Throughout 2011 and 2012, in the central U.S., there will be events held for the 200th Anniversary of the great 1811 and 1812 New Madrid earthquakes.
The New Madrid Seismic Zone stretches from west of Memphis, Tennessee into southern Illinois. The 1811 and 1812 earthquakes were between magnitude 7-8 (Richter scale), with hundreds of aftershocks. They were felt down to the Gulf of Mexico, and north to Canada.
Brazil, China, India, Germany and Russia abstained from passing UNSCR 1973.
Now Brazil wants a ceasefire: “After regretting the loss of lives because of the conflict in the country, the Brazilian government hopes that an effective cease-fire be implemented as soon as possible to allow the protection of civilians and the start of dialogue.”

Critics say Obama’s promises to Latin America have to be false because we’re broke.

Reactor 1 surface temperature reached 400 Celsius. The design limit is about 300 degrees Celsius, according to officials.

Japanese officials have asked people to not give infants tap water.
This is based on government limits on radiation levels that are considered harmful to infants. Radioactive iodine is one of the contaminants found in the water. Radioactive iodine causes thyroid cancer.

Also, the amount of radiation coming from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, is not explainable. They are trying to find out where it is coming from.
