On 15JUL2021, the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) on Los Angeles Air Force Base, in California, hosted officials from the United Kingdom (the lead member of the British Empire known as Commonwealth of Nations) for a presentation (called a Space Pitch Day) designed to reinforce the U.K.’s role in the United States Space Force (USSF).

On 08JUL2021, officials from the Kingdom of the Netherlands also attended a USSF meeting at the SMC. The official press info openly stated that the USSF was part of a NATO plan “…to ensure space superiority.”

In 2018, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO, which has become a global military since the end of the Cold War) announced that it would establish a new headquarters (HQ) in Norfolk, Virginia.  On 15JUL2021, NATO declared that HQ fully operational (Full Operational Capability).

Essentially, NATO felt threatened by Russia and decided to create new ‘secondary’ military HQs outside of Europe, far away from Russia.   NATO’s Atlantic and European operations can now be directed from Virginia.

In September 2020, NATO announced Initial Operational Capacity for its Norfolk HQ.  It is officially known as Joint Force Command (JFC) Norfolk, and is one of three JFCs around the world, it is the only JFC in North America.  All the JFCs report to the Supreme Allied Commander Europe in Casteau, Belgium.  In other words, a military HQ commanded by officials based in Europe is now located in the United States.

JFC Norfolk hosts military personnel from 19 ‘allied’ nations and two ‘partner’ nations.  In June 2021, NATO’s Theater Component Commanders, and leaders from national headquarters around the Atlantic Rim, converged on JFC Norfolk to discuss ways to coordinate military activities: “The security environment has changed; it is more critical than ever that we, the military leaders within NATO, continue to reinforce our commitment achieving our shared visions. Disaster 2021: U.S. military responds to German flood, knew flood was imminent

As of 19JUL2021, more than 150, and almost 1-thousand-3-hundred missing or unaccounted for after a devastating flood along the German-Belgian border.  People working on a U.S. Air Force base, and a U.S. Army garrison, responded as soon as local governments issued the call for help: “A sign of the German-American friendship that is alive in our region.”-Peter Schneider, German Federal Parliamentarian

Three months worth of rain fell in just three days, causing all the rivers to flood.  Yet personnel on a U.S. air base knew it was coming: “We knew the rain was coming so we were preparing to secure the base, which we did….  ….Our fence extends past this whole base. They are our neighbors. On 14JUL2021, U.S. personnel with 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron, on Spangdahlem Air Base, got a distress call from the Binsfeld mayor; send lots of sandbags.

About 1-thousand-8-hundred sandbags were delivered to the communities of Binsfeld and Neiderkail.  It wasn’t just the 52nd CES that responded: “People came out to support and I have no clue what squadron or flight they belonged to because they were in civilian clothes, but I just want to give a big shout out to everyone.”-Technical Sergeant Isaac Brenyah, 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron

Then on 15JUL2021, firefighters and lifeguards working on U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz were dispatched to several locations in the Baumholder area.

So far it has been only small German towns that have asked for help from the U.S. military, the state of Rheinland-Pfalz has not officially requested aid from the U.S. Air Force/Army, so far.

On 15JUL2021, the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic announced it will spend $5-billion on global construction projects on Navy/Marine Corps bases across the globe.

It is not only one of the largest construction projects ever for NAVFAC, it is considered the first ‘innovative contingency contract’: “This contract encompasses cutting-edge procedures geared to unique rapid response/emergency missions. NAVFAC will deliver on its promise to provide contingency construction support, surge to meet emerging requirements, and provide the necessary capability and flexibility to support the Navy’s mission in today’s ever changing world.”-Linda Stein, NAVFAC Contract Specialist

NAVFAC Atlantic officials also stated that the global project is necessary to provide an immediate response for civilian construction contract capability.  The Naval Construction Force contractors must also be able to perform under emergency situations.  Each individual innovative contingency contract must be completed by July 2029.

In the Pacific region, hurricanes are called typhoons.  They can happen anytime, but the United States Forces Japan (USFJ) considers official Typhoon Season to be June 1st through November 30th.

April is considered Typhoon Prep Month, they’ve even developed the Tropical Cyclone Conditions of Readiness (TCCOR) system: “When a typhoon is approaching, we stand up the virtual Emergency Operations Center with all of our island partners. We also begin to monitor the typhoon through the Defense Communications System and we make sure all military branches understand what TCCOR level we’re in.”-Master Sergeant Randy Golleher, USAF, Okinawa

U.S. Army spends your money building fire stations for Armenia!

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has been busy building new fire/emergency response buildings, not in the United States, in the European(?) country of Armenia.

U.S. taxpayers are unknowingly funding (through the United States European Command) the construction of three fire and rescue station projects in Armenia’s Shirak Province.  Officially it is because the U.S. European Command is expecting an increase in major natural disasters.  However, it was admitted that the fire station in Gyumri, considered the busiest in Armenia, was in desperate need of replacement due to neglect by the local and national governments.  U.S. taxpayers are replacing the old station in Gyumri with two new state-of-the-art stations by the end of 2021.

A third emergency response station will be completed in 2022, in the small city of Ashotsk.

It should be noted that Armenia is geographically on the Western edge of the Asian continent, yet U.S./NATO considers Armenia to be ‘geo-politically’ European, hence why U.S. European Command has jurisdiction.

In May, the U.S. Marine Corps conducted a record 18 vehicle convoy, approximately 5-thousand miles from North Carolina to California, and then back to North Carolina.

The four weeks long drive tested the ability to control a large movement of trucks using High Frequency (HF) beyond line-of-sight highly secure radio communications. HF radios are old tech, but turns out they might provide more radio security now that most ‘enemies’ are using the latest satellite communications and other radio technologies.  Also, it seems HF can handle more data.

The U.S. Air Force’s (USAF) 12th Air Force helped the USA conduct disaster response Resolute Sentinel-21, by providing medical personnel to treat 2-thousand-469 Salvadorans during a two weeks period.

USA veterinarians also treated hundreds of farm animals: “We provided anthrax vaccine to the cattle, which is a disease of human and animal health concern. We also provided pasteurella and blackleg, which are cattle diseases of economic concern. The USAF’s 75th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron supported Horn of Africa disaster relief operations, while based on Manda Bay.

HONDURAS: U.S. Southern Command’s Task Force Bravo conducted a rapid response to a natural disaster exercise on Soto Cano Air Base.  The training was meant to increase co-operation between helicopter rescue units of the U.S., Guatemalan, Honduran and Salvadoran militaries.

National Guard units from several states (Alaska, California, Connecticut, Colorado, Idaho, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Washington and Wisconsin) conducted a massive disaster response exercise between 17th and 20th of May.  At least 250 people took part in what was called Exercise ORCA 2021:

Utah Army National Guard’s Camp Williams was the site of the U.S. Army Reserve’s Exercise Vibrant Response 21.  The training was meant to test the ability of headquarters (administration) units to respond to natural disasters.
