Exceptional Failed State: Macy’s to kill 2500 jobs in 2014!

17 January 2014 (10:29 UTC-07 Tango)/15 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/27 Dey 1392/17 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

Department store Macy’s-Bloomingdale’s closing five stores and laying off 25-hundred employees in 2014!

Company officials say they need to cut $100-million from the yearly budget! This is strange because they also announced plans to build eight new stores!

The five stores being closed are in Mesa, Arizona, Overland Park, Kansas, Florrisant, Missouri, Irondequoit, New York and Murray, Utah.

“Our ideals and principles, as well as our national security……..That’s what makes America different. That’s what makes us exceptional.”-Barack Obama, 10 September 2013

Exceptional Failed State: JCPenney killing 33 stores & 2-thousand jobs!

17 January 2014 (10:19 UTC-07 Tango)/15 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/27 Dey 1392/17 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

Despite saying they’re happy with the end of year holiday sales, JCPenney officials are going to shutdown 33 stores and kill 2-thousand U.S. jobs in 2014!

Company officials said they still aren’t profitable, and they need to cut $65-million from their yearly budget! If you’ve been following the Sears-Kmart debacle you’ll realize that shutting down a lot of stores only creates a downward spiral, because shutting down huge numbers of stores also kills overall sales.

Stores will be closed in Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Exceptional Failed State: Sears to kill minimum 1600 jobs in 2014! Kmart store built on top of cemetery?

 17 January 2014 (10:06 UTC-07 Tango)/15 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/27 Dey 1392/17 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

Alabama to lose the Decatur Sears in April.  In South Carolina, reports suggesting a now closed Kmart store was built on the old Hampton Plantation slave cemetery.  Activists are asking for a ground radar survey before anymore construction work is done by the property developer.  Another Kmart in Florida closing. This one will shutdown in March.

Sears Holdings is laying off more than 1600 Canadians in 2014!  These cuts are on top of the 800 cuts announced back in November 2013.  Most of the new job losses are in Sears Canada call centers.  Those jobs have been contracted out to IBM.  The rest of the job cuts are in “logistics”.

Exceptional Failed State: U.S. job losses & store closings 08-09 October 2013. Boston Strong kills green energy transport company! Costco kills organic Peanut Butter? Target layoffs! ObamaCare killing non-profits!

Incomplete list of announced closings and layoffs:

France based telecommunications company, Alcatel-Lucent, announced at least 10-thousand layoffs around the World.  At least 2100 layoffs will take place in the Americas.  Alcatel-Lucent has offices in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas and Virginia.  Company officials said their past layoffs were “not sufficient”, and warned of total collapse: “Everyone recognizes that this is the last chance. The situation in the enterprise is serious, very serious!”-Michel Combes, CEO

Alabama: Handy Head Start school shutdown.  It’s blamed on the temporary federal government shutdown, which only affected 18% of government spending.

California: In Victorville, local Desert Community Bank (DCB) shutdown its Dunia Plaza branch.  It’s blamed on the 2007 merger with East West Bank.  Back in 1994 as the News Producer for struggling KHIZ I worked with the president of DCB (Ron Wilson, who quit in 2007 over the merger with East West Bank) to present old school banking advise to our audience. DCB was a true hometown bank, and the president’s weekly advise was appreciated by our audience.  Unfortunately, in 1996 KHIZ was sold off to the local cable company and I had to move on.  KHIZ was in Victorville, but listed officially as being in the Los Angeles TV market.  According to info on the internet it is now owned by a company called Multicultural.  However, none of the internet info lists the 1994-96 years when we busted our asses making KHIZ the number two rated independent 9pm newscast in the LA market. The internet info also doesn’t explain that we all lost our jobs after it was discovered that the station management had royally ripped off the company, stealing millions in “advertising trades” and skipping town (cops actually traced one of the managers to Florida), forcing the new family inheritors (the son-in-law of the widowed owner of Sunbelt) of the station to sell to the local cable company (at least that’s what he told us when he canceled our news department!).   In Walnut Creek, Liliana Castelllanos clothing boutique shutdown.  In Thousand Oaks, what automotive industry recovery?  Silver Star Automotive laid off 47 people.

Illinois: In Chicago, sushi restaurant Ginza shutdown after 26 years.  The greedy property owners sold off the property out from under the restaurant owner’s feet!

Kentucky: In Pikeville, 53 years old Jerry’s Restaurant shutdown. It’s the second Jerry’s Restaurant to shutdown.  The family owners blame the bad economy saying “Times change.”

Massachusetts: In Boston, North End Segway Tours now bankrupt. So much for battery powered transportation.  Apparently the city of Boston Strong didn’t like people riding Segways on the sidewalks and hit the tour company with massive fines!  Decas Cranberries laid off 20 workers, saying the company needed to become more “efficient”.  In Somerset, Brayton Point coal fired power plant shutdown, 240 jobs lost!  It’s blamed on the takeover by Energy Capital Partners.

Michigan: In Detroit, non-profit Crittenton Hospital laid off at least 24 employees. Hospital officials said Obama Care was forcing them to become more “efficient”.  The hospital was already struggling financially, but Obama Care might do them in.

Minnesota: Target laid off 150 people at its Twin Cities corporate HQ!  Target officials blamed employee “inefficiencies” and consumer “behavior”.  In Owatonno, the Cedar Gallery shutdown. The owner said she has to spend more time taking care of her sick parents.

Missouri: Non-profit SSM Health Care warned employees of pending layoffs: “We’re making announcements this week to our employees. There’s nothing more we can say…Out of respect for those affected, we can’t really discuss the details…”-Kristen Johnson

New Mexico: Costco (along with other retailers) is being blamed for killing off the biggest supplier of ‘organically grown’ peanuts in the United States; Sunland. According to court documents, Costco canceled a major contract with Sunland, and then demanded delivery of $20-million USD worth of peanuts currently in storage.  Sunland officials say Costco has yet to pay for at least $4-million worth of those peanuts! The U.S. FDA had recently traced a salmonella outbreak to Sunland. Next time someone says “it’s just peanuts” remind them that attitude killed off one of the biggest peanut suppliers in the country; Sundland is now being liquidated in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy.  The demise of Sunland not only affects hundreds of workers in Portales, but also several peanut farming operations throughout New Mexico and Texas.

New York: In Buffalo, after 145 years of suds Ulrich’s Tavern shutdown!  They went bankrupt because of the bad economy.  In Watertown, the 40 years old non-profit North Country Children’s Clinic shutdown. 128 jobs lost! Clinic officials blame it on crashing donations and reduced Medicaid and Medicare reimbursements under Obama Care: “Unfortunately the way that the funding has rolled out, we have no choice other than to make this very difficult decision.”-Daniel A. Wasneechak, director

North Carolina: One Lowes Food and two JustSave grocery stores shutdown!  In Mount Airy, Northern Hospital of Surry County laid off 12 people. It’s blamed on reduced Medicaid and Medicare reimbursements under Obama Care.  Hospital official also stated that hospitals became big because they were ordered to: “It’s easy to be criticized for over-expanding, but that’s what hospitals were told to do to handle an aging demographic.”-Bill James, CEO

Ohio: In Lancaster, Cord Camera shutdown.  Fayette County Memorial Hospital laid off eight staff, and warned of more, blaming Obama Care: “Health care is going through unprecedented change, and we will have to do more with less!”-Lyndon Christman, CEO

Oklahoma: After already announcing 1200 layoffs (including all their in-house Christian chaplains), Christian owned Chesapeake Energy warned of even more layoffs in 2014! The company has also sold off $4-million in assets.  Also, in-house ops like Chesapeake Weather have disappeared, news reports saying websites have been taken down and nobody answers phone calls.  In Oklahoma City, US Foods shutdown its distribution center. 175 jobs lost!

Pennsylvania: 68 years old Penn Refrigeration Service now bankrupt, and being liquidated under Chapter 7.  Company officials blamed the bad economy.  State run Presque Isle Downs & Casino laid off 26 employees.

Rhode Island: Care New England Health System, Memorial Hospital laid off seven staff.  Spokeswoman for the hospital, Susan McDonald warned that layoffs would be “…an ongoing process” due to Obama Care.

Tennessee:  In Olive Branch, Closure Systems International shutdown its bottle top factory. At least 100 jobs lost!

West Virginia: What housing market recovery? Fairmont Ruskin Manufacturing Plant shutdown. 185 jobs lost!  Company officials blame it on declining “commercial construction markets”.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) doesn’t count the hundreds of layoffs involving less than 50 people each, in its mass layoff reports. It also doesn’t count all the little ‘mom & pop’ businesses that shut down.

“Our ideals and principles, as well as our national security……..That’s what makes America different. That’s what makes us exceptional.”-Barack Obama, 10 September 2013

At least 500 jobs affected!

ObamaCare Hell: FEMA says almost 60% of Idaho’s firefighters screwed over by Affordable Health Care! An ObamaCare backdoor tax increase revealed!

15 January 2014 (22:45 UTC-07 Tango 14 January 2013)/13 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/25 Dey 1392/15 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

“…about $300 per employee per month to insure them…….If we are forced to provide these insurance benefits I think you will see a lot of fire departments out of business.”Bryan Grover, Central Fire District, Rigby, Idaho

FEMA’s own U.S. Fire Administration says 57.8% of Idaho’s fire fighting operations are considered “volunteer”.  Under Obama Care even volunteer fire departments have to start paying for insurance.

A couple of weeks ago some main stream U.S. news sources reported that the IRS (the ones who’ll be fining those they believe are in violation of Obama Care at the end of the year) gave volunteer fire departments an exemption.  But that’s not true, the ‘exemption’ was only a suggestion on the IRS blog, it still has not been ‘implemented’: “We are going to need to wait and read the final implementing regulations very closely before we can 100% declare victory.”-David Finger, National Volunteer Fire Council

If the exemption is not implemented then not only could there be less fire fighters on hand, but your local taxes will jack up 35%!

But Idaho’s volunteer firefighters are not the ones who’ll be hardest hit, 92.7% of Nebraska’s fire departments are considered volunteer!

Exceptional Failed State: The Hell of ObamaCare Lies! More proof it’s about killing the economy & your health care! Taxpayer bailout of insurance industry in the works, in case of Obama Care failure!

13 January 2014 (09:47 UTC-07 Tango)/11 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/23 Dey 1392/13 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

There are more studies that show that more and more people are getting their working hours cut drastically, all so unAmerican Corporate America can avoid providing mandatory health benefits (under Obama Care) for employees who work 30 hours a week or more: “Employers often prefer part-time workers because they don’t have to pay benefits and can pay less per hour than full-timers.”-Arne Kalleberg, University of North Carolina

Even if minimum wage is increased to a pathetic $10 USD per hour, it still won’t be enough because so many people will be working less than 30 hours per week!

Recently the Obama regime proudly said that 6-million people enrolled in the Affordable Care Act.  Lie!  It’s been revealed that 3.9-million of that claim was actually people finding out that they were ‘eligible’ for Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and that was back in October/November!

Then Marilyn Tavenner, administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, went and spoiled it even more by stating most of the people that the Obama regime claims have been signed up for Medicaid under Obama Care were already enrolled long before, and just happen to be renewing their Medicaid enrollment at the time Obama Care begins!

In other words most of the 6-million Obama Care “enrollments” are actually people finding out they’re eligible, or mostly people already enrolled in Medicaid and simply renewing!

CNN has been reporting on the growing number of people who’ve paid for insurance through Obama Care, and have sought medical help only to be denied because of technicalities!  Those technicalities range from not having proper insurance ID cards, to not picking the right doctor under their Obama Care insurance plan, to being “lost” within the insurance provider’s “system”!

The people being denied care, many who make too much money to get ‘free’ Obama Care coverage, are also complaining that they are constantly given the “runaround” by insurance companies and Obama Care reps when they call to complain. CNN also reported that insurance companies admit they are getting swamped by a “unprecedented level” of complaints.

Daily News reporting that the supposed Spanish language version of the Obama Care website (CuidadoDeSalud.gov) is preventing Spanish speaking residents from signing up because it’s not written in Spanish: “When you get into the details of the plans, it’s not all written in Spanish. It’s written in Spanglish….”-Adrian Madriz, Obama Care ‘navigator’ in Florida

U.S. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman, Darrell Issa, is warning U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.  He basically accused her of lying to Congress: “Witnesses who purposely give false or misleading testimony during a congressional hearing may be subject to criminal liability……With that in mind, I write to request that you correct the record and to implore you to be truthful with the American public about matters related to Obamacare going forward.”

Click here to read the Forbes report on the Milliman study that proves Obama Care will fail financially.

And now there are reports that if Obama Care fails, then U.S. taxpayers will pay to bailout out the insurance industry! Seems fitting, the insurance industry wrote Obama Care to begin with, so why not rip off the dumb ass taxpayers of the United States even more!!!!

Exceptional Failed State: Jews control United States banking system! Obama kisses their asses! Mein Kampf becomes a best seller, again!

“I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.” -Quote attributed to Woodrow Wilson, U.S. President who signed Federal Reserve Act in 1913

Ever since the end of World War 2 we’ve been hit by massive pro-Israeli/Jewish propaganda stating that the idea that the Jews control international (western) banking is nothing but a false stereotype, or a myth.  If you check just a few facts you’ll realize the most famous NAZI, Adolph Hitler, was right!

Fact: The Obama regime recently nominated an Israeli citizen and former Bank of Israel boss, Stanley Fischer, to be vice chairman of the Federal Reserve.

Fact: The new chairman of the Federal Reserve, Janet Yellen, is Jewish.

Facts: Former Federal Reserve bosses Ben Bernanke (2006-14), Alan Greenspan (1987-2006),  Arthur F. Burns (1970-78), Eugene R. Black (1933-34) and Eugene I. Meyer (1930-33, also became the first president of the World Bank) are Jewish.

Facts: Paul Volker (Fed chairman 1979-87) was born to a Jewish mother who converted to Lutheranism. Under orthodox Jewish law you are Jewish if your mother is Jewish.  Volker helped the Nixon administration destroy the Brenton Woods agreement by taking the U.S. off the gold standard.  Also, other researchers claim the following Fed Reserve chairmen are Jewish or have Jewish ancestry, although info on these guys is sparse:  Roy A. Young (1927-30), Daniel R. Crissinger (1923-27), William P. G. Harding (1916-22) and Charles S. Hamlin (1914-16).

Facts: Apparently the only ‘Christian’ Fed Chairmen were Marriner S. Eccles (1934-48), a Mormon from Utah, and William M. Martin Jr (1951-70) a Presbyterian from Missouri.  Eccles was involved in creating the evil World Bank and International Monetary Fund.  Martin’s father helped create the Federal Reserve bank. Info available for Thomas B. McCabe (1948-51) and G. William Miller (1978-79, also member of evil Club of Rome) do not suggest any religious/ethnic affiliation.

Fact: 11 out of 15 Federal Reserve chairman are Jewish or have Jewish ancestry.

Facts: Fed Reserve governor Sarah Bloom Raskin is married to Jamie Raskin, who is Jewish.  Fed Reserve governor Jeremy C. Stein is Jewish, as is Moise Y. Safra Professor of Economics at Harvard University.  Governor Frederic Stanley “Rick” Mishkin is Jewish and has worked for the evil World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, and International Monetary Fund. Governors Jerome H. Powell and Daniel Tarullo appear not to be Jewish, both have connections to Georgetown University.  Tarullo was also a member of  the evil Council of Foreign Relations and Center for American Progress.  Powell is a member of the evil Carlyle Group and The Nature Conservancy.

Facts: Former Fed Reserve vice chairman Donald L. Kohn, and former governor Randall S. Kroszner are Jewish.

Fact: When the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank was created in 1913, as a privately held operation, the Ashkenazi Jewish (in the 12th-13th centuries Gregorian time elite Ashkenazi became government backed moneylenders) founded and controlled Rothschilds of London (N M Rothschild & Sons Limited) somehow gained an estimated 57% control of the new U.S. Central Bank.

Now, almost as a counter to this Jewish domination of western crony capitalism, Adolph Hitler’s 1925 best seller Mein Kampf is a best seller again, this time through iTunes and Amazon e-books!

Read what Hitler wrote about Jews in the 1920s, think about the current zionist state of Israel, the World banking/stock exchange system, the control of western government by Israeli political lobbies, and even the nuclear destruction (?) of Japan by Jewish intrigue.  Read and contemplate Hilter’s warnings: (from the Hurst and Blackett edition) ….the Jewish State….has absolutely no territorial boundaries……the Jewish intellect will never be constructive but always destructive……the Jew does not ever think of leaving a territory which he has once occupied…..the Jew has at all times lived in States that have belonged to other races….hidden behind the mask of a ‘religious community’…..the Founder of Christianity made no secret indeed of His estimation of the Jewish people. When He found it necessary He drove those enemies of the human race out of the Temple of God; because then, as always, they used religion as a means of advancing their commercial interests. But at that time Christ was nailed to the Cross for his attitude towards the Jews; whereas our modern Christians enter into party politics and when elections are being held they debase themselves to beg for Jewish votes. They even enter into political intrigues with the atheistic Jewish parties against the interests of their own Christian nation…..this first and fundamental lie, the purpose of which is to make people believe that Jewry is not a nation but a religion….the Jew gained an increasing influence in all economic undertakings by means of his predominance in the stock-exchange. If not the ownership, at least he secured control of the working power of the nation……By means of the Press he began gradually to control public life in its entirety…….under the name of ‘public opinion’….(from Volume 1, Chapter 11)…They created the economic weapon which the international Jew uses for the purpose of destroying the economic foundations of free and independent national States, for ruining their national industry and trade and thereby enslaving free nations to serve Jewish world-finance, which transcends all State boundaries.(from Volume 2, Chapter 12)…the transference of our productive forces to the control of Jewish international finance…commanded by international and Jewish stock-exchange capital…Hence it is that at the present time the Jew is the great agitator…the Jew is always the instigator. In peace-time, as well as during the War, the Jewish-Marxist stock-exchange Press systematically stirred up hatred…until one State after another abandoned its neutrality and placed itself at the service of the world coalition, even against the real interests of its own people….Jews control the financial forces of America on the stock exchange……He does not want to see a national Japanese State in existence when he founds his millennial empire of the future, and therefore he wants to destroy it before establishing his own dictatorship…(from Volume 2, Chapter 13)

Nazi is the incorrect term for the NSDAP (National Sozialistische Deutsche Arbeiter Partei), the word Nazi is considered to be an evolution of Southern German derogatory terms used against people you don’t like. It is interesting how it sounds like Ashke-Nazi, which might explain why some conspiracy theorists think elite Jews actually created the ‘Nazi Party’.

Exceptional Failed State: U.S. job losses & store closings 03 October 2013. More call center layoffs! More health care layoffs! More coal mining layoffs! More mortgage industry layoffs! More……..

Incomplete list of announced closings and layoffs:

Video game maker Capcom is restructuring its U.S. and European ops, which means layoffs.

Alabama:  The 88 years old Huntsville Country Club now bankrupt.

California: In San Rafael, Autodesk finally revealed they are laying off 90 employees. Company officials blame it on the bad European economy.  Kroger owned Ralph’s grocery store laid off 108 employees across SoCal! In San Clemente, Southern California Edison laid off 547 people!

Colorado: The Elk Creek coal mine laid off 115 employees! One year ago there was a collapse at the mine, and a fire began which is still burning.

Florida: In Boca Raton, the last Legal Sea Foods restaurant shut down.  The Massachusetts based owners blamed the bad economy.

Indiana: Arc of Northwest Indiana shutdown all of its 22 assisted living homes!  90 patients and 120 overworked employees affected! The Indiana Department of Health is investigating complaints of inadequate nursing care and had already revoked licenses for several of the homes.

Kansas: The Apadana Iranian rug store shutdown after 39 years of sales.  The longtime owner, Bahman Raisdana, blames the bad economy and said “I don’t feel good……..I cannot afford to have inventory anymore.”

Michigan: Too Big to Jail and taxpayer funded bailout sucker, Monarch Community Bancorp, warned of layoffs as it tries to pay off the TARP.

New York: In New York City, Italian restaurant Bice laid off 66 employees, the restaurant could be sold off.  Fab announced a second round of layoffs, this time at least 84 people in NYC will lose their jobs. In Utica, the bad economy and Obama Care forcing Saint Luke’s Healthcare to eliminate 106 jobs!  The hospital eliminated 37 jobs back in January.  In Carthage, Carthage Area Hospital laid off 29 employees.  Cayuga Community College laid off seven workers. College officials warned of more layoffs due to declining student enrollment.

North Carolina: In Cary, Xerox laid off at least 508 people at their call center!

Ohio: Call Henry laid off at least 98 people, due to a lapsed contract with NASA.  What housing market recovery? Too Big to Jail PNC Financial laying off employees due to crashing demand for home mortgage refi loans.  In Bedford, chemo therapy drug maker Ben Venue shut down its 72 years old factory, despite making $300-million USD in upgrades.  1100 jobs lost, on top of other Ben Venue layoffs earlier in 2013!!!  It’s connected to a lawsuit involving Johnson & Johnson versus Boehringer over the chemo drug Doxil.

Tennessee: What housing market recovery? Churchill Mortgage laid off at least 19 employees.  Company officials blame it on crashing home loan demand.

Texas: In Austin, social media video gamer Kabam laid off 23 employees.  In McAllen, Globe Supermarket shutdown. In Canyon, unique books, videos and music store Hastings shutdown. 35 jobs lost.

Virginia: In Burke, Treasured Child Consignments shutdown after almost 22 years in business.  The greedy landlord made a new lease agreement with another business.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) doesn’t count the hundreds of layoffs involving less than 50 people each, in its mass layoff reports. It also doesn’t count all the little ‘mom & pop’ businesses that shut down.

Exceptional Failed State: Sears & Kmart sinking fast, everybody get out now! More closings announced!

11 January 2014 (14:39 UTC-07 Tango)/09 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1435/21 Dey 1392/11 Gui-Chou (12th month) 4711

Another Kmart in Kentucky being shut down by mid-April.  Sears is closing a store and auto center in South Carolina, by early March.  Another Kmart in Michigan is closing down by mid-April.  Sears is closing a store in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

A number of retailers and even ‘dollar stores’ reported crap ass sales for the end of year holidays.  That includes Sears and Kmart (so their ridiculous Black Friday hours of operations were totally wasted).  The bad sales report was so bad that investors began unloading their stocks in Sears Holdings immediately.

Sears Holdings officials report they lost as much as $316-million USD in their fourth quarter 2013!  For the whole year they expect a loss of as much as $914-million!

Moody’s Investors Service now rates Sears Holdings stock at Caa1, which is seven levels down into the ‘Junk’ category.

Brian Sozzi, of Belus Capital Advisors, declared Sears holdings in “a slow death spiral”!  He also said he sees no way the company can recover.

Rocco Pendola, of The Street, said “If You Work For Sears, Quit and Find a New Job, NOW”!  Unfortunately in today’s U.S. economy that’s much easier said than done.

Here’s the updated list of U.S. Sears/Kmart store closings since the end of 2011:
