Exceptional Failed State: U.S. job losses & store closings 22 October 2013. Don’t blame the internet for crashing brick & mortar sales! More company officials say ‘No way has economy recovered’!

Incomplete list of announced closings and layoffs:

Arizona: The rip off internet based University of Phoenix will layoff an undisclosed number of employees.  Unnamed employees broke the news to local Arizona media.  The company is facing declining enrollment and is under investigation for the way it recruits online students. University of Phoenix laid off 1-thousand employees back in 2012!  In Flagstaff, Obama Care taxes forcing a medical device maker to layoff 20 employees.  Officials with Machine Solutions also blamed an unexpected crash in medical device sales.

California: More proof you can’t blame the internet for brick & mortar store loses; the second biggest internet network products maker in the U.S., Jupiter Networks, laid off 280 people! Company officials blame “inconsistent demand” for their IT products. In San Francisco, cell phone app maker TinyCo laid off 27 people. Company officials said they are forced to consolidate operations.  In Hollywood, NBCUniversal’s Focus Features is letting an undisclosed number of employees go.  It has something to due with the new Focus Features boss, Peter Schlessel.

Connecticut: Stamford based Too Big to Jail SAC Capital fired at least two managers and shutdown their London, United Kingdom, office.  The investment company has been accused of illegal insider trading.

Maryland: Hunt Valley based TV station operator, Sinclair Broadcast Group, laid off at least 30 news/production department people in the states of Washington and Oregon.  The news was leaked by a company insider, who gave no reason for the layoffs.  It also included employees who maintained the internet websites for the affected ABC affiliated TV stations.

Minnesota: In Saint Paul, after 103 years Jerabek’s New Bohemian Bakery shutdown.  The owners blamed the bad economy and health issues: “Numerous physical, financial and emotional challenges have made us unable to properly lead and run the business.”-Facebook posting

Montana: In Billings, Bones Brewing Company shutdown.  At least 12 jobs lost.  Manager Tom Williams blamed the bad economy saying “We were just losing too much money…”

Nevada: In Gardnerville, Scolari’s Food & Drug shutdown its pharmacy: “It was an economic decision we had to make based on a competitive market…”-Jan Gilbert, marketing director

New York: Insurance giant, Travelers, said it would layoff 159 employees in January 2014!  Back in July 2013 they announced 450 layoffs across the country.  Company officials say they expect to lose $140-million by 2015, but gave no details!  The Latham Circle Mall JCPenney to shutdown in January 2014. In Rockland, Laraia’s Cheese Shop shutdown due to crashing sales, five jobs lost.   In Sea Cliff, Pirate Brands/Robert’s American Gourmet Food shutdown, 55 jobs lost.

Oregon: Electronic testing equipment maker, Tektronix, laying off undisclosed number of employees.  Company officials say they must “reorganize”.  In Milwaukie, power equipment maker Blount International laid off 200 employees! Factories are being consolidated. Company officials blame the bad economy: “….we continued to be challenged by difficult economic conditions, as all of our major markets were soft compared to last year.”-Josh Collinss, CEO

Pennsylvania: 92 years old Furmano Foods laid off 18 employees.  Company officials are pissed at the claims by government leaders, and the government ass kissing news media, that the economy has recovered: “The slow growth in our industry has extended our recovery from the floods of 2011. We were hopeful that we could withstand the current economic environment and overcome the challenges the flood created by making cuts to our expenditures without affecting our team. Unfortunately continued slower growth requires further corrective actions.”-company statement

Virginia: In Clarendon, FatShorty’s restaurant shutdown.  The owner had to sell the property.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) doesn’t count the hundreds of layoffs involving less than 50 people each, in its mass layoff reports. It also doesn’t count all the little ‘mom & pop’ businesses that shut down.

“Our ideals and principles, as well as our national security……..That’s what makes America different. That’s what makes us exceptional.”-Barack Obama, 10 September 2013

World War 3, Asian Front-Afghanistan, 23-26 January 2014: Tax dollars used for pro-Obama propaganda! Once again, Karzai tells the U.S. to get out! U.S. officer threatens more attacks! Your sick leaders behind mass child sacrifice!

Faryab Province: In Qaisar District, six Afghan National Police killed and four wounded when Mujahideen attacked their outpost.

Ghazni Province:  In Gilan District, an Israeli style home invasion (possibly by Obama’s Presidential Guards) resulted in a shopkeeper being beaten to death in front of his family!  Locals protested the action by marching through the streets carrying the murdered shopkeepers body.

Helmand Province: In Lashkargah City, a interpreter/reporter for The New York Times was assassinated.  He was kidnapped in the morning and found dead later that day.  His family says he had just quit his job with The New York Times because of increasing threats against his life.  In Nawzad District, a U.S.-NATO-ISAF helicopter made an emergency landing.  Mujahideen claim they shot it down, they say the Apache ‘copter was supporting Afghan government forces during a day long battle.  In newly created Nomish District, six people killed, 13 wounded, when the bus they were riding in ran over a landmine.  In Marjah District, a night time Israeli style home invasion resulted in one person being kidnapped.

Kabul Province: In Kabul City, a Defense Ministry bus was blown up.  Two Afghan National Army troops killed, as well as two civilians.  Nine people wounded.  The city was hit by two days of suicide bombings.  At least four people killed, 24 wounded.

Khost Province: In Karwan Sara area, at least two cops killed by remote detonated bomb.

Kunduz Province: In Ali Abad District, an Israeli style night time home invasion resulted in three people being kidnapped. Are these Israeli style raids being carried out by the Obama regime’s recently created (and U.S. funded) Presidential Guards?

Laghman Province: In Alingar District, five teenagers killed while playing cricket.  Police blame Mujahideen, but have no evidence.  The shooters were on a motorcycle.  Mujahideen swear they had nothing to do with the drive by shootings.  Also, in a village in the same district, people said a grenade was thrown from a U.S./ANA military convoy as it passed through their village.  Three children were killed.

Logar Province: In Baraki Barak District, villagers say raiders that looked like U.S. personnel (Presidential Guards?) conducted an Israeli style home invasion, kidnapping two people.

Nangarhar Province: In Achin District, a bus ran over a landmine. One person killed, six wounded.

Parwan Province: In Bagram District, Mujahideen claim they shot down a recon UAV (drone).

Takhar Province: In Cha’ab District, two people shot dead as they were leaving a sports facility.

Another study shows a disproportionate and seemingly unexplained rise in child starvation rates.  The UN World Food Programme says that more than half (55%) of Afghan children are slowly starving to death!!!  This despite the claim by occupying powers that they are spending billions of their taxpayers’ money on helping Afghanistan!

President Hamid Karzai again stressed that the U.S. is not welcome in Afghanistan, and if the Obama regime wants him to sign a ‘security’ deal then Afghanistan must have a guarantee from Obama that the deal will end “positively” for Afghanistan.

The Afghan Attorney General’s office says they have evidence that U.S. tax dollars are being used to pay news media to write pro-Obama regime ‘security’ deal articles and advertisements (propaganda).  The bribes are coming through the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and a supposedly non-governmental organization known as The Asia Foundation.

In Germany, strict anti-gun laws didn’t stop an Afghan man from killing two people with a gun and a knife.  He shot one man dead, and then stabbed another man to death.  Police think it’s a vengeance killing, because the Afghan man’s brother was stabbed to death in 2007, while in Germany.

U.S. Army Lieutenant General Mark Milley is threatening more attacks if Karzai does not sign the Obama regime’s ‘security’ deal!   Specifically he said more high profile and spectacular attacks will take place within the next few months.

The president of the Czech Republic paid a visit to President Hamid Karzai.  News reports say they discussed their own security deal and even the possibility of Afghans going to university in Czech Republic.

The Afghan parliament has banned smoking in public places.

The Army National Guard’s 144th Military Police Company, from the U.S. state of Michigan, returned home from Afghanistan.

World War 3, West Asian Front: Israel threatens full invasion of Gaza! Kerry calls Israeli security an illusion! Zionists call Obama Anti-semitic!

02 February 2014 (03:31 UTC-07 Tango)/01 Rabi ‘ath-Thani 1435/13 Bahman 1392/03 Bing-Yin (1st month) 4712

Israeli Intelligence Minister, Yuval Steinitz, announced plans to invade Gaza.  He said it was Israel’s intention to eliminate Hamas and install Israel’s puppet  Palestinian Authority as the new governors of Gaza!

Israeli news media are reporting that U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, has warned zionist leaders that Israel’s security will become an illusion if they don’t sign a peace deal with Palestine!  Zionist leaders are outraged and are now calling the Obama regime anti-semitic.

This comes as Israel destroyed 36 Palestinian homes in the Jordan Valley.  The United Nations condemned Israel, and many European Union businesses and individuals are expanding their own personal sanctions against Israeli businesses.

In 2013 an estimated 1-thousand Palestinians had their homes seized by Israel on the grounds that the Palestinians did not have Israeli issued documents proving the homes were theirs!

ObamaCare layoffs 2013, part 6: U.S. healthcare jobs recession proof? That’s a lie, here’s more evidence!

02 February 2014 (02:59 UTC-07 Tango)/01 Rabi ‘ath-Thani 1435/13 Bahman 1392/03 Bing-Yin (1st month) 4712

According to Challenger, Gray & Christmas career consultant company, 2013 saw more health care workers lose their jobs than in 2012.

There were 52638 publicly announced health care layoffs in 2013, 45% more than in 2012!

“Our ideals and principles, as well as our national security……..That’s what makes America different. That’s what makes us exceptional.”-Barack Obama, 10 September 2013

Obama Care Layoffs 2013, part 5!

ObamaCare Layoffs 2013, part 4!

ObamaCare Layoffs 2013, part 3!

ObamaCare layoffs 2013, part 2!

 ObamaCare layoffs 2013, part 1:

Exceptional Failed State: U.S. job losses & store closings 20-21 October 2013. No more Coors? More big bank layoffs! High rents killing businesses!

Incomplete list of announced closings and layoffs:

The second largest beer brewer in the United States, MillerCoors, laid off 360 people across the country!

Alabama: In Homewood, Too Big to Jail Wells Fargo laid off 374 employees!

California: Too Big to Jail Wells Fargo laid off 465 people across the Golden State!  In Riverbank, Silgan Containers laid off 63 employees.

Connecticut: In Stonington, Skipper’s Dock restaurant shutdown.  The property owner kicked the restaurant owner out because the property owner found somebody willing to pay higher rent.

Florida: In Orlando, Sherman-Williams owned paint store Color Wheel shutdown. 36 jobs lost.

Iowa: Farm equipment maker, John Deere, laid off 100 employees at their Ankeny factory!  The prior month they laid off 40 employees.

Kansas: In Newton, non-profit gift shop Ten Thousand Villages shutdown after 30 years in business. The owner blames the bad economy.

Maryland: Tax sucker U.S. DoE nuclear contractor, United States Enrichment Corporation, laid off 99 employees.  This is USEC’s second round of layoffs.

Montana: In Missoula, Community Medical Center eliminated 20 jobs. Hospital officials blamed Obama Care, calling it a “national” issue.

New Hampshire: Cooking Matters gourmet restaurant shutdown. The owner of the ten years old eatery blames the bad economy.

North Carolina: In Lexington, Henry James Family Dining shutdown.

Ohio: In Bowling Green, Dave’s Cosmic Subs shutdown.   Local news reports say it is the 15th store to close in the area.

South Carolina: In Charleston, Big John’s Tavern shutdown without warning.  Employees were angry.

Tennessee: In Memphis, long time Ike’s Optical shutdown.  Local news reports say no reason was given.

Texas: In DeSoto, Westlake Ace Hardware shutdown.  Company officials say the store’s revenue was not enough to justify the new rent demanded by the property owner.

Wisconsin: In Madison, iconic Savidusky’s Furquarters shutdown despite growing business.  The owners say they want to retire, and their children do not want to take over the business.  In Milwaukee, 80 years old Stein’s Jewelers shutdown.  The jewelery store actually went bust in March, due to being $2.2-million USD in debt!

Global Food Crisis: Food prices to skyrocket as Mega Drought hits western U.S. Redux of 1920-30s Dust Bowl Drought?

02 February 2014 (20:00 UTC-07 Tango 01 February)/01 Rabi ‘ath-Thani 1435/13 Bahman 1392/03 Bing-Yin (1st month) 4712

“If groundwater was your only supply, you would potentially have no income this year.”-Tim Luke, Idaho Department of Water Resources

“This is the first time in the 54 year history of the State Water Project that projected water supplies for both urban and agricultural uses have been reduced to zero.”-Mark Cowin, California Department of Water Resources

California: For the first time in the Golden State’s history the State Water Project could cut off water to cities.  Farmers in the Sacramento and San Joaquin river basins are being told not to expect any water this year.  Farmers under the federally controlled Central Valley Project are expecting to be cut off from water as well.  California residents must reduce water usage by at least 20%.  17 communities in central California are facing zero water supply.  About 75% of water usage in California is by the agriculture industry.  Citrus growers say they could lose their 30 years old orchards, meaning it would be years before California could supply citrus fruits to market!

California is the number one state in terms of cash farm receipts, accounting for 15% of the entire United States agricultural industry.  The Golden State also accounts for half of all fruit, nut and vegetable production in the U.S.!

Idaho: Climatologists at the University of Idaho say the Gem State hasn’t been this dry since the 1920-30s drought that created the Dust Bowl in the Plain States. Blaine County has been declared by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to be in extreme drought.  Irrigation farmers from southern to eastern Idaho have been told by the Department of Water Resources to expect no water during summer.  It’s blamed on the fact that fish hatcheries are running low on water, and state officials have decided that fish hatcheries come before farmers who bought water rights to the Eastern Snake Plain Aquifer after 1974.  Southwestern Idaho is under extreme drought conditions.  The summer water cut off could also apply to cities across Idaho.

The top agriculture products from Idaho are dairy, cattle, potatoes, wheat, and hay.

Montana: Local news reports revealed that evil Carlyle Group has rejected the city of Missoula’s offer to buy Carlyle owned Mountain Water Company, for $50-million USD.  The people of Montana will seek legal action to kick out the evil for profit Carlyle Group.  Mountain Water Company is the only privately held water supplier in Montana.

Nevada: About half the state under extreme drought conditions.

Oregon: Officials in the Beaver State are hoping a wetter than normal spring will make up for the dryer than normal winter.  75% of the state is under severe drought. Last year only 4.8% of the state was under sever drought conditions.

Washington:  Under moderate drought conditions.

More Economic Decline: Idaho Christian Republican rips off taxpayers then gives flippant explanation!

02 February 2014 (18:56 UTC-07 Tango 01 February)/01 Rabi ‘ath-Thani 1435/13 Bahman 1392/03 Bing-Yin (1st month) 4712

“We stand behind my report and my auditors’ conclusions.”-April Renfro, Certified Public Accountant for Idaho’s Legislative Audits Division

The latest audit of the Idaho State Treasurer’s Office revealed widespread abuse of state taxpayer funds.  The Office has been headed by Republican Christian Ron Crane since 1998!

Legislative auditors discovered that Crane oversaw the loss of $10.6-million USD in bad investments of taxpayer money! Auditors expect the loss to climb to $27-million!  The long overdue investigation is late to the game, because such claims of huge loses came as early as 2008!

The investigation says Crane ignored state laws meant to reduce financial risks!  Crane is currently playing around with $2.9-billion in state funds!

Of course Crane denies everything, and even questioned the state auditors’ competency saying they “…second guess our decision by using ‘hindsight’…”

And this guy keeps getting re-elected!  Like George Carlin said, “You voted them in. You caused the problem.”

More Economic Decline: Red State Idaho ripped off by Blue Blood Washington DC? Or is it that Red State politicians got caught cheating? Idaho schools shorted by $7-million & growing!

01 February 2014 (16:44 UTC-07 Tango)/30 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/12 Bahman 1392/02 Bing-Yin (1st month) 4712

“All contracts made in violation of these statutes are void and any money advanced by the state, must be repaid.”-Justice Jim Jones, Idaho Supreme Court

Old mister poopy diaper pants supposedly for improving education, Barack Obama, is once again living up to his lying liar reputation!  Or is it the lying liar Republican officials in Idaho?

The Idaho legislature has just been informed that the Obama regime’s FCC (Federal Communication Commission) has withheld $7-million in tax dollars from Idaho’s high speed internet system for the Gem State’s High Schools!

It took Idaho’s Department of Administration’s Teresa Luna (a Mormon) this long to tell ‘elected’ officials about the missing funding!

Luna has known that the primary contractors, CenturyLink and Education Networks of America have not been paid, by the Obama regime, since March 2013!  Teresa Luna just happens to be the sister of Tom Luna (a Mormon), former George W. Bush regime official and Idaho’s current State Department of Education boss!

Oh but wait, there’s more to this story:  Turns out that Syringa Networks is suing the Gem State on the grounds the CenturyLink contract for the Idaho Education Network is illegal!  The case has been stuck in the Idaho Supreme Court since last year, and the Obama regime’s FCC says they are not going to pay their share of the funding until the case is settled! (it’s expected that Idaho schools will lose another $7-million during the 2014-15 school year)

So maybe this is actually another case of corrupt Idaho ‘elected’ officials screwing things up by playing favoritism and awarding contracts under the table?  It wouldn’t be the first time.

By the way, Teresa Luna was appointed to her position by corrupt governor Butch Otter in 2011, to replace the guy that suspiciously awarded the contract to CenturyLink.   Tom Luna miraculously won elections after the fact in 2007 (and suddenly Tom Luna has announced he won’t run for re-election!).  I could’ve sworn that Tom Luna was initially appointed to the position by Otter, but everything on the internet says he was ‘elected’.  Like George Carlin said, “You voted them in. You caused the problem.”

More Economic Decline: Idaho bank becomes 3rd to fail in 2014!

01 February 2014 (16:25 UTC-07 Tango)/30 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/12 Bahman 1392/02 Bing-Yin (1st month) 4712

Syringa Bank of Idaho has become the 3rd U.S. bank to officially fail in 2014! On 31 January 2014, the bank was seized by the by the Idaho Department of Finance and turned over to the FDIC.

No explanation was given as to why the bank failed.  Also, no warning of bank closures are legally required.

The FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) took the Gem State’s Syringa Bank assets and gave them to a California bank, Sunwest Bank.  FDIC officials say Syringa’s failure will cost them $4.5-million USD!   The FDIC is also warning that more banks will fail, saying by 2016 that $10-billion could be spent on failed banks!

DuPage National Bank, in Illinois, was the first bank to fail in 2014.  The Bank of Union, in Oklahoma, was the second.

In 2013, 24 U.S. banks failed and were shut down.

Influenza: H1N1 kills woman in three days. More prison deaths! Caused by vitamin D deficiency? H1N1 hits Thailand! H1N1 targeting diabetics?

01 February 2014 (03:12 UTC-07 Tango)/30 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/12 Bahman 1392/02 Bing-Yin (1st month) 4712

Researchers say they are closer to identifying the specific protein that allows influenza to maintain more than one ‘shape’ at the same time and to rapidly evolve. They are suspecting “specific residues in matrix protein 1”.

Claims that not enough people in the United States are not getting the flu shot are bogus, because there is no official tracking of people who go to for-profit pharmacies or clinics to get vaccinated! Adults in the United States are not issued with vaccination record books.

When you read the following, note that most flu cases are in warmer regions, not in colder regions.  More proof that influenza is not a cold weather bug.

Canada: Is there a influenza news blackout? Not much flu news is coming out of the Great White North ever since shortages of vaccines were reported.

European Union: The ECDC reports that 32% of samples from 27 member countries have tested positive for influenza. Scotland, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Bulgaria reporting that H1N1 is the dominate version.  The ECDC is also warning of outbreaks in European controlled areas of the Caribbean.  An outbreak on Saint Martin is “expanding”.  There’s an outbreak on Dominica.

Mexico:  Ministry of Health officials say the number of H1N1 deaths have hit 195, and have confirmed 1965 infections! That’s a big jump from the week prior. But officials are not willing to call it an epidemic, yet, they say it depends on what happens in the next five weeks.

Thailand: A Thai soldier has died from H1N1 (swine flu). Thai health officials are criticizing news media for falsely reporting that he died from a bird flu. At least one other Thailander is confirmed sick with H1N1.

United Kingdom: Doctor Robert Edgar Hope-Simpson believes there is a connection between people who get sick with influenza and a lack of vitamin D.  It’s based on the idea that the northern hemisphere gets less sunlight during the flu season.  However, the standard dose of 400 IU of vitamin D does not prevent wintertime immunity deficiencies, so more might be needed.  Hope-Simpson points out that people who live in the far north have a heavy fish diet, meaning they eat a lot of vitamin D which could explain lower flu cases.  He also says people with darker skin are more susceptible to getting sick because they have naturally lower levels of vitamin D.

Alaska, U.S.A.: The Alaska Department of Health announced the third H1N1 death for the Last Frontier state. The 49 years old man did not get sick in Alaska, rather he got sick while visiting his wife and kids in much warmer Arizona!  His mother found him dead in his bathroom in his Alaska home.

Arizona, U.S.A.: Yuma County (one of the warmest, actually hottest places in the U.S.) reports a child has died from H1N1.  The have confirmed 72 cases of flu in the sparsely populated county.

California,U.S.A.: On 31 January 2014, state health officials reported 147 deaths involving people under the age of 65!  Compared to the same time last flu season there were only 14 deaths involving people under the age of 65!  In Sacramento, a local TV saleswoman described as healthy by co-workers, was killed within three days by H1N1.  Co-workers say she’d actually been “feeling” sick for about two weeks, then went into the hospital and three days later was dead.   San Louis Obispo County Jail reports their first H1N1 death.  It’s also the first H1N1 death for the entire county.  The 35 years old prisoner’s death was officially the result of “…respiratory failure due to septic shock as a consequence of influenza A and staphylococcus.”  Also, in the same county the Ocean View Elementary School reports a “serious” case of H1N1, but refused to give anymore details. In San Diego, a city councilman reported that his “relatively healthy” brother died from H1N1.  The councilman’s brother lived in Pennsylvania.  San Diego County health officials reported eight new deaths in the past week, for a total of 20 so far. Santa Clara County reports two more deaths.

Idaho, U.S.A.: Southwest District Health offering reduced price flu shots for only $12 USD, on 04 February. (that’s right all you people in other countries who get ‘free’ flu shots, we have to pay for them up front). Southeastern Idaho Public Health reports increasing cases of influenza.

Indiana, U.S.A.: 30 deaths so far.

Kansas, U.S.A.: Another flu related death, this time in Sedgwick County.  Reports say a man got sick and died just two days later.  Doctor Maggie Hagen said this season’s influenza is hitting people who “normally” don’t get sick, adding “That means that influenza season will not end soon……..take precautions…”

Louisiana, U.S.A.: So far total influenza deaths have hit 49, since October 2013.

Michigan, U.S.A.: A city of Riverview employee survived a H1N1 infection that gave him a broken foot!  The man credits getting a flu shot for saving his life, but blames H1N1 for the broken foot.  He says he was so sick that when he got out of bed he collapsed, falling on his foot wrong and breaking it! Also, a retired reporter died from H1N1. He was going to be flown to a hospital but his oxygen levels crashed preventing the medevac.

New Mexico, U.S.A.: Department of Health reports 5th person to be killed by H1N1.

North Carolina, U.S.A.: State officials report 11 deaths last week!

Ohio, U.S.A.: A Phillipsburg firefighter died from H1N1. He had to be put into a coma, and for awhile it looked like he was recovering.

Oklahoma, U.S.A.: Five new deaths for a total of 25.  800 hospitalizations.

Oregon, U.S.A.: Health Authority FluBites claims the number of flu cases are going down.

South Carolina, U.S.A.: Eight new flu deaths for a total of 49. 25-thousand cases, more than 13-hundred hospitalizations!

Texas, U.S.A.: In Arlington, a woman made an unexpected recovery just one day before doctors expected her to die: “Doctors said a day later it would’ve been too late, because then I would have turned septic.”-Julie Shelley

The day before Xmas, Shelley was diagnosed with pneumonia and bronchitis, and hospitalized.  Turned out those conditions were caused by H1N1.  Hidalgo County Health Department reports 79 cases of H1N1, and 15 deaths.  County health officials say they are seeing a trend of people with diabetes being hit hardest by H1N1.  Denton County Health Department a 6th flu death.  Dallas County Health and Human Services reports two more flu deaths, and a third possible flu death.  Tarrant County reports its 8th flu death.

Washington DC, U.S.A.: City officials explained that trash pick up is being delayed because many garbage collectors are out sick with flu.
