Born in Deutschland 1965, hometown was Bütthart, parents were not U.S. government employees. However, when father was tricked into joining the U.S. Air Force Civil Service, in 1969, with the promise that we could remain in Germany, we were promptly shipped off to Iran. Due to one of my Iranian educators being disappeared, along with her husband, by the U.S. ally Shah of Iran's Israeli & U.S. created Savak (for the then official terrorist act of promoting the idea that women can vote), and due to my U.S. citizen mother being placed on Savak's Terrorist Arrest List (for supporting the idea that women should vote, at that time the U.S. ally Shah of Iran did not allow women to vote, now they can) we left Iran for the United States in 1973, literally in the middle of the night. At the U.S. Embassy airbase the CIA operated Gooney Bird (C-47) was so packed with other U.S. citizens fleeing our ally Iran (because the Shah gave the OK to arrest any U.S. citizen for such terrorist acts as promoting the concept of voting) that we were turned away by the Loadmaster and had to take a chance on a civilian flight out of Tehran's airport. My father told me he and my mother had three culture shocks; first when they arrived in Germany as civilians, then after being shipped off to Iran as U.S. government employees, then again returning to the United States as unemployed civilians (because so much had changed in the U.S. while they were gone, their only news source was the U.S. Armed Forces Radio & Television Service which heavily censored information about the home front). Since I graduated high school in 1982 I've worked for U.S. government contractors and state & local government agencies (in California), convenience store manager in California, retail/property management in Georgia, California and Idaho. Spent the 1990s in the TV news business producing number one rated local news programs in California, Arizona and Idaho. 14+ years with California and Idaho Army National Guard and the U.S. Air Force. Obtained a BA degree in International Studies from Idaho State University at the age of 42. Unemployed since 2015, so don't tell me the economy has recovered.

Libyan army stops Rebel forces from retreating to Tunisia, Rebels suffer heavy losses in Tripoli

Reports say the Libyan army has rebels retreating to Tunis.

Bokamash, a boarder town 17 kilometers from Tunis was hit by Libyan government forces, as rebel forces tried to flee across the border.

Abdul Hakim Belhadj, a rebel spokesman in Tripoli, admitted that Libyan government forces still control parts of Tripoli, and rebel forces are suffering heavy casualties.

Libyan government forces frees one of Gaddafi’s sons, another son is leading the counter attack in Libya, it’s funny how Gaddafi’s sons keep coming back from the grave, and how many times Gaddafi has fled, only to be found still in Tripoli

Rebels had claimed they detained three of Muammar Muhammad al-Gaddafi’s sons.  Now one of those son’s, Mohamed Gaddafi, was rescued by the Libyan army.

Another son, Khamis Gaddafi, is leading the surprise counter attack, and has pushed rebels out of 80% of Tripoli.

I wonder how many people have realized that the western media has reported many times in the past that Gaddafi’s sons were killed by rebels?  Now we’re being told the rebels captured them in Tripoli, the very sons that had been killed.  And one of those sons is leading a counter attack.  One blogger counted 17 previous times the western media reported that Gaddafi’s sons were killed.

Also, the western media has reported many times that Gaddafi has been killed or has fled the country.  The most recent western media report said that Gaddafi was in Tunis.  Lies, lies and more lies, it turns out that Gaddafi is still in Tripoli, taking part in the counter attack.

Iran moving nuclear equipment underground, says Israel will attack

The new facilities that are being opened were built years ago, and the reason was because the U.S. and its ally Israel were constantly making threats against Iran, against international law, that they will bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities.”-Seyed Marandi, Tehran University

Iran has begun moving centrifuges and uranium enrichment equipment to underground bunkers.  They have already told the International Atomic Agency about the move.

Iranian officials say the move is to try and protect scientists.  Already several Iranian nuclear scientists have been assassinated.  Iran suspects Israel or the Untied States of the assassinations.

Live reporter says NATO is behind attack on Tripoli, says NATO is trying to kill reporters who mention al-Qaeda’s involvment with rebels

They are specifically targeting the areas where international journalists are, to sow panic here. NATO has done all the heavy work.  This is a NATO war. They heavily bombed cities west of [Tripoli], they’ve bombed all night, without even 10 seconds of stopping.  They have bombed this entire city and NATO landed the insurgents on the coast of Tripoli.”-Mahdi Nazemroaya, independent journalist

The reporter was giving a live report for the Russian media, he said he and all the journalists staying at the Nixos hotel were being shot at by NATO and rebel forces.  Gunshots could be heard in his live report from the hotel.

Pro-Gaddafi hotel staff grabbed guns and fought off the rebels: “More members of the hotel staff have returned with guns.  Obviously they have been fighting.  These are volunteers, not soldiers.  They returned with a picture which is not a picture of loss and they are confident.

Nazemroaya says he and other journalists were told by U.S. and other Pro-western news organizations, like CNN and al Jazeara, not to mention al-Qaeda, or they would be killed.  He says many of the “western” journalists are not true journalists, but ‘security guards’ working to intimidate independent journalists.

Rebels pushed out of Tripoli, Libyan government tanks bagan rolling out of nowhere, surprising rebels, the whole of Tripoli is a trap

“I have a feeling that the government is luring the rebels in, allowing them to have fun on Green Square and then very well counter-attacking them.”-Franklin Lamb, director of Americans for Middle East Peace

Russian media says early morning, August 22, Libyan governments tanks began rolling out of hiding places, targeting surprised rebels.

Many of the tanks targeted rebels who were attacking Gaddafi’s military compound. The tanks were joined by Libyan army guntrucks.

More tanks have been spotted at the port of Tripoli.  Earlier rebels claimed the Libyan army surrendered.  Now rebels say they control only 15%-20% of Tripoli.

Also, a convoy of at least 22 Libyan army vehicles entered Tripoli and took control of the center of the city.  They are now erecting barricades.

Egypt recognizes Rebels as new government of Libya, admits they supported rebels from the beginning

Egypt’s Foreign Minister Mohammed Kamel Amr, has announced that Cairo recognizes the Libyan Transitional National Council (rebels) as a legitimate representative of Libya.

Not only does Egypt recognize the rebels as the government of Libya, but Egyptian officials have revealed that they have been supporting them from the beginning.

Proof of this is that as many as 38 Egyptians had been arrested by Gaddafi’s forces, after they were caught helping the rebels.

One Libyan rebel official confirmed that the Libyan rebellion is connected to the regime change in Egypt: “We thank Egypt that has helped make this revolution succeed, because the Mubarak regime’s downfall helped Gaddafi’s downfall, for they are allies.”-Abdul Mon’em al-Houni

Libyan embassy in Japan raises Rebel flag, Rebel flag clue that monarchy could return to Libya

The Libyan embassy in Japan has replaced the all green flag with the flag of the rebels.  Japanese media say the embassy staff reported that the government of Libya had changed.

The flag of the rebels is also the old flag of the Kingdom of Libya, which lasted from 1951-969.  The Kingdom of Libya fell because the king was so greedy that most of the oil wealth went to him (as well as European countries) while many Libyan’s suffered.  Some accounts show that Libyan’s suffered more under the king, than under Gaddafi.

During the time of the Kingdom, the United Kingdom was the main developer and controller of Libya’s oil.  The United Kingdom is currently one of the NATO members bombing the crap out of Libya.

The United States also maintained a huge air base, called Wheeler Air Base, in the Kingdom of Libya.

The rebel’s use of the flag of the old Kingdom of Libya suggests that this is just an attempt by Europe and the United States to regain control in North Africa.  After all, even the U.S. Marine Corps hymn mentions attacking Tripoli in the past.

What Economic Recovery? S & P’s downgrades Nevada & New Jersey, Idaho gets upgrade, more to come in November

“In our opinion, the longer-term deficit reduction framework adopted as part of the Budget Control Act of 2011 (BCA) could undermine the already fragile economic recovery and complicate aspects of state and local government fiscal management.”-Gabriel Petek, S&P’s

Standard & Poor’s has already downgraded the credit rating of Nevada, New Jersey and several U.S. counties, for 2011.

Many counties and cities got super downgrades, meaning credit rankings of triple B, or less.  S&P’s says many local governments are in very bad shape fiscally.

Six states were actually upgraded. They are Idaho, Nebraska, Wyoming, Oregon, South Dakota and Louisiana.  But only Wyoming and Nebraska made the triple A rating.

In a statement issued by S&P’s on August 18, they indicate more downgrades for state and local governments are coming.  It’s all based on state budget plans, and what happens with the Federal Debt Limit Deal (Budget Control Act of 2011).

S&P’s will make more credit rating decisions in November.

Sweden’s King & Queen kicked out of German restaurant

“Whether you’re a street sweeper or queen, we just didn’t have a table or enough manpower in the kitchen at that time and our hands were tied.”-Nadine Schellenberger, restaurant Zum Gueldenen Stern

Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf, and German-born Queen Silvia, were refused service at one of Germany’s oldest restaurants, the Zum Gueldenen Stern founded in the 16th century.

The hostess said they were busy hosting a wedding party, and she just didn’t recognize the royals: “I didn’t recognize them, I mean without crowns and scepters…I am just not up on royal families and I don’t have time for glossy magazines.”

A letter of apology will be sent.  As far as finding something to eat that night, the Swedish royals had to settle for…a lowly pizza!
