A lawsuit by two car dealers, plus the fact that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has halted production of specific cars due to lack of sales, now has the U.S. Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission investigating FCA’s sales claims.
For at least seven years FCA has been reporting great sales numbers, but two car dealerships have revealed that FCA forced car dealers to lie about sales.
Blind Bat News first reported in January that FCA was temporarily halting production of Chrysler 200 and Dodge Dart vehicles. Now that temporary halt is permanent resulting in hundreds of FCA and subcontractor jobs being lost. FCA blames it on crashing sales, while at the same time reporting great sales to investors and the government.
