War on Terror shifts to War on Flu. Politicians opposed were removed before votes were cast! New law says who will get help and who won’t!

April 27, 2012, Japan’s Diet (parliament) has passed a bill that allows near martial law like conditions in response to a major epidemic.

The Japanese government can now set up a special task force to deal with an outbreak of unusually virulent influenza.  A state of emergency can be declared if the epidemic threatens the economy.

The special task force can decide who will be given priority for medical help! Education can be suspended, and public gatherings and events restricted.

Something else to be concerned about, this law was passed only because all those politicians that opposed it were not present in the parliament, including members of the Liberal Democratic Party.

Japanese media says the law passed with a majority of the votes, but that’s a given when all those opposed were not present.

The committee that debated the bill warned that provisions should be added that protected individual liberties, and that the special task force should be required to heed the advise of medical experts.

What Economic Recovery? Postal Service to be fully privatized

April 27, 2012, Japan’s House of Councillors passed a bill that would merge the country’s two postal service providers into one privatized corporation.

There is already a 2005 law that requires the Japanese government to give up all financial control of their postal system by September 2017.

This new bill, a resolution to the 2005 law, drops the deadline date, but also allows the new privatized single postal service to begin operations without government approval.

There is opposition to the privatization of Japan’s postal service.  When the 2005 law was passed it was done by dissolving Japan’s House of Representatives, most of whom were opposed to privatization.  In other words it was passed by unfairly eliminating the governmental opposition.

To try and counter the 2005 law, a new law was passed that froze any further sale of government held Japan Post stock.  However, this new law overrides that and the current government says they will use the money to pay for post March 11, 2011, disaster reconstruction (which indicates the government is broke).

One Year Later: Proof that being a refugee will kill you, more than 1600 people die in Japan. Money does not help!

More than a year after the March 11, 2011, earthquake/tsunami and nuclear disaster, 1,618 people have died.

Japan’s Reconstruction Agency announced on April 27, 2012, that living as refugees was the cause of their deaths.

Most had lost their homes and were living in makeshift housing. The Agency determined that extremely stressful and unhealthy conditions causes people to die. Some people died because they needed medical treatment, but were unable to get help.

Deaths occurred in nine prefectures. So far Fukushima leads the list with 764 deaths, followed by 636 in Miyagi and 179 in Iwate.

The Reconstruction Agency started tracking refugees only because of the money that was given out for disaster relief. Turns out the money did little to make life better for the refugees.

U.S. Treasury Secretary admits Government officials & Corporate America are incompetent!

What you can do is make sure when it happens it does not cause too much damage and to do that you have to make sure you have good rules against fraud and abuse, better protections and you force banks to hold more capital against their risk.”-Timothy Geithner, U.S. Treasury Secretary, statement made after touring a factory in Portland

Realize that Geithner is talking about the political and corporate leadership of the United States.  He’s also saying, in a ’round about way, that he has been trying his best to make sure the incompetent decisions by our leaders “…does not cause too much damage…”

Those leaders include both Republican Bush Jr and Democrat Obama!

World War 3: Soldier from Georgia killed in Afghanistan. More U.S./NATO deaths. Mujahideen launch major attack on Afghan cops. Another Afghan soldier kills U.S./NATO soldier.

April 26, 2012, Badakhshan provincial officials report that Mujahideen attacked a police check point.  At least three police officers were killed, three others were wounded and 16 others were taken prisoner.

On top of that 21 police officers have gone missing.  Officials say the check point had a total of 43 cops, which means all the police were killed, wounded, captured or ran away!

In Kandahar Province three U.S./NATO personnel were wounded after their vehicle ran over a mine.  Other international reports say three soldiers were killed.  Mujahideen claim they killed five U.S. soldiers with the mine.

In Helmand Province, a soldier from the country of Georgia (not a current NATO member, but a puppet of the United States), has been killed by an explosion: “He had been serving in the Georgian Armed Forces since 2004. Sergeant Khujadze also participated in a peacekeeping mission in Iraq. In 2011 he was awarded with the Medal for Participation in Peacekeeping Operations.”-Georgian government statement

This makes the 16th soldier from the country of Georgia to be killed in Afghanistan.

The announcement from Georgian officials came after International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) reported another NATO death.  Since ISAF does not give details, and since Georgia is being considered for membership in NATO, it could be possible that ISAF was referring to the Georgian soldier’s death.

ISAF also claims that more members of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan were captured, this time in Wardak Province.  At least one militant was killed. ISAF also says a “Haqqani” leader was captured in Khost Province.

Also in Wardak Province, local officials say three women were killed when their house was hit by a rocket. No one knows who fired the rocket. The incident took place on April 23.

On the night of April 25, a man wearing Afghan army uniform shot and killed a U.S./NATO soldier.  Occupying forces returned fire and killed the Afghan soldier.  USFOR-A team is investigating the incident.

According to icasualties.org U.S./NATO deaths are now at 127 for 2012.

What Economic Recovery? Nintendo suffers first loss ever in 30 years!

April 26, 2012, Kyoto-based video game maker Nintendo reported its first ever loss.

Nintendo officials say they lost $530 million USD in fiscal year 2011.  Japan’s fiscal year ends in March.

2011 sales crashed 36%.  However, total sales was still about $7.9 billion USD.

Company officials blame the sales crash on the high asking price for their 3DS system.  They dropped the price in August, hoping to increase sales.  By dropping the price they ended up cutting their profits.

Today’s reported loss is the first loss for Nintendo since 1981!

Nintendo has a new game system that will be for sale in Europe, North America and Japan, before December 2012.

One Year Later: Radiation contaminated fish found in Japanese rivers!

In a town 180 kilometers (111.8 miles) from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear plant, which continues to spew radiation, fish in a major river are contaminated with Cesium.

Silver crucian carp caught in the Tone River contain 110 becquerels of radioactive cesium per kilogram.  The new official safe limit is 100 becquerels.

This is not the first time contaminated animals have been caught in the river.  Last month shellfish were also found to be contaminated.

Chiba prefectural officials are asking all commercial fisherman not to sell any fish caught in the river.  People are warned not to eat anything from the river.

World War 3: More lies from Afghanistan

“Since December, all U.S. counter terrorism and special forces missions have been Afghan led.”-Lieutenant Colonel Jimmie Cummings, U.S. Army

According to a new study, Lt Col Cummings is a liar.  Just today I questioned the daily 24 hour battle reports being given by the Afghan National Security Forces. Their reports seem canned in that it’s almost the same number of killed and wounded everyday, just about the same locations everyday, the same claims of weapons captured, and even the same claims of illegal drugs destroyed.

Either the “Taliban” are more active than we’re being told, or someone is lying about Afghan/Coalition (occupiers) military operations.

A new report by the Kabul based Afghan Analysts Network (AAN) says that many of the so called Afghan led operations are actually led by U.S./NATO forces, and sometimes no Afghan forces are involved at all!

In their report titled Death of an Uruzgan Journalist: Command Errors and Collateral Damage, the authors focus on a 2011 incident, where a suicide bomber blew up a radio station.   In the aftermath a U.S. soldier killed an innocent reporter who was a survivor of the suicide bombing.

Initially the U.S. tried to cover it up by insisting the Afghan troops were the ones who responded to the bombing.  International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) refused to comment on whether U.S. led occupying forces were the ones who responded.

The AAN report says even now ISAF continues to present the incident as an “Afghan led” response.  AAN says what they discovered in trying to find out what happened to a reporter who had been targeted in the past, by both Mujahideen and U.S. occupying forces,  is that the United States is trying to give the impression that most military operations are fully under the direction of the Afghan government, possibly to justify an early withdrawal of U.S. troops.

World War 3: Red Dawn for Real! Russian Airborne landing in Colorado! All part of the War on Terror!

In 1984 I saw the movie Red Dawn.  I was already in the U.S. military, hyped up on anti-commie propaganda.

The movie envisions (but doesn’t really go into the details) a United States that has lost favor with the world, and the Soviets take advantage and invade the U.S. state of Colorado.

Well, here it is 2012, and the United States has lost favor with the world, and Russian airborne forces are headed for Fort Carson, Colorado!

“This is the first time such an event is being held. The Russian airborne will contribute a special task group that will exercise with U.S. special service weapons.”-Colonel Aleksandr Kucherenko, Russian Defense Ministry

According to Russian officials, this first time joint war game between Russian and U.S. forces, on U.S. territory, is being done in the name of the U.S. led War on Terror: “According to the exercise scenario, soldiers of the two countries will hold a tactical airborne operation, including reconnaissance of an imaginary terrorists’ camp and a raid.”-Colonel Aleksandr Kucherenko, Russian Defense Ministry

World War 3: Israel doing a 180 on Iran, now says Iran is NOT a threat! Egypt is!

April 25, 2012, Israel’s Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Benny Gantz, told Israeli media that Iran was not a nuclear threat!

He based his statements on a report that was published back in February. That report cited 16 intelligence agencies that said Iran is not a nuclear threat. But General Gantz is not the first, or most important, Israeli official to back off of Iran.

On April 22, Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company canceled its deal with Israel, causing Israeli politicians to have a shit fit: “This is a dangerous precedent that diminishes the peace treaty!”-Yuval Steinitz, Israeli Finance Minister

As a result, probably the most influential politician in Israel, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, announced that Egypt was now Israel’s greatest threat: “We have to be prepared for all possibilities…The Egyptian issue is much more disturbing than the Iranian issue!” (statement was reported in an Israeli newspaper, which was paraphrasing what Lieberman was telling Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a closed door/private meeting)

This is just proof that what our glorious leaders tell us (whatever it is about) is unadulterated crap!
