Incomplete list of National Guard deployments/incidents for January 2024.

Despite the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment-separation of church and state, on 12JAN2024 the Ohio Army National Guard held a deployment ceremony in the First Christian Church, for the deployment of their 1137th Signal Company.  The 1137th will provide installation, recovery, repair and maintenance of telecommunications networks in The Middle East.

29JAN2024, local Arizona news reporting Arizona National Guard might have been wounded by the attack in Jordan.  A KTAR report said a not-yet known number of Arizona National Guard members were wounded in the attack, according to Major General Kerry Muehlenbeck. Including the Arizona National Guard, there was a total of 350 state National Guard personnel on the outpost.

The Arizona Army National Guard deployed a unit to The Middle East in February 2023. Note in the TV report the famous-last-words stated several times; “We hope they have fun.” :

To the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) the bubble-top North American P-51D was known as the Mustang, in the newly created U.S. Air Force (USAF) it was known as the F-51 Mustang.  For British empire (Commonwealth of Nations) members still using the World War Two combat aircraft, it was known as the Mustang Mark-4.

Forever Wars: NATO increases taxpayer “investments” for Ukraine, again! Creates “robust” & “innovative” military industrial complex!

On 23JAN2024, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and General Manager of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) Stacy Cummings, signed contracts for the purchase of about 220-thousand 155-millimeter artillery projectiles worth US$1.2-billion, as well as creating a “robust” and “innovative” military industrial complex.  This is in addition to the US$10-billion worth of NSPA contracts issued since July 2023!

Israel occupied The Gaza Strip during the Cold War, in 1967 (what is known in the U.S. as the 1967 War).  1967 is also the year that the U.S. became imbedded into the Tar-Baby called Israel, with a visit, and promise of support, from a politician who would later become the President of the United States:

Today, history being made again. On 11JAN2024, South Africa presented its accusations of a “pattern of genocidal conduct” by Israel to the International Court of Justice, stating that “This killing is nothing short of destruction of Palestinian life. It is inflicted deliberately, no-one is spared, not even newborn babies.”

PANDĒMUS TOTALITARIAN, 2024: ‘Pandemic Medical Response’ now part of U.S. domestic counter-terrorism unit!

In 1999, a U.S. Presidential Executive Order (issued by William Jefferson Clinton) created the Joint Task Force-Civil Support (JTF-CS) with the goal of responding to terrorist attacks within the United States.  JTF-CS is an operation run by the U.S. Northern Command (USNorthCom).

Also revealed is that the JTF-CS ‘counter-terrorism’ mission now includes natural disasters. Video by Chief Petty Officer Brannon Deugan, released on 04JAN2024:

Once the crew was safe, Colonel Beaven stresses that their main concern is the surrounding environment, so much so that they had a hazardous waste containment boom in place within 30-minutes after the incident:

U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Kevin P. Lenox also gave statements that were intentionally designed to stress environmental protection, with a focus on the removal of the fuel from the multi-mission maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft.

Both the A-10 Thunderbolt-2 and the F-16 Falcon were developed during the same decade; the 1970s.

In July of this year, the Idaho Air National Guard revealed that the U.S. Air Force is forcing them to replace their A-10Cs with F-16s, starting in 2027.

A-10C on Gowen Field, Boise Airport, Idaho, 20DEC2023. Idaho Air National Guard photo by Master Sergeant Becky Vanshur.

The A-10A (first flight May 1972) was the result of U.S. Air Force experience with ground attack missions over Viet Nam.

An F-16A belonging to Hill AFB, Utah, flies over Nellis AFB, Nevada, December 1979. USAF photo by Ken Hackman.

The F-16A (first flight in 1976) was developed as a replacement for the F-5E Tiger-2 (itself a replacement for the F-5A Freedom Fighter, designed to be a low cost aircraft for countries who did not have the money to buy the big combat planes, and was subsidized by U.S. taxpayers through the MAP [Military Assistance Program]).

The first USAF unit deployment of F-16s to Europe involved Falcons from Hill Air Force Base, Utah, in 1981. They were sent to Flesland Air Station, in NATO-Norway. U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sergeant Don Sutherland, 01MAR1981.

The division between those in the USAF who liked the A-10 and those who liked the F-16 began during the development of the prototypes, in the 1970s. My father worked at Edwards Air Force Base, California, during that time, and was one of the pro-F-16’ers.  Edwards AFB is where both aircraft were originally developed. My father would come home from work stating that he hoped something bad happened to the A-10, so that the USAF would choose the F-16.  What people (including my father) didn’t seem to understand is that both aircraft were the result of combat experiences over Viet Nam, and were intentionally designed for specific missions, which is why at that time the USAF wanted both aircraft.

A-10C on Gowen Field, Boise Airport, Idaho, 20DEC2023. Idaho Air National Guard photo by Master Sergeant Becky Vanshur.

Both aircraft have been upgraded over the decades, yet ever since the Obama regime was in power the U.S. Air Force has pushed to replace the decades old A-10 with the decades old F-16.
