no longer a legitimate ruler

“Cameron and his government have lost all legitimacy. These demonstrations show that the British people reject this government which is trying to impose itself through force.”-Khaled Kaaim, Libyan Deputy Foreign Minister

In a tit-for-tat statement Libyan officials are calling for British Prime Minister to step down, because the anti-government protests, which have recently turned into all out riots after a police shooting (and the little mentioned police beating of a 16 year old girl), prove that the current British government is oppressive.  Libya is even demanding that the United Nations take action against the U.K.

Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe said, in a round about way, that Britain needs to shut up and get off his back, when it comes to human rights violations: “Britain I understand is on fire, London especially and we hope they can extinguish their fire, pay attention to their internal problem and to that fire which is now blazing all over and leave us alone.”

Iran has already offered to send peacekeeping troops to the U.K., and human rights investigators as well.  One Iranian cleric said Britain is simply reaping what it’s sowed over the centuries: “The colonialists schemed and spent money to create chaos in countries and today the result of their plotting is the events they have been stricken with.”-Hojjatoleslam Kazem Seddiqi

A senior Iranian politician warned the United Nations that if it didn’t take action against Britain, as it has against Libya and Syria, then it would loose all legitimacy: “If the Security Council does not put David Cameron’s trial as a war criminal on its agenda and does not meet this demand of the British nation, [other] nations’ view of this council will definitely change more than ever before.”-Mohammad-Karim Abedi, Deputy Chairman of Iran’s Majlis (parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Committee

French warmongers: Lower Parliament approves continuing war against Libya

July 12, the lower house of the French Parliament approved an extension to the war against Libya.  The vote was 482 in favor, only 27 against.

The French Senate will vote next.  The war with Libya is costing French taxpayers 1 million Euros per day.

It is a sign of desperation when the leaders of a government throw millions, if not billions in taxpayer money at a war that seems to have no end.  The leaders must think that controlling Libya’s oil is the only option for saving their own economy.

“If NATO loses, the consequences are enormous. There are enormous, trillion dollar  financial consequences for those NATO member countries that are seen as aggressors and invaders here.”-Franklin Lamb, Americans Concerned for Middle East Peace

No more open borders in Europe, no thanks to the U.S. & European wars in the Middle East & North Africa

Denmark announced that starting July 5, no more open borders.  They blame drug trafficking and illegal immigrants.

Since the U.S. led invasion of Afghanistan drug trafficking has skyrocketed across Central Asia and into Europe.  Many of the drugs come from U.S. occupied Afghanistan.

The NATO attacks on Libya have greatly increased what European governments are calling illegal immigration (most of whom are actually war refugees, no thanks to the European/U.S./NATO war on Libya).

Denmark is not the first EU member to close its borders.  France and Italy closed their borders with each other, for the same reasons as Denmark.  In the case of France and Italy, French officials discovered that Italy was giving refugees (I mean illegal immigrants), mainly from Tunis and Libya, EU visas then putting them on trains bound for France.

Other EU members are complaining about the violation of the European Union’s “open borders” policy, but Denmark claims their border closure will not affect commerce.

France admits to violating UN resolutions, arming rebels in Libya

French military spokesman, Colonel Thierry Burkhard, admits France is violating the UN resolutions by arming Libyan rebels.  He says they’ve been airdropping weapons to the rebels.

In 2009 Nicolas Sarkozy made France a member of the U.S. led North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).  Four decades ago Charles de Gaulle pulled France out of NATO, citing sovereignty issues.

UN resolution 1973 allows NATO “to take all necessary measures, notwithstanding paragraph 9 of resolution 1970 (2011), to protect civilians and civilian-populated areas under threat of attack in the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya.” Paragraph 9 of UN resolution 1970 imposed an arms embargo on the Libya.  Therefore France has violated both UN resolutions.

There are also reports that France supplied rebels with tanks.

Obama’s order to release U.S. oil reserves is BS, 27 other countries to release oil reserves is also BS, blame war on Libya

All indicators are that global demand for oil is going down, despite the oil “experts” continuing to say it’s going up.  The fact that oil and gas prices are going down is proof of the decrease in demand.  One study says oil should be at $70.00, based on actual consumer demand.

Yet President Barack Obama, and 27 other members of the International Energy Agency, are ordering the release of their respective strategic oil reserves.

The official reason the Obama administration gives, is to ease the supply problems with oil from Libya.  First off, the U.S. is a minor user of oil from Libya, secondly the U.S. is partly to blame for the oil supply problems in Libya!

The U.S. uses about 1% of oil produced in Libya, according to a USA Today report.  The U.S. has been supporting rebels who destroyed Chinese run oil fields in Libya, according to the Chinese government.

As I’m writing this U.S. crude oil prices are at $91.00 per barrel.  Why release U.S. oil reserves now, and not back when it was more than $100.00 per barrel?

Here something interesting; the U.S. Department of Energy reports that the strategic oil reserves are at record highs, 727 million barrels to be exact.  Why would that be? Because demand is down?

The IEA (not to be confused with the United Nations IAEA) is made up of 28 oil consuming countries, including the United States.  The decision of the IEA to release 60 million barrels of oil reserves, is to benefit the countries that get most of their oil from Libya, ie Europe.  One report showed that almost all of Italy’s oil comes from Libya.

In other words, Obama’s decision to release U.S. strategic oil reserves is for the benefit of the Europeans, not the United States!

It is also totally because of the U.S. supported European war on Libya, the aggressors (U.S. and Europe) brought it upon themselves.
