Mujahideen groups have vowed vengeance for the latest U.S. shootings (guards shooting rubber bullets at prisoners has happened several times over the years) of several illegally detained people at the Guantanamo prison: “The American cowardly troops, who have lost all will to fight Mujahideen head on in the battlefields, now want to avenge their losses and defeat by picking on defenseless tied up prisoners to show their bravery!!!? We once again condemn this American savagery with the strongest of words. This barbaric act of American troops clearly demonstrates their ongoing criminal behavior which they launched simultaneously alongside their eleven year old invasion…….The Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate also vow to avenge these wronged prisoners by targeting the American invaders in Afghanistan with all might at their disposal….”

The International Committee of the Red Cross is warning that violence in Afghanistan is on the increase.

The official number of U.S. military personnel to have died in Afghanistan has hit 2200.

Canada announced they are reducing ‘danger pay’ for Canucks serving in Afghanistan.  It reduces their pay by $500 CAD per month.

Germany announced they will keep 800 Bundeswehr troops in Afghanistan after the 2014 pullout.

India and China have held their first meetings concerning plans to take over from the U.S. in Afghanistan after the 2014 NATO pullout: “India and China share common concerns on ensuring stability in the country, particularly in light of their sizeable investments….”-The Hindu, independent newspaper from India

Christian Science Monitor reporting that the oil/mineral resources in Afghanistan are worth an estimated $1 trillion USD!

The U.S. Marine Corps announced they will give away expensive MRAP armored vehicles to other countries.  The USMC says it’ll be cheaper then trying to ‘retrograde’ them back to the States from Afghanistan.

In Jawzjan/Jowzjan Province, Mujahideen beheaded four Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers.

Paktiya Province, hundreds of unarmed Afghans protested a U.S./NATO/ISAF/ANA home invasion, that killed a local village elder, and kidnapped four other people.

In Herat Province, seven people killed, five wounded after they drove over a landmine.

In Kabul City, a bomb inside a garbage dumpster near a hospital exploded.  Local cops say nobody hurt.

North Carolina Army National Guard’s 210th Military Police Company held deployment ceremonies, they’re going to Afghanistan.

Germany sent at least four new NH90 helicopters to Afghanistan.  They will be used for armed escort and medivac (FAM Forward Area Medivac).

It’s been revealed that the United States and United Kingdom have been training troops from the tiny south Pacific island of Tonga.  According to U.S. military media sources, the Tongan troops will join other countries in ISAF operations.  A Tongan soldier was excited because U.S./U.K. taxpayers are paying for the whole thing, he pointed out that his government can’t afford even one .50 caliber round.

A USAF reservists from California died in Afghanistan, but he was not there with the military.  Reports say he was working a private security contract (mercenary) when he was killed by a suicide bomber.

In Maiden Wardak Province, Sayed Abad District, Mujahideen attacked a Afghan National Police (ANP) convoy, killing five cops.

In Kunduz Province, witnesses say the Afghan National Directorate of Security broke into a home in Kunduz City. Two people kidnapped.

In Uruzgan Province, Peroz area of Khas Uruzgan District, two local cops joined the Mujahideen.

In Farah Province, Pusht Rod district, a local cop joined the Mujahideen.

In Nangarhar Province, Bati Kot District, the ANA claims they killed 22 Mujahideen in several battles.  The first battle came after Mujahideen ambushed the ANA, then the second battle happened after the ANA tried to raid a village. The villagers fought back, so the ANA labeled them Mujahideen.

In Zabul Province, at least seven people killed, four wounded, after they drove over a landmine.

President Hamid Karzai ordered the Afghan Defense Ministry to forcefully remove any checkpoints established by Pakistan along the British empire created Durand Line.

In Jawzjan/Jowzjan Province, all Swedish troops have been pulled out.

World War 3, East Asian Front: North Korea issues demands!

Policy Department of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea:

First, they should immediately stop all their provocative acts against the DPRK and apologize for all of them.
    As the first phase, they should take measures of retracting the UN Security Council’s “resolutions on sanctions” cooked up under absurd pretexts.
    They should bear in mind that doing so would be a token of good will towards the DPRK.
    The south Korean puppet forces should promptly halt all anti-DPRK rackets being kicked up by them, linking their own mishaps such as the Cheonan warship sinking incident and the “March 20 hacking case” to the north.
    Second, they should give formal assurances before the world that they would not stage again such nuclear war drills to threaten or blackmail the DPRK.
    Dialogue can never go with war actions.
    Frequent nuclear war maneuvers will only strain the situation and totally block the way of dialogue.
    The army and people of the DPRK will not be taken in by sophism that the nuclear war drills being staged under its very nose are annual and defensive military actions for defending the U.S. and guaranteeing the security of south Korea.
    Third, they should make a decision to withdraw all nuclear war means from south Korea and its vicinity and give up their attempt to reintroduce them as their immediate duty.
    They should bear in mind that the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula can begin with the pullout of the nuclear war means introduced by the U.S. and this may lead to the global denuclearization.

H7N9 update: 82 cases, 17 dead!

In less than 24 hours there were five new human cases of H7N9, according to the Chinese National Health and Family Planning Commission.

Shanghai reports yet another case, while Zhejiang Province reported four new cases.

There were no details about the death.

Israeli media reporting that the Israeli police chief, Yohanan Danino, and his staff left for the U.S. the day after the Boston Bombings.  It’s part of a ten day visit with U.S. Homeland Security, planned weeks ago.

Israeli media reporting that Danino announced Israel is willing to help with the investigations of the Boston Bombings.

World War 3, North American Front: Boston bombings video captures possible paramilitary bombers

Clear pics, taken from different angles, have surfaced from the Boston Marathon, showing men wearing black jackets, khaki pants and khaki shoes (paramilitary/contract cops?) and carrying large black backpacks.  One looks to have security credentials hanging from his neck.

The backpacks match the remains of a shredded backpack found at one of the explosion sites (pic of that posted by FBI).  There are also pics of several men in civilian clothes holding similar backpacks, they are all in the area of the explosions.  Another pic shows a man placing a black backpack in a the threshold of a doorway of the building in the explosion area.

Apparently the pics were posted yesterday.  The pics were taken from the second floor of the building where the first explosion took place.  They focus on the crowd below, not on the runners in the street.

There is video of a man getting up and running for his life after an explosion.  His black shirt and black pants are shredded, but he’s apparently not hurt because he immediately gets up and runs way before anyone else in the blast area has recovered their senses.

World War 3, Economic Front: Credit Card companies shutting down mom & pops with outrageous fees!

Recently I was told by a Spanish small business owner I know, that he had to stop taking credit card payments because of a huge increases in fees being charged to small businesses.

He said the outrageous fee hikes involve VISA, MasterCard and American Express.  Turns out that MasterCard is actually being investigated for violating the European Union’s anti-trust laws.

According to EU investigators, MasterCard has jacked up fees on purchases involving cardholders living outside the EU.  Here in the U.S. credit card companies already charge cardholders extra fees for making purchases outside the United States, so it seems they’re now charging business owners in Europe extra fees for international sales as well.

MasterCard officials blamed banks for issuing cards with higher fee rates, but then said “….MasterCard always aims to balance the interests of both consumers and retailers to ensure that each party pays its fair share of the costs…”

You mean those outrageous interest rates aren’t enough to cover your costs, MasterCard?   “Fair share” my ass!

MasterCard also said the higher fees were the only way the company could remain “viable”.

VISA is also being investigated.  VISA is the biggest credit card scammer, I mean credit card service provider in the EU.  It too has created outrageous ‘cross-border’ purchaser/seller fees.

What those dumb ass highly educated credit card corporate officials don’t realize is the net effect of continuing to create new fees, and jack up existing fees and interest rates, is that it will greatly reduce credit card use, which could render them inviable.

World War 3, Economic Front: China returns to buying U.S. bonds!

China has increased its holdings of U.S. Treasury bonds (aka U.S. government debt).  Last year at this same time China held $1.16 trillion USD of U.S. bonds, now it’s at $1.22 trillion.

According to the U.S. Treasury, the $9.16 billion increase took place in February.  Apparently China still thinks the U.S. is good for the money.

H7N9 update: Only children are recovering?

Shanghai reports another human case, making the total number of confirmed infections for China 78.

In Beijing the seven years old girl who was sick, has been released from the hospital, considered recovered. Her H7N9 tests are now negative.

A four years old boy is still in quarantine, in Beijing.  He has no symptoms but tested positive for H7N9, and is considered a carrier.

A child in Shanghai was sick, but recovered, as well as a young adult.  So far it looks like the younger you are the better your chances of recovery.  Most older people who’re sick are still in the hospital.

In Taiwan, health officials have been reporting an increase in ‘suspected’ cases.  But so far, everyone has tested negative.

World War 3, East Asian Front: Japan & South Korea to sign military pact! North Korea tells citizens to prep for war!

South Korean media reporting that the Japanese ambassador announced his country is prepared to sign a military intelligence pact with Republic of Korea.  It turns out Japan and ROK was supposed to sign the military pact in July 2012!  It was put off because of protests by South Koreans. If you understand the violent recent history between Korea and Japan then you’ll understand the significance of such a pact.

ROK media also reporting that U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, told Chinese officials that the United States was willing to reduce its missile systems in the area, if the DPRK gave up nuclear weapons.

North Korea insists that its nuclear program is not negotiable.  DPRK media has published front page articles telling people to prepare for war.  Articles also point out that North Korea has every international right to its own nuclear program.  In 2003 the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea pulled out of the UN’s Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

Another U.S. investigation confirms the United States is pure Evil!!! Bush, Obama & DoJ lied about no torture!

“….it is indisputable that the United States engaged in the practice of torture.”–Task Force on Detainee Treatment

A bipartisan investigation by the Constitution Project proves that the Christian dominated United States is pure evil!

“U.S. forces, in many instances, used interrogation techniques on detainees that constitute torture. American personnel conducted an even larger number of interrogations that involved ‘cruel, inhuman, or degrading’ treatment. Both categories of actions violate U.S. laws and international treaties….”

Blame is placed on all leadership, right on up to the President of the United States.

“The nation’s most senior officials, through some of their actions and failures to act in the months and years after immediately following the September 11 attacks, bear ultimate responsibility for allowing and contributing to the spread of illegal and improper interrogation techniques…..”

The investigation found that, as history shows (otherwise we’d still be under the terror that was known as the Christian led Inquisition), torture does not result in viable intell!

“There is no firm or persuasive evidence that the widespread use of harsh interrogation techniques by U.S. forces produced significant information…much of the information…was not useful or reliable.”

The report also demands an end to Gitmo.

It also accuses the Attorney General, and other lawyers who give advise to the Office of the President, of deliberately lying about laws concerning torture and war!

“Lawyers in the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) repeatedly gave erroneous legal sanction to certain activities that amounted to torture…..in violation of U.S. and international law…”  

The investigation also revealed that the DoJ ignored data from the Department of Defense, FBI and Department of State concerning the treatment of detainees.  The investigation confirmed that the U.S. imprisons and disappears innocent people.

“….the United States has violated its international legal obligations in its practice of forced disappearances and arbitrary detention…”

The investigation found that the U.S. knowingly sent prisoners to countries that would guarantee they would be tortured, and not only that, U.S. personnel took part in the Black Site tortures.

“….U.S. officials involved with detention in the Black Sites committed acts of torture….”

What’s even more disturbing is that the investigation revealed that people in the health care, and mental health professions, helped the military develop torture techniques.  And in direct violation of U.S. military regulations doctors and psychologists even took part in torture by monitoring the victims’ responses!

“Medical professionals….participated variously in interrogations….provided medical information on detainees to interrogators, and not reporting abuses.”

The more than 500 page report has many more claims of law breaking by the military and top government officials.  It even states that the claim of protecting National Security does not justify how badly the United States has treated people imprisoned in the name of the U.S. led War on Terror.
