Four New York Air National Guard personnel were killed in Iraq, 15MAR2018, when their HH-60G Pave Hawk crashed.

A total of seven U.S. military personnel were killed in the crash near the city of Al-Qa’im. Department of Defense says it was not shot down, but is investigating because it’s currently unknown why the helicopter crashed.
The 106th Rescue Wing also took part in the response to hurricanes Harvey and Irma, helping to rescue at least 2-thousand people.
