A year long review of detailed information wrested from the hands of the U.S. Department of Labor by legal action shows that 33-thousand 480 U.S. nuke industry workers died as a direct result of contamination!

70-million government records from the past 70 years were reviewed by news organization McClatchy, and the Investigative Fund of the Nation Institute.  However, the number of people listed as killed directly by their nuke industry jobs are based only on cases where the government admitted to and then compensated the victim’s families.  McClatchy investigators pointed out that the federal government intentionally dumbs down the actual number of victims.

The investigation also revealed that current radiation standards are not reducing the number of people being exposed to radiation.
