Forever Wars: UNSC passes ‘paper tiger-humanitarian pause’ Resolution!

On 15NOV2023, the United Nations Security Council passed the Malta initiated Resolution 2023-876 calling for unhindered humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza, demands the cessation of attacks against hospitals, civilians and aid workers!  12 countries voted in favor, no country voted against it, Russia, United Kingdom and United States joined together in abstaining from voting on the UNSC resolution!

After the U.S. abstained from voting, the U.S. ambassador hypocritically praised the resolution, then denounced Russia and China, and blamed Palestinians for the war!

Israel to ignore UNSC resolution, the Israeli ambassador to the UN says hospitals are “fortified bases”! Palestinian ambassador to the UN says the resolution is a paper tiger, calling it “selective outrage” that does nothing about ending the war, or enforcing international laws of war/humanitarian war crimes!

Some Facebook groups (I am now no longer part of), removed all my posts about the UNSC resolution on Gaza! Blind Bat News was also blocked, possibly due to the use of recent, verifiable, international news-media reports concerning Israel!

Officials with CBP and the Honduras Customs Administration, sign the Trump era Foreign Electronic Cargo Data Exchange Program (FECDEP) during a signing ceremony at CBP Headquarters on 13NOV2023. FECDEP was revealed by Homeland Security during the Trump era, it is a digital tracking system for consumer supply chain logistical operations that are considered high-risk for being used to smuggle illegal drugs: “The NTC’s Global Targeting Advisory Division (GTAD) started a program in 2018 to negotiate non-binding cargo data exchange arrangements for the Foreign Electronic Cargo Data Exchange Program (FECDEP) with international partners, often other customs services, to receive their manifest cargo data electronically. The cargo manifest data being shared is a subset of the Cargo and Conveyance Manifest Information collected by the foreign partner. This data includes information on the goods transported on board a particular conveyance, including transportation and cargo bill of lading/air waybill information received prior to arrival in the United States and provided to a competent government authority by the involved parties. For FECDEP, under a cargo data exchange arrangement, a foreign partner will agree to transfer its electronic cargo data to CBP’s Automated Targeting System (ATS). The goal of the FECDEP program is to collect cargo manifest data with no nexus to the United States and gain access to cargo data not normally available to CBP for use in targeting and risk assessment. Currently, CBP has two active FECDEP agreements in place (Panama and Peru) and thirteen FECDEP agreements in process.”-Homeland Security, Privacy Impact Assessment-Automated Targeting System
