Incomplete list:
2800 block of West Polk Street: 18 years old man shot and killed by special ‘gang enforcement’ police. Police claim they were responding to calls about armed men in the area. Cops claim when they arrived one man ran, they chased him up the stairs of an apartment building where he conveniently (for the cops) pointed a gun at them, so they killed him. Of course no witnesses. Police protestors shouted “Who are we! We’re Chicago!” and “This is about unity, it’s time for a change in our community!”
900 block of East 80th Street: Two men dead, and police are involved. Police claim two of their patrol officers were walking a beat when they claim they heard bangs. The cops continue their story by saying the two patrolmen turned a corner to find one man standing over another. Of course they say the men were armed, and the man standing conveniently pointed his gun at the cops, so they killed him. Police claim the man on the ground was already dead. Apparently no witnesses.
1200 block of East 71st Street: More mystery surrounding last weeks killing of a nine years old boy who was found shot to death near his home. According to news reports his mother says he ran out of the home after being scolded for trying to eat a cupcake. His brother tried to go after him but wasn’t fast enough and lost him. His mom called police at 16:08 hours and, according to her, they showed up five minutes later to tell her he was dead. She says it was only about 30 minutes between the time she told her son not to eat the cupcake and when the police arrived. Police say they found the boy riddled with bullets about one block from the house. No arrests.
2200 block of South Marshall Boulevard: Yet another 16 years old boy shot and killed. Police don’t care as they called the victim a “documented” gangbanger. Police made that determination because they claim the shooters used gang lingo just before they killed the kid. Police seem to know who did the shooting (thanks to witnesses), but nobody has been arrested.

13300 block of South Indiana Avenue: 21 years old man shot and killed while sitting in a car.
4300 block of West Monroe Street: Three years old boy shot in the head and wounded. Police say he was playing with a gun, although they say the house was filled with other kids and apparently the mother was gone. They also accuse the father of taking the gun after the shooting and running away.

10000 block of South State Street: A man and a woman were shot and wounded. They say the shooter was standing on the other side of the street.
1200 block of West 112th Street: 17 years old boy shot and wounded. He refused medical help.

0-100 block of South Leamington Avenue: 27 years old man shot and wounded during armed robbery.
6700 block of South Stony Island Avenue: Four people shot, a teenaged girl, two women and a man. They were standing in front of a Pizza Hut restaurant. The victims (two of whom are Pizza Hut employees) said they were shot by a drive-by-shooter in a white vehicle. Police are confused because they admit this is not a gangbanger shooting as none of the victims are “documented” gangbangers, and apparently police are unaware of the shooter (in other words, ‘gang enforcement’ police were left out of the loop by their gangbanger informants). “I saw cars heading into the parking lot and I heard a bunch of gunshots, people screaming and cars speeding and swerving to get out of the area.”-Serenity Marie, witness
5600 block of South Elizabeth Street: 46 years old woman shot and wounded by what police are calling an “accidental” shooting.

5400 block of South Halsted Street: 17 years old boy shot and wounded.
1600 block of North Saint Louis Avenue: 31 years old mans shot in the arm as he was driving his car.
Retired FBI agent, Jim Fisher, compiled his own data on death by cop (because the government does not). He based it on news reports from 2011. He ranked Chicago as the Most Deadly City for being shot by cops: 46 total (10 fatal) in 2011.
“I collected this data myself because the U.S. Government doesn’t. There is no national database dedicated to police involved shootings…..
…..Almost all police involved shootings, while investigated by special units, prosecutor’s offices, or an outside police agency, were investigated by governmental law enforcement personnel. It is perhaps not surprising that more than 95 percent of all police involved shootings were ruled administratively and legally justified.”-Jim Fisher
It’s interesting that the police seem to know how most shootings went down, even though they weren’t present and most victims refuse to “cooperate”. And yet, few arrests.
The majority of victims are male. Police continue to insist most of the gun violence is caused by gangbangers, but have made few arrests. That’s because police believe most of the victims are also gangbangers. Realize that police in metropolitan areas keep records of whose who in the local gangs, this how they know if a victim is a “documented gang member”. This also means police probably know who the assailants are. So why no arrests?
Once again, majority of shooting victims were not armed, it’s as if the shooters are deliberately targeting unarmed people. It also questions the police claims that the victims are gang members. Wouldn’t they be armed?
New anti-gun laws would not stop the shootings, because most guns used in Chicago shootings are already illegal!
Now here’s something interesting: Notice police claim most of the victims of the shootings are gangbangers, and realize that it’s the families of those victimized gangbangers demanding all out police state gun bans! Is that irony?
