Cougar with jaw & teeth growing out of its forehead killed in Idaho!

A young mutant Mountain Lion was killed near Weston, Idaho.  It has a jawbone with fully developed teeth growing out of its forehead.  The Idaho Department of Fish and Game made the pics available to the public.

The hunter who shot the cougar says he will have it stuffed.  Fish and Game biologist Zach Lockyer said “We may never know why those teeth are there.” but postulated that it could be a birth defect, a tumor called teratoma, or an unusual injury that healed wrong.

Fluoride Wars: Studies show your pets are being poisoned by fluoridated water & Grapes!

“A recently published Harvard study concluded that there was a seven-fold risk in osteosarcoma, or bone cancer, among young boys after exposure to fluoridated water………..Dogs have a significantly higher rate of osteosarcoma than humans. Researchers at Colorado State University recently conducted a large study on osteosarcoma and dogs. In their abstract they state that the osteosarcoma rate in dogs is 8 in 100,000, approximately 8 times greater than that in humans.”–Linda Joy, WA Action for Safe Water

7th Heaven Animal Trust, in the Bilderberg British empire territory of occupied northern Ireland, has a list of studies, going back to the early 1990s, concerning the effects of fluoride on animals.

Do your own research, there is a plethora of studies concerning the effects of fluoride on farm animals and pets, and they’re not good.  And if your live in the United States or Canada, you’re drinking and eating it!

“Mommy, mommy he shot the kitty!”-child witness

According to the Ohio Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals a retired cop, now a part time Humane Officer blasted five kittens in front of a mother and her children.  Citizens now want him fired on five counts of cruelty to animals.

What happened was that a woman called to have a stray cat, with five kittens, picked up to be taken to the animal shelter.  Instead, when the ‘Humane’ cop showed up he told her there was no room at the inn, then pulled his gun and began blasting away at the kittens.  (for one thing that’s was a totally inefficient use of handgun ammo, I think the guy was gettin’ off on it)

But wait, there’s more!  When local news media asked the North Ridgeville Police Department about the incident, they were told that it was standard practice to use guns for euthanasia!    (will they apply this to humans? is this what the cops in Ohio actually do to human criminal suspects when there’s no room at the jail?)

I’d like to point out that some of the citizens upset by this, are only upset because it happened in public.  They’re fine with so called ‘humane’ killing if it takes places out-o-sight out-o-mind!

Fukushima

Government Incompetence: Only 330 cats & dogs rescued from radiation zone in Japan, hundreds more still roaming lose!

The Japanese government announced that 330 cats and dogs have been rescued from the no entry zone around the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, just in the month of December.

The Environment Ministry, and government of Fukushima Prefecture, have conducted rescue operations for dogs and cats.  However, citizens groups have been doing their own rescuing since 11 March 2011.

Several pet rescue blogs talk about the difficulty of dealing with government bureaucracy, in trying to get into the no entry zone.  Some citizen pet rescuers broke the law by going into the highly contaminated area without government permission.

Pet shelters in Japan need financial support to help care for those pets that’ve been rescued. Many pets lost their human companions to the tsunamis. Most pet rescues took place in the tsunami hit areas, but relatively little has been done in the radiation danger zone.
