Hotel/resort manager Pyramid Petaluma Management issued a layoff WARN for its ops in Petaluma, 89 jobs gone by the end of September. Law company Archer Norris shutting down, at least 106 jobs gone by mid October! Global Cash Card eliminating 228 jobs in Irvine by mid-October! Banc of California shutting down locations in Santa Ana and Whittier. Airport services contractor Menzies Aviation eliminating 172 jobs in San Francisco by mid-October! Also in San Francisco, InterContinental Hotels Group Resources eliminating 186 jobs right after Halloween! Insurance company Allstate issued a shutdown WARN for its ops in San Diego, 58 jobs gone right after Halloween. Rainbow Disposal issued a layoff WARN for its ops in Huntington Beach, 71 jobs gone right after Halloween. The decision by Lowe’s to shutdown all its Orchard Supply Hardware will result in more than 1-thousand-3-hundred Californians becoming jobless by mid-October (according to official WARN)!
