Exceptional Failed State: Idaho politicians give away tens of millions to companies that shut down!

According to the Idaho Statesman, Idaho’s governor, Butch Otter, “beamed” as he helped announce the ground breaking for Clif Bar in Twin Falls.  Otter shouldn’t beam, because he and other state leaders gave Clif Bar $4 million USD, from the Workforce Development Training Fund.

The Idaho Statesman discovered that since 1996 Idaho has given away at least $47 million to companies through the Workforce Development Training Fund.  But many of those companies fail, or fail to hire on the trainees.

Even the Idaho Department of Labor called the results of the WDTF “mixed”.   60% of grants failed to create long term jobs!

Also, 400 people who actually went through job training under WDTF were never hired!

Some failed companies that got WDTF money are Hoku Materials in Pocatello ($650-thousand) and Transform Solar in Nampa ($1.5 million).

Martial Law United Police State: Idaho child prison covering up sex crimes, defies federal court order! Culture of systemic corruption in Christian Gem State!

Whistleblower employees of the JCC-Nampa child prison are shouting out about the Idaho Department of Juvenile Correction’s violation of a federal court order.  The court order requires the public release of documents regarding claims of ongoing child sex abuse, and corruption at the hands of sick prison guards!

What’s interesting is the JCC-Nampa website clearly states “Populations Not Intended for Program Placement at This Facility: Adjudicated sexual offenders”.  It only applies to the child prisoners?

One whistleblower said what’s going on in the Idaho Department of Juvenile Correction is systemic, even abused child prisoners are hired as prison guards after becoming adults: “One staff member was involved with a juvenile. That juvenile became a staff member and now they are involved with another juvenile!”-Shane Penrod, whistleblower who had to get counseling because of what he witnessed

The attorney for the current and former whistlblower employees of JCC-Nampa (aka Juvenile Corrections Center–West) says the Idaho Department of Juvenile Correction is deliberately stalling the court.  Apparently the child sex abuse also involves cronyism (so it was a family affair?).

The whistleblowers went public in 2012: “In at least two mind-boggling incidents, female IDJC staff members are believed to have been involved in unlawful sexual relationships with male juvenile offenders in their custody.”-Andrew Schoppe, attorney for whistleblowers

The whistleblowers say the systemic child abuse goes back to at least 1998.

Management at JCC-N said they were not informed of the sex crimes, however, whistleblowers say they repeatedly notified supervisors of the crimes.  Supervisors promised they would tell management.

Also in 2012, a 15 years old former male child mental health prisoner at JCC-N sued the Gem State, after being forced to have sex with a fat 31 years old female prison guard.  The prison guard was arrested, she pled guilty in August of this year.  Bruce Skaug, attorney for the child police state victim, said “On information and belief, we believe that there are other victims of similar crimes at the facility and we do hope they will come forward to the police.”

Most of the population of Idaho call themselves Christians.  The dominant groups are Mormons and Catholics.  Mormons tend to dominate in law enforcement jobs!  I remember when a Mormon contractor I hired to repair my bathroom was arrested for child porn.  The Mormon cops actually let the guy come to my house and return my payment because he wasn’t going to be able to finish the job, then he was taken to jail!

I was working as a News Producer at KPVI at the time (about 1998).  This was when the national news was all over reports of Catholic sex crimes, and we were doing our local coverage of it.  A reporter who is Greek Orthodox came back from the Bannock county court house and reported that all the registered sex offenders in the area were Mormons.  I demanded that if we were going to do a local Catholic sex crime angle then we need to report on the number of local Mormon sex offenders, just to be fair.  That demand was shot down on the grounds that it would upset not only our main audience, but local public officials!  We reported on the contractor being arrested for child porno, but I was not allowed to mention that he is a Mormon from my neighborhood Ward!

Exceptional Failed State: Idaho’s Obama Care Christian corruption covered up by federal court! JAMA is right!

Associated Press reporting that “A coalition of news organizations has asked a federal appeals court to order the release of sealed witness testimony and exhibits in an antitrust trial….” involving Obama Care and Christian hospital networks and insurance companies in Idaho.

The news media coalition includes Idaho Statesman, The Associated Press, The Times-News, Lewiston Tribune, Idaho Press-Tribune, the Moscow-Pullman Daily News and the Idaho Press Club.

The Christian hospital networks accused are Saint Luke’s, Saint Alphonsus, as well as the medical insurance industry and even the Federal Trade Commission.

The news media is demanding the details of a federal trial, that ended in October, to be made public.  The trial was held in secret!

The case involves Christian health care systems apparently trying to take advantage of Obama Care by creating a health care monopoly.   Specifically the case involved a medical center takeover in Nampa, Idaho.

The federal judge sealed trial details that would reveal “…how a health insurance company, hospital or medical practice makes or negotiates contracts, how much a company pays, and future plans.”

This trial backs up recent claims by the Journal of the American Medical Association.

Diesel Prices: U.S. federal agency says prices should go down, AAA says there is glut of fuel and dropping demand! Blame never ending War on Terror for high diesel prices!

The U.S. oil industry is about to retake its number one position in the World market.  Oil production and fuel refining is way up, and gas prices look to be coming down significantly.  But wha’ hoppin’ to diesel?

According to the 12 November diesel fuel retail price report from the U.S. Energy Information Agency, across the country diesel prices are going down.  But from where I can see, in Idaho, there’s a big disparity between gasoline and diesel prices.

In Idaho Falls, on 13 November I noticed gas prices were at an amazing $2.90 per gallon!  However, on the same day in Pocatello they were about $3.30 per gallon.  A 40 cents difference between two cities less than an hour’s drive from each other.

In Idaho Falls diesel prices were about $3.60 per gallon.  But in Boise, on the western side of the state, diesel was just over $4.00!  According to TruckMiles.com, the current average for Idaho diesel is $3.91.

Idaho is in PADD4 Rocky Mountain region.  PADD stands for Petroleum Administration for Defense Districts (notice this is a military thing).  U.S. EIA says gasoline prices have dropped 33 cents per gallon since last year.  Diesel dropped 26 cents since last year.

The EIA predicts the average price for diesel, across the U.S., will hit about $3.30 per gallon by the end of the year.  But will that be true for Idaho?  Right now Idaho’s diesel prices are way above the national average, as are Idaho’s gas prices.  But as you read in the above quote, Idaho’s non-profit AAA (formerly known as American Automobile Association) says demand from Idaho drivers is down, and the glut of fuel supply does not justify the above average prices.

For a more graphic look at the past two decades of U.S. diesel retail prices you can view the EIA’s chart here, which shows diesel prices skyrocketing beginning in 2004 (mmm, that’s right after the U.S. invasion of Iraq, and the U.S. military* is a major user of diesel).    Even though diesel prices have dropped a little since the peak at the end of 2008, they’re still near record highs.

Of interest; California has become such a big user of fuels, and because the NAZI environmental nut jobs running the state have put such refining standards on fuel, that EIA now lists California fuel data separate from the rest of PADD5 (West Coast region).

*According to 2009 numbers the DoD used $13.3 billion worth of fuel. That equates to 360,000 barrels of oil per day, in 2009 dollars! The U.S. military ranks 36th among the top 35 countries (yes, that’s entire ‘countries’) in fuel usage! The U.S. Air Force is the number one user of fuel in the DoD. The jet engine, aka turbine, normally uses kerosene based fuel, but can also use diesel. I know, being a former 19k (& former 19E, 13F, 12B and C-130 Crew Chief) we use diesel in our turbine powered M1 Abrams tanks (the same diesel used in the HUMWV [humvee] and cargo trucks). The M1 gets only 1 mile per 1.6 gallons of fuel!!! We burn more than one gallon for every one mile we drive! Regarding my time in the USAF, the Air Force doesn’t measure fuel by gallons, the aircraft use so much it’s measured in pounds. The latest C-130J cargo hauler uses about 66,000 pounds of fuel to fly about 3452 miles!!!

More Economic Decline: East Idaho’s Grand Teton Mall, in Idaho Falls, for sale! GGP dumping malls en masse!

“General Growth Properties is offering four regional malls…the 636,000-sf Grand Teton Mall in Idaho Falls, Idaho…..A buyer might also reposition or redevelop the properties.”-Real Estate Alert, 16 October 2013

According to an article by Real Estate Alert, the Grand Teton Mall, in Idaho Falls, is being offered in a group auction with three other GGP malls.

The other malls are Meadows Mall in Las Vegas, Nevada, Eastridge Mall in Casper, Wyoming and Red Cliffs Mall in Saint George, Utah.

Even though the malls are considered well performing Mountain States malls GGP wants to dump them fast!  GGP is hoping to raise $400-million USD in the auction.  Note that Eastridge, Red Cliffs and Grand Teton malls, and the money losing Pine Ridge Mall, were part of the May 2013 loan refi with Too Big to Jail US Bank.

Pine Ridge has already been sold off.

GGP spent big bucks on renovating Grand Teton, while spending almost nothing on Pine Ridge, and Grand Teton is doing well while Pine Ridge has crashed, yet GGP is getting rid of both (already sold off Pine Ridge).  Bottom line: Even if a shopping mall is doing well, if the owners are hurting for cash they’ll sell it off and don’t care what happens to it.  Just like when an employer is cutting costs, even if you’re the hardest working most loyal employee, if your name is next on the list you’re out-o-work!

Exceptional Failed State: More Kmart Sears closings! Corporate America want’s crazy “power tripping” workers! Investors love it!

The following quotes partly explain what’s going on with unAmerican Corporate America.  They were found in the Ohio based derf magazine.

In San Clemente, California, a Kmart that was turned into a Sears, and then back into a Kmart in 2012, is being shut down.  A Kmart in Oceanside is finally being closed, it’s closing was announced back in December 2011. No word on when the final days are.

North Carolina losing another Kmart.  This ones in Garner. Local news media reports say no final closing date has been given.  Apparently the store has been on the closing list since 2012.

A Kmart in Sterling, Illinois, will close in January 2014.

The Rochester, Minnesota, Sears in the GGP owned Apache Mall to be sold off.  Sears Holdings officials gave the same BS statement about the fate of employees: “They will have an opportunity to apply for positions at other Kmart and Sears stores.”-Howard Riefs

Sears Canada selling off eight shopping centers!  The properties were sold for $315 million CAD.

Sears is trying to kiss up to military veterans offering them free shipping and extra bonus points in the Shop Your Way scheme.

Investors love what Sears Holdings is doing, the price of Sears Holdings shares remain above $55 USD per stock.

Utah:  Orem Kmart (no details reported).

Virginia: Norfolk Sears (at least 40 jobs lost),  Midlothian Kmart (at least 40 jobs lost), Richmond Kmart (at least 40 jobs lost), Lynchburg Sears (84 jobs lost), Fairfax Kmart (no word on how many jobs lost), Christiansburg Sears (59 jobs lost), Norfolk Kmart on East Little Creek Road (77 jobs lost), Manassas Kmart (71 jobs lost).

Washington: Walla Walla Sears Full line (in August 2012, it was reported that an independent owner of Sears Hometown stores will open a store in Walla Walla), Lacey Kmart (at least 40 jobs lost), Kelso Sears (47 jobs lost), Lakewood Kmart (59 jobs lost), Bellingham Sears (92 jobs lost),  Seattle Kmart (85 jobs lost), East Wenatchee Sears (59 jobs lost), Puyallup Kmart (51 jobs lost).

West Virginia: Oak Hill Kmart (59 jobs lost), Morgantown Kmart (100 jobs lost).

Wisconsin: West Baraboo Sears (at least 40 jobs lost, local village officials say the store generated 3% of local tax collections), Rice Lake Kmart (about 71 jobs lost),  Brookfield Kmart (56 jobs lost), Racine’s Regency Mall Sears (52 jobs lost), Fort Atkinson Kmart (51 jobs lost).

On top of that, Sears Holdings sold stores to General Growth Properties (GGP), of which it has been reported that most of those stores will be closed.

Iowa: Coral Ridge Mall (it’s official the Sears is closing, see above), and Mall of the Bluffs

Texas: The Woodlands Mall (this does not involve the two repair centers being closed by Sears)

California: In Fresno GAF laid off three people.  Symantec laid off 160 people throughout the Golden State.  In Pittsburg, United Spiral Pipe let go 89 employees.  In Oxnard, Aerotek laid off 164 people!  In San Diego, Bridgepoint Education laid off 47.  Obama Care being blamed for 61 people becoming unemployed; Palomar Health and Mills-Peninsula Health made the cuts.

Kentucky: In Hawesville, Century Aluminum shut down, 750 people now unemployed!

New York: In Hicksville, Bunzi New York closed down, 30 jobs lost.  In College Point, Time Warner Cable laid off 75 employees.  In Middletown, the Acme Bus Company shut down, 164 employes on the street!

Wisconsin: In Beloit, Southeastern Container ceased operations.  In Milwaukee, the Urban Day School laid off 40 people.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) doesn’t count the hundreds of layoffs involving less than 50 people each, in its mass layoff reports. It also doesn’t count all the little ‘mom & pop’ businesses that shut down.

Ever hear of G4S?  They claim to be the “leading security company” in the United States, but the private prison concentration camp/private police state operator G4S is based out of the British empire’s United Kingdom.

G4S started out in the 1980s when four British private security companies merged.  Then they merged with a security company in Denmark, becoming Group 4 Falck in 2000.  In 2004 the name changed to G4S.   They took over the U.S. private prison concentration camp operator GEO (which used to be known as Wackenhut).

Their U.S. operation is also known as G4S Secure Solutions USA.

G4S has offices all over the U.S., including Boise, Idaho (aka Idaho Security Services).  Interestingly, GEO still operates as GEO even though they are now part of the G4S family.

GEO/G4S were planning to offer a bid to take over the operations of the evil Idaho Gladiator School (Idaho Correctional Center).  The latest news reports say GEO/G4S suddenly backed out, and even the current concentration camp operator, Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), is jumping ship.  MTC is apparently the new operator of the Idaho Gladiator School.

Idaho has been hit with lawsuits concerning mistreatment of prisoners, including claims of outright torture at the Gladiator School.  Don’t think the accusation of torture is far fetched.  South Africa (a member of the British empire, aka The Commonwealth) recently kicked out G4S, directly accusing G4S of torturing prisoners!  Not only that, but G4S mistreated 300 of their South African prison guards as well!

BBC interviewed one of the prison guards turned whistleblower, who said it is G4S (and possibly all private prison companies’) policy to torture prisoners who complain about mistreatment. The BBC report also says prisoners were forced to take drugs, similar kinds of drugs that the perpetrators of recent mass shootings in the U.S. were on.  Watch the disturbing BBC report here, it includes video shot by prison guards.

GEO (owned by G4S) runs concentration camps in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington state.

CCA runs concentration camps in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho (soon to go to MTC), Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington DC.

According to New Jersey media reports, Catholic Christian governor Chris Christie (a closet Anglophile giving British companies tax breaks even though they destroy jobs in his state) is directly involved in CEC (Community Education Centers, aka Education and Health Centers of America). Don’t let the company’s name fool you, they are totally a prison operation.  The New York Times investigated the company and discovered rampant drug dealing inside CEC’s New Jersey prison ops.  CEC operates in Alabama, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia and Wyoming.  CEC also conducts prison ops in the U.K. territory of Bermuda.

G4S (remember, it is a British empire corporation) runs police state operations in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Washington DC, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Note that is almost all of the United States, and G4S is being paid with your tax money! Isn’t this proof enough that the British empire has regained control of the U.S.?

Most of the executives of GEO, CCA, CEC, MTC and G4S consider themselves to be Christians.  In the United Kingdom, where G4S originates, Christianity is the official government religion controlled directly by the queen (she’s called the Supreme Governor).

G4S has also been hired by Christian universities, in Illinois, to provide campus security.

G4S has also been hired to provide security for U.S. nuclear plants!

Exceptional Failed State: Kroger joins other employers in using Obama Care as excuse to cut employee hours and benefits, including at Fred Meyer in Idaho & Washington!

I know of at least one Boise area Fred Meyer that has drastically cut their employee hours, below 24 hours per week.  An employee there told me the cuts were unexpected, her hours were cut to 16 per week and she lost her Fred Meyer health insurance.  (Idaho is a Right to Work you over anti-union state) This was in mid-October.  It turns out the insurance was actually cut before then.  She had nine cavities filled and when the dentist filed the insurance claim they were told by the insurance provider that the policy had been canceled on 30 September!

She told me the majority of the employees at the Boise area Fred Meyer, where she works, are scheduled for only 20 hours per week.  There are three Fred Meyers in Boise.

Back in October a Fox.news report stated that as many as 30-thousand grocery store workers were preparing to go on strike in Washington state.  This was because they learned their employers were about to slash and burn their hours and benefits, to take advantage of Obama Care.  The report named Kroger Company’s Fred Meyer and QFC as some of those companies preparing to rip off their employees.   Albertsons and Safeway were also mentioned.

Kroger Company is a massive operation based in Ohio, and includes Baker’s, City Market, Dillons, Food 4 Less, Foods Company, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, Gerbes, Harris Teeter, Jay C, King Soopers, Kroger, Owen’s, Pay Less Super Markets, QFC, Ralph’s, Ruler Foods, Scott’s, Smith’s and numerous jewelry stores, dairy operations, bakeries, delis and meat plants all across the United States.

Obama Care (aka Affordable Care Act, aka Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act) allows companies to cancel health benefits for any employee working less than 30 hours per week.

I’ve seen many mainstreamer pro-Obama Care articles outright calling reports of cuts to employee hours and health benefits lies.  Investors.com has been updating a list of U.S. corporations and school districts that have announced they will cut hours and benefits because of Obama Care, so who’s the real liars?  As of 05 November 2013, the Investors.com list now includes up to 363 U.S. corporations and school districts, click here to read it and weep.
