According to GMDefense, the ISV-Heavy is based on the Chevy Silverado platform, making it larger than the ISV-Utility yet using the same 2.8 liter Duramax Diesel electric hybrid power train.

GM claims the ISV-H can be configured to act as a two seat pickup, a six seat transporter or as a driverless cargo carrying robot.  The truck can also be used as a electricity generator for external applications.
