In yet more proof that we’ve returned to a Cold War mindset, training missions are being conducted in Wyoming, in which swarms of UH-1N ‘Huey’s fly ballistic missile convoy protect missions.
The 37th Helicopter Squadron, based at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, “…supports emergency war order taskings, by transporting tactical response force teams in support of launch facility denial and recapture and convoy operations.”
