Global Economic Class War: U.S. workers finally fighting back, riots in Washington state, mainstream media ignores it

“This was an organized, large-scale criminal event. We’re talking about sabotage. We’re talking about riotous behavior.”-Mark Nelson, Cowlitz County Sheriff

September 7 and 8, there was a major union protest that shut down ports in Washington state.  Did you see it?  Only now are some national U.S. media reporting it, but only local TV stations show you what really happened!

According to The Daily News, hundreds of longshoreman stormed the Port of Longview where they dumped shipments of grain and damaged guard shacks.  They also crashed a security vehicle, and sabotaged rail cars by cutting the brake lines.  Local Longview Police Chief Jim Duscha, estimates 400 people were involved.

One protestor carrying a baseball bat, allegedly threatened the police by saying:  “Today is the day law enforcement gets theirs!”

The Daily News article makes it clear that the local law enforcement doesn’t give a crap about the escalating plight of the average worker in the United States, all they cared about was: “I was always assured that things would not get violent towards our police officers.”-Mark Nelson, Cowlitz County Sheriff

The union is protesting the Port of Longview because their members have been barred from getting jobs there (so much for economic recovery).  Ports in Seattle, Tacoma and Everett, Washington were also shut down when union workers walked off.

The U.S. media is totally ignoring this.  Here’s how The Los Angeles Times reported it: “Hundreds of angry longshoremen walked off the job at ports in the Pacific Northwest on Thursday”. There was no explanation as to why the ‘walkout’ happened.

Watch the KGW Portland, Oregon, TV station report. Some bloggers say the KGW report is watered down.

Government Incompetence: Japan’s wild animals and plants highly contaminated with Cesium!

Gakushuin University Professor Yasuyuki Muramatsu, says radioactive cesium on soil and fallen leaves in forests is easily absorbed by mushrooms and edible plants.

On 03 September 2011, wild mushrooms found in a forest in Fukushima Prefecture contained 28,000 becquerels of radioactive cesium per kilogram, far above the national safety limit.  A wild boar was also found to have radiation amounts about 6 times the safety limit.

Professor Muramatsu is urging the Japanese government to conduct tests on wild animals and plants.

Global Economic War: Evil buck passing United States blames evil Europe for world economic problems, but it’s the average Joe & Jone who’s going to pay

“Seventy-five percent of the dark things happening in the world economy are because of the eurozone.”-Timothy Geithner, U.S. Department of Treasury

September 9, U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner blamed the European Union for U.S. economic failures!

Geithner made the comments at a G7 meeting in France.  He says EU countries need to make even harsher cuts, and raise even more taxes, in order to solve their debt crisis.  Going by his statements, can you guess what’s coming for the people of the United States?

What Economic Recovery? U.S. citizens moving to Europe, say there’s no more opportunities in the United States

“I’m doing it as an exit strategy of sorts. I like knowing that I have another place to go if things get even worse here, or if I just get tired of running on the American mouse wheel.”-Amber Alfano

According to a Florida media source, the number of U.S. citizens who want to move to Europe has skyrocketed. The number one reason is economic: “With an EU passport, I can live and work in 27 countries. With a U.S. passport, I can live and work in one.”-Suzanne Mulvehill

Many U.S. citizens can qualify for European citizenship, if a parent or grand parent was a European national.  It’s estimated that more than 40 million U.S. citizens are eligible for dual citizenship.

“It’s definitely a really good thing to have on your résumé with business going so global. I probably never would have done it if it wasn’t for the EU, but at the same time I’ve always been extremely proud of my Greek heritage.”-Lauren Berg

“I understand the impulse: You can get a better deal over there.”-Stanley Renshon, City University of New York

Attorney’s say the number of people wanting legal help moving to another country has definitely gone up: “I have to say that over the past few years, calls I never would have received before have been made to the office. It’s not like a tidal wave, but it’s certainly more substantial, and it’s remarkable.”-Sam Levine, immigration attorney

“My dad was actually the one who put a bug in my ear about the whole citizenship thing. He said that Europeans are more interested in the quality of life than the quantity, and that it was a good place to have and raise children because of the way their social systems work. I don’t care much about the child-rearing part, but I would gladly trade in some of my material possessions for a little flat, a scooter and more vacation.”-Amber Alfano

What Economic Recovery? Canada says U.S. citizens moving to the Great White North has doubled

“I’m looking for a quiet, calm, sane, civilized society to start the next phase of my life.”-Michael, from Michigan

Canadian officials say the number of U.S. citizens applying for temporary work visas doubled between 2008 and 2010.

Since the beginning of 2010 nearly 30,000 U.S. citizens moved to Canada, they make up the second-largest group of temporary workers in Canada, behind only Filipinos.

Global Economic Class War: Greek Police, Firefighters & Coast Guard join anti-government protests

“The government has surrendered all sectors of public life to the country’s creditors. Everything is being demolished by austerity … All our hopes of recovery have evaporated!”-Christos Fotopoulos, National Police Officers’ Association

September 9, in the Greek city of Thessaloniki 5,000 police prepared for massive protests, the problem is that some of the Friday protestors are police officers!

At least 1,000 Police, emergency personnel and even the Greek Coast Guard joined the protests!

“Not only is it difficult, it is impossible to live on the wages we make.  And don’t forget we are also called upon to provide our services in other parts of the country….and we pay for that from our own pockets!”-George Drigakos, Coast Guard Union Representative

Sunflowers absorb radiation!

A Kobe, Japan, private-sector group announced the results of their studies on sunflowers in the contaminated areas of Japan.

They grew sunflowers in 4 fields in Minamisoma City, within 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) of the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.

They found that soil contamination was reduced between 20% and 50%.  Radiation was absorbed by the sunflowers’ roots.  The problem is that the sunflowers are now considered nuclear waste.

Corporate Incompetence: Radiation pouring into Pacific Ocean three times greater than reported! Airborne radiation not monitored!

Researchers at the Japan Atomic Energy Agency, Kyoto University and other institutes say the actual radiation pouring into the Pacific Ocean, from Fukushima Daiichi, is at least three times what Tokyo Electric Power Company is officially reporting.

The researchers say that at least 15,000 terabecquerels (1 terabecquerel = 1.0 × 10+12 becquerels) of radioactive iodine-131 and cesium-137 has entered the ocean!!!  They say TEPCo is not monitoring airborne radiation that falls into the ocean.

Global Economic Class War: Australia’s economy is good, yet thousands of workers are losing their jobs! They blame it on the falling U.S. dollar. Australian workers ready to tear down their government, what’s wrong with the slaves of Corporate America?

Australia’s economy is doing much better that the U.S. economy, thanks to their deals with China, yet the state government of New South Wales is going to layoff 5,000 government employees, and cap government wages!

Also, Australia’s biggest steel maker, BlueScopeSteel, is laying off 1,000 workers!  Back in July solar power companies announced they were losing 73 jobs per day in New South Wales!

September 8 saw 30,000 protestors hit the streets in Sydney.

The latest economic news out of Australia says consumer spending is up, 1%, and their export economy hit 1.2% growth.  Household savings is at 10.5%.  Analysts expect overall economic growth to expand by 4.3% by the end of the year.  Much better than the U.S.

So why are Australians still losing their jobs?

BlueScopeSteel claims they’ve been losing money, no thanks to the rising Australian dollar!  Company officials says most of their sales are overseas, and the high Australian dollar makes their products too expensive for international customers.

Workers and union officials say it’s really because company management is financially incompetent.

As the U.S. dollar falls, other currencies, like the Australian dollar is rising.

The Australian Solar Energy Society (AuSES) and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) says because the New South Wales (NSW) government has failed to adopt the ‘Fair & Equal Price for Solar Solution’ plan, at least 73 solar power jobs are being lost per day.

NSW officials want a four month delay before adopting the plan, but company officials say that by then their companies could be shut down.  The plan would allow residents to put affordable solar power on their own homes, then sell excess power back to the grid.  The plan would not cost anything to the state government.

This brings us to the strange announcement that NSW is going to lay off 5,000 of its own employees, and cap wages for the rest.

From what I could find, the only reason for the government layoffs are because the elites of Australia want to privatize everything.  NSW’s Premier Barry O’Farrell claims it’s a necessary step in preparing for a much more competitive world (the overall bad global economy caused by the United States, like the falling U.S. dollar driving up the Australian dollar).

Residents of NSW aren’t taking this laying down, not like most people in the United Police States of Corporate America.  Here’s what some of the September 8 protestors had to say: “IR laws, stick it up your barrell O’Farrell.”

“Our message to Barry O’Farrell is you are a horrible bastard. You’re a liar and we’re going to fight you every inch of the way.”-Matt, prison guard

The protestors also sang the old Twisted Sister song “Were not gonna take it.”

NSW firefighters also protested, at least 500 firefighters with dozens of fire trucks arrived in Sydney, and union bosses told the firefighters to be ready “to drag this government into the gutter…”!

“O’Farrell doesn’t give a stuff how hard we work, how smart we work, all he wants us to be is cheaper. We have to say no.”-Jim Casey, Fire Brigade Employees’ Union

When will the slaves of the United Police States of Corporate America say no?

World War 3: Kurdish rebels in Iran admit they are being armed by the United States

In an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation’s Iranian channel, BBC Persian, Abdul Rahman Haji Ahmadi admitted they are conducting military action against Iran with the help of the United States.

Abdul Rahman Haji Ahmadi is the boss of the Party for a Free Life in Kurdistan (PJAK) terrorist group.

He said the PJAK had built tunnels into Iran from Iraq.  They also received new weapons and equipment, including 120mm mortars, from the U.S. consulate in the northern Iraqi city of Arbil.

Currently Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) is in battle with the PJAK.  This follows attempts by Iraq’s Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to mediate between the Iranian Kurdish rebels (PJAK) and Iranian government.  The mediation failed after PJAK forces killed two Kurds: “But the PJAK terrorist group paid no heed to the KRG’s appeals and mediation (and) martyred two local Kurdish forces… and this proved to the KRG that the terrorists had ignored its requests.”-Hamid Ahmadi, IRGC Colonel
