Born in Deutschland 1965, hometown was Bütthart, parents were not U.S. government employees. However, when father was tricked into joining the U.S. Air Force Civil Service, in 1969, with the promise that we could remain in Germany, we were promptly shipped off to Iran. Due to one of my Iranian educators being disappeared, along with her husband, by the U.S. ally Shah of Iran's Israeli & U.S. created Savak (for the then official terrorist act of promoting the idea that women can vote), and due to my U.S. citizen mother being placed on Savak's Terrorist Arrest List (for supporting the idea that women should vote, at that time the U.S. ally Shah of Iran did not allow women to vote, now they can) we left Iran for the United States in 1973, literally in the middle of the night. At the U.S. Embassy airbase the CIA operated Gooney Bird (C-47) was so packed with other U.S. citizens fleeing our ally Iran (because the Shah gave the OK to arrest any U.S. citizen for such terrorist acts as promoting the concept of voting) that we were turned away by the Loadmaster and had to take a chance on a civilian flight out of Tehran's airport. My father told me he and my mother had three culture shocks; first when they arrived in Germany as civilians, then after being shipped off to Iran as U.S. government employees, then again returning to the United States as unemployed civilians (because so much had changed in the U.S. while they were gone, their only news source was the U.S. Armed Forces Radio & Television Service which heavily censored information about the home front). Since I graduated high school in 1982 I've worked for U.S. government contractors and state & local government agencies (in California), convenience store manager in California, retail/property management in Georgia, California and Idaho. Spent the 1990s in the TV news business producing number one rated local news programs in California, Arizona and Idaho. 14+ years with California and Idaho Army National Guard and the U.S. Air Force. Obtained a BA degree in International Studies from Idaho State University at the age of 42. Unemployed since 2015, so don't tell me the economy has recovered.

More Economic Decline: East Idaho’s Grand Teton Mall, in Idaho Falls, for sale! GGP dumping malls en masse!

13 November 2013 (14:46 UTC-07 Tango)/09 Muharram 1434/22 Aban 1391/11 Gui-Hai (10th month) 4711

“General Growth Properties is offering four regional malls…the 636,000-sf Grand Teton Mall in Idaho Falls, Idaho…..A buyer might also reposition or redevelop the properties.”-Real Estate Alert, 16 October 2013

According to an article by Real Estate Alert, the Grand Teton Mall, in Idaho Falls, is being offered in a group auction with three other GGP malls.

The other malls are Meadows Mall in Las Vegas, Nevada, Eastridge Mall in Casper, Wyoming and Red Cliffs Mall in Saint George, Utah.

Even though the malls are considered well performing Mountain States malls GGP wants to dump them fast!  GGP is hoping to raise $400-million USD in the auction.  Note that Eastridge, Red Cliffs and Grand Teton malls, and the money losing Pine Ridge Mall, were part of the May 2013 loan refi with Too Big to Jail US Bank.

Pine Ridge has already been sold off.

GGP spent big bucks on renovating Grand Teton, while spending almost nothing on Pine Ridge, and Grand Teton is doing well while Pine Ridge has crashed, yet GGP is getting rid of both (already sold off Pine Ridge).  Bottom line: Even if a shopping mall is doing well, if the owners are hurting for cash they’ll sell it off and don’t care what happens to it.  Just like when an employer is cutting costs, even if you’re the hardest working most loyal employee, if your name is next on the list you’re out-o-work!

What economic recovery?

Exceptional Failed State: U.S. job losses & store closings 01-03 September 2013. More Obama Care job cuts! More massive job losses in California!

Incomplete list of announced closings and layoffs.

Alabama: In Jacksonville, Jillybeans Cupcakes and Ice Cream closed down.

Arkansas: Arkansas State University laid off 30 scientists. It’s blamed on reduced federal taxpayer funding.

California: In Ridgecrest, Mitt Romney’s Staples shut down, 20 jobs lost.  In Calabasas, landscaper Valley Crest closed down, 69 jobs lost. In Rancho Cordova, Volcano Corporation laid off 39 employees. In Riverbank, Silgan Containers laid off 160 people!  In Emeryville, Bayer Healthcare laid off  187 people!  In Escondido, Palomar Health closed down, 122 health care jobs lost!  In Modesto, Memorial Medical Center laid off 16 people. The Menlo Park Surgical Hospital laid off two employees.  In Burlingame, the Mills-Peninsula Medical Center laid off 12 people.

Colorado: In Durango, upscale hoity toity Polo-Ralph Lauren Factory Store closed down.  Company officials decided the store wasn’t making enough money.

Florida: In Largo, Twedt’s Bowling Center closed down.

Illinois: University of Chicago laid off six cancer researchers, due to cuts in federal taxpayer funding.  In Metropolis, after 60 years Farley’s Cafeteria shut down.  On the last day the cafeteria was crowded, some people blamed the lost of the restaurant on lack of local support: “They had such a successful [last] day. I just wish when they were open they could have had these types of crowds so they could stay open. We have to support the local businesses.”-Melissa Griffith, regular customer

Indiana: In Shelbyville, RoadLink Workforce Solutions laid off 120 freight handlers!  Company officials blame it on the loss of a major contract with grocery company Kroger.

Iowa: In Sycamore, the Ben Franklin Crafts and Custom Frame Shop store shut down.

Maryland: In Baltimore, after 50 years of advertising ad agency Carton Donofrio Partners ceased operations. It’s blamed on multiple reasons.

Massachusetts: In Newton, the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology laid off seven employees.  School officials blamed “redundancies”.

Missouri: In Kirkwood, Culpeppers restaurant closed down.  It was sold to property developers.

North Carolina: Winston-Salem’s Twin City Chop House upscale restaurant closed down (dinners ranged in price from $28 to $59 USD), 50 jobs lost.  The owners would not explain the reason for the closing.

Washington: In Seattle, Andrews International laid off 35 employees.

West Virginia: Fairmont General Hospital now bankrupt.  Hospital officials are hoping to find a financial partner to support operations.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) doesn’t count the hundreds of layoffs involving less than 50 people each, in its mass layoff reports. It also doesn’t count all the little ‘mom & pop’ businesses that shut down.

More Fukushima Fallout: Robot confirms containment vessel breach! Stupid main streamer U.S. media continues to blame tsunami for “man made” disaster!

13 November 2013 (13:11 UTC-07 Tango)/09 Muharram 1435/22 Aban 1392/11 Gui-Hai (10th month) 4711

For the first time since March 2011, an inspection of Reactor 1’s containment area was made.  A robot was used as radiation levels will kill all humans (1.8 sieverts per hour).

Workers using the robot discovered two holes in Reactor 1’s containment vessel, both are pouring out contaminated cooling water at high rates.  This is the mystery source of contaminated water leaks, as I’ve postulated in prior postings.

Tokyo Electric Power Company officials down played the holes saying they were probably caused by external debris.  Yeah right, TEPCo has lied many times before!  Inspectors are now even more sure that Reactors 2 & 3 have breached containment vessels as well (as I’ve been postulating).

Meanwhile, back in the dumbed down United States, I’m getting tired of hearing main streamer news sources continually saying the GE designed reactors at Fukushima Daiichi were “damaged” by the quake and tsunami.  Back in July 2012 a Japanese investigation concluded that the meltdowns are man made: “The accident was not a natural disaster but was obviously a man made disaster.”-Fukushima Nuclear Accident Independent Investigation Commission

Wake up you ‘tarded U.S. main streamer news media!  “Stupid is as stupid does.”-Forrest Gump, fictional guy in a movie

(apologies to people who are truly mentally disabled, but those people in the news media present themselves as being intelligent which they obviously are not [I was a local TV News Producer for six years, producing top rated programs at three stations, so I know first hand.  Like the time an Ivy League school graduate with a degree in English chewed me, a community college student, out for criticizing her totally confusing report, shortly afterwards she became an evil insurance saleswoman])

Exceptional Failed State: U.S. job losses & store closings 28-31 August 2013. Obama Care shuts down yet another Christian nursing home! More call center closures! Verizon cuts jobs!

Incomplete list of announced closings and layoffs.

California: In Emmeryville, the Ernest Gallo addiction clinic laid off three employees. In Santa Clara, high tech company Applied Materials laid off five people.  In San Dimas, Kroger owned Ralph’s grocery store closed down laying off 61 employees.  In Bakersfield, Xerox laid off 69 people.  In Fresno, Too Big to Jail Bank of America laid off 543 people!  In Irvine and Pasadena, Too Big to Jail OneWest Bank laid off 180 people!  In Folsom, Verizon Wireless laid off 132 employees! In Mountain View, Bayer Healthcare laid off 63 employees.  In Alameda and South San Fransisco, Berkley Heartlab laid off 30 employees.

Connecticut:  In Meridian, Celico Partnership (dba Verizon Wireless) closed down, 160 people unemployed!  In Waterbury, NAFI Connecticut closed down, 66 people unemployed.

New York: In Olean, Advanced Monolythic Ceramics closed down, 65 people let go.  In North Massapequa, ProHealth Care Associates closed one of its offices, six people unemployed.

Ohio: In Dublin, Verizon Wireless closed down, 62 people laid off.  In Youngstown, Verizon Wireless closed down, 64 people laid off.

Oregon: In Hillsboro, SolarWorld laid off 100 employees!

Tennessee: The Christian God can’t stop Obama Care from killing 61 more jobs at Baptist Memorial Health Care hospitals.  Just a week prior they laid off 23 managers.  Hospital officials blamed Obama Care: “Health care is going through unprecedented change, and we’ll all have to do more with less.”-Jason Little, executive vice president and COO

Texas: In Austin, OneWest Bank laid off 725 call center employees!  The call center was sold to Owen Financial Corporation.

Wisconsin: In Watertown, even the Christian God couldn’t stop Obama Care from closing down the non-profit Bethesda Lutheran Communities nursing home for disabled people, at least 205 people out-o-work!  Officially it’s blamed on declining number of patients, but also because of declining Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) doesn’t count the hundreds of layoffs involving less than 50 people each, in its mass layoff reports. It also doesn’t count all the little ‘mom & pop’ businesses that shut down.

World War 3, West Asia Front: Obama & Congress prep for war with Iran, Israel cracks the whip?

12 November 2013 (14:04 UTC-07 Tango)/08 Muharram 1434/21 Aban 1391/10 Gui-Hai (10th month) 4711

Agence France-Presse reporting that the democrat Obama regime has just informed the U.S. Congress to either make a deal with Iran, or prepare to declare war on Iran!

There are many congressman who’ve been calling for war, like republicans McCain and Graham.

The Obama regime’s ultimatum to Congress comes two days after Israeli NAZI leader Nut-job-yahoo (Netanyahu) told the General Assembly of Jewish Federations of North America that John Kerry better not make a deal with Iran because it was (from the Israeli point of view) “a bad deal”.

The day after Nut-job-yahoo made his threat the French did a 1-80 and suddenly opposed any deal with Iran.  Yellow bellied Obama regime lackey John Kerry followed suit.

Bottom line: Israel wants nobody to make any deals with Iran.  What the Israelis (and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) want is all out war with Iran.

Exceptional Failed State: U.S. health industry caught lying about why your health care cost so much! It’s called crony capitalist False Flag price fixing! Obama Care will only drive prices up!

12 November 2013 (13:46 UTC-07 Tango)/08 Muharram 1434/21 Aban 1391/10 Gui-Hai (10th month) 4711

“Price is the culprit! Not population, demographics, or use and intensity.”-Hamilton Moses, Journal of the American Medical Association

The Journal of the American Medical Association just published the results of their study into why health care cost so much in the United States; it’s price fixing by the entire health industry, from your doctor to hospitals to legal drug pushers!

The JAMA study says high health care prices have absolutely nothing to do with consumer demand, because consumer demand is actually crashing!

The study also found that many hospitals never reveal to their patients, and not even to doctors, how much they are charging: “This is not a market. It is far from a market. Few prices are known. They are not well publicized.”-Hamilton Moses

As far as Obama Care goes, since the law forces almost everybody in the U.S. onto privately run insurance cost will only go up.  That’s because the JAMA study found that a major factor in high health care costs was the insurance industry itself.  The administrative costs of dealing with insurance companies is increasing at a rate of at least 6% per year.

Exceptional Failed State: Obama regime lackey, Jack Lew, says “there was never an economic crisis”!

12 November 2013 (09:37 UTC-07 Tango)/08 Muharram 1434/21 Aban 1391/10 Gui-Hai (10th month) 4711

Today, in an interview with Japan’s NHK (Nippon Housou Kyoukai/Japan Broadcasting Corporation) U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, Jack Lew, responded to questions about the government debt crisis, 18% False Flag federal government shutdown and the U.S. economy by stating “It’s important to remember that there was never an economic crisis.”

Lew also said the U.S. economy is growing: “…we’re seeing a lot of signs in a lot of parts of the economy of strength……we see signs of increased growth on the horizon.”

Of course he didn’t give specifics, and he obviously hasn’t been reading Blind Bat News!

John Kerry: War veteran turned evil Obama regime al Qaeda operative, and bold face liar?

11 November 2013 (12:30 UTC-07 Tango)/07 Muharram 1434/20 Aban 1391/09 Gui-Hai (10th month) 4711

“….he is lying and he knows that he is lying! This is sad.”-Vladimir Putin, President of Russia calling John Kerry a blatant liar regarding al Qaeda in Syria

“…every time I get briefed on this it gets worse and worse, because the majority now of these rebel forces, and I say majority now, are radical Islamists pouring in from all over the world.”-Michael McCaul, U.S. representative from Texas, on 04 September 2013

“I just don’t agree that a majority are al Qaeda and the bad guys. That’s not true.”-John Kerry, Obama regime Secretary of State replying to McCaul’s statement

“Mister Secretary….How are we going to…expel al Qaeda?……They may be small in number, but they are the most influential…”-questioned posed to John Kerry during Google Hangout/Plus Event interview on 10 September 2013 (about 20 minutes into the interview)

“You are correct to say that they have proven themselves to be probably the best fighters, are the most trained and aggressive on the ground.”-John Kerry, Obama regime Secretary of State, admitting that Jabhat al-Nusra is an al Qaeda group in Syria, just days after telling the U.S. Congress that it wasn’t true

“Listing this terrorist entity [al Nusra], which has publicly sworn allegiance to al-Qaeda, is an essential part of our efforts to combat terrorism.”-Steven Blaney, Canada’s Minister of Public Safety, August 2013

“Al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri has anointed al-Nusra Front jihadists to carry the network’s banner in Syria…………The al-Nusra Front, created in January 2012, joined al-Qaeda in December of that year and is on a U.S. list of foreign terrorists organizations.”Al Arabiya, 09 November 2013

“I personally believe that the leader of the Nusra Army who declared his support for Ayman al-Zawahiri, is a CIA operative……You are fighting the war in Syria on America’s behalf.”-Sheikh Nabil Naiim, former al Qaeda leader in Egypt who resigned after learning that the U.S. is the one really running al Qaeda

Here is John Kerry’s threat to high school students in California, in October 2006: “You know, education, if you make the most of it and you study hard and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

In 2004 Kerry said this about the occupation of Iraq: “It’s the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

Yet here’s what John Kerry said about Saddam Hussein in February 2003: “If you don’t believe…Saddam Hussein is a threat with nuclear weapons, then you shouldn’t vote for me.”  In other words, democrat Kerry was on board with the republican Bush Jr regime’s lies about WMDs in Iraq, and with the goal of getting rid of Hussein.  It’s was proven before and after the U.S. invasion of Iraq that there were no WMDs!

In 2002, John Kerry basically said the Bush Jr regime’s Homeland Security police state wasn’t going far enough to destroy our Constitutional rights: “We need a new approach to national security, a bold, progressive internationalism that stands in stark contrast to the too often belligerent and myopic unilateralism of the Bush Administration.”

Here’s what John Kerry said as a returning veteran from the Vietnam War in 1971: “How do you ask a man to be the last man to die in Vietnam? How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?”

“There are all kinds of atrocities, and I would have to say that, yes, yes, I committed the same kind of atrocities….”

Mmmm, what happened to the war veteran turned anti-war activists in 1971?

 Fidel Castro, says….Obama is “Sinister”!

Exceptional Failed State: More Kmart Sears closings! Corporate America want’s crazy “power tripping” workers! Investors love it!

11 November 2013 (10:20 UTC-07 Tango)/07 Muharram 1434/20 Aban 1391/09 Gui-Hai (10th month) 4711

The following quotes partly explain what’s going on with unAmerican Corporate America.  They were found in the Ohio based derf magazine.

“Kmart has a hard time fitting into the current consumer market The discount department store paradigm shift has resulted in consumers looking elsewhere. Plus, they really like to hire crazy-eyed, power-tripping, filthy broads in the customer service department.”-Steven Walker, economist

“There is a big problem with general lack of jobs right now. However, that is mostly among workers who are competent. It seems there are many companies in America where there will always be a place for incompetent and rude employees.”-Doug Kelvin, employment analyst

“I’ve already got my resume in to Time Warner to be a phone rep.  I feel I can really put my uncooperative nature to good use with Time Warner. They might even put me in a TV commercial.  However, I worry that working with customers over the phone will not take full advantage of my deepest uncooperative skills. I guess I’ll just try to make up for that by being extra uncooperative.”-Tamara Carlina, power tripping (and sarcastic) Kmart employee

In San Clemente, California, a Kmart that was turned into a Sears, and then back into a Kmart in 2012, is being shut down.  A Kmart in Oceanside is finally being closed, it’s closing was announced back in December 2011. No word on when the final days are.

North Carolina losing another Kmart.  This ones in Garner. Local news media reports say no final closing date has been given.  Apparently the store has been on the closing list since 2012.

A Kmart in Sterling, Illinois, will close in January 2014.

The Rochester, Minnesota, Sears in the GGP owned Apache Mall to be sold off.  Sears Holdings officials gave the same BS statement about the fate of employees: “They will have an opportunity to apply for positions at other Kmart and Sears stores.”-Howard Riefs

Sears Canada selling off eight shopping centers!  The properties were sold for $315 million CAD.

Sears is trying to kiss up to military veterans offering them free shipping and extra bonus points in the Shop Your Way scheme.

Investors love what Sears Holdings is doing, the price of Sears Holdings shares remain above $55 USD per stock.

Ever since the Kmart bankruptcy, this pad site for sale sign has been seen in the Pocatello, Idaho, Big Kmart parking lot. The Kmart is the only building on the lot.
