For the past 14 months the Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force has been assisting the federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in something called Operation Twisted Tea. This not the first time Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force has cooperated with DEA, and, according to the press release, Operation Twisted Tea is ongoing.
