At least 300 people have been reported killed from Wednesday’s (April 27) tornado strikes that hit the south east.

45 people have been killed, and three nuclear reactors shut down in the state of Alabama, because of tornadoes.
Three reactors at a nuclear power plant in Huntsville, after power lines providing electricity to the plant were knocked out.
Last week a nuke plant in Virginia was also shut down by a tornado.

Tiny Switzerland is now dealing with a huge forest fire, no thanks to dry weather.
Switzerland has been dealing with a drought, now a fire that started near an auto repair shop has spread into the dry forest. About 300 firefighters are battling the blaze, people are being told to stay indoors.
A Libyan delegation is meeting with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in an effort to find a solution to the civil war, and NATO attacks.
So far Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia and Nicaragua have expressed political support for the Libyan government.
A natural gas pipeline, from Egypt to Israel, has been blown up. Witnesses say it is on fire. The same pipeline was attacked during the February uprisings.
Israel gets 40% of its natural gas from Egypt.
