03 January 2013, U.S. Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner, will step down at the end of the month.

This is not the first time rumors have spread of Geithner wanting to quit his job, but some analysts think it’s for real this time.

Also, in an interview last year, Geithner said he would not stay on if Obama was re-elected.
