“Just like what you’d see in a bomb explosion in Baghdad…”-medical official responding to specific questions from a reporter, who was asking about ‘war’ training of Boston emergency personnel.  NBC network cut live interview as live reporter’s questions were very specific about Home Land Security training of Boston city personnel.

Live local NBC reporter admits she was ordered out of explosion area, immediately after explosion, by a cop who said more was coming!!!!

Live reporter says police are closing more streets surrounding Boylston Street.  Several blocks around the explosion area are being called “ghost towns”.   Police continue to say more explosions could happen.  Third explosion confirmed to be controlled detonation of a third package bomb.

Reporter says marathon contestants, and spectators, who are not from Boston, are unable to get to their hotels because the direct routs have been closed, and bus service has been suspended.

Live internet radio program has witnesses saying their relatives running the Boston Marathon were pulled from race, on the grounds they were dehydrated, and sent to hospital right before the explosions.  They say they have lost contact with them.

Live video shows cops ordering people living and working in the buildings on Boylston Street, Boston, Massachusetts, to get out.  People leaving.  A third explosion, reports saying controlled explosion to destroy a possible third bomb found by cops.

Live reporter saying Boylston Street has already been cleared of runners and spectators.  Several streets closed to public access. Reporter says police gave the excuse for banning media access saying there is a possibility more explosions could happen.

Cops say explosions were from two package bombs outside building behind grand stands.  First explosion was small, attracted people who went to help any victims then second more powerful bomb exploded.

Live reporter says almost immediately emergency personnel began blocking access to media.

Video of first explosion makes it clear the explosions took place in the building directly behind the grand stands.  Could be gas explosion, but media speculating terrorist attack.

A nearby bridge has been closed.  Bus service suspended in area.
